The River Rock Casino

"I am still in complete shock," Felicia tells Barbara as they exit their embrace as they continue to stand in the stairwell of the casino, while the ball continues in the main rooms. Felicia is still reeling from the fact that her friend is alive and well; she had assumed, like everyone else, that Victoria's alter egos had killed Barbara when she was in Raven's Meadow years earlier because of an overdose of electroshock therapy. The fact that some man helped Barbara survive is truly a miracle, Felicia realizes. "You are alive and actually standing in front of me."

"Yes, I certainly am," Barbara smiles back to her. "But listen, I am still recovering from my injuries, Felicia. I don't want anyone to know that I am alive just yet."

"You want me to keep this a secret?" Felicia gasps back to her. "But Helen, she will be so happy that you're alive. And Dawn, my God, everything she went through, she will be so happy."

"I know," Barbara nods back to her. "But I want to be healthy when I reveal myself to everyone. Please tell me that you understand?"

"I'm not sure that I do," Felicia replies to her. "But I will not say anything. But, can I see you again?"

"Of course," Barbara tells her. "You're my best friend. I needed you back in my life."

"Good," Felicia hugs her again. "Because, I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too."

They exit their embrace and Felicia looks back at Barbara. "If I am your best friend," Felicia tells her. "Then you have to tell me something."

Barbara arches her eyebrow. "Okay? What do you want to know?"

"This man," Felicia replies to her quickly. "This man that saved your life, who is he? Who saved you, Barbara?"

The Sugarbowl

Adam moves up to the barista and places his order for a coffee. After being at the Roboto gala, he came to the coffeehouse to try to sober up before he heads home for the night. He knows that he had his share of champagne and didn't want to have a hangover with the students at the high school the following day. Having a hangover while trying to teach is the worst thing, he knows from experience.

He turns to grab some cream and sugar for his beverage and happens to see Robin sitting alone at the window seat with a herbal tea in front of her. He quickly recalls how he ran into Shane at the party and he called Adam a jerk for the way he treated Robin when he found out that she is pregnant. Adam sighs to himself as he moves towards his estranged lover.

"Good evening," Adam says as he moves up to her. "How's your night going?"

Robin turns to him and puts a sly smile on her face."Don't you handsome in your tux?" she chuckles. "Did you go to the ball at the casino?"

Adam nods back to her. "I stayed for a bit but now here I am trying to sober up."

Robin chuckles some more. "Good on you, I'm sure there are people still at the party, drinking the night away."

"Do you regret not being able to go?"

"Not at all," Robin replies to him quickly. "Taking care of my baby is the most important thing to me, so this is for the best."

"Yea, it is," Adam sits next to her. "Look, I'm glad I ran into you. I wanted to tell you something."

Robin arches her eyebrow back to him. "Well, I'm all ears. What's going on?"

"I am sorry," Adam replies to her. "The way I spoke to you the other day when you came to see me, it wasn't cool. I am sorry."

"It's fine," Robin waves her hand back to him. "I understand that you're upset. After all, I slept with Shane, again, and now he could be the father of my baby. I understand that you have your limits with me and this situation."

"I guess we will know soon enough about the paternity of the baby."

"If I am honest with you," Robin looks back at him. "I think you're the father, Adam. I can't place it, but something is telling me that you're going to be a father again."

Adam chuckles back to her. "I guess time will tell."

The Victors Mansion; Daisy's Home

Daisy moves up to the bar in the large living room of the Victors estate and pours herself a glass of red wine. She takes a sip of it as she thinks about how she could barely handle being at the gala earlier in the night because she has been so consumed with the fact that she recently aborted her unborn child. She couldn't handle seeing anyone she knew or loved so she left quickly, barely making an appearance.

"I have to get it together," she whispers to herself. "If I don't want people to know what is going on with me, then I have to pull myself together. I can't keep walking around in this daze."

She looks into the flames of the fire that are roaring in the fireplace. "And it has to start with me getting out of this house. Everywhere I look, I see Vinny's face; he's haunting me. I have to get out of here and that will help me put this behind me."

She takes another sip of her wine as she looks into the flames. "And I must keep Lukas and Meggan find Frederick; if I have a goal, or something to occupy my time, it will help me put this behind me. God, I hope it helps me move beyond this."

The River Rock Casino

Lukas takes a sip of his champagne while he looks over at Jasper and his date, Callum, who are laughing at something one of them said. He recalls how he admitted to Jasper that he still wants him; he is regretting that he said that now, but in the heat of the moment, he couldn't help himself but be honest.

"You look a million miles away," Meggan says to her brother as she comes up to him. "What are you thinking about?"

Lukas smirks back to her. "Uh, Donovan, I guess," he replies to her. "He would have loved to be here tonight."

"One day he will be, I have faith," Meggan says back to him. "I meant to tell you earlier, I'm going to Santa Barbara next week. I'm going to see if I can find get any leads on Leah and Jeff's missing child."

"Okay? Can I help with anything?"

"No," Meggan shakes her head back to him. "I was just thinking, I can look around for any ideas about where Dad could be. Hell, he might even be there."

Lukas nods back to her. "I think that's a good idea," he admits to her. "Anything we can do to find Dad, would be amazing."

"I heard that the auction went very well," Tyler tells Natasha as they walk through the crowded casino together. Tyler, despite working for the competition, continues to be impressed by the ball that Natasha and the Roboto team put together tonight. He knows that he will have to work overtime at Robertson Enterprises to ensure then can come up with something to top this.

"It did," Natasha nods back to him. "We raised a lot of money for charity, which is amazing. This will keep Roboto's name on people's lips for some time."

Tyler uneasily chuckles back to her. "I have no idea how Robertson is going to top this."

"That's partly the point," she looks at him. "So, do you think we can finish our conversation from earlier? Robbie interrupted us just when I think we were about to make a breakthrough."

Tyler nods back to her as he thinks back to how he was going to ask Natasha dance with him, but Robbie interrupted because they had to go and make some announcements about who won each item that was at the auction. He wishes that anyone other than Robbie would have interrupted them because he is still struggling with the fact that Robbie has caused his company so much pain.

"You're not saying anything," Natasha notes back to him. "Did I misread the situation? Or…"

"You didn't misread the situation," Tyler says back to her. "It's just…I was getting caught up in the moment, Nat. There are things that are going to happen that is going to make it impossible for us to get back together, so we should leave it at that."

Natasha looks back at him in surprise. "What does that mean? What things are going to happen? What have you done, Tyler?"

"I can't tell you how proud I am of you for putting this all together with Robbie and Natasha," Greg smiles over to Kim as they stand next to one another with glasses of champagne in their hands. Greg is so happy for his friend for putting the ball together, since he knows that the ball was originally her idea to launch the new perfume, the Queen of the Night, at Roboto.

"Thanks," Kim beans back to him. "I can't believe how well it actually turned out. I had hoped that this would have been a success, but I never imagined it was going to be like this."

"You shouldn't sell yourself short," Greg nods back to her. "You are so very talented Kim. And, you look absolutely stunning tonight."

"Oh, this old thing," Kim says as she twirls in her dress with a giggle. "It is always fun to get dressed up sometimes, hey?"

"You look beautiful," he tells her. "I haven't even noticed any other women here tonight."

"Greg," Kim looks back at him. "You're being too nice tonight."

"I've wanted to do something for awhile now," he admits to her. "And I'm going to do it now."

"Do wha….?" She begins but he stops her by kissing her on the lips. The kiss lasts only a moment before they pair ways.

"That," he winks back to her. "I know we are friends, but I can't deny that I am still very attracted to you."

Kim feels her cheeks blush. "I can't deny that I'm attracted to you as well, Greg. I just need…"

"Time? I get it, I really do. Just know that I'm here Kim. I always have been."

Across the room, Robbie feels his blood start to boil at the sight he just witnessed. He has felt like Kim and Greg were growing closer since they went to Aspen together over Christmas, and now he has confirmation since he just saw them kiss.

"I won't lose you to him Kim," he whispers to himself. "I won't."

Chris circles the casino as he is holding two glasses of champagne in his hands. He recalls how he went to grab some more drinks for him and Trenyce, however, he is not able to find her now. He has no idea where she could have disappeared to, but he finds it most odd.

"Where did you rush off too, Trey?" he asks himself, wondering if he said or did something to upset his fiancé. He sets the two glasses of champagne down and pulls his phone out of his pocket.

"Damn it," he says to himself as Trenyce's phone right to voicemail. "Where the hell are you?"

Meanwhile, upstairs, Andrew is opening the door to the suite of the room that he has booked for the night when Trenyce appears off the elevator and sees the younger man.

"Andrew," she calls out as she rushes up to him. "What are you doing here?"

Andrew looks back at her in surprise. He didn't realize that someone, yet alone Trenyce, was following him towards his room. "Trey? What do you mean, what am I doing this? What the hell are you doing here?"

"I saw you coming upstairs and was curious," she admits to him. "So, what are you doing here?"

"You asked me to move out," he reminds her quickly. "So, I got a suite here. I'm not sure how long I will stay but it is somewhere I can stay at least until I find something more permanent. "

"Oh," Trenyce looks back at him. "I thought you were going to stay at the house until you found something?"

"Yea," Andrew uneasily nods back to her. "That was until we kissed again. I just realized that I can't be around you, Trey. These feelings I have for you, they keep growing. Being at the house will be too difficult."

Trenyce looks around and sees some other guests passing. "Can we go into your room to talk? I don't think we should have this conservation in the hallway."

Andrew lets her into his suite, and she moves inside, looking around as she does. The room is large and is beautifully decorated.

"I'm sorry," Andrew tells her as he closes the door. "I just thought that was for the best."

"It is okay," Trenyce says back to him. "I am just sorry that it has gotten to this point, Andrew."

"Answer me this Trey, and be honest," he looks into her eyes. "Whatever this is between us, it's not just me, is it? You're feeling it too?"

Trenyce gulps heavily and looks back at him. "I….I…Yes, Andrew, I am feeling it too. It's not just you, not by a long shot."

In the stairwell, Felicia looks back at Barbara with intent. She is determined to find out who saved Barbara all those years ago.

"Well, Barbara, who was it? Who saved you?" Felicia asks her again.

Barbara sighs back to her. "You have to brace yourself," she tells her friend. "It was Frederick Richardson."

Felicia feels the blood drain from her face at the words that Barbara just said. "I…I need to go," Felicia say as she rushes past Barbara.

"Wait, when will I see you again? Barbara asks her friend, but it is too late as Felicia has left the stairwell.

Back in the casino, Dominick and Abby are giggling to one another as they stand together with champagne in their hand.

"Dominick, oh thank God," Felicia, who is gasping for air, says as she interrupts her ex-husband and his new wife.

"Felicia?" a concerned Dominick looks back at Felicia. "What is it? What's wrong?"

Abby rolls her eyes at the interruption. She can't help but not enjoy Dominick's relationship with his ex-wife since Felicia is always present. She knows, however, that she has to get along with her because she doesn't want to rock the boat.

"It's Barbara Mills," Felicia looks back at him with concern. "Dominick, my God, she's alive. Barbara is alive!"
