Roboto
Chris and
Natasha sit across from one another in the CEO office of Roboto as they are conducing
their interview for the marketing executive at the company. Chris has felt rather
nervous through out the process but he has tried to keep it under control as he
knows how badly he needs this position. Deep down, however, he still hates
that he is even trying to go back to being a corporate employee; he much prefers
the freedom of being an independent contractor, but as Trenyce as pointed out,
their family and financial needs need to come first. "Those are all
the questions that I have for you," Natasha says over with a smile on her
face. "Do you happen to have any questions for me that I can answer?"
"Uh, yea, I guess I do," Chris nods back to her. "The job posting,
it had a salary range listed, but where would you start with the successful candidate?"
"Yes, there was a range listed," Natasha replies to him quickly.
"The reason our HR department does that is because we can determined based
on the experience of the individual that we offer the position too. The more experience,
the higher than pay we'd offer." "I see, that makes sense,"
Chris tells her. "How many others are you interviewing for the role?"
"I believe HR has set up four more interviews," Natasha explains
to him. "I will be completing them all this week, and we hope to make a decision
early next week because time is of the essence with this role." "That
sounds good," Chris tells her. "Look, I just want to say thank you for
giving me this opportunity to be here and to have this discussion with you. I,
personally, think I would be a great fit at Roboto and really hope to hear back
from you soon." "You will hear back either way," Natasha
says as she extends her hand to shake his. "Thank you for interest, Mr. Michaels.
We will be in touch." The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
"Sorry
it's been so long since we hung out," Sophie tells Logan as they sit across
from one another in the busy restaurant. Sophie knows that after she and Logan
agreed to just be friends she purposely wanted some space between them so they
could move on from any potential lingering feelings that they had. Besides, she
also thought that some time away from one another would help them get over the
loss of their unborn child. "It's all good Soph," Logan says
before he takes a sip of his Blood Mary. "I think we both needed some cooling
down time." "Yea, I think we did," Sophie nods back to
him. "How have you been? And be honest with me?" Logan sighs
back to her as he thinks about how his drinking has increased but he has also,
since, slept with Andy,
and he actually enjoyed it. He isn't sure if that means that he is gay but he
wants to figure that out because it is important to him. "If you're
talking about our baby," Logan looks back at her. "I still have good
days and bad days. How about you?" "Yea, same," she admits
to him. "It's hard to explain how you can feel a loss to something you never
really had, you know?" Logan chuckles to her. "I get it. And
I didn't think I was ready to be a father until it happened. Anyways, what's new
with you?" Sophie takes a sip of her mimosa before she looks back
at him. She knows that she, finally, has come up with a way to get back at Natasha
for sleeping with Max
behind her back: she's going to seduce Shane,
and thus, ruin her mother's wedding to him. "I'm rather excited because
I have this new project," she reveals to him with glee. "I can't say
too much but I'm very much looking forward to executing it perfectly."
"Well, let's toast to that then?" Logan suggests as he raises his
glass to her. "To you getting everything you want with your project."
"Cheers my friend," Sophie smiles back to him before they each take
a sip of their drink. ***
At another table near the back
of the restaurant, Jarrod and Nicholas face one another with some breakfast in
front of them. Nicholas is enjoying the breakfast burrito while Jarrod opted for
the eggs benny with hashbrowns. The mood seems a little tense between the two
lovers as Nicholas continues to be thinking about Andy and his drinking. He knows
that Andy is an adult and can make his own decisions, but the truth is, he can't
help but blame himself for the current status of his former fiancé because
Andy fell off the wagon after Nicholas decided to give his relationship with Jarrod
another chance. "You're quiet this morning," Jarrod says over
to Nicholas before he takes a bite of his benny. "Anything you want to share?"
Nicholas takes a sip of his coffee before he looks back Jarrod. "I think
it is just more of the same; I can't stop thinking about Andy and his drinking."
"Oh God," Jarrod groans back to him. "How many times do we
have to have this same conversation? Andy is a grown man Nicholas! He can make
his own damn decisions; this isn't your fault!" "I wish it was
that easy," Nicholas sighs back to him. "You know why I am feeling this
way, Nicholas. Andy only went back to drinking after I left him for you."
"I've ask you this before but do you regret that decision? Do you want
to end our relationship and go back to Andy?" "No, of course
not," Nicholas says back to him. "I
I wish you were more supportive
of me during this time, Jarrod." "I'm just tired of hearing
you blame yourself for something you didn't do," Jarrod puts his fork down.
"So do whatever you need to do to get over this because I want to move from
this." Before Nicholas can respond, Jarrod stands up and storms away
from the table. Nicholas takes another sip of his coffee and wonders if his feelings
will ever be valid to Jarrod or if his guilt over Andy's drinking will always
come between them. *** Stephanie sits at the bar as she
is dining alone before she heads into the hospital for the day. Her mind continues
to be on the fact that she suspects that Cassie might have altered Carter's paternity
test results as she found out that Cassie had a DNA test completed while she was
pregnant with Carter. If this is the case, she realizes that Jacob might not be
Carter's father. While she has remained torn about whether or not she
should tell Jacob, she also informed Cassie that she is pregnant with her second
child with Jacob. The fact that Jacob will be a father has made her wonder if
she should tell him the truth or not as now another baby's life is at stake, and
there is no doubt that this baby is Jacob's. She turns her head and sees
Jacob and Cassie moving into the restaurant, both having huge smiles on their
faces. Stephanie sighs realizing that they must be on cloud nine with the news
that Cassie is pregnant again. "If Jacob is happy," she whispers
to herself. "Then I can't tell him what I discovered. I
I just have
to move on from these feelings I have for him. He's with Cassie, and he always
will be." Twin Peaks General Hospital
Shane sits behind
his desk in the Chief of Staff office at the hospital. He is looking over some
paperwork that he has been putting off for a while. He has a smile on his face,
however, as he knows that he and Natasha are, finally, back in a good place and
are planning their wedding to one another. He looks up from the paperwork
when he hears a knock on his office door. "Come in," he calls out as
the door opens and sees Will standing on the other side. "Ah, Will, please
come in." "Thanks," Will says as he closes the door behind
himself once he is in the office. "I heard you wanted to see me today?"
"That's right," Shane stands up from behind his desk. "I
I
heard that you filed a motion to prevent a patient in this hospital from making
a decision about her child?" Will looks back at him with intent.
"You know why I did that," Will protests back to his boss. "That
kid is mine and I didn't want the mother, Paige, to give him up for adoption."
"The Judge ruled for Paige though, correct?" "Yes,"
Will nods back to him. "I'm heartbroken. This was the first time I thought
I was going to be a father and it's been ripped away from me. Why are you asking
me about this?" "Because," Shane looks back at him quickly.
"This is not a good look for the hospital, Will. A nurse that is employed
here sued a woman and tried to take away her rights. As COS, It's my job to ensure
that we are acting in the most responsible way. Trying to take away a woman's
right to make her decision about her body is not how we should be conducting ourselves."
"What are you saying?" Will asks him quickly. "I'm
suspending you," Shane reveals to him. "You're going to have a three-month
break from working here and then we will look at your employment here, Will. I'm
taking this very seriously and need you to as well." Robin's Townhouse
"Hang on, I'm coming," Robin calls out as she scurries to the front
door of her townhouse. About ten minutes earlier, she sent her children, Dominique
and Oscar, out to the school bus, and she was finishing getting ready for her
day at Robertson Enterprises, when her doorbell rang. She has no idea who it could
be but she hopes it's not a long visit because she is running late. She opens
the door and gasps when she sees many balloons out front of her house. "What
on earth is this?" "Good morning, good morning," a man
dressed in a suit starts to sing to her as he moves inside with the balloons.
Robin smiles back to him. "This is a special singing telegram for you, Robin
Navyyyyyyyyy!" "What is going on?" Robin asks him quickly
as Cory appears at the door. "My delivery arrived," Cory chuckles
as he moves inside. He passes the man some money as a tip. "Thank you for
delivering these balloons to the love of my life." "Have a great
day!" he signs as he leaves the house allowing Cory and Robin to face one
another. "Why did you do this?" Robin asks him with a chuckle.
"I wanted to show you how much I loved you," Cory reveals. "And
there's more!" he pulls out a small needle from his pocket and pops one of
the balloons causing Robin to shriek a little. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare
you, but you see, there's something special in this balloon." "What
did you put in the balloon?" Robin asks him quickly. "This,"
he says as he bends down and picks up a gold ring with a large diamond in it.
"I want you to marry me, Robin. I want us to spend our lives together. What
do you say? Let's be together, this time forever?" Robin looks at
the large diamond ring and then at the balloons that he brought her. She realizes
that he has been making a solid effort for them to be together again. "I'd
love nothing more than to be your wife, Cory," she says as she leans up and
kisses him on the lips. "I love you and thank you for this." Cory
slips the ring on her finger before he kisses her again. "We are getting
married!" he says as he spins her around and she starts to laugh. The
Tower's; Floor Eight, Victoria & Jeff's Condo "Morning,"
Victoria says as she moves into the kitchen and she sees Jeff about to pour himself
a cup of coffee. She can see that he is already dressed to head into the office,
but she can't help but wonder where his head space is. The previous night he had
surprised her with a romantic dinner where he proposed to her. Victoria was shocked
and taken aback, and she agreed to sleep on it and they would discuss in the morning.
"How'd you sleep?" "After all that food, pretty darn well,"
he chuckles to her. "Do you want a coffee?" "I'd love one,"
she replies to him. "I also had a decent sleep. Although, I kept dreaming
about a certain engagement ring that you gave me last night." Jeff
passes her a coffee and she takes a sip of it. "It was rather late when I
proposed to you, so I understand you wanting to sleep on it. But I am hoping that
you've made up your mind; I'd kind of like to know your answer." Victoria
giggles back to him. "I love you, Jeff, you know that," she admits to
him. "Are you sure that you don't care what your family will say about this?
You know I am not Bryce, Leah, or Paige's favorite person." "They
will have to adjust," Jeff tells her. "You're in my life and that's
not going to change." Victoria nods back to him. "Alright, then
I accept. I will marry you." "Really? You mean it?" Jeff
asks her as he moves up to her and kisses her. "I mean, we are engaged!"
she giggles as their lips part ways. "We are going to be married."
"I love you so much," he tells her before he kisses her again. "But
there is just one more thing, Victoria. One thing that you have to do for me before
we could get married." "What? Tell me? I'll do anything for
you," Victoria replies to him quickly. "You have to be honest
with me, once and for all," Jeff looks back into her eyes. "Did you
frame Leah for those missing funds from Robertson Enterprises? Did you set her
up so she would be forced out of the company?" Dominick's Townhouse
Felicia takes a sip of her tea as she stands in the living room of Dominick's
townhouse. She gets a smile on her face as she is loving that she is, finally,
back at home. She hadn't realized how much she missed being in Twin Peaks, and
close to her family, until she, Dominick, and Eva all returned from Florence.
Now, she never wants to leave again because she knows how much her family means
to her. "I am so sorry Ms. Robertson," Dominick's maid says
as she rushes into the living room. "I tried to stop the visitor from coming
in but he insisted on seeing you." "Who is it?" Felicia
asks her as she sets the cup of tea down on the desk. "It's your
husband," Frederick's voice booms into the room and he locks eyes with Felicia.
"And I'm not leaving until we speak." "It's fine,"
Felicia looks over at the maid. "I'll be okay." The maid scurries
away, but she knows that she will tell Dominick that Frederick has arrived at
the townhouse. "You look good," Frederick tells Felicia with
a smile on his face. "I'm a little upset that you didn't come home to me
when you got back to town." "Home?" Felicia gasps back
to him. "This is my home, Frederick. Not that prison you were keeping me
in." "The Victors mansion is hardly a prison, Felicia,"
Frederick says back to her. "You and I, we were happy there together."
At the corner of the living room, Dominick stops himself from entering the
room as he wants to see if Felicia can handle herself with Frederick. He knows
that he can move in if he needs to intervene. "We were happy because
you were drugging me!" she squeals back to him. "How could do that to
me? How could you think I would ever want to be married to you? You've done nothing
but cause me, and my family, heartache and chaos!" "Felicia,
please," Frederick moves closer to her. "If we could just talk alone
"
Felicia slaps him hard across the face. "Don't you dare come near me,"
she warns him with a glare and he looks back at her in shock. "I want a divorce
and I never, ever want to see you again, Frederick. Whatever you think we had,
it's over!" The Sugarbowl
"Robbie, please,"
Kim pleads with Robbie as they continue to face one another in the back booth
of the coffeehouse. "Tell me what's going on! You're
you're scarring
me." "It's a long story," Robbie admits to her. "But
it's not bad news, I promise. You'll be over the moon." At the doorway,
Tyler
appears and gulps when he sees the two former spouses together. He knew that this
conversation might be happening this morning when Kim wasn't at home when he woke
up. He realizes that he has to stop this from happening; he just hopes that it's
not too late. "This all goes back to last year," Robbie begins
to explain to her as Kim arches her eyebrow. "Kim, there you are,"
Tyler rushes up to the table and interrupts Robbie's sentence. "We
we
need to talk." "We are in the middle of something here, Tyler,"
Robbie looks back at him with intent. "I don't care," Tyler
shrugs his shoulders. "Kim is my wife and I have to talk to her, it's critical
that we speak." Kim looks back Tyler with intent and then over at
Robbie. Both men claim to have something important to tell her but she has no
idea which one she should listen too first. "Please Kim, if we can
just go outside and speak, you'll understand," Tyler pleads with his wife.
"What's it going to be? Are you going to come with me, your husband, or stay
here with your ex-husband?" Next on One Day at a Time -
