The Calimo Mansion

Jacob takes a deep breath in and realizes that he has missed being in his childhood home. The smells coming from the kitchen are familiar to him; he can tell that Rosario is making her famous minestrone soup for lunch, which he absolutely loves, especially on a chilly winter day, like the one upon them. As he takes in another breath to get the smells, he can't help but think about the fact that Cassie sprung on him that she wants another baby. The revelation took him by surprise and he admitted that he wasn't sure if he wanted more children; he is happy with Carter, so this news took him by surprise.

"You're watching the fire," Shane chuckles to his son as he moves into the living room as Natasha follows him. The two have been spending the morning together, which is another sign that they are getting closer again. "You must have something on your mind?"

"Other than Rosario's soup?" Jacob turns to face his parents with a grin on his face. "It smells delicious and I guess I am hungry."

"I asked Rosario to make the soup when I knew you were coming over," Natasha admits to him. "I know it's one of your favorites."

"Thanks Mom, I appreciate it," Jacob tells her.

"Your father is right, normally you only look into the fire if you have something on your mind," Natasha tells him. "Why don't you come have a seat and tell us what's going on with you?"

Jacob moves to the sofa and sits next to Shane. "You two know me so well."

"You're our baby boy and always will be," Shane chuckles to him. "Seriously, what's going on? It's not Carter, is it?"

"No, no, Carter is fine," Jacob replies to him. "It's Cassie…she….she told me something that has taken me back."

"Oh God," Natasha groans. "What has that woman done this time?"

"It's not that serious," Jacob looks over at his mother, as he knows that she and his wife have been feuding for decades. "She…she asked me to have another baby."

"Oh," Shane looks back at his son in surprise. "I…I have to be honest with you son; I didn't think Cassie could have another child…at her age, I mean."

Natasha giggles back to him. "Oh Shane!"

"That's part of the reason she told me it was serious," Jacob ignores their banter. "She said her time is running out. But…I don't know if I want another child, maybe ever. I'm happy with Carter and the way things are."

"Then don't have another child," Natasha instructs him. "You don't have to play along with this idea of Cassie's."

"But you should think about it," Shane looks over at him. "Cassie is right about one thing; her biological clock is ticking, so if you ever want to have another child with your wife, you should do it sooner than later."

The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino

"I am sorry that I missed Olly today, you know I love to see my grandson," Cassie purses her lips together before she takes a sip of her red wine that she is having at her lunch with Max. The two are dining together so they can get caught up with each other as Cassie hasn't seen her son since the Christmas holidays. She wishes that Olly could have joined them as well as she loves seeing him; she is still so pleased that the Judge ruled in Max's favor during the custody trial the previous year.

"With winter holiday break over, he is in school," Max informs her. "He was actually excited to go back and see all of his friends. He wanted to compare Christmas present stories."

"Gosh, he is so adorable, isn't he?"

"You can say that again," Max chuckles back to her. "And he's growing so quickly. Abby and I were just saying that he will be a teenager in no time."

"Time goes by quickly with children," Cassie agrees with him. "You just mentioned Abby; you two are, uh, growing closer, I take it?"

Max arches his eyebrow back to her. "We are Olly's parents, and we spend a lot of time together, so I guess so?"

"Just be careful Max," Cassie warns her son. "You know that woman has a history, and she's dating Ethan, whom she has a child with."

"I know all of that," Max waves his hand in the air. "Abby and I also have a long history, in case you forgot."

"How could I?" Cassie winks back to him. "Just don't get caught in her web, Max, that's all I'm saying."

"I won't," Max reassures her. "How are things with you and Jacob? I haven't seen him for a few weeks."

Cassie sighs before she takes a sip of her wine. She can't help but recall Jacob's lack of enthusiasm about the idea of having another child together; she had hoped that he would have jumped at the chance and that they would be enjoying the trying process with one another.

"Well," Cassie finally breaks the silence between her and Max. "I made a suggestion to him and he wasn't overly keen on it, which…I'm trying not to be disappointed in."

"What was this suggestion?"

Cassie locks eyes with her son. "I suggested that we give Carter a baby brother or sister," she reveals to him. "I wanted to have another baby with Jacob."

"Whoa," Max looks back at her in surprise. "Uh, don't take this the wrong way, Mom, but could you even have a child?"

Cassie shoots him a death glare. "I am not too old!" she scolds him with an uneasy chuckle. "But if I was going to have a child, I should do it sooner than later."

"Do you think Jacob will change his mind?" Max asks her quickly.

"I have no idea," Cassie admits to him. "But I'm going to do everything I can to get him to get on board, because there is nothing more than I would like than to have another baby with the man I love."

At another table, Cheresa sits across from her biological parents, Chris and Trenyce, as they are having lunch together. The previous day, Cheresa was able to go to the mental ward at the hospital and visit Dawn; however, Dawn was in a catatonic state, so she never responded to any of Cheresa's remarks. She just hopes that Dawn is able to recover from the brainwashing because she can't imagine her future without her.

"So, you were able to see Dawn yesterday?" Chris asks his daughter before he takes a bite of his buffalo chicken sandwich. "How did that go?"

"Not very well," Cheresa replies to her father. "She…she isn't speaking. It's like she's withdrawn into herself."

"My goodness, I think it is probably for the best that Simona had her moved from the police station then?" Trenyce replies to her daughter with a look of worry on her face. Trenyce knew that something was off with Dawn when she and Daisy discovered that she had kidnapped Cheresa; when they found Cheresa, Dawn then attacked Trenyce and Daisy in the storage locker, which is unlike Dawn completely.

"I agree," Cheresa tells her parents. "She's…she's not herself. I…I just hope that Daisy is able to get Frederick to help her. I don't know if any other doctor will be able to save Dawn."

"Daisy is a very persuasive woman when she has to be," Chris informs his family. "If anyone can get Frederick on board, it's Daisy."

"From your lips to God's ears," Cheresa sighs back to him. "Because I am so worried about Dawn and I can't lose her; not this way, not now."

The Victors Mansion; Frederick's Lair

Frederick and Daisy continue to face one another in the living room of the Victors mansion. Frederick found his daughter waiting for him when he returned home from Rome; he cut his trip short as he realized it was a longshot that he would find Dominick and Felicia there without a concrete lead. He was surprised to see Daisy waiting for him, and she just explained that Meggan went to rehab, which made Frederick please. Daisy, then, told her father about Dawn needing his help since she was brainwashed by Tara.

"You're not saying anything," Daisy looks over at Frederick, who takes another sip of his scotch. "After everything I just told you about Dawn, are you willing to help her?"

"It sounds like it was quite the ordeal that Dawn went through," Frederick sighs back to her. "To be brainwashed into killing this Chantel girl and then kidnapping Cheresa and then attacking you and Trenyce; my goodness, this Tara woman really did a number on her."

"You have no idea," Daisy shakes her head back to him. "That's why we need your help, Frederick. We all just want the sweet and caring Dawn that we know and love to come back. You're the only one that can help her. So, please, please tell me that you'll do this?"

Frederick takes the final swig of his scotch before he looks back at his daughter. "I will agree to help Dawn," Frederick says as Daisy gasps and gets a smile on her face.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"On one condition," Frederick stops Daisy's celebration. "There is something that I need from you, Daisy. And if you're not able to do this for me, then I'm afraid I won't be able to help you or Dawn."

The Calimo Cabin

Madeline sits on the sofa in the Calimo cabin with a blanket wrapped around her. The fireplace has a fire raging on inside of it, and she is still feeling cold. She was suffering from more guilt pains and hearing voices in her head because she has been raising Kim's baby; it was at this cabin the previous year that she saved Kim from a car accident and induced her labour. When Kim came too, Madeline told her she miscarried, but Madeline actually had the baby and has been raising him ever since as her and Robbie's child. She and Robbie had an intense conversation about her behaviour and that is when she realized that she had to get away for a while, so she came back to the cabin.

"This is the isolation I need," she whispers to herself. "I can stay here for a few days and get myself together."

She closes her eyes for a moment and, immediately, the voices in her head start again. "You're going to hell!" the voice hisses at her.

She opens her eyes and looks around the room to ensure that she is alone. "I have to be okay when I get back to Twin Peaks or this entire plan is going to be exposed and I will lose everything that I've worked so hard for."

The Sugarbowl

Tyler and Kim sit next to one another the bar in the coffeehouse with lattes on the small table in front of them. Kim just told Tyler that she went to see Nicholas to let him know that she suspects that Andy might have fallen off the wagon. Kim was rattled to hear Nicholas blame himself for the reason that Andy might have been drinking again; he believes that because he went back to Jarrod, Andy fell off the wagon. Kim doesn't want Nicholas to blame himself, but she does agree that Nicholas' choice might have been the tipping point for her brother.

"I've been calling Andy but he hasn't gotten back to me," Kim sighs to her husband. "The fact that he hasn't responded is worrisome to me."

"You still think he might be drinking again?" Tyler asks her as he takes a sip of his coffee.

Kim uneasily nods back to him. "I don't want to think the worst but when I was at the Pink Flamingo a few days ago, I really thought I saw him pass a whiskey glass back to the bartender. I…I hope I am wrong but I have a sinking feeling in my stomach."

"What are you going to do?" Tyler asks her quickly.

"I mean, if he's not responding to me, I'm going to have to go see him," Kim informs him. "I'm going to go to his condo and demand to see him. I think I will be able to tell if he's been drinking or not."

"I want to remind you that I am here if you need anything," Tyler grabs her hand and kisses it. "I can't imagine what you're going through with all of this."

"Thanks, Tyler. I appreciate that."

"Hey, you two," Robbie announces as he moves up to the couple. He spotted them when he walked into the coffeehouse and realized he needed to see them. "I'm glad I ran into you."

"Robbie? You look worried, what's wrong?" Kim asks her former husband as Tyler rolls his eyes. He still hates how well Kim knows her former husband; just by looking at him she can tell that something is off with him, which grinds his gears.

"That's why I wanted to see you, especially you, Tyler," Robbie looks at his rival. "Have you heard from Madeline?"

"Uh, not for a few days," Tyler replies to him. "Why do you ask?"

"She's gone," Robbie reveals to the couple. "She left the mansion and I have no idea where she is or when she is coming back."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Jeff and Victoria sit across from one another in the cafeteria of the hospital with some coffees in front of them. Victoria is there to support her lover after Paige gave birth to her child; when she first arrived at the hospital, Bryce told her to give Jeff and Leah some space as they were worried about Paige. Victoria waited until she heard that Paige had the baby before she went to Jeff, even though her blood was boiling at Bryce's suggestion.

"So, tell me how you're feeling about being a grandfather?" Victoria nervously chuckles over to him.

"I…I, uh, don't know," Jeff admits to her. "I am just glad that Paige is doing okay; I knew she would be, but it's always a big moment in a woman's life."

Victoria nods back to him. "That's all that you're going to say?"

Jeff shrugs back to her. "I mean, she's decided to give the baby up for adoption, so I don't want to get too attached to the baby, you know what I mean?"

"That makes sense," Victoria replies. "How do you feel about her decision?"

"It is her choice," Jeff whispers. "If it was up to me, she would have kept the baby, but after she realized that Will was still in love with Eva, she didn't want to be a single mom. I don't blame Paige for her decisions at all."

"I'm glad," Victoria tells him as she grabs his hand. "But I hope you know if you do have any feelings about this, you can talk to me, Jeff. I'm here for you."

"I love you, Vic. I really do."

"I love you too."

"How is Paige doing?" Bryce asks Leah as he moves into the waiting room of the hospital and sees his mother looking out the window. He knows that his sister just gave birth, so he is curious to hear how she is doing. He also recalls how he told Victoria to stay away from Leah and Jeff so they could be together while Paige was in labour without the stress of her being present.

"She's fine," Leah turns to him with smile. "She's resting now."

"Great," Bryce nods back to her. "And she's still planning to give the child up for adoption?"

"That is the plan," Leah tells him. "Hopefully she knows what she is doing because once she turns over the child, there is no going back."

"I don't know that I've told you this, but I saw Victoria arriving at the hospital," Bryce reveals to his mother. "I stopped her from coming into this very waiting room."

"You did?" Leah asks him in surprise. "Whatever you said to her, it worked; she didn't come in and wait for Jeff and I."

"I told her that you and Jeff were focused on your daughter and her presence would be awkward," Bryce tells her. "I guess she agreed with me."

"Thank you for that," Leah smiles back to him. "It was already tense between Jeff and I because of his affair with that woman."

"About that," Bryce locks eyes with her. "I've been thinking about our plan to break Jeff and Victoria up."

"I haven't, I'm sorry," Leah sighs to her son. "I've been so focused on Paige…"

"It's okay," Bryce says back to her. "I think I know what we can do to get through to Jeff but it's risky, Leah. It's not going to be easy."

Leah arches her eyebrow back to him. "What is your plan? I want to know…"

"I'll tell you my idea, but like I said, brace yourself because it's extreme…." Bryce tells her as he and Leah move to some seats to sit down so he can explain his plan to her.
