The Sugarbowl

Jeff sits at the back booth of the coffeehouse with decaf latte in front of him. He knows it is late for a real coffee, but he wasn't ready to go to sleep just yet as his mind is racing a million miles a second. While Meggan was in Mexico City tracking down a lead on Olly, Jeff and Leah ended up making love. Immediately, he told her that it was a mistake and Leah seemingly agreed. Then, Meggan returned home and once they reunited, they also made love. He wishes that he knew why he and Leah had sex again because everything in his relationship with Meggan had been going so well.

"It's a bit late for a coffee isn't it?" Leah asks as she approaches the back booth and sees her ex-husband sitting alone before she sits across from him.

"You're here too," he winks back to her. "Can't sleep?"

"Abby announced that she's taking over as the CEO of Robertson Enterprises," she reveals to him. "I was at the office trying to do damage control."

"I hadn't heard that, when did that happen?"

"Just tonight," she tells him. "There must be something in the air because it looks like there's a storm brewing outside?"

"And I don't think it's snow," Jeff replies to her. "I heard thunder earlier."

"A rainstorm in the middle of October, what are the odds?"

"I should tell you that Meggan is home," Jeff reveals to her. "We reconnected earlier tonight."

"You didn't tell her what happened between us, did you?" she asks him quickly.

"Of course not, I told you that she can't know. It will not happen again so there's no point in hurting her," Jeff tells Leah. "As long as you agree that she can't know."

"I agree," Leah nods back to him. "I don't want to hurt Meggan; the three of us, we have put each other through enough over the years."

"I'm glad you feel that way," Jeff tells her. "Because, I am going to proceed with my original idea; I'm going to propose to Meggan."

Leah gulps back to him trying to pretend that she is happy for him, even though she hates the idea of Jeff marrying Meggan. "Okay, I hope it goes well for you. At the end of the day, Jeff, I just want you to be happy."

"Thanks Leah, I want the same for you. And Meggan, she makes me very happy. This marriage, it will be a good thing for everyone," he tells her, as she wonders if he is trying to convince himself of the words that he is saying or if he really believes it.

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan & Olly's Home

"Have you calmed down at all from the news that we didn't find Olly in Mexico City?" Lukas asks Donovan as he moves into the living room of the lavish mansion that he lives in with Meggan, Donovan and their children. He knows that Donovan was gutted when he and Meggan returned home from Mexico without Olly; the lead that Meggan's contact had on Olly, and possibly Jasper, fell through, so they came home to keep tracking their son, who has been missing for weeks.

"No," Donovan tells him as he pours himself a scotch at the bar. "How can I calm down? We have no fucking idea where Olly is and he's been gone for weeks! I…I'm trying to stay positive, but I am scared that we will never see our son again."

"I wish I had something comforting to say back to you," Lukas sighs to him. "But the fact is, I agree with you. If Jasper did take Olly, he has covered his tracks very well. I … I don't know where we go from here."

"This is all my fault," Donovan takes another sip of his drink. "If I wasn't pushing this revenge plan, this never would have happened!"

"I agree with that as well," Lukas admits to him. "I know that Jasper and I aren't perfect in this situation, but we might never see Olly again because of what you did Donovan, and that's something I'm struggling with."

"What the hell does that mean?" Donovan asks him as he turns around and faces his husband.

"I…I don't know how I will ever forgive you if we don't our son back," Lukas tells him quickly. "Our relationship; I don't know how it can survive this, Donovan. I know this isn't what you want to hear but it's the truth."

"Great," Donovan nervously chuckles back to him. "You fuck around on me and I'm the bad guy. I get it Lukas, I really get it."

Twin Peaks International Airport

Cory sits in the airport lounge, looking out of the window at the private plane that is getting ready for his arrival. He is using the Calimo private jet to head to Switzerland to deal with Sophie's boarding school, however, he can see storm clouds and some lightening in the sky. He hopes that the pending storm doesn't delay his departure because he wants to go to Europe and come home as quickly as possible. He knows that he is needed at home to help Sophie continue to deal with her being kicked out of school and to help her cope with Natasha's pending demise. And, on top of that, he knows that Robin wants to talk to him once he is back. He hopes her wanting to talk to him means that she has decided about their future together; he wants nothing more than to reunite and move forward together.

"Mr. Calvin," a flight attendant approaches him. "We are ready for you to board now."

"Really?" Cory stands up from his chair and grabs his bag. "I was worried that this storm would delay us?"

"No, we should be able to beat it if we leave now," she smiles back to him.

"Okay perfect," Cory replies to her. "I was hoping that we could do that. I want to go to Switzerland and come right back."

"It looks like you will get your wish, come on this way," she tells him as Cory starts to move towards the aircraft.

The River Rock Casino

Antonio sits in his office looking over the latest figures from the various games in the casino. He is pleased with the latest figures at the casino and hopes that it continues because it means that his business is doing well.

He picks up his phone when he hears it ring as he knows he is expecting a phone call because he asked one of his goons to investigate Cory's travel plans. He just hopes that they have answers for him.

"You better have good news for me," he says into his phone. "Perfect and you're sure that you did the job correctly?....Good, don't let me down. My future with Robin is depending on this."

He hangs up the phone when he sees his office door open, and Isabelle appears. He smiles at the sight of his daughter. "My beauty, come in. How are you tonight?"

"I'm fine Dad," she tells him as she closes the door behind herself. "Do you have a minute to talk?"

"I always have a minute to talk to you," Antonio grins back to her. "What is going on?"

"It's about my wedding to Jacob," Isabelle admits to him as he crosses his arms over his chest. "I know you weren't thrilled by the engagement, but the wedding will be sooner than later because Jacob's mother isn't well. I am hoping that you will support me and come to the wedding?"

Antonio sighs back to her. "I still have my reservations," he admits to her. "I wish you weren't rushing into this Isabelle."

"I know," she nods back to him. "The truth is, Jacob's mom is dying and she wants to see us married before she passes away. That's a big part of the rush."

"I understand," Antonio replies to her quickly. "I don't want to miss your wedding, but I do have my concerns about this union."

"Please Daddy," Isabelle pleads with him. "Come to my wedding. I don't want the day to go without you being there. Please think about it, okay?"

Meanwhile at the Pink Flamingo, Jacob sits at the bar with a glass of wine in front of him while he waits for Isabelle to be finished with her visit with her father. He decided to sit out the visit since he knows that Antonio isn't exactly thrilled with their engagement. He hopes that Isabelle can convince Antonio to come to the wedding because he knows how much it would mean to her.

"You're drinking alone?" a voice calls from behind Jacob. He turns around and sees Cassie standing there. "Can I join you? I could use a drink?"

"Uh, sure," Jacob replies to her as Cassie sits next to him and orders a martini. "I don't know how long I will be; I am just waiting for Isabelle to be finished with her father."

"It will give us enough time to talk," Cassie tells him quickly. "Please tell me that you have reconsidered this engagement?"

"Cassie…"

"No, Jacob, you have to listen to me! This is crazy! Why would your mother want you to be with a woman that you barely know? This doesn't make any sense!" Cassie tells him. "Please, I'm begging you, tell me that you understand this!"

"I will tell you what I told you before," he looks at her. "And that is that I want to make my mother happy before she passes away. I will do anything I can do make sure that happens, including marrying Isabelle. I know that you're upset by it, but Cassie, you have to accept it because I will marry Isabelle and there's nothing you can do to stop it."

Before Cassie can reply, Jacob turns and sees Isabelle move into the restaurant. Jacob looks at Cassie before he stands up. "I have to go, please let this go, okay?"

Cassie takes a long sip of her drink while Jacob leaves with Isabelle. "You will not marry her," Cassie whispers to herself. "I will find a way to stop this from happening, I must figure this out."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"What's the latest with Dawn?" Cheresa asks Greg as he moves into Dawn's hospital room carrying her file. Cheresa hopes that her father is able to give him good news that Dawn is getting better; if that happens, she would love for Dawn to be brought out of her medically induced coma.

"She is making good progress," Greg reveals to her. "She is healing nicely, the way I thought she would while in the coma."

"Does that mean that you can bring her out of the coma?"

"Not yet," Greg looks back at her. "I know you want that, Cheresa, but these things take time. The best thing for Dawn is to be sleeping while she heals."

"I just hate this," Cheresa admits to him. "I really want this to be over."

"I know, but like I said, this is the best thing for her," Greg replies to her. "How about we talk about something else?"

"What else could we talk about?"

"Traci," Greg tells her. "Do you think that our maid reminding you of Tara has anything to do with Dawn's accident? Maybe two traumatic events are leading you to be confused?"

Cheresa shrugs back to him. "To be honest, I've been so focused on Dawn, I haven't had time to think about that. I don't know why she reminds me of Tara, but she does; I mean, she looks nothing like her but sometimes it's just her mannerisms. I am sure it is nothing."

"If you're sure, then I can let this go," Greg tells her. "Because I want to focus on my wedding to Kim. I want to marry her more than anything else in the world."

"I know you do Dad," Cheresa forces a smile on her face. "And I think a wedding is just what we need right now. We need something positive to happen in our life. You and Kim, you will bring us all joy and happiness."

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Kim & Cheresa's Home

Kim stands in Traci's bedroom frozen in shock as she holds the wig that she found in the back of the closet. The wig is reminding her of the Tara's hair; Kim keeps flashing back to that night in the warehouse last year when she, Greg and Robbie saved Cheresa from Tara, who had kidnapped her. Of course, it was the night where Kim miscarried her baby because a bunch of boxes collapsed on her. But the wig in front of her, definitely looks like it could be Tara's, which supports Cheresa's claim that Traci reminds her of her kidnapper.

"This…this doesn't make any sense," Kim whispers to herself. "Why would Traci have a wig that looks like Tara's hair? They don't look anything alike? What the hell is going on here?"

She continues to look in the closet, hoping to find another clue that will help her solve the riddle, but she can't find anything that will help her.

"I need to put this back and tell Greg and Cheresa what I found," Kim tells herself. "Maybe they can help me piece this together."

Just as Kim is about to put the wig back, the door to the bedroom opens and Tara emerges. She immediately freezes at the sight of Kim holding her wig. "What the hell is going on here? What are you doing in my room and going through my things?" she asks sternly as Kim stands up and gulps heavily.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I don't believe this," a dumbfounded Adam replies to Helen as they sit across from one another in the cafeteria of the hospital. Helen just finished telling her ex-husband about her recent visit from Simona, who told her that Dale's car was found on the outskirts of town as it was left in a private parking lot. The owner of the lot called the police and when they went to get the vehicle, Simona noted that there was a huge dent on the side of the car. She suggested that Dale might have been the one who hit Dawn with his car but when Helen confronted her fiancé, he covered with a story. "Why was Dale's car outside of Twin Peaks?"

"Well," Helen begins to continue her story. "He claims that he was involved in a minor accident, so he parked his car and took an Uber back into town. He was going to call a tow truck but then he found out about Dawn's accident and it slipped his mind."

"I guess that make sense, it's just odd timing, don't you think? Dale's car is in an accident at the same time that Dawn was hit by a car?"

"I asked him if he hit Dawn and Dale said he didn't," Helen tells him. "I believe him, Adam. What motive would Dale have to want to hurt our daughter?"

"I know exactly why," Adam looks back at her with intent. "It's Mallory. What if Dale wanted to kill our daughter to get revenge for Mallory's death?"

Helen feels the blood drain from her face at the thought. "No, it can't be," she whispers back to him. "He couldn't have…."

Before Adam can respond, Simona enters the cafeteria and moves closer to the couple. "I'm glad I found you," Simona tells them. "I have some news."

"News? What is it?" Helen asks her, hoping to that she has found the person responsible for Dawn's accident.

"I'm running a test," Simona reveals to them. "Using some of the paint chips from Dale's car and comparing them to some of the chips found at the scene of the accident involving Dawn. If they match…"

"Then it proves that Dale tried to kill our daughter," Adam finishes her thought as he looks at Helen, who gulps heavily. "We will see if Dale is the one that wanted our daughter dead."
