The River Rock Casino

The casino has been transformed into the venue for the Roboto auction & gala that they are throwing for the release of their latest perfume, the Queen of the Night. To fit the setting, black and gold decorations are in the casino. There are waiters walking around taking drink orders but also carrying trays with glasses of the finest champagne in the world. There is a room dedicated to food in case any guest needs nourishment and there is another room that has all of the items that are up for auction. There are waiters also walking around giving everyone sample sizes of the perfume that is being launched that evening. Everyone that is known in Twin Peaks is at the ball, and some guests are even wearing masks to go with their outfits.

In the middle of the main gambling area, where the majority of the slot machines have moved so there is an open space, Natasha sips some of her champagne while she looks over at Robbie and Kim, who are wearing a tux and a long black sparkling dress.

"I can't believe this," Natasha smiles to her co-workers. "This is going to be a huge success guys!"

"I just came out of the auction room," Kim reports to her family. "The original campaign poster that we signed that Bob created is already at a 1.5 million bid."

"Incredible," Robbie grins to the ladies. "I think this deserves a toast ladies! The Queen of the Night is going to be a huge success because of this ball."

"I'll drink to that," Natasha clinks her glass with the other two and takes another sip. "Let's just hope that nothing goes wrong tonight."

"Nothing will," Kim replies to her. "This is our night; no one or nothing will ruin it."

In a small room in the back of the casino, Frederick stands at the door and peers into the crowd. He can see so many citizens of Twin Peaks that he hasn't seen in years because he has been in hiding. He knows, however, that he will reveal himself by the end of the night, but first he knows that he must execute the rest of his plan, or at least the start of his plan.

He turns and sees Eva standing behind him in a sparkling golden dress. "You look beautiful tonight," Frederick smiles to her.

"Thank you," Eva nods back to him. "What are we doing here? What is this party all about?"

"Just remember what we have been practicing, okay?" Frederick replies to her quickly. "You have a mission tonight, are you ready to execute it?"

Eva nervously bites her lower lip. "I know what I have to do but I'm nervous. I'm not sure I can do this."

"You can and you will," Frederick encourages her. "Remember what I said, if you help me with this then I will help you with your memories. You want to remember, don't you?"

"More than anything else in the world," Eva tells him. "I feel like I have so more to live for then being here, not that you haven't been great to me."

"I understand," Frederick replies to her. "Now, you just must put this on, and we can begin, okay? And if you need anything, you know that I'm here for you."

Eva accepts the small box from Frederick and moves to open it. She looks up at him in surprise after she sees what is inside. "Are you sure about this?"

"I am more than sure," Frederick smiles to her. "Don't worry, you will be great. I know you will be."

"I must admit," Tyler tells Natasha as he grabs a glass of champagne from one of the waiters that passes him by. "This is some party, Natasha."

Natasha smiles back to him, thrilled that he is complimenting her and her team on the success of the night. She knows that, on some level, he must not be happy that Roboto is having such a banner night because he is running the competition. And, she knows that they haven't exactly been seeing eye to eye lately.

"I really appreciate that Tyler," she looks back into his eyes. "I wasn't sure that you would show up considering how far apart we've been lately."

Tyler uneasily looks back at her as he recalls how he requested that Ethan file the lawsuit papers against Roboto. To his surprise, Ethan filed them in record time, and he is now just waiting for Natasha, or someone at Roboto, to be served with the papers. He doesn't know how that will impact his relationship with Natasha, but he knows that he must do what he believes is right for him and his company.

"I wouldn't have missed this for the world," he tells her. "Besides, it allows me to see what my competition is up too."

Natasha chuckles back to him. "I'm sure you have something up your sleeve already to compete with the Queen of the Night," she says back to him. "But enough business talk, do you want to dance?"

"Nat, are you really going to stand there and just pretend that we are fine, and nothing is going on between us? I don't think I can just pretend that we are okay, even at this fabulous party you've thrown."

"Why can't we just try?" Natasha asks him quickly. "If we are ever going to be able to move on, we have to start somewhere. Why not here and now?"

Tyler uneasily looks back at her as he sees Ethan grabbing a glass of champagne. He gulps heavily wondering if Ethan is going to serve Natasha with the lawsuit papers tonight.

"I'm going to grab another glass of champagne and I will think about it, okay?" Tyler tells her. "I don't want to give you, or us, any false hopes. But, congratulations again on this wonderful event. You've outdone yourself."

Natasha sighs to herself as she watches Tyler walk away from her. She wonders if she will ever get back to what they previously had; every day that goes by that they remain at odds, she worries that they will never get back together.

"Thanks Tyler," she rolls her eyes to herself. "Thanks for nothing."

Lukas sips on some of his champagne while he looks at the crowd and is impressed by the casino and the party. He has always loved getting dressed up and attending black tie events. He pulls out his phone and takes a couple of pictures of the gorgeous venue and then open his text message app.

He sends the pictures to Donovan and types, "Wish you were here!"

He shuts his phone down and looks around, hoping to see some friends or Meggan so he doesn't have to be completely alone at the ball. He scans the room and draws his eyes on a man that is across the room.

"Jasper is here," he whispers to himself as he sees how good his son's nanny looks in his tuxedo. He immediately tries to remove those thoughts from his head, but he is quickly taken a back to their many times of having sex with each other. "Damn it, Lukas, get a hold of yourself."

He feels the blood drain from his face when he sees another good-looking man approach Jasper with a fresh glass of champagne. The two men share a quick kiss with one another before they scurry off to the auction room.

Lukas, immediately, recalls how Jasper told him that he was going on a date with a guy he was chatting with over Grindr. "I guess he's moved on," he whispers to himself. "That has to be for the best. It has to be."

Shane grabs a glass of champagne as he steps out of the auction room. He placed a couple of bids but some of the items that he was interested in are already out of his price range, which is a shame for him, but he knows that Natasha will be thrilled. As he takes a sip of his drink, he can see Adam standing over at the bar grabbing custom-made cocktail.

He immediately thinks to how he got a call from Robin, who isn't attending the party because she is pregnant, and she didn't think it would be good for her to be around the alcohol. She told Shane that Adam revealed to her that he would leave her if Shane is revealed to be the father of her child. In Shane's mind, Robin needs support right now, not ultimatums.

"You have a hell of a lot of nerve, you know that?" Shane says to Adam as he approaches him at the bar.

Adam slowly turns with the drink in his hand and sighs heavily when he sees Shane standing next to him. "Yes, I am having a good time so far that the party, thanks for asking Shane."

Shane rolls his eyes back to him. "You know damn well we aren't about to start playing nice with each other," he spits back to him. "How could you treat Robin the way that you did?"

Adam looks back at him in surprise. "How I treated Robin? That's rich considering she slept with you, twice, while we were supposedly together."

"You know that she is pregnant," Shane replies to him quickly. "The most important thing is the health of the child."

"I don't disagree," Adam tells him quickly. "But that doesn't mean that I will sit back and just be a doormat, Shane. I told Robin how I felt, and I still feel that way; if you're the father of her that baby, Robin and I are done."

"You're a jerk," Shane says quickly. "You couldn't have told Robin that a worse time. Do us all a favor? Stay the hell away from Robin until we know who the father is, she doesn't need the added stress that you clearly bring into her life."

"I am really scared about what Tyler is going to tell us Monday morning," Paige chuckles to Jacob as they each grab a glass of champagne and then take a sip of it. "I am sure he will be in overdrive to come up with a new campaign that will rival the Queen of the Night's."

Jacob smirks back to her knowing that Robertson Enterprises will have to come up with something special to compete with everything that Roboto has put together at the gala. "I know, it's making me dread going to work already."

"Not me," Paige admits to him. "I'm looking forward to the challenge, especially right now."

Jacob arches his eyebrow back to her as he wonders what she is talking about. "Right now? What's going on? Has something happened that I don't know about?"

Paige sighs back to him as she takes a sip of her champagne. She recalls how she and Max had another disagreement over her not supporting Dominick and Abby's marriage; the next day, Max dumped her because he believes that she has felt like she was better than him their entire time together. She still can't believe that he ended things with her because he had been pursuing her for years.

"I guess you should hear this from me," Paige looks back at him. "It's about me and Max."

"Oh great, are you two engaged or something?"

"No," Paige shakes her head back to him. "He…he ended our relationship."

Jacob's mouth opens in shock. The last thing he was expecting to hear is that Max ended his relationship with Paige since he and Max battled for her affections for so long.

"He did what?"

"I know," Paige nods back to him. "I was just as surprised as you are, but he made it clear that he doesn't want to be with anymore."

"Wow, I'm sorry to hear that," Jacob tells his friend. "How are you coping with the breakup?"

"It hurts, I can't lie," Paige admits to him. "I just always thought that we could make it work, even when we had difficult times, you know?"

Jacob nods back to her. "Well, you know how I feel, right?"

"How?"

"That you were always too good for Max Black," Jacob smiles back to her. "He was trouble and you deserve better. Now, you can find a guy worthy of your time."

Paige chuckles back to him. "While I appreciate you saying that, the last thing I need right now is another man. I'm going to take some time for me so I can try to learn and grow from my mistakes."

Across the room, Abby stands in surprise as she listens to Max inform her of his decision to end his relationship with Paige because he felt like he was never good enough for his former girlfriend. She is even more impressed by her friend for defending her and her marriage to Dominick to Paige.

"I am sorry that it had to come to this," Abby tells Max quickly before she takes a sip of her champagne. "But I really appreciate you defending me and my marriage."

"I mean of course," Max replies to her quickly. "You're my friend and your marriage is your business. It's not for Paige, or anyone, to try to say if it is right or not. Especially since Paige and I had to deal with her family not supporting us when we first got together."

"How are you really doing Max? You have wanted to be with Paige for as long as I can remember," she reminds him. "Like, remember that summer of the Gen Next House at Robertson Enterprises? It's been years since you've wanted her."

"It has been years," Max agrees with his friend. "But the piece is that, she was fighting us being together the entire time, if you think about it. That's part of the reason why I realized I had to move on, you know? It shouldn't be that hard to stay in a relationship."

"I'm proud of you Max," Abby hugs her friend. "I know you will find a girl that deserves all the attention that you will give her."

"Thanks Abs," he smiles back to her as they exit their embrace. He happens to look over her shoulder and sees Tyler grabbing a glass of champagne. He immediately realizes what he must do. "Can you give me a second?"

"Of course," Abby purses her lips back to him as Max scurries over to Tyler.

"Hey Tyler," Max announces to his boss. "This is some party, huh?"

"It certainly is," Tyler nods back to him. "We are going to have a staff meeting on Monday to discuss how Robertson can compete."

"I won't be there," Max quickly replies to him.

Tyler arches his eyebrow back to him. "What are you talking about?"

"The reason I came to see you just now is to tell you that I am quitting my job at Robertson Enterprises effectively immediately," Max stuns Tyler with his news. "I really appreciate all of your opportunities, but the time is right for me to move on."

Tyler uneasily nods back to him. "Is there anything that I can do to make you change your mind?"

"I'm afraid not," Max replies to him. "I've made my decision."

"I wish you the best," Tyler tells him. "And if you ever want to come back, let me know. You have a great skill set, Max. Anyone would be lucky to have you."

Frederick nervously paces back and forth in the back room of the casino as he knows that the first part of his plan is about to unfold. He just hopes that everything goes accordingly to plan.

"Eva will do what I told her to do," he whispers to himself. "She will do this and help me get Felicia back. I know that she will."

He moves back to the door and sees Felicia standing in the casino drinking some champagne. His heart starts to flutter at the sight of the woman that he has loved for so many years.

"Soon we will be together," he says as he looks at Felicia. "Nothing will stop us from having the future I've always wanted for us. Nothing."
