*** Meanwhile, downstairs
Sophie pours two cups of tea for herself and one for Cory. Her father stopped
by this afternoon to share some news with her, but Sophie has o idea what it could
be. If anything, her mind is still wondering how Shane is doing after he saw her
naked. She hopes that the image is still in his mind; after all, she knows that
her body is obviously more youthful than her mother's, and she would love nothing
more than to seduce her soon-to-be stepfather as a way to get revenge on her mother
for sleeping with Max behind her back. "So, what brings you by?"
Sophie asks her father as she passes him a cup of the tea. "Not that I am
complaining; you know that I love getting surprise visits from my father."
"I love seeing you two baby girl," Cory smiles back to her before
he takes a sip of his tea. "I
I have some news, actually, and I wanted
you to hear it from me and no one else." Sophie arches her eyebrow
back to him. "Please tell me it's good news," she chuckles to him. "I
don't think I could handle any bad news right now." "Why? What
is going on, Soph? Are you okay?" "Oh yes, I'm fine," Sophie
waves her hand in the air. "It's just
there always seems to be something
going on with some one in the family. It's been nice that it's been so
I
don't know
peaceful lately?" Cory chuckles. "We have an
entertaining family?" he suggests back to her. "But seriously, this
is good news, at least I think so." "Alright, I'm all ears.
What's going on?" "I
I asked Robin to marry me," Cory
reveals to her. "And she accepted! Robin and I, we are going to be married!"
"What?" Sophie gasps back to her Dad as she sets her tea cup down
and hugs him immediately. "Oh Daddy, I'm so happy for you, for both of you.
You know I adore Robin." "I was hoping you'd be happy for us."
"I'm not just happy, I'm elated! Oh, this is the best news ever!"
The Davenport House; Chris, Trenyce, BJ, & Tinah's Home Chris
paces back and forth in the living room of the house that he shares with Trenyce
and their children. His mind is racing over the fact that he found out that he
wasn't the successful candidate for the position he applied for at Roboto. He
knows that when he tells his wife, she is going to be devastated because she really
wanted him to get this position so he could make more money as they have been
in financial destress lately. He knows that deep down this is all his
fault; he was never eager to return to the corporate world, and that clearly came
across in his interview. He is just dreading telling Trenyce because he knows
how desperate she was for him to get his position. And, on top of it, Daisy just
told them that she was leaving town to start her new career as a lawyer. Frederick
wants her to look over some of the contracts at the winery in Santa Barbara, so
she is headed there. He knows that Trenyce will see this as another blow.
"There you are," Trenyce says as she moves back into the living
room. "Hey, are you okay?" "Yea, I'm
uh
I'm fine,"
Chris manages to say back to his wife. "How are you doing now that you've
heard Daisy's news?" "I will miss my Aunt," Trenyce admits
to him. "But the truth is, this is a great new chapter for her. I have no
doubt that she is doing the right thing. And let's be honest, this is just a trip.
She will be back in Twin Peaks before we even know it." "I'm
glad that you have a good attitude about it! That's half the battle."
"Yes," Trenyce smiles back to him. "By the way, I've made us
dinner plans at the Pink Flamingo tonight. I requested the most romantic table
in the restaurant!" "Uh, really? Why?" Chris asks her quickly.
"To celebrate, of course," Trenyce giggles back to him. "I
just know that Roboto is going offer you that job." "But

" "Come
on, we don't do this often, and it will be a way to celebrate!" "I
can't do this," Chris groans before he storms past Trenyce. She shutters
when she hears the front door slam closed behind him, leaving her wondering what
just happened between her and her husband. The Riverbench Winery; Santa
Barbara Andrew sits in the office in the winery looking over some
of the paperwork that is a part of his day to day at the winery. He continues
to enjoy the work that he is doing at the winery, which is a blessing because
he didn't realize how much he needed to escape Twin Peaks until he got here. The
best part is that he has been able to Facetime with Tinah when he misses her.
He didn't want to lose the connection he was building with his daughter, and he
has been able to continue with that while being in Santa Barbara. "Alright,
some of these contracts are a bit over my head," he whispers to himself.
"Frederick did tell me that he was sending one of his lawyers here to review
to for me. That should be good because I know nothing about a legal contract."
At the doorway to the study, the figure that has been watching Andrew hovers
in the shadows watching him. Whomever it is, is smart enough to stay out of the
light, so Andrew doesn't notice them watching his every move. Andrew,
then, stands up to move to the bar to make a drink, causing the figure to rush
down the hallway, having, once again, not been seen by Andrew. As Andrew pours
himself a glass of wine, he remains clueless that someone, or something, has been
watching his every move while being at the winery. The Sugarbowl
Eva sits in the back booth of the coffeehouse with a latte in front of her.
She has tears in her eyes as when she arrived at the Sugarbowl she ran into Will,
who informed her that he was leaving town. He claimed that after he lost his son,
the lawsuit, and his job at the hospital, he felt like there was nothing left
keeping him in the town, so he was leaving. While Eva has recommitted herself
to Dominick, she can't help but feel sad because she and Will spent many good
times together. "Eva? You look like you've lost your best friend,"
Paige says as she comes up to her grandfather's girlfriend and sits across from
her. She had arranged at the coffeehouse and after she got her order, she saw
Eva sitting alone with the tears in her eyes. "Are you okay? Is it my grandfather?
Or Felicia?" "Oh, sweetheart, no," Eva shakes her head
as she wipes her eyes dry with a tissue. "Dominick and Felicia, they are
fine. Just fine." "Then what's wrong?" Paige asks her.
"Unless I'm overstepping?" "You're not," Eva forces
a smile on her face. "I appreciate you checking in on me. It's very sweet."
"We are family," Paige replies to her. "If you want to talk,
I'm a good listener." "I suppose this impacts you as well,"
Eva admits to her before Paige arches her eyebrow. "When I got here, I ran
into Will. He's gone, Paige." "What do you mean, he's gone?"
Paige asks her quickly. "I
I just saw him a couple days ago."
"That was the last time you'll see him," Eva whispers back to her.
"He's left town. He told me that he has nothing left for him here. I
I
don't know that we will ever see Will again," she tells Paige, who gasps
back to her and, immediately, starts to feel like this is all her fault. ***
Meanwhile, at the bar seats Cassie and Max sit next to one another. Max had
requested to see his mother since the last time he saw her, she admitted that
Jacob had walked on her when she told him that she was pregnant. At the time,
Max told his mother that she deserved better than that, but he knows how much
his mother is in love with Jacob, so he is assuming that she has forgiven him.
"You have a glow about you," Max uneasily chuckles to his mother
before he takes a sip of his chai latte. "I'm guessing that means you and
Jacob have reunited?" "Yes, we have," Cassie replies to
him quickly. "He came home and apologized for rushing out after I told him
about the baby." "What made him change his mind?" Max asks
her next. "You made it seem like he was pretty upset by the news."
"He was," Cassie nods. "I guess he spoke to Shane, who made
him realize the error of his ways." "Maybe now he'll finally
grow up!" "Max!" Cassie playfully slaps him. "I know
you and Jacob have a history, but I love him. In fact, I'd love for you to come
for dinner tonight; it's time we all get together as a family." "I'd
love too, but Adam and Helen are in town because of Dawn; they are going to meet
Olly later." "Oh, that sounds nice," Cassie purses her
lips together. "Promise me that you'll make an effort with Jacob, please?
After all, he is the father of your younger siblings." "I'll
try my best, but if pulls another stunt like this, all bets are off."
The Park
Stephanie sits on a bench that is overlooking the river.
Her mind is still torn about whether or not she should tell Jacob the truth that
she uncovered about Cassie: she had a paternity test completed while she was pregnant
with Carter. Stephanie realizes that this means that Carter might not Jacob's
son as it would have given Cassie the ability to know that she had to pamper with
the future DNA tests that were completely on the boy. On top of this, Stephanie
was the doctor who told Cassie that she is pregnant with Jacob's child again.
"That bitch is trying to destroy me," she whispers to herself. "She
is blackmailing me with the fact that I was born a man. But I knew at the time
I was four years told that I was born into the wrong body; how dare she weaponize
this against me! I am just living my truth, my authentic self." She
shakes her head still furious with Cassie for what she is doing to her. "But
at the end of the day, there is an unborn child here; I
I don't want to do
anything that would hurt that baby." She stands up to leave as she
knows that she has to get to the hospital. Just as she turns around, Jacob walks
by her, as he is headed to the coffeehouse. "Stephanie," he says as
he stops and looks at her. "Hey." "Jacob," she gulps
back to him. "Hi." The Pier
"This idea for
a walk was nice," Helen says as she, Adam, and Cheresa walk along the pier.
The spring day is making it comfortable to be outside and the early marks of summer
are clearly evident. Earlier in the day, the three of them were at home waiting
for an update from Frederick on Dawn's status when Cheresa got a phone call from
the state prison which informed her that Tara was going to be released. Apparently,
Tara has exhibited good behaviour in jail and has been released. Since there was
no physical evidence that Tara brainwashed Dawn, the courts decided to let her
be a free woman. "The fresh air is calming me down," Cheresa
admits to her girlfriends' parents. "I was pretty rattled getting the phone
call about Tara." "That's fair," Adam stops and looks back
at Cheresa. "I think we need to realize that coming back to Twin Peaks is
probably the very last place that Tara would back too. She has so many enemies
here, it wouldn't make sense." "I agree with my husband,"
Helen says. "The fact is, not only did she brainwash Dawn, but she shot Kim,
and she kidnapped you; there is nothing left for her here." "I
hope you're right," Cheresa sighs back to him. "The thought of that
woman walking around free after everything she has done, it shows a huge flaw
in our legal system
and if she even thinks
" she pauses she looks
at ahead and gasps. Adam and Helen turn their heads and sees a woman approaching
them. "Who is this?" Helen whispers to Cheresa. "Tara,"
Cheresa replies to them as the convict approaches them. "Cheresa,"
Tara grins back to her. "How lovely to see you again." Twin
Peaks International Airport
Kim looks over her shoulder at the airport
and sees that Tyler is still in discussion with the airline attendant about getting
an updated ticket as there was an issue with his. Tyler had whisked Kim to the
airport to take her to Paris for a delayed honeymoon, despite her being mid-conversation
with Robbie, who claimed to have something important to tell her. Once they got
to the airport, they were both shocked when Robbie arrived and demanded to speak
to Kim before she left. Tyler was furious, but had to go speak to the airline.
"I still can't believe that you followed us here to the airport,"
Kim looks back at her husband. "I agree with Tyler that this is getting out
of hand, Robbie. Do we need to get a restraining order against you?"
"No!" Robbie huffs back to her. "I told you, what I have to
tell you, it will change everything, Kim. I don't know why you won't just hear
me out!" Before she can answer, the alarms in the airport going off.
Suddenly, police officers emerge with their guns out. "Everyone get
down!" they yell as they start scanning. A nervous Kim and Robbie
fall to the ground and look at one another. "Don't worry, I won't let anything
happen to you," Robbie whispers to her. "I got you." The
Tower's; Floor One; Andy's Condo Andy can't help but start to chuckle
as he looks back at Meggan and Jeff, as he stands next to Logan. Earlier, they
were about to have sex with one another, which they both agreed to do sober. The
first time they were together, they were both very drunk, but they both enjoyed
it. As Logan has always identified as straight, he wanted to have sex with Andy
while sober to see if he actually enjoyed it. To their shock and horror, Meggan
and Jeff barged in on them, and Meggan told Andy that he would pay for this.
"I'm going to pay?" Andy looks back at her with intent. "You're
fucking crazy lady! Are you sure you aren't you still drinking?" "Don't
you dare say that to me!" Meggan shrieks back to him. "Not after everything
I went through to get sober!" "Okay, I think we all just need
to take a deep breath here," Jeff tries to interject. "Yea,
Mom, you're losing it," Logan looks at her quickly. "I'm losing
it?" Meggan quips back to him. "Just a few months ago, you were expecting
a child! And now, you're here, with this lush?" "A child that
you killed," Andy smirks back to her. "Get off your high horse!"
Meggan slaps Andy hard across the face causing him to stumble backwards. "You
son of a bitch! You stay away from my son! Or so help me God!" "Mom!
Jesus!" Logan rushes to Andy. "Are you okay?" "Okay,
I think we need to go," Jeff says. "Logan come on, we are leaving. Now."
"I'm so sorry," Logan tells Andy, who rubs his face from the slap.
Meggan is the last to leave and before she shuts the door she looks back at
Andy. "That was your warning, you come near my son again, I won't be responsible
for my actions." Next on One Day at a Time - Andy has a
drink - Cheresa and Tara have a heated encounter - Jarrod confides in Donovan | |
