The Tower's, The Penthouse; Cory's Home

Robin listens carefully on the baby monitors until she doesn't hear a noise coming as it means that both Dominique and Oscar are fast asleep. She is grateful that her children are being so well behaved right now because she is still grieving the loss of Cory; she can't believe that man that she has loved for so many years died in a plane crash. The worse part is that when Cory was scheduled to return from Switzerland, they were going to discuss their relationship and make plans to move forward with their reunion.

"It's all such a waste now," she whispers to herself as she sets the monitor down on the coffee table. "We wasted so many years and for what? You're gone and you're never coming back to me."

She looks at a picture of Cory that rests on the fireplace mantel and runs her finger over his face as tears swell in her eyes. "Oh Cory, how am I going to move on without you?"

Before she can say anything else, she hears the doorbell ring. She wipes her eyes dry before she moves towards the door of the penthouse. She opens the door and is surprised to see Antonio standing on the other side.

"Antonio," she greets him. "What brings you by?"

"You just lost someone very close to you," he says as he moves into the penthouse. "My first thought when I woke up this morning was to come by and see how you're doing. So, how are you?"

"Not well," she admits to him. "It doesn't seem fair that right when Cory and I were getting back on track this happens, you know? I ... I don't know what I'm going to do."

"Do you think that staying here is the best idea? Here, you are flooded with memories of Cory; and the children, then don't know this space."

"No, I need to be here," Robin informs him quickly. "This place, this penthouse, it holds so many special moments for Cory and I; it makes me feel closer to him. The children, they are so young, they won't know any different."

"Alright, I am just looking out for your best interests," he looks back at her, hoping that she gets over her grief soon. He knows that he had one of his goons ensure Cory's flight went down so he could have a chance with Robin; he still believes that with Cory out of the picture, he and Robin will be very happy together. "What are your plans for the day?"

"Uh, not much, why?"

"Well, Isabelle is scheduled to marry Jacob in a few hours," he reminds her quickly. "You could come as my plus one if you wanted something to take your mind off Cory for a little while?"

"I appreciate the offer Antonio, and thank you for that," Robin purses her lips together. "But I need to pass. I have to get my head around the fact that I will never see the man that I love again; the man that I miss more than anything else in the world all the while trying to be the best mother I can be to my babies."

Antonio feels his blood boil at her rejection. He continues to hold out hope that this will only be temporary and that, eventually, Robin comes around to the idea of them being together. But he knows that he has to tread lightly while she is grieving.

"I won't push," he forces a smile on his face. "But Robin, I am here for you with whatever you need while you're grieving. You don't have to go through this alone; I won't let you go through this alone."

"Thanks Antonio, I mean that," she moves up to him and hugs him, which causes his heart to flutter. "Now, go and see your daughter get married. You should be there for this joyous occasion."

The Cascade Apartments; Cassie, Max & Carter's Home

Cassie paces back and forth quickly in the small apartment that she shares with Max and Carter as her mind races about how she can possibly stop Jacob from marrying Isabelle. She knows that the wedding is scheduled to take place in a few hours but she hasn't pieced together, yet, what is going on with Natasha.

"I broke into Shane's office at the hospital," she reminds herself of everything she has done recently. "I took pictures of Natasha's medical file in hopes of finding out what was going on with her illness. But there wasn't even a mention of this blood disease in her file; why? Why wouldn't have Shane made note of that?"

She continues to pace as she moves up to the small mantel in the living room and picks up a picture of her, Jacob and Carter having fun together. She throws the picture across the room, which causes the glass to shatter every where.

"Ahhhh!" She screams out in frustration. "Why can't I put this together? I feel like I am missing something? But what? What the hell is going on with Natasha?"

Before she can say anything else, she hears a faint a knock on the door of the apartment. For a moment, she gets a smile on her face, hoping that it is Jacob, and that he has come to his senses about marrying Isabelle.

She rushes to the door and opens it quickly. "Jac...oh Sophie, sorry I thought you were someone else."

"I know you were hoping I was Jacob," she tells Cassie as she moves into the apartment. "I...I don't know why I'm here, if I'm honest."

Cassie arches her eyebrow back to her. "What do you mean? Something must have brought you here?"

"I guess I have been thinking about my Dad," Sophie admits to Cassie. "He would want the right thing to happen; he would want the truth to come out."

"The truth? What are you talking about?"

"That's the thing, I have no idea what the truth is," Sophie admits to her. "But before Jacob marries Isabelle, you should know everything that is going on because it might help you keep Jacob; and if that is what is meant to happen, then I have to do the right thing, just the way my Dad would have wanted me too."

Cassie nods back to her, holding on to some glimmer of hope. "Okay? What is that you want me to know? What could help me prevent Jacob from marrying Isabelle?"

The Calimo Mansion

Jacob looks in the large mirror that is in his bedroom of the Calimo mansion while he tries to fix the bow tie that is putting on as a part of his wedding ensemble. He sighs in frustration when he is able to get it, but he looks over his shoulder when he hears a knock on his door.

He moves to the door and opens it and sees Shane standing there, already in his tuxedo. "Son, I thought I could come help you get ready for your big day, unless you don't want me here?"

Jacob smiles and pulls Shane into a hug. "Of course, I want you here, Dad. Come in. I could use your help with my bow tie; it's proving to be difficult."

"You should have got one of those clip on in the back bow ties," Shane chuckles to him as they move closer to the mirror.

"Isabelle almost died when I suggested that to her," he laughs back to his Dad. "Seriously, who knew these things were so difficult?"

"Look at you," Shane tells his son as they look back into the mirror. "You are all grown up and about to be married; I can't believe this day is here. I remember changing your diapers..."

"Dad!" Jacob laughs back to him. "I don't think we need any of those memories today."

"I'll save it for the speech at the reception," Shane winks back to him. "In all seriousness Jacob, I can't tell you how proud I am of you. Marrying Isabelle is one of the best decisions that you have ever made; I wish you two nothing but a life time of happiness."

Jacob pulls Shane into a hug. "You know, all I've ever wanted was to make you and Mom proud; that's it. So, if today is reflective of that, then I consider myself to be a good son."

"You're not a good son," Shane whispers back to him. "You're the best son a guy could ask for."

Meanwhile, Isabelle sits at the vanity in the room that she is getting ready for the wedding in and she applies the latest pink light lipstick from Roboto. She thought that it would be only natural for her to wear the company's products since she and Jacob's wedding will be featured in many magazines.

"Why do I have so many butterflies?" She asks herself as she sets the lipstick down.

She looks over her shoulder when she hears a knock on her door. "Come in," she calls out as she sees the door open and Antonio appears. Immediately, Isabelle feels water swell in her eyes as she knows that her father wasn't keen on the idea of her marrying Jacob; she even had to plead with him to come to the wedding, so the fact that he is standing in front of her, wearing his tuxedo means the world to her.

"You came?" She asks as she stands up and looks over at her father.

"You mean the world to me," Antonio replies to her as he moves up to his daughter and puts his hands on her shoulders. "I wouldn't have missed today for anything else in the world, my beauty."

"Oh Daddy," Isabelle hugs him and holds him tightly. "I know that you have your reservations but I do believe that Jacob is the man for me. He makes me so very happy."

"I trust your judgement," Antonio looks into her eyes as they exit their embrace. "And the moment he stops making you happy, he will answer to me."

Isabelle chuckles back to him. "I love you."

"I love you more."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Why haven't we heard anything?" Andy sighs as he looks over at Greg, Cheresa and Abby, as they all continue to wait for an update on Kim, who was rushed into emergency surgery after Greg discovered her having been shot twice.

"I don't know how long Kim had been laying there before I found her," Greg replies to him quickly, recalling how he went home after a night shift at the hospital and discovered his fiancé with two bullets in her in Traci's bedroom. He still has no idea what happened, but he is worried about how much long Kim lost. "Based on the blood on the carpet, it was a while."

"What does that mean, exactly?" Abby asks her father out of concern.

"The more blood she lost, the more complicated the surgery becomes," Greg explains back to them. "Not only would they need to remove the bullets so they could stop causing further damage, but they need to ensure she has enough blood in her system to keep operating. This surgery, I don't envy the doctor in that OR."

"We just have to keep being positive," Cheresa chimes in. "Do you guys mind if I go check on Dawn? I'd like to see how she's doing?"

"No, of course not," Greg tells his daughter. "Give her our love; we will come find you once we hear about Kim."

Cheresa leaves the waiting room as Andy stands up and stretches his legs and arms, while Abby goes over and gives Greg a hug.

Just then, Robbie bursts into the waiting room with Madeline following him. "Where is she? Where is my wife?" Robbie asks as Madeline and Greg look at one another in surprise.

"Kim is in surgery," Abby tells him quickly. "We haven't heard anything yet, but we are expecting too anytime."

"My God, what the hell happened?" Robbie asks as he runs his hands through his hair.

"We don't know all the details," Greg explains to him, trying to keep his cool that Robbie just referred to his fiancé and his wife, but it makes his blood boil.

Andy, meanwhile, secretly pulls Madeline aside as he can tell that she is also reeling from Robbie's slip. "Don't let it get to you," he tells his sister in law. "It was a slip of the tongue, nothing more."

"Do you think so?" Madeline asks him with tears in her eyes. "I've always suspected that Robbie still has feelings for Kim and now, I think I just got my confirmation."

***

Adam exits Dawn's hospital room and sees Simona waiting for him in the hallway. Adam looks at the police detective and arches his eyebrow.

"Simona," he says moving up to her. "What brings you here?"

"How is Dawn?" Simona asks him quickly, just as Cheresa comes up to the group.

"I was just about to ask the same thing," Cheresa says as she looks at Adam.

"She's good," Adam nods back to them. "She was awake and we chatted, but she fell asleep. She is still recovering, so I think the rest is good for her."

"It is still a miracle that she is awake," Cheresa smiles back to her. "So, Simona, what brings you here? Do you have any leads on who hit Dawn with their car?"

"Actually, I do," Simona reveals to them. "Have either of you spoken to Helen? I told her about some of the test I was running?"

"No, we haven't been able to get ahold of her, which is very odd," Adam explains to her. "What are these tests?"

"Well," Simona sighs back o him. "The police department got a call about an abandoned vehicle in a private parking lot in the warehouse district; when we ran the plates, we learned that the vehicle belonged to Dale Cunningham."

"Dale?" Cheresa asks in confusion.

"Yes," Simona nods back to her. "I asked Helen about it, but she didn't know anything. It lead to the conversation that there was a large dent on the front end of Dale's vehicle; I thought it was odd that the vehicle was found just after Dawn's hit and run, so I ran a paint sample from Dale's vehicle to the paint chips found at the scene of Dawn's hit and run."

"And? Did they match?" Adam asks as he feels his blood start to boil.

"They did," Simona replies to him. "We believe that Dale hit Dawn with his car and as such, we have put out an ABP on him."

"My God," Adam gasps back to her before he looks at Cheresa. "That means that Helen could be in grave danger. I have to find her...I have to find Helen before it's too late."
