Theme song: "Here Comes the Night" Agnes
Previously on One Day at a Time - Chris and Trenyce got married and
then left for their honeymoon - Andy was floored when Nicholas revealed that
he married Clayton on their wedding day - As Abby begged Dominick to forgive
her, he collapsed! - Dawn and Cheresa broke into Dale's office, hoping to
uncover information on him that would make Helen change her mind about marrying
him - Leah admitted that she felt lost with everything going on in her life
as Jeff decided to propose to Meggan - Lukas asked Meggan to try to find Olly
and Jasper Dominick's Townhouse
Everything, suddenly,
moves into the slow motion for Abby, who is on her knees as she has been begging
Dominick to understand why she was drugging him into forgetting the events leading
up to him stopping Felicia and Frederick's wedding, which is because she was worried
that if he knew that Eva was alive, he would leave her because their marriage
would be illegal since he and Eva never formally divorced. All of this stress,
is what lead her to share multiple kisses with Ethan, the younger man that she
is attracted too. She just needs, desperately, Dominick to understand her side
of things. The last thing that she wants is for him to walk away from her and
their marriage. As Dominick, however, starts to move away from her, he
grabs his chest. He looks down at his wife in a panic and feels himself go pale.
"Abby," he gasps for some air as she looks up at him. "Help
help
me
." Then, before Abby can react, Dominick collapses to the
ground. Abby's eyes open wider in shock and horror. "Dominick?" she
asks as she rushes up to him. "Dominick? Can you hear me? Dominick? Oh my
God, Dominick can you please wake up?" She stands up in a panic
and looks around the room to find her cell phone. She wipes her eyes and finally
sees it. "Hold on, Dominick! Please, hold on," she cries as she grabs
her phone and dials 9-1-1. "Yes, I need an ambulance! My husband, he just
collapsed! Please hurry! Please, oh my God, Dominick!" | |

The Tower's; Floor One; Andy
& Nicholas' Condo
Andy's mouth opens in shock as he looks at Nicholas
as they stand facing one another in his condo. Andy got home and was devastated
at the fact that Nicholas didn't show up for the wedding; Andy was left at the
altar and when Nicholas arrived at the doorstep, he was with Clayton. Clayton
gleefully announced that he and Nicholas had gotten married, which Andy didn't
believe until Nicholas just confirmed that it was true. "I don't
believe this," Andy shakes his head back to him. "You and Clayton, you
got married? Today? Today was supposed to be our wedding day? And you married
another man?" "I know that this comes as a shock," Nicholas
begins to explain to him. As he looks back at Andy, he feels his heartbreak inside
his chest as he hates that he is about to hurt the man he loves but he also knows
that he is between a rock and a hard place because of Clayton's blackmail scheme.
If Nicholas doesn't do this, Clayton will ensure that both Andy and Madeline go
broke due to the clause that Clayton has in Preston and Olivia's will. "And
the last thing that I want to do is to hurt you." "Hurt me?"
Andy nervously chuckles back to him. "I was standing in that church,"
Andy tries to not get choked up. "I was waiting for you to walk down that
aisle, Nicholas! I was waiting to vow to spend the rest of our lives together
and you, you stand there telling me you married another man but you don't want
to hurt me? Don't you think it's a little late for that?" "I
am sorry," Nicholas gulps heavily. "Then why are you doing
this?" Andy asks him as a tear falls down his cheek. "Why did you marry
Clayton on our wedding day?" The Sugarbowl
Cory opens
the door to the coffeehouse and moves inside as he is looking for another caffeine
fix. As he moves into the lineup, however, he can't help but notice Leah sitting
alone in the back booth. He hasn't seen his former lover for a few weeks but,
accordingly to Robin, she is okay with them reuniting. He can't help but recall
seeing Antonio kiss Robin's hand at the church earlier, but he will try to not
get too jealous. He finds himself moving closer to his ex and sits across from
her. "Why are you sitting by yourself when it is such a beautiful
day outside?" Cory says with a smirk on his face as he sits across from her.
Leah looks up from starring into her coffee and looks at Cory. "Hi stranger,
I guess I was just thinking and, thanks to you, I'm not alone anymore."
"What are you lost in thought about? Or do I even have to ask?"
Cory asks her back. "You know me so well," she admits to him.
"I do feel
I don't know, like my life is a bit of a mess right now.
I am still coming to terms with Frederick being my father and the fact that I
might never find my son that I had when I was in Santa Barbara."
"That is a lot for one person to be dealing with on her own," Cory tells
her. "You know that you could have called me for support, right?"
Leah uneasily chuckles back to him. "Call you? Do you think that Robin
would have approved of that? I know that you and my sister have been growing closer
again, Cory." "That we are," he tells her. "But that
doesn't mean that the time we spent together is just erased. I know that we went
our separate ways after the proposal, Leah, but I do still care for you. A part
of me always will." Leah feels her eyes swell with water. "Lately,
I keep asking myself where I'd be right now, where'd we'd be, had I said yes to
your marriage proposal." "Don't do that," Cory tells her
quickly. "Don't beat yourself up. You did what was best for you; did it hurt
like hell? Yes, but everything happens for a reason. You know what I think? I
think if you had accepted my proposal, you'd still be feeling this way about the
aspects of your life because they are that huge. You just need to breathe and
try to come to terms with what your future may or may not look like, Leah. I know
its easier said than done, but I believe you can do this. You have too in order
for yourself to move on." Robertson Enterprises
Jeff
places a couple of files on the desk in the main office of Robertson Enterprises
that he needs Tyler to have final sign off on before he moves to the bar in the
office and pulls out a sparkling water from the mini fridge. He takes a sip of
it as he thinks about the fact he has purchased an engagement ring for Meggan;
he is now just trying to find out when he is going to ask her to marry him. He
still can't believe that he is back in this position with her because they have
had a long history of being together. "You look a million miles
away," Paige says as she moves into the office and sees her father lost in
space. "What are you thinking about?" Jeff turns and smirks
at his daughter. "I was lost in thought," he admits to her. "How
are you doing sweetheart?" "I'm good," Paige nods to him
as she moves up to him and hugs him. "Now, what were you thinking about?"
Jeff chuckles to her. "Well, I guess I should tell you since you will
find out sooner than later," he looks back at her. "I've made a decision
about my future." Paige arches her eyebrow back to him. "That
sounds ominous. What's going on?" "I'm going to ask Meggan
to be my wife," he reveals to her. "I'm going to propose to her."
Paige's eyes open wider in surprise as she wasn't expecting to hear this
from Jeff today. She knows, like everyone, that her father and Meggan have had
a rocky relationship over the years. While she has enjoyed seeing them reunite
lately, she never thought that they would head down the aisle again.
"You're not saying anything," Jeff chuckles to her. "Normally people
say 'Congratulations!'" "Oh of course," Paige forces a
smile on her face and she hugs him again. "Congratulations, Dad. I hope this
is what you want and that you and Meggan are happy together." "Thanks
sweetheart," Jeff smiles as he holds his daughter. "This is what I want;
I couldn't be happier." "Good, than I'm happy for you,"
Paige replies to him, as she thinks about the fact that her parents will now,
likely, never get back together, and that is something she has always secretly
wanted. MW Investigations
"I am glad that you guys
could make it today," Meggan says as she stands up from behind her desk in
her office as Lukas and Donovan move inside. She looks at her brother and brother
in law and can tell that they haven't been getting a lot of sleep as they are
still worried about Olly, who has been missing for days now. Since Simona Lopez
hasn't been able to track down Olly, or Jasper, who is the believed kidnapper,
Lukas asked Meggan for further assistance. "Of course," Lukas
looks back at his sister with anticipation. "What have you uncovered about
Olly?" "Have you found our son?" Donovan asks next, hoping
that she has good news. Neither he or Lukas know how much longer they can go without
learning something about Olly's whereabouts. "No, I haven't found
Olly yet," Meggan reveals to them as they both sigh. "But, I did get
a lead. It isn't much but it is still more than we had yesterday."
"Alright, what is this lead?" Donovan asks her next. "One
of my men saw someone, or someone who fits Jasper's description," Meggan
tells them as they look at one another. "In Mexico City." "Mexico
City?" Lukas gasps back to her. "Mexico? How the hell did he get to
Mexico?" "I don't know, we don't even know if it's him,"
Meggan informs them. "This might be nothing." "What are
the next steps?" Donovan asks her, trying not to get his hopes up too much.
"I need to go to Mexico," Meggan tells them. "I need to go
and see if I can find Jasper and Olly." The Davenport House;
Chris, Trenyce & BJ's Home
"I do wish we could have stayed
away a bit longer," Trenyce says as she sits on the sofa with her large pregnant
belly showing. She and Chris have just returned home from their honeymoon, which
didn't last too long because they had left BJ with a sitter and Trenyce is very
pregnant. "I know baby, but it was nice to escape for a short time,"
Chris sits next to her on the sofa. "Did you have a good time?"
"Our first trip as husband and wife? Of course I did," she looks
over at him with a smile on her face. "Did you have a good time?"
"I always have a good time with you," he winks back to her. "And
now that we are home, we can prepare for the arrival of this little one. BJ is
getting so excited about being a big brother." "I know, he
can't wait." "You know, Cheresa will also be a big sister,"
Chris reminds her as Trenyce looks back at him as she recalls how just before
their wedding, their daughter seemingly started giving her a cold shoulder. Neither
one knows what happened with Cheresa to go turn cold on her, but Trenyce didn't
care because she wanted to focus on the wedding. "How can I forget
that?" Trenyce asks him back. "I'm not sure how much she will want to
be a part of the baby's life considering her attitude before the honeymoon."
"I'll tell you one thing," Chris replies to her. "Now that
we are home and we have the wedding behind us, I think our focus should be on
rebuilding our relationship with our daughter. I don't want this distance in our
family, Trey." Trenyce finds herself nodding back to her. "Alright,
let's try to get Cheresa back. I have no idea how difficult this will be, but
it's worth a try." "Family is always worth fighting for,"
Chris tells her as he leans in and kisses her on the lips. "And that includes
Cheresa." The Lawson Estate; Greg, Kim & Cheresa's Home
"I am sorry that we didn't find anything in Dale's office the other night,"
Cheresa tells Dawn as the lovers have glasses of wine in their hands as they sit
on the sofa in the lavish home that Cheresa grew up. Cheresa recalls how a couple
of nights earlier, she and Dawn broke into Dale's office, hoping to find some
information that would help change Helen's mind about marrying him. They didn't
find anything, however, which left Dawn feeling upset because she had hoped to
stop her mother from marrying Dale. "I mean, it's not your fault,"
Dawn smiles back to her. "I am sure that I will come up with something. I
just have to ensure that Helen doesn't marry Dale; I can't place it, but I don't
trust him." "You told me recently to trust my instincts when
I was having trust issues with Traci, so I think you need to take your own advice,"
Cheresa winks back to her. "I am," Dawn nods to her. "I
will do whatever I have to do to help my Mom." "That's part
of the reason why I love you so much," Cheresa smiles to Dawn. "You're
so caring, you just want the best for everyone that is in your life."
"I needed to hear that babe, thanks." "I don't really
want to wait to get married anymore," Cheresa surprises Dawn next. "Let's
go and, I don't know, elope?" "What?" Dawn gasps back
to her. "You want to elope?" "Why not?" Cheresa replies
to her quickly. "I mean, I don't think I need a big fuss; I just want it
to be you, me and our love. What do you think?" "Let me think
about it, okay?" Dawn tells her. "It's something to ponder for sure
but I will think about it and let you know." One Day House; Second
Floor Offices
Dale opens the door to his office and moves inside.
He quickly walks towards his desk and sits down before he pulls out some files
that he has to review. He opens the files and starts to read and he reaches to
grab a pen but he looks up when the small tray of his writing utensils normally
is but is moved further away. He arches his eyebrow and moves back to the normal
spot on his desk. He pauses, however, and looks around the office and
notices small differences within the room. He arches his eyebrow and stands up
quickly and continues to investigate the office. "Someone was in
here," he whispers to himself. "Why was someone in my office? And what
did they want?" The Tower's; Floor One; Andy & Nicholas'
Condo
"Please, Nicholas, help me understand?" Andy pleads
with Nicholas as they continue to stand next to one another in the living room
of the condo. "Why did you marry Clayton when today was supposed to be our
wedding day?" Nicholas sighs back to him. "It's complicated,"
he replies to him quickly. "I guess I realized that a part of me always did
care, and even love, Clayton. Seeing him earlier made me realize that."
"And so to hell with us? To hell with the wedding that we planned together?"
a devastated Andy asks him as tears fall down his cheek. "I am so
sorry," Nicholas feels his heart break in his chest. He hates that he has
to lie to Andy about this but he knows that Clayton is blackmailing him into doing
this. The last thing Nicholas wants is for Andy, and Madeline, to lose everything
because of the clause in Preston and Olivia's will. "I never meant to hurt
you." "Get out! " Andy yells at Nicholas through his tears.
"Get out of here and never come back, Nicholas!" "Andy
"
"GET OUT!" Andy yells at him, as Nicholas nods back to him and
then quickly leaves the condo. Once Andy hears the door close, he covers his mouth
and falls to the ground in a pool of tears. Next on One Day at a Time
