Barcode
Cory sits
at a table in the bar with a beer in front of him. He wanted to get out and have
a drink since he is dealing with Sophie being home and all of the drama surrounding
his daughter getting expelled from school since she was caught lying about being
on a sport team just to get a scholarship. The worst part, in his mind, is that
Sophie, seemingly, doesn't seem to understand that her actions were wrong.
He picks up his beer and takes a long sip as he wonders how he will be able
to get through to his daughter. While he does that, his mind moves over to Robin.
He immediately gets a smile on his face as he thinks about his former wife and
how they have been spending so much more time with one another recently. They
have always remained close since their divorce but lately, they have been spending
more time together than before and he can't help but think that he is starting
to have feelings for her again. He pulls out his cell phone from his
pocket and types a text to Robin. "Dinner at the Pink Flamingo in 30 min?"
He sets his phone down and takes another sip of his beer while he awaits
a response. He sees the screen light up with an incoming message, so he looks
at the message from Robin. "Sorry - another time. Having dinner
with Antonio tonight, xo." Cory sets the phone down and gulps heavily.
He hates the idea that Robin is going to have dinner with another man, further
confirmation that he must be developing feelings for his ex-wife all over again.
The Calimo Mansion
"I believe you when you say that Mom
didn't take the news well of you being kicked out of school very well," Jacob
nervously chuckles back to Sophie as they sit next to one another on the sofa
in the living room of the large mansion where they grew up. Sophie has just told
her older brother about the fact that she got expelled from school; she just hopes
that he is more sympatric than parents have been. "She can be pretty high
strung." "You should have seen them," Sophie rolls her
eyes back to him. "They made it seem like the end of the world. I mean, do
they think that school in Switzerland is the only boarding school? Ugh, it's just
so lame." "Well you did lie to try to get money Soph,"
Jacob reminds her of her actions. "It does seem like a pretty big deal."
"I get it," she sighs. "It's just
I feel like Mom and
my Dad don't understand me at all. And they aren't even trying to understand me,
you know?" "Do you think it would be better for you to come
back here to live? Maybe being with me, Uncle Robbie, Kim and Mom would be a good
thing for you?" "I mean, I could ask," Sophie replies
to him. "I've been staying at the penthouse because Dad thinks he can watch
me closer because Mom is so busy at Roboto." "I think you should
talk to them," Jacob suggests to her. "Having some more independence
might help them start to trust you again?" "Yea, I will do
that," Sophie nods to him. "Thanks Jacob. You know, the best thing about
being home is that we can hang out more often." "I couldn't
agree more," Jacob smiles back to his sister. "You will get through
this Soph, it's not the end of the world. Trust me on that, okay?"
The Glubbs House; Shane's Home
"I am so sorry that this is
taking longer than just a lunch date," Shane moves into the living room of
his house and passes Cassie a glass of red wine. "I didn't realize I needed
to run and grab all the ingredients for my fettuccini alfredo."
Cassie takes a sip of her wine before she looks at Shane, who sits next to her
on the sofa. "It's fine," she replies to him. "I just got a call
from Carter's nanny, and she is okay to stay with him a little while longer."
"That's good," Shane nods back to her. "I'm just glad you
didn't have more plans with Jacob tonight." "Ah, well, I don't
know if you heard but Sophie is back in town," Cassie reveals to him. "So
Jacob is spending time with his sister." "I hadn't heard that,"
Shane tells her. "But that's my son, always looking out for family first."
"Yea, he is good at that. He's amazing with Carter; a natural father."
"You know," Shane looks back into her eyes. "I was a lot of
like Jacob when I was his age; I was so scared about the idea of becoming a father,
but once I held him in my hands, it was all so natural. We are all born with that
instinct, I believe." Cassie purses her lips back to him. "You've
always been a great father to him. Jacob is lucky to have you, Shane."
"He's a great guy, I got lucky," Shane chuckles back to him. "This
is nice, Cassie. I had forgotten how easy you are to talk too. And, you're still
as beautiful as ever." Cassie chuckles back to him. "Well,
thanks. I guess it's been a long time since you've said anything remotely like
that to me." "Far too long," Shane says as he moves his
hand up to her cheek and caresses it. "Far too long." Before
she knows what he is doing, his lips are pressed against hers and they are sharing
a soft kiss and he quickly makes more passionate by sliding his tongue into her
mouth. The Tower's, Floor One; Andy & Nicholas' Apartment
"Well, I think everyone is pretty happy with our news that we are engaged,"
Nicholas tells Andy as they open the door to their condo. Earlier in the day,
they were celebrating with Madeline to ensure that she was okay with their news
since they know that she has been concerned with how Clayton would react. To his
surprise, Madeline was perfectly fine with the engagement and then Nicholas responded
to a text from Clayton telling him of the engagement. He realized after that,
maybe, he shouldn't have said anything but he can't undo it now. "Of
course they are," Andy smiles back to his fiancé. "We have been
through so much to get to this point, Nicholas. Anyone that isn't happy doesn't
deserve to be in our lives." Nicholas chuckles back to him. "That's
a good point." "I have to ask though," Andy looks over
at him. "Have you told Melissa the news yet?" Nicholas sighs
back to him as he thinks about his mother; he hasn't told her yet because he doesn't
know how she will react. "I haven't, but I will. I'm sure she will
be fine," Nicholas tells him as he moves up to Andy and kisses him. "How
about we stop talking about my mother and start focusing on each other?"
Andy chuckles. "Does focusing on each other mean that we are going to
the bedroom?" "Yes, yes it does," Nicholas swats Andy's
bottom before they rush off to the bedroom, eager to undress each other.
The Tower's, Floor Three; Madeline & Will's Condo
Madeline
pours herself a glass of wine before she moves over to her sofa where she sees
the novel that she is reading. After a long day, she is hoping to relax since
she doesn't have the night shift at the hospital. She is home alone because Will
is working, so she thought a glass of wine and her book would be the perfect way
to spend the evening, especially since she is trying to figure out her next move
with Will, as she overheard him having another dream of Eva the other day.
She sits down and takes a sip of her wine but before she can open her book,
she hears a knock on her door. "I wonder who that could be,"
she says as he slowly stands up and moves to the door. She opens the door and
gasps when she sees Clayton standing in the hallway. "Clayton? My God, what
are you doing here? I
I can't believe that you're back?" Clayton
flashes his smile to his sister before he leans in and hugs her. "I'm back,"
he tells her as they exit their embrace. "I heard about Andy and Nicholas
getting engaged; you all seriously didn't think that I would miss that wedding,
did you?" The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Lukas, Donovan, Logan
& Olly's Home
"You were away some time this afternoon, is
everything okay?" Lukas asks Donovan as he pours himself a scotch from the
bar in the living room of the house that he lives in with his husband, sister
and their children. Lukas recalls how he and Donovan had a fight earlier in the
day and then Donovan took off for a while. He just wants his husband to tell him
the truth about everything that has is happening between him and Jasper.
"Yea, everything is fine," Donovan lies to him as he knows that he left
because Jasper asked to see him. At their meeting, Jasper told Donovan that he
wouldn't plead guilty to the sexual assault charges; in retaliation, Donovan told
Jasper that he would call immigration on him as he knows that his former nanny
is in the country illegally. "I just needed some air." "Look,
I know we got rather heated earlier," Lukas looks back at his husband. "I'm
just trying to put all of these pieces together. It seems like there's a lot that
has happened from the time you got in the car accident to when you regained the
strength in your legs." "I suppose you're right," Donovan
nods back to him. "A lot did happen in those months, for both of us."
"See, here we ago again," Lukas sighs back to him. "Every
time we start talking, it feels like you start talking in code. I
I don't
think I can do this anymore, Donovan." "What the hell does
that mean?" Donovan huffs back at him. "I'm saying, you have
to tell me the truth, the entire truth," Lukas replies to him. "Or I'm
going to walk away from this marriage." Dominick's Townhouse
"Thank you for being so sweet to me," Felicia tells Abby, who passes
her a cup of tea while they sit next to one another in the living room of the
house that Abby shares with Dominick. Felicia knows that she and Abby haven't
always seen eye to eye, so she appreciates that Abby is being kind to her. After
everything that has happened the last few days, Felicia doesn't have the capacity
to be catty with Dominick's new wife. "Of course," Abby sits
next to her. "Dominick has shared with me everything that you went through
the last few days. I
I can't imagine how difficult this has been."
"No one has any idea because, well, it seems like no one believes me
with what happened." "Why don't you tell me? I haven't heard
your side of the story, yet," Abby tells her, as she thinks about how she
has to continue to drug Dominick to ensure he doesn't remember that Eva is alive
and well. Felicia sighs back to her. "I kept telling everyone that
Barbara was alive and well because I kept seeing her," Felicia tells her.
"But it wasn't Barbara at all." "Then who was it?"
"It was Eva," Felicia explains to her. "Frederick had Eva
dress up like Barbara to convince me to see him. It was all apart of his plan.
And Dominick knew! That's why he stopped the wedding." "Dominick
doesn't seem to remember that," Abby explains to her. "That's why we
just hope that you're doing okay, Felicia." "I am fine!"
Felicia firmly sets her glass of tea down. "I will be fine, I just need anyone,
somebody, to believe that I am telling the truth! Abby, please, you have to know
that I'm not crazy, okay? Eva is alive! Frederick conducted this entire plan!
Tell me that you believe me?" "We will figure this out,"
Abby forces a smile on her face as she wonders how she is going to deal with Felicia.
She can't have her running around telling everyone that Dominick knew the truth
about Eva because that could help spur his memory to come back. "I don't
know how, but I will figure this out, I can promise you that." Robertson
Enterprises
Tyler turns and looks at his father in shock at his suggestion
that his wife could still be alive. The last thing he expected from Dominick was
to ask if Eva could be alive. "No Dad," Tyler shakes his head
back to him. "It's impossible. Brooke stabbed so many people, including Eva,
there's no way Eva could be alive. You saw her; how could she have survived?"
"I know you're right," Dominick sighs back to him. "It's just
I
wish I could remember what happened! And if Frederick did brainwash me, he will
pay for it. I have to make sure he gets what's coming to him." "That's
fine," Tyler says. "But in the meantime, we still have to figure out
what to do with Mom. I'm worried about her, Dad. I mean, first she claimed Barbara
was alive; now, she's claiming that Eva is alive and was posing as Barbara. It's
the most insane thing I've ever heard!" "I know, I am concerned
as well. But I'm not sure what we can do, son." "I've been
thinking about something," Tyler admits to him. "Frederick is no longer
working at Raven's Meadow, so if ever there was a time for Mom to go back, it
would be now." Dominick opens his eyes wider in surprise. "You
want your mother to be checked into a mental facility again?" Tyler
uneasily nods back to him. "I think it's our only option; Mom needs to get
help before someone else gets hurt Dad." Next on One Day at a
