The Pampa Grill
Abby sits at a table in the restaurant swirling a glass of chardonnay in front
of her. Her mind is racing over the fact that she overheard Jacob give his notice
to Tyler earlier at Robertson Enterprises. Immediately after, Tyler told Jacob
that the timing wasn't great because Max has also given his notice to the company.
In Abby's mind, this is a great time for her to go to her stepson and ask him
to give her a position at the family company. After she met Ethan, she
has been thinking that she needs something passionate in her life. She loves how
he clearly loves to be a lawyer; the fact that he is easy on the eyes, is just
an added bonus of their new friendship. She smirks to herself as she thinks about
the night of the Roboto ball when she saw Ethan in a wet shirt; the slight image
of his muscular chest was a good view for her. "You look a million
miles away," a voice calls out causing Abby to look up and see her husband
sitting across from her. "What is my beautiful wife thinking about?"
Abby feels her cheeks flush as she realizes that she can't tell him that
she is thinking of a younger man. "To be honest with you," she says
before she takes a sip of her wine. "I was thinking about this entire situation
with Felicia." Dominick sighs back to her as he knows that he has
been worried about his ex-wife because at the ball a few nights earlier, she claimed
to have seen Barbara Mills, who has been dead for years. He only hopes that Felicia
hasn't had a setback with her on-going battle with mental illness. "I
am very concerned about her," Dominick replies to her quickly. "I am
worried that she is close to another mental break." "But Dominick,"
she sighs back to him. "Does this really have to be our problem? You and
I are newlyweds, we should be focused on the two of us. Felicia is a grown woman;
isn't she capable of taking care of herself?" "Felicia is the
mother of my child," Dominick reminds her. "I will always care about
her wellbeing, Abby. If she's having some sort of medical crisis, I will be there
for her. That is not something I will compromise on." "Great,"
Abby rolls her eyes as she takes a sip of her wine, annoyed that he is concerned
with Felicia. "Thanks for the talk then." ***
At another table, a stunned Nicholas sits across from his mother, Melissa, who
surprised him by arriving at his office earlier in the day. The last person that
Nicholas was thinking he would see today is his mother; he hasn't seen her in
ages and can't help but wonder what this visit is all about. "Are
you sure you don't want something other than sparkling water?" Nicholas looks
over at her with curiosity. "We could get wine or a cocktail, if you'd like."
"No, that won't be necessary," Melissa replies to her son quickly.
"I am driving over to the River Rock casino after this; I got a room there.
I don't want to drink and drive." "Why aren't you staying at
the mansion?" Nicholas asks her back. Melissa sighs back to him.
"I've decided to sell the property," she reveals to him. "I mean,
I'm based out of Boston and you and Andy Spinnes are living together, so why would
I keep that huge house?" "I suppose that's fair," Nicholas
nods back to her. "Maybe Robin wants to stay there?" "Robin
hasn't spoken to me in so many years, I can't imagine she'd want anything to do
with me." Nicholas uneasily chuckles back to her. "You have
done your share of scheming to keep Andy and I apart, Mom," Nicholas reminds
her. "So, I have to ask: why are you in town? What brings you to Twin Peaks?"
Melissa smirks back to him. "Is it so hard to believe that I just wanted
to come and see my son?" Nicholas arches his eyebrow back to her.
"I'm serious," Melissa tells him. "I have no agenda other than
check in on you, Nicholas. I am just a curious mother seeing how her son is doing.
So, start by telling me what's going on with you and Andy, and don't leave a single
detail out." The Calimo Mansion
"I know it's
been a while since we've caught up, but I can't believe that Clayton just up and
left town," Kim tells Andy as they sit together in the living room of the
large mansion that she lives in with Robbie and Natasha. Kim invited her brother
over for dinner so they could catch up since it had been a while since they saw
one another. "How are you and Nicholas feeling about that?"
Andy breathes a sigh of relief. "To be honest, it is the best thing that
could have happened," he admits to her. "Nicholas, Clayton and I, we
had become a mess and when Nicholas admitted that he still loved me and wanted
us to get back together, Clayton leaving just made that easier."
"I can't imagine that Madeline is happy that her brother just up and left
town?" "She's not," Andy reveals to her. "And, she
thinks that Nicholas is to blame for Clayton leaving. I am sure that she will
get over it, but I do find it unsettling when I still consider her family."
"Madeline will always be family considering your relationship with Reese,"
Kim reminds him. "You two are bonded forever." "Enough
of that," Andy chuckles back to her before he takes a sip of his water. "What's
going on with you? You're still filing for divorce with Robbie?"
"I've already filed the papers," she admits to him. "I'm just waiting
for Robbie to sign the papers." "Are you sure this is what
you want, Kim? You and Robbie have been through a lot together."
"We have," She nods back to him. "But every time I see him, I can't
help but think of the baby I lost. I don't know if I can get over that, Andy."
"Then I guess you are right in deciding to end your marriage. Just do
me a favor and make sure you're taking care of yourself, okay? These times are
never easy, and I don't want you to suffer as a result." The
River Rock Casino
Andrew wraps a towel around his waist as he exits
the washroom that is in his suite that he is staying at in the casino. He was
in the midst of a shower when he heard some rapid knocking on his door. He has
no idea could be in such a rush to see him, but he will find out. "Trey,"
he says as he opens the door and sees his lover standing in the hallway. "What
brings you by?" Trenyce quickly moves into his suite and then turns
around to look at him. "I had to see you," she admits to him, as she
can't help but notice his toned chest. "Could you get dressed please?"
Andrew moves back into the washroom and then emerges in a jeans and a white
tank top. "What's going on?" "The other night," Trenyce
looks at him with intent. "Are you sure you're not going to say anything?"
Andrew sighs back to her as he has been struggling with their affair; he
was so thrilled to, finally, get Trenyce in bed as their attraction had been building
for months, but immediately following their sex, she said it was a mistake as
she is recently engaged to Chris. "Of course, I won't," he
sighs back to her. "You made it clear that it was a mistake because of your
engagement to Chris." "I know, I just wanted to make sure,"
Trenyce admits to him. "I know what happened between us was building for
a while, Andrew, but it doesn't make it okay. I am in love with Chris."
"You were in love with my
" "Andrew!" Trenyce
cuts him off before he can finish his sentence. "Thank you for not saying
anything. I think, I know it will be best if we try to keep some distance between
us. We have to try to move on from this." Andrew uneasily nods back
to her. "Yea, of course," he manages to say back to her even though
it is killing him. "I won't say anything to ruin your engagement and future
marriage to Chris. I know how long you guys have waited for this, Trey. You have
my word." Trenyce nods back to him. "Thanks Andrew," she
bites her lip. "For what it's worth, I did enjoy our night together. It's
just
you know for years, I thought you were my son! This is insane!"
"I get it, I get it," he waves his hand. "You don't have to
say anymore." "Okay, I guess I'll see you around?"
"Yea, sure," Andrew replies to her as Trenyce quickly leaves the
room. Once Andrew is alone, he moves to the bar and pours himself a stiff gin
drink and takes a heavy gulp of it. "How the hell am I going to
get you out of my mind?" he asks himself as he takes another sip of his gin.
***
Downstairs, in the main floor of the casino there is a
restaurant called the Pink Flamingo. The restaurant is very high end and a place
for the patrons of the casino to get some nourishment and beverages of their choice.
At the lavish bar, Daisy sits with a mojito in front of her. She just left
the Richardson Estate, where she came face to face with Frederick for the first
time in years. The meeting ended with Leah demanding answers from Frederick about
her own paternity and the child she gave birth to in Santa Barbara years earlier.
Daisy, who is also dealing with the fact that she recently aborted her child,
had to leave to get some air. She found herself at the Pink Flamingo, not wanting
to go to the Pampa Grill where there was a higher likelihood of her running into
someone she knows. "My head is spinning," she whispers to herself.
"I need to get myself under control. No one knows about my baby, and no one
can ever know. And now, I must deal with Frederick. What the fuck? Before I saw
him today, I thought I would never see him again. Now, all the memories of Jemma's
rape are coming flooding back to me. My God, what am I going to do?"
"Well, the mysterious woman took me up on my offer," a voice chuckles
from behind Daisy. She slowly spins on her bar stool and sees Antonio standing
behind her. "We met the other night at the Roboto gala. I'm Antonio, the
owner of the casino." "I remember," Daisy replies to him
quickly. "I never did catch your name? You were so eager to leave
the party," he chuckles back to her. "Are you on duty?"
she asks him back. "I could use another drink? If you buy, I'll tell you
name." Antonio chuckles again to her. "I can squeeze in time
for a drink," he says as he sits next to her at the bar and orders two more
drinks from the bartender. "I'm Daisy Davenport," she says
as she finishes her drink. "But if you think you're going to get a life story
from me, I'm not an open book." Two drinks appear in front of Daisy
and Antonio. "I guess I got what you bargained for," he winks back to
her. "Your name for a drink. Well, cheers, Daisy Davenport, maybe this is
the start of a new friendship for both of us?" Roboto
"What is the latest with this damn lawsuit?" Robbie asks his sister
as he moves into the main office of Roboto. He knows he and Natasha must find
a way to prevent Tyler and Robertson Enterprises from succeeding in winning the
case because it could bankrupt Roboto, which they refuse to allow to have happen.
Natasha looks up from her computer and sighs back to him. "I wish I
had some answers," she admits to him as she stands up from the sofa. "I've
had our legal team go over it and the lawsuit is iron clad. I don't know what
we are going to do." "I do," Robbie tells her quickly.
"We need to hire the best lawyer we can find. Our legal team can only do
much." "You're right," Natasha nods back to him. "We
have someone that will battle against Ethan Alexander and Tyler. What about that
money that was donated to the hospital?" "I
called the hospital and it was donated by an anonymous party," Robbie replies
to her. "I thought about asking more questions, but I think the last thing
the company needs is more bad press that we donated money to a hospital only to
take it back?" "Ugh,"
Natasha groans realizing he is right. "What the hell are we going to do?
We could use that money!" Before Robbie can respond, the door to
the office opens and Jacob emerges. "Oh darling, come in. What brings you
by?" Natasha asks her son. "Is everything okay with Carter?"
"Yea, he's great," Jacob nods back to her. "I'm here because
of something Cassie has suggested to me." Natasha arches her eyebrow
as she recalls seeing her son dance with Cassie at the gala the other night. "What
did that woman say this time?" "She said I should quit working
at Robertson Enterprises and work here," Jacob reveals to Natasha and Robbie.
"And, I think she was right. So, I gave Tyler my notice and I am here looking
for a job." Natasha looks over at Robbie in surprise but finds herself
rushing up to Jacob and pulls him into a hug. "You have no idea how long
have been waiting for this," Natasha says to him. "Of course, you can
work here. You're officially hired!" The Richardson Estate; Meggan,
Lukas, Donovan, Logan & Olly's Home
Knowing that he is home alone,
Donovan walks towards the study that is on the second level of the mansion. He
loves these times when he is home alone because he can walk around instead of
being confide to his wheelchair. He knows that he must continue to pretend that
he can't walk so he can carry out his plan of revenge on Lukas and Jasper for
their affair. Once he is inside the study, he closes the door and quickly
moves to the bookshelf, where he can see the small camera that he put in the room.
He pulls it down and holds it for a moment. "Okay," he whispers
to himself. "It's time to see if you were jealous at seeing Jasper with another
man at the ball the other night. Did it get to you, Lukas? Were you so riled up
that you had to have our nanny again?" Donovan opens the camera
and looks at the various recorded footage that is on there. Finally, he freezes
the camera when he sees Jasper and Lukas engaging in sex on the sofa that is in
front of him. "You son of a bitch," Donovan glares at the camera
before he looks over at the sofa. "I knew I couldn't trust you. But don't
worry, I will get the last laugh. I will make you pay, I will make both of you
pay." The Tower's; Floor Eight; Victoria & Bryce's Condo
"You've been quiet today," Bryce notes to Victoria as they sit across
from one another in the living room of the condo that they share together. It
isn't like his wife to not be so talkative with him; he just hopes that Frederick
coming back isn't an issue for her too. "Is everything okay?"
"Not really," Victoria admits to him as she sets her coffee cup down
on the table next to her armchair that she is sitting in. "Everything is
just hitting me, you know?" "What do you mean, everything?"
"I mean," Victoria sighs back to him. "Everything that I went
through last year, Bryce. I checked myself into the Raven's Meadow because I thought
I had split again. Only to find out that Vinny was drugging me to make me believe
I had split. Then, you took over and you were drugging me all because Vinny was
blackmailing you about Frederick being your boss. It's all so much to handle,
you know?" "I know," Bryce looks back at her. "I
hope you know how sorry I am that I did that, Victoria. I hated hurting you, I
wish I could have stopped." "But you didn't stop," tears
fill in her eyes. "You kept drugging me until I stopped taking the medication.
That's how I got better." "If I could go back and do it all
over again, I would." "I get that," Victoria nods back
to him. "I guess Frederick coming back has made me realize that we never
actually spoke about this, Bryce. Because once you saved me from Frederick, you
were shot. It's been a whirlwind." "I love you," Bryce
tells her quickly. "I will spend the rest of my days trying to make this
up to you, Vic. I promise you that." "I do understand,"
she admits to him. "But now we still have Frederick to worry about. Do you
think he will come for you? Or want you to work for him again?"
"I can't answer that," Bryce tells her. "But I can promise you
that I want nothing to do with him. I want to stay as far away from Frederick
as possible." "Can you answer me one more thing?" she
asks him as they lock eyes. "Of course," he nods to her. "I
am an open book with you now, Victoria. No more secrets, I promise."
"Okay if you mean that," Victoria looks back at him. "Then
is there anything else you've been keeping from me? Do you have any other secrets
from your time working with Vinny and Frederick?" Bryce gulps heavily
as he thinks about helping Vinny with the baby switch and that Eva is alive. "No,"
he lies to his wife. "I have no other secrets." A tear falls
down Victoria's cheek as she pulls him into a hug. "Then let's start to move
on from this, okay? Let's bury this horrible part of our lives in the ground and
move forward." Next on One Day at a Time - Barbara reappears
