Scene One -- Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Waiting Room

Daisy and Brett sit next to each other waiting for some kind of news about Leah and Meggan. The two entered the operating room two hours ago to have the kidney transplant, they are expecting Shane to emerge at any time with news. Daisy looks at the man she believes is Vinny, he looks scared and is slightly pale. Daisy takes his hand causing him to look over at her. She smiles to him briefly.

“How are you holding up?” she finally breaks the silence that has encompassed the room. “Do you want some water or anything?”

He shakes his head no. “The waiting is killing me, but I’m okay. I have faith that Shane will have a successful surgery,” he replies taking a gulp from his water bottle.

“Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“I know this may not be the most appropriate time, but I still need answers,” Daisy replies to him looking at him with a glimmer of hope in her eye. She did want to wait for another chance to talk to him about Danielle’s death, but she couldn’t wait any longer. She needs to have answers. “Have you figured out who killed my sister?”

Brett sighs. He knows that he promised Daisy he would look into it for her, but he has been so wrapped up with Dave, and then Meggan’s trial and now the kidney transplant that he hasn’t continued his search.

“I’m so sorry Daisy, I haven’t really continued my search. With everything that has been going on with Meggan I just haven’t …”

“Hey, no need to explain, I understand,” Daisy reassures him, even though she wants to scream inside. She hates that some where Danielle’s killer is out there free.

“I promise, I’ll look into it as soon as I know Meggan’s okay. Sound fair?”

“Absolutely.”

Scene Two -- The Wilkins Estate; Preston, Olivia & Reese’s Home

Reese allows the hot water from the rain-shower head to fall on his body. He needs the hot water to clean him. He feels dirty. He feels so … incomplete. He feels his eyes swell with water as the steam fills the room. His life has done a complete turn around in the last few months. It seems he was so happy just a short while ago; his relationship with Andy was on the verge of being official and his family was reunited after Madeline came home. Now, Andy is engaged to Trenyce and they are expecting a baby making Reese believe that he was being used by Andy as an experiment, his family is at odds because Madeline revealed the truth that his parents were bank robbers when they were younger, and he has been sleeping around with men to try to get over some of the pain he feels inside.

He wishes he could go back and erase the last few months of his life. He wishes he could feel complete again. He knows however that he is far away from feeling complete anymore. As a tear falls from his eyes he knows what he has to do to move on; he has to take the next step in his life.

He quickly recalls Derek randomly telling him that there was a new position opening up at Bar Code, the gay bar in Twin Peaks. “A go-go dancer quit last week, you’d be great,” Derek had said. At the time Reese thought Derek was insane, but the more he thought about it the more Reese has grown to like the idea. He can go to the bar, see hot men and dance to his pain away each night. What more could he ask for right now? He wonders. Something, anything is better than nothing.

He shuts the water off in the shower wanting to go to the club before it opens so he could talk to the manager about getting the go-go dancer position.

Scene Three -- City Hall; Daisy’s Office

Trenyce opens the door to her Aunt’s office and quickly realizes that she is no where to be found. She quickly recalls seeing Terrence at the hospital earlier in the day and knows that it must be trouble. She remembers Terrence all to well from Detroit and knows hat he must be up to no good if he is back. She wonders why is he is back in her life after all this time. After all her mother has been dead for over a year now. She shakes her head and places her hand on her large belly. Being 8 months pregnant she knows that she shouldn’t get too stressed out over anything but the thought of Terrence being back in her life scares her to the core.

She sits on the large sofa in the office for a moment after she pours a tall glass of water. She quickly checks her phone and she quickly realizes that Daisy is probably still at the hospital dealing with the kidney transplant. She stands up getting ready to leave, deciding that she’ll go see Andy. Suddenly, the office door opens and Terrence enters the building.

“Terrence, what are you doing here?” Trenyce asks quickly, not wanting him to pick up on any fear that she has around him.

“I could ask you the same thing Trenyce. This isn’t your office,” he grins at her, even though he knows that he his smile probably won’t work on the young lady.

“I was waiting for my Aunt. She’s not here though, so you can leave,” Trenyce says chalking up her attitude as per usual.

“You can lose the attitude with me Trenyce. You’re not fooling anyone.”

Trenyce turns around and glares at him. “What do you want from me? Huh? Why are you back in my life? I thought you went away when …”

Terrence looks at Trenyce; she reminds him so much of Danielle when she gets mad and feisty. He grins. “What? When your mother died?”

Trenyce gasps in shock that he would speak of her mother that way. “How dare you speak of her like that! You … you loved her!”

Terrence laughs knowing very well that Trenyce is telling the truth, a rare moment for the young woman. “Your mother and I were close … so close. But you know how that ended.”

Trenyce turns and looks away from him. She begins fighting tears in her eyes. She knows all too well how her mother’s relationship with Terrence ended, when he discovered her affair with Chris.

“Your dear uncle Chris couldn’t keep his hands off her. Your mother betrayed me. She betrayed our deal!” Terrence says calmly to Trenyce, almost remembering it as it speaks.

“Did you love her at all? You make it seem like all you were was a partnership! I hate that you guys wanted to destroy Daisy’s life,” Trenyce replies to him. Trenyce shuts her eyes and remembers that night in Detroit. The night where Terrence agreed to help Danielle take over Daisy’s life. Trenyce remembers sitting on the stairs, her mother thought she was in bed already. Loud thunder banged outside as the rain came down hard and fast. Terrence and Danielle each had a glass of wine in their hands.

[Flash]

“You just don’t know how bad it was with her,” Danielle says full of anger as she takes a drink of the wine. “My parents thought she was the perfect daughter. And I, I was left out in the cold time and time again. They never loved me. It was Daisy this and Daisy that.”

Terrence looks over and grabs Danielle’s hand. “That’s in the past now babe. You have me now. I’ll help you reach your goals.”

Danielle smiles back at him, a wicked look emerges in her eyes. “You wouldn’t help me reach my goal. What I really want is unthinkable…”

Terrence arches his eyebrow. “I’ll never know unless you tell me what you’re thinking.”

“I’d thought you’d never ask,” Danielle purrs. “I want to make Daisy pay the way she made me pay. And I have the perfect idea.”

[Flash]

Trenyce shakes her head coming back to present time. “Why did you ever agree to help my mother take over Daisy’s life? You know none of this would have happened …”

Terrence walks up to Trenyce and looks at her. “I know. I have my reasons Trenyce. It was business.”

Trenyce laughs at him. “Business? Ruining peoples lives is business?”

“You don’t understand. Caldwell Industries has been in my family for generations. Expanding into resorts is the logical next step for the company. Your mother agreed to help me with that when she was mayor of Twin Peaks. The position Daisy has now.”

“So that’s why you’re back in my life? To carry out this plan of yours to open this ski resort?”

“Yes. I don’t want any harm with you Trenyce. I still care for you very deeply,” he says coming closer to her and putting his hands on her shoulders.

“Don’t touch me! I didn’t trust you when you were dating my mother and sure as hell don’t trust you now!”

“Calm down, I don’t want you to upset your baby. Yours and Chris’ baby,” Terrence winks at her, shocking her that he knows the truth about her pregnancy.

“Leave me alone!” Trenyce says as she grabs her bag and rushes out of the office. As the office door slams behind her, Trenyce grabs her stomach. She takes a deep breath to collect herself. She knows what she has to do. She has to find Andy … slowly she can feel her walls closing in on her.

Scene Four -- Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Waiting Room

Shane slowly walks into the waiting room absolutely exhausted. After a 2 ½ hour procedure, he feels the effects of the surgery himself. However, he knows he has to deliver the news to Leah and Meggan’s families regarding the surgery. He immediately sees the families stand and approach him.

Robbie’s eyes meet Shane’s as soon as Shane enters the waiting room. Robbie tries to read the doctor’s face to see what the outcome is, but he is unable too. “What’s the word? How’s Leah?”

Shane takes a breath quickly. “The surgery was a success. Leah is alive and well and functioning with Meggan’s kidney.”

The Calimo’s breathe a sigh of relief. Brett looks at Shane scared of how Meggan is doing. He knows that she went in to donate, but he knows that the surgery can be risky for the donor as well. “And Meggan? How is she?”

“She’s fine. Resting comfortably, but she’ll make a full recovery. She was very brave Vinny, you should be proud of her.”

Brett feels a small tear form in the corner of his eye. He is proud of Meggan, he only wishes he could do something that would make her proud of him.

“Can I see Leah?” Dominick asks aloud as the tension seems to ease in the waiting room.

“She’s still sleeping right now, but yes visitors are allowed. Just keep it to one or two at a time. If you’ll excuse me now,” Shane says as he turns around.

“Shane,” Robbie calls out before the doctor leaves. “Thank you.”

“Anytime.”

Scene Five -- Bar Code; The Backroom

Reese enters the back room of the bar. In the room, there is a large mirror on the wall and a table in front of it. There are three bar stools for people to sit on. The table is covered in make up and pen markings. In the far corner, there are boxes that look like they have sparkled fabric in every colour as well as some various holiday themed decorations.

“The drag queens get ready back here before their shows,” the manager tells Reese. “Sorry about the mess. So Ryan told me about you. Said you’re a pretty good guy and that you play volleyball.”

“Yea, I won the State Championships last year,” Reese says proudly not realizing his new friends spoke so highly of him.

“Take your shirt off kid. My go-go boys have to be hot. People pay good money to come see studs, not losers!”

Reese blushes and gulps. He unbuttons his polo before pulling it over his head. His young, smooth, toned chest impresses the older gay men who slowly licks his lips.

“Yes, yes. Very nice. So you want the job?” he asks as he puts his glasses back on. Reese nods. “Good you’ll start tonight. Wear white briefs. That’s all you’ll need!”

Scene Six -- Twin Peaks General Hospital; Meggan’s Room

Kim enters the hospital room. She looks at Meggan and feels at ease for some reason. She isn’t related to either Meggan or Leah, but she has known them both for so long she feels at ease knowing that both of them are going to survive this terrible situation. She looks behind her as she feels a presence and she sees Robbie. He smiles at her.

“You must have read my mind,” he says softly to her. “You wanted to thank Meggan too?”

“Exactly,” Kim says as they enter the hospital room together.

Meggan stirs in her bed and slowly opens her eyes. She sees Kim and Robbie standing in her room. She smiles a little. “Hey guys. What’s up?”

Kim smiles moving to her side. “We wanted to come see how you’re doing? How do you feel?”

“A little sore, but I’ll survive,” Meggan says back to her. “Thanks for coming to see me. I honestly didn’t think anyone cared.”

Robbie goes behind Kim and takes Meggan’s hand. “We care Meggan. What you did was so amazing. I don’t think I can ever thank you enough for saving Leah’s life.”

Meggan turns her head to the other side, her eyes fill with water. She never meant to save Leah’s life, but she does think that it’s fitting that the woman that was so bent on putting her away is the woman that she saved.

“I never meant for any of this to happen,” she says slowly. “I just…”

“I know Meggan. We all know. Maybe this will open Leah’s eyes to new possibilities,” Robbie replies to her.

She turns and smiles at them. “Maybe, who knows?”

Brett slowly enters the room and looks at Meggan. He feels his heart rate slowly down considerably as he can see for himself that Meggan is safe and sound. He was worried, even after Shane told him that she was safe, that Meggan was still badly hurt.

“Am I interrupting?” he asks putting his hands in his pockets.

“Not at all, we were just leaving,” Kim says standing up and smiling. “We’ll see you soon, okay?”

Meggan nods as Kim and Robbie leave the room. Brett moves over to her side and hugs her, finally letting some tears out. It feels good to release them as he has been keeping them bottled up for the past couple hours while she was in the surgery.

“I’m so glad you’re okay,” he whispers in her ear as he wipes his eyes.

“It’s not often you cry,” she smiles back at him as they exit the embrace. “I’m glad I’m okay too. I’ll be fine.”

“I only cry because I care Meggan. Never forget that, okay?” he tells her as he looks into her eyes.

“Okay. Are you okay?”

Brett nods. “Move over, let me come into bed with you. I don’t want to miss a single moment of being with you.”

Together they lay in the hospital bed, holding each other. Brett is careful not to put Meggan in an uncomfortable position as she did just get out of surgery. They lay in silence enjoying each other’s closeness.

Scene Seven -- Roboto, The Lab

Robin looks over her most recent sales figures from ‘Introspect’. She looks at her phone just to see if there are any updates from the hospital. She had to come into the lab just to do some work as it was starting to pile up. She smiles as she knows that her last cologne brought her and Cory together at last as they made love at the photo shoot last fall. She continues to get lost in the numbers in front of her as she thinks how great her life has become. Suddenly something starts to bother her; the woman Eva McCloud at her father’s house. Why does that name sound so oddly familiar to her? She shakes her head as she hears the doors slide open to her lab. She turns and sees Bob entering the lab.

“Bob, hi. What’s going on?” she asks still sitting at her desk.

Bob sits across from her and quickly glances at the file open on her desk. While he knows that Sofia hasn’t always gotten along with Robin, he appreciates her for the wonderful chemist that she is. He has always found it easy to separate the business world from the personal relationships. And now that Cory and Natasha have ended their relationship, he sees absolutely no issue with Robin.

“Looking over the latest ‘Introspect’ numbers, I see,” he replies to her.

“Yea, clearly it’s time I release my next fragrance. The numbers are slowly going down. I have that new men’s cologne that I have been working on Bob. Do you think it’s time?” Robin asks him point blank.

“Have you come up with a name for the new scent?”

“Not yet. I was hoping to get yours and marketing’s input. I want it to be something completely different than ‘Introspect‘. This one is more sexy and fun than ‘Introspect‘.”

“I couldn’t agree more. We’ll have a meeting tomorrow about the name and bottle? I do have one suggestion though,” Bob says moving his eyes from the file to hers. Robin arches her eyebrow. “I want you to model in the campaign. With a male model, of course. You’re a beautiful young woman. It’ll bring us so much attention,” he tells her.

Robin looks at her in shock. Never did she think she would be a model for Roboto, yet along the scene that she created. She’s beyond flattered that he would ask her such a thing. “I don’t know Bob, I’m not a model.”

“But you certainly could pass for one. At least think about it?” he smiles at her.

Before she can answer, her blackberry starts buzzing. She picks it up and reads a text message from Cory telling her that Leah and Meggan are out of surgery.

“Leah and Meggan are out of surgery. We should get over to the hospital,” she tells him as she closes the file on her desk. Suddenly it dawns on her, however. The name Eva McCloud, she knows why the name is familiar. She looks at Bob as he gets ready to leave for the hospital. She remembers him talking to Sofia on New Year’s Eve outside of Capers … about Eva being Natasha’s real mother, not Sofia. Robin gulps and fakes a smile at her boss. “Ready?” she asks as they leave together.

Scene Eight -- Bar Code; The Backroom

Reese looks in the mirror and looks into his eyes. He looks away not wanting to see what is in front of him. The man he has become embarrasses him to some extent. He wishes he was at home, cuddling on the sofa with Andy watching some cheesy romantic comedy. He shakes his head, scolding himself knowing that Andy was using him.

“Never again,” he whispers to himself as he takes off his shirt. He stands up and takes off his pants, exposing his naked body except for this tight, white briefs that he was instructed to have on by the bar manager.

The door to the back room opens and another young guy enters the back room.

“What’s up?” he asks as he drops his bag.

“Just getting ready. It’s my first night as a dancer,” Reese says looking back into the mirror and checking his hair.

“Cool. I’m a go-go dancer too. I’m Kyle,” he smiles at Reese. “Those are hot briefs.”

Reese blushes. “Thanks.”

Reese can’t help but watch was Kyle removes his clothes. Beneath his jeans are white briefs as well. Reese gulps when he sees the natural bulge in his briefs.

“Look, don’t mind me. I usually need a pick me up before I go out there,” Kyle winks at Reese.

“Oh yea? What kind of pick me up?” Reese asks, naïve about the situation.

Kyle laughs thinking Reese is playing with him. Reese is some what mortified when Kyle lays out a line of white powder on the table. He quickly sorts it up his nose. Kyle shakes his head afterwards. “You want a line man? It’ll help you keep some energy out there.”

Reese looks at the toned man in front of him. He knows his entire life he has been told that drugs are bad for you. From his parents, both of whom are in the profession where drugs are illegal; from his volleyball coaches. But where has that got him? His parents have been lying to him his entire life.

“Sure,” Reese says quickly wanting to escape his mess of a life.

“Nice,” Kyle replies as he watches Reese do a quick line of the white powder. Reese stands up and shakes his head. It takes him a moment for everything to settle in. Soon, the world is spinning, and Reese feels on top of the world. His eyes become fixed on Kyle. “What are you looking at?”

“What do you think?” Reese grins, high as a kite.

Kyle grins. He walks over and locks the back door. “This is usually what happens before we dance, by the way.”

“Good,” Reese says as he places his hands on the wall and Kyle comes up from behind him kissing him hard.

Scene Nine -- The Sugarbowl

Trenyce enters the coffee house, shaken the core. He conversation with Terrence was more than she can handle. She hates the fact that he is back in her life and trying to mess with her. He knows that Chris the father of her baby! How is this possible? She asks herself. She always has known that he has had connections, but the thought of him watching her every move scares her to the core of her being. Her eyes quickly spot Andy in the back corner booth. She walks over to him and sits across from him.

“What’s up? You sounded scared on the phone,” he says to her as she shuffles into the booth.

“I’m fine. I just think … I think we should get married soon. The baby is due soon and I would feel better knowing that we are married that the judge won’t take him or her away from me,” Trenyce says looking away from Andy. She knows if she looks him in the eye he may catch on that something is seriously wrong with her.

Andy grabs her hand. “If that’s what you want, we can do that. I would like to make sure the baby stays with you too.”

“Stays with us Andy! Remember you are the father,” she says to him in a stern voice.

Andy looks at her. He wishes he could undo all this damage that he has done. He wants nothing more than the truth to come out so he can explain everything to Reese and he can go back to being the guy that was about to come out to everyone so he could be with his love.

“Yea, right,” he says.

“You’re not having second thoughts are you?” she says pouting her lips out.

“Of course not. Let’s do it.”

Trenyce breathes a sigh of relief, although she sees a sadness in Andy’s eyes. She quickly tells herself that she’ll be honest with Andy as soon as they are married. She’ll tell him that she knows he is gay and that he gave up Reese for her. She wishes she could tell him sooner, but she has to ensure that her baby is safe away from Chris and Terrence.

Scene Ten -- Twin Peaks General Hospital; Leah’s Room

Jeff sits at Leah’s side as it was his turn to visit her. She still sleeping from the surgery, but Shane told everyone that Leah could awake at any time. After Dominick and Robbie had their visit, they agreed to let Jeff go in and see Leah. He grabs her hand and feels so much relief inside knowing that he made the right decision about letting Meggan donate her kidney to save Leah’s life.

“I hope you understand,” he says as he holds her hand. As he says the words to her, Leah begins to stir in her sleep. Jeff looks up and sees her slowly open her eyes.

“Leah!?” he says in amazement that she is waking up! “Oh my goodness! I’m so glad you’re awake.”

Leah, still a little groggy, looks at Jeff and tries to smile. She opens her mouth but nothing comes out.

“No, no, don’t speak. Just know that I’m so glad you’re alive. I’m so glad you woke up! You have no idea how much I’ve missed you and how much I’ve prayed for you.”

Robbie and Kim open Leah’s door and see her awake. Robbie quickly rushes over to his wife’s side. He has never felt so relieved in his entire life. His love has woken up!

“Leah, you’re awake! Thank God!”

“I’ll leave you guys alone,” Jeff says quickly standing up. Robbie doesn’t even bat an eye as Jeff walks. His attention solely remains on Leah.

Jeff arrives outside the hospital room and looks back. He sees Robbie give Leah a quick kiss on the lips as he talks to her. He puts his head down. He aches to be the one by Leah’s side.

“Can I talk to you for a moment?” Kim asks approaching him. It has pained her to see the reaction from Jeff during Leah’s ordeal. She knows that he is still in love with her; it’s written all over his face.

“Sure. What’s going on?” he asks, looking at her for a quick moment then turning back to see what’s going on in Leah’s hospital room.

“It’s over Jeff,” Kim says trying not to cry. She wants to be strong and end the relationship, not cave in into his big blue eyes. “I think our relationship has run its course.”

Jeff immediately looks at Kim. He can see her tremble a little. He looks away. “I’m sorry you feel that way.”

Kim rolls her eyes and quickly scolds herself for thinking that he would try to make things better. “I’m sure you are. I know this is where you need to be right now, so I’ll give you a week to get your things out of my condo.”

Jeff turns to her and smiles. “Thanks. I appreciate that.”

Kim is about to turn away and leave but something pulls her back. “For what it’s worth Jeff, I did love you. I didn’t want it to come to this.”

Jeff smiles back at her for a moment then turns again. “I know.”

Scene Eleven -- Capers

Daisy enters the busy restaurant and walks up to the bar. She is scheduled to have a late meeting with Terrence regarding the ski resort back at her office, and she thought she would pick up some take out since she has been at the hospital for the past couple of hours with Vinny. The bartender tells her that her order isn’t ready yet, so Daisy begins to sit at the bar. Her eyes happen to wonder across the restaurant and she soon sees Chris and Victoria sitting together at a table. She smirks thinking that it’s only fitting that Chris would move on quickly from their failed marriage; after all he did cheat, twice, while they were married. She quickly thinks back to her conversation with Vinny earlier in the day at the hospital. He promised her he would look into Danielle’s death once Meggan was released from the hospital. She quickly wonders if Chris killed Daisy. While she never would have believed Chris to be a killer, she thinks that it makes perfect sense to her now. Chris was sleeping with Danielle; she got pregnant and wanted a commitment, so he disposed of her. She hates thinking this of someone she was once so close too, but his actions have made her not trust him at all.

Before she realizes what she is doing, she is approaching his table. Victoria sees her coming and tells Chris. By the time Daisy is there, Victoria is drinking some of her wine. “Sorry to interrupt you Victoria, but this couldn’t wait,” Daisy says as she looks at Victoria then she shifts her eyes to Chris.

“What’s going on Daisy?” Chris asks her looking over at Victoria for a quick second.

“I just want you to know that I’m looking into Danielle’s death … and I will find out if you had anything to do with it. I guess I wanted you to have the chance to come clean before I learn the truth on my own,” Daisy announces.

Victoria practically chokes on her wine after hearing Daisy’s proclamation.

“Excuse me?” Chris replies taken aback. “Do you even …”

“Wait, let me Chris,” Victoria chimes in. “Daisy, you’ve said what you’ve come, now leave. Chris is not a killer. For someone who was married to him, you really have no clue who or what this man is. Now, if you don’t mind we were in the middle of dinner.” Victoria returns her focus to Chris. “Where were we?”

“This isn’t over,” Daisy says as she looks at Chris before walking away.

“Thank you,” Chris says to Victoria looking at her.

“You cheated on an absent wife. You didn’t kill her sister. She’s clearly not taking the separation well,” Victoria remarks.

“You’re amazing, you know that?” Chris smiles at her, grabbing her hand. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

“You’ll never find you. I’m not going anywhere,” Victoria says leaning in closer to him. Before either one of them realize it, they are sharing a soft kiss across the table with each other. They pull back for a moment, wondering if they should continue. They smile at each other and continue their kiss.

Scene Twelve -- The Wilkins Estate; Preston, Olivia & Reese’s Home

Reese opens the door to his bedroom. His high is wearing down. He can remember dancing on the top of the cage in his underwear for two solid hours as the bar filled up and the gay boys danced. He doesn’t remember the night ending or walking home though. He is glad to be home however. He strips off his clothes until he is naked and crawls into his bed. The satin sheets feel good against his body. He remembers Kyle and him having sex in the back room. Kyle was rough, and he feels some pain. Reese sighs.

He wishes Andy was next to him. He feels his eyes swell and he cuddles his pillow. “Why did things have to be this way?” he whispers to himself as more tears flow from his tears.

As more tears flow from his eyes, Reese continues to wonder why his life continues to spiral out of control, not realizing that he could be the one changing everything for the better.
