The Pampa Grill

"How are you holding up? And, don't lie to me because I can tell when you are lying," Dawn slyly smirks over to Cheresa as they sit across from one another in the restaurant with a bottle of pinot noir on the table. "Abby remembering that she was the one who killed Brooke, not Greg, must have been jarring for you."

Cheresa takes a sip of her wine before she looks back at her girlfriend. "It has been difficult to understand," she admits to her. "I have tried to be nothing but supportive of Abby because she walked in on our mother trying to kill our father. I can't imagine what that did to her. Now, we just want to try to start fresh, you know? I don't know how, exactly, but we want to put our family together and mourn Shelley, Brad, Albertinah, Eva and even Brooke."

"You know that I'm here for you, right?" Dawn asks back. "I know you wanted to be with your family during the trial, but I am here for you, okay?"

"I know you are," Cheresa says back to her. "I love you so much for that, Dawn. You're my rock."

"I love you too," Dawn takes a sip of her wine. "Now, tell me how it went with Roboto and Robertson Enterprises?"

Cheresa chuckles back to her. "Well, funny you should mention that," she continues to grin ear to ear. "Both contracts were pretty amazing. They are with our lawyer now; I wanted his opinion before I made my decision."

"Did you get a feeling about which company you are leaning towards?"

"I am," Cheresa admits to her. "But, I want to keep that to me until Josh Levitt has reviewed the contract. I am just really excited because I feel like this is my way to move on from this nightmare we have been living in. It feels like it could be the start of a new era."

Dawn reaches over and grabs her hand. "I couldn't agree more," she smiles back to her girlfriend. "And Cheresa, I am so proud of you."

The Pampa Grill

"Okay, so what did she say?" Natasha asks as she moves into entrance of the restaurant. She is on the phone with Robbie wanting an update on his meeting with Cheresa that he had earlier in the day with Kim where they offered her a modelling job at Roboto; she just hopes that her brother was able get Cheresa to sign the contract so they can move forward with their new campaign. "I guess that makes sense," she continues to say as she arrives at the table where Tyler is sitting at.

"As soon as you hear back, you let me know? We need to land this Robbie," she says as she looks at Tyler, noting to him that she will only be a minute longer. "Okay, chat soon."

She puts her phone down before she looks back at her lover. "Sorry about that," she tells him quickly. "We are close to landing a new model at Roboto and I'm so excited by it."

Tyler arches his eyebrow back to her as he thinks back to his meeting earlier in the day. "I actually heard about that."

"You did?" Natasha asks him in surprise. "How do you know what's going on with Roboto?"

"I happen to offer Cheresa Lawson a similar job today," Tyler reveals to her. "She told me that Roboto offered her a job too. It looks like we are gunning for the same model."

Natasha uneasily smiles back to him, making her realize that she and Tyler truly are working to outdo each other on a daily basis. She has no idea what this means for their relationship because they are both dedicated to their jobs, but she realizes that it might impact them on some level.

"I see," she purses her lips together. "Well, then may the best company win."

The Park

Helen jogs along the pathway in the park as she is trying to clear her head from everything that Shane told her about earlier in the morning: Robin has agreed to marry him, which means that her plan to break up Robin and Adam has officially worked. She almost can't believe that her plan did work; she wasn't sure what was going to happen but for everything to have worked out so perfectly, she is on cloud nine. Now, she realizes that she has to find a way to reunite with Adam. Then everything truly be perfect.

She slows her pace down when she sees Adam sitting on a bench that is overlooking the river. She looks at her ex-husband and wonders if he knows about Robin's decision to marry Shane. She moves up to him.

"Adam, hey," she says as she takes a swig of her water bottle. "What are you doing?"

Adam uneasily looks back at Helen before he returns his focus to the river. "I came here to think, that's all. How's your run?"

"It's been pretty good," she replies to him as she moves next to him on the bench. "I want to do as much running outside before winter comes back. Before you know it, fall will be here…"

"I don't even want to think about that," he tells her.

"Me either. You seem blue? What's up?"

Adam chuckles back to her. "You know me so well, don't you?"

"That's what happens when you have years of being in each other's lives," she reminds him before they lock eyes. "So, tell me, what is going on? Why do you look like you've lost your best friend?"

Adam sighs back to her as he thinks about his visit from Robin earlier when she revealed that she is marrying Shane. Adam still can't believe that Robin is actually going to marry him; it is bad enough that she caved into his threats of moving in with him or he would sue for custody of Dominique. While he gets that Robin wants the best for her daughter, he believes this will hurt her in the long run.

"You won't believe what has happened now," he finally replies to her. "Robin is marrying Shane. She told me this morning."

Helen tries to act surprised by his words. "I…I'm speechless."

"I know, I was pretty taken aback myself," Adam reveals to her. "It's bad enough that she moved in with him but to marry him? I have no idea what she is thinking right now."

"Maybe," Helen puts her hand on his shoulder to comfort him. "This is a sign that you need to move on from Robin. Maybe you two were never meant to be together?"

"Maybe?" Adam sighs back to her. "But, this still hurts like hell because I love her, Helen. I really love that woman."

Helen rests her head on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry that this is happening to you," she whispers back to him. "If there's anything I can do, I'm here for you Adam. Always know that I'm here for you."

The Glubbs House; Shane & Robin's Home

"I take it that you saw Adam this morning?" Shane asks Robin as she moves down the stairs of the house that they live in together. He knows that she was just checking on Dominique, who is likely having her afternoon nap after her midday feeding.

"I just got back from seeing him a short while ago," she replies to him. "As soon as I got home, I went up to see Dominique. She just had her lunch."

"And, she went back to sleep?"

Robin nods back to him. "She ate and then fell asleep in my arms. I still can't believe how big she is getting."

"Every day she gets better," Shane smiles back to her. "So, how did it go with Adam? Did you tell him about the wedding?"

She sighs heavily as she recalls how upset Adam was to hear that she has agreed to marry the father of her child. But, deep down Robin knows that this is the best thing for her and daughter.

"I told him," she finally replies to him. "And, he was how you'd expect him to react. He was devastated Shane. I don't think I will ever be able to get the look on his face out of my head."

Shane comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders. "You're not having second thoughts, are you?"

"No, I know this is the right thing for Dominique," she tells him as she turns around and looks into his eyes.

"I'm glad you feel that way," Shane says looking back into her eyes. "Because, I know I can make you happy, Robin."

He leans in and is about to kiss her when she pulls back from him. "I'm doing this for our daughter Shane," Robin reminds him. "Right now, I'm not interesting in kissing you. I still love Adam, I'm just trying to do the right thing."

Shane uneasily nods back to her. "Okay, that's fine. Just know that I am head over heels in love with you and I will do whatever I can to make you happy, Robin."

The Davenport House; Trenyce & Andrew's Home

"Can I get you anything?" Andrew asks Trenyce as he moves into the living room of the house he is living in with Trenyce, who is laying on the sofa. He knows that she had a medical appointment the day before but he hasn't had a chance to see her since she got home; he just hopes that everything is okay with her and her unborn child.

"No, I'm fine," Trenyce sits up on the sofa. "How was your breakfast with Brett?"

Andrew moves to the arm chair and sits down before he looks back at her. "Oh it was fine," Andrew tells her. "We just caught up, it was nice to see him."

"That's good," Trenyce replies to him quickly. "I'm glad that you have him to lean on."

"How did it go at the hospital yesterday? I was thinking about you."

Trenyce smiles back to him. "You're sweet," she tells him. "And, it was fine. I was told that I have relatively high blood pressure so I have to take it easy, no stress and the worst part: no sweets."

Andrew chuckles back to her. "Well don't worry, I'll make sure these last few months of pregnancy are stress free. Anything you need from me, I'm here for you, okay?"

Trenyce nods back to him. "I don't know how I will ever thank you, Andrew."

"No thanks required."

The Pampa Grill

"I'm glad you both could meet me," Greg says as he sits across from Cheresa and Abby at a table in the restaurant.

"I was here with Dawn earlier, so it was no big deal," Cheresa replies to her father. "What has happened now? You're not in more trouble for lying about killing Mom are you?"

"Oh God, please tell me that's not the case," Abby groans back to her family. "I just want to start my community service at Raven's Meadow and put this all behind us."

Greg looks back at his daughter's. "I'm not in more trouble, no," he replies to them. "I just came from the bank to make some payments on the outstanding IRS balance that Brooke left us."

"How did that go?" Abby asks him in concern.

Greg sighs back to them. "Not great, I have to admit," he reveals to his daughters. "Brooke owed over 10 million dollars; by the time I paid my court fine and liquidated assets to pay the IRS, we aren't left with a lot of savings."

"What are you saying?" Cheresa asks him. "We are broke?"

Greg gulps heavily. "I'm afraid so."

"Ugh, I can't deal with this right now," Abby moans as she collects her things. "I have to get to Raven's Meadow for my first community service meeting! We have to talk about this more later; we can't be broke, I don't think that's fair to any of us!"

Greg and Cheresa watch her storm away from the table. "We have to work hard and we will be okay," Greg looks back at Cheresa. "Things might change but we will make it."

***

Abby storms through the restaurant as she heads towards the exit. She feels her heart racing at the thought of being broke; after everything that has happened, the last thing that she wants is to not have the cushion that she is accustomed too.

"I can't think about this, I have to get to my community service," she whispers to herself.

"Abby," a voice calls out from the bar.

Abby stops and sees Dominick sitting by himself at the bar. "Mr. Robertson, hi," Abby smiles to him as she approaches the bar. "I'm afraid I don't have a lot of time right now. I'm running a tad late for a meeting."

"I won't keep you," Dominick replies to her quickly. "I just wanted to let you know that I read about the trial and wanted to say that I am sorry; I can't imagine what you went through but I do sympathize with what you went through."

"I really appreciate that," Abby nods back to him. "Believe it or not, not everyone is as forgiving as you."

Dominick chuckles back to her. "I can imagine, but you did what you had to do. I don't think you should be punished for that."

"Funny you should say that," she tells him. "I'm on my way to my first community service term now. It's at Raven's Meadow; I have no idea what I will be doing there, but I am determined to do a good job."

"I'm sure you will," Dominick says back to her. "My ex-wife, Felicia, she was at Raven's Meadow for a while. I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job."

"Thanks Mr. Robertson," Abby smiles back to him. "I really need to get going. Enjoy the rest of your day."

"You too Abby," Dominick smiles as she races away.

Raven's Meadow

"I had a lot of fun in group therapy today," Victoria tells Bryce as they walk through the hallway of Raven's Meadow as they move towards her room. "I am really enjoying sharing my feeling. It is really helping me."

"That is great to hear," Bryce flashes her a smile. "I told you when you first got here that you would get better. It's all just a process."

They stop when they reach her room door and Victoria looks into his eyes. She has recently realized that he might be attracted to her; she knows that she might be able to use this to her advantage in trying to figure out if she truly has split; she has no idea why he would have lied to her about her diagnosis but she knows that this doesn't feel the same as the last time Brandy took over her life.

"I guess it is time for my medication?" she asks him finally breaking the silence.

"That's true, we can go into your room and I can give you the pills."

Victoria turns and opens the door to her room and moves inside. Once they are inside, Victoria looks at Bryce and then moves up to him and kisses him on the lips.

"What are you doing?" he asks her as he quickly pulls away from her. He can't deny that he has thought about kissing her many times but he also knows that he could get in a lot of trouble if anyone had seen them together in that way.

"Sorry," Victoria looks back at him. "I…I don't know what came over me."

Bryce passes her a small cup with her medication inside. "That's okay," he tells her. "I can't deny that I think you're a beautiful woman, Victoria, but we can't cross that line, okay? I'm your doctor."

"Okay, I am sorry," she says back to him. "Can you give me a moment to take my pills? I like to do it alone."

"Of course, I'll be outside."

Once Bryce is out of the room, Victoria sighs and runs her hands through her hair. She puts the pills that are in her cup and places them under her pill, with the rest of the medication that she has stopped taking.

"I am going to figure out what the hell is going on here," she whispers to herself, as she thinks about the kiss she just shared with Bryce. "Even if it's the last thing I do."
