The Sugarbowl

Madeline opens the door to the coffeehouse and quickly moves inside as she is desperate for another coffee this morning. She had a very late night the previous night as she, Andy and Nicholas flew to Nashville to try to track down Clayton, the man who looks like Reese. They were all surprised when Clayton ended up being their waiter at the restaurant they were going to grab some food at; the sight of Clayton caused Madeline to faint, but when she came too, she was able to convince him to come back to Twin Peaks with them so they can try to figure out how and why he looks exactly like Reese.

"I need coffee and then I will go see Clayton," she whispers to herself as she moves into the lineup to place her order. She looks over to the coffee bar and arches her eyebrow at the sight in front of her. She finds herself moving up to the bar. "Will, is that you?"

Will puts a lid on his coffee and turns to see Madeline standing next to him. He is stunned to see his ex-girlfriend as he hasn't seen her in years. On top of that, he barely slept the night before because of Eva's death. He feels raw today and like he is in walking in a mist. "Maddie? Is that really you? When did you get back into town?"

"A couple of weeks ago," Madeline smiles back to him. "Hey, are you okay? You don't look so good today."

"I didn't sleep last night," Will replies to her as they move to the window seats. "I'm sure you'll hear about this sooner than later, but last night Eva McCloud was killed by the Rose Peddle killer."

Madeline gasps back to him in shock at the news. "My God," Madeline covers her mouth. "I know you two were close, how are you doing?"

"We were more than close," Will replies to her as he fights tears forming in his eyes. "Hours before her death, she told me that she was going to sign divorce papers from Dominick and that she wanted to be with me. Just as we were going to have our chance to be together, she was killed."

"Oh Will," Madeline moves up and pulls him into a hug as a tear falls down his cheek. "I am so sorry. If you need anything from me, you know I'm here."

"I'm going to take you up on that because I'm going to need all the support I can get," he admits to her as he weeps into her shoulder. "I just can't believe she's gone."

One Day House

Andy slowly opens the door to Nicholas' office and sees his former lover sitting behind his desk. Andy pauses for a moment as he looks at Nicholas and realizes that Clayton is back in Twin Peaks because of Nicholas' investigating. Had Nicholas not realized that Melissa called Clayton while he was staying at the One Day House, they might have not found out that Clayton was in Nashville and convinced him to come home.

"Morning," Andy finally says as he moves into the office. "Did you get any sleep last night?"

Nicholas looks up from his workload that is on his desk and shakes his head back to him. "Barely any," Nicholas responds to him. "How about you?"

"Same boat as you," Andy admits to him. "I am just so glad that Madeline was able to convince Clayton to come back to Twin Peaks; now, maybe, we can get to the bottom of why he looks like Reese."

"I hope that you're able to get your answers."

"Me too," Andy looks back at Nicholas. "And if I do, I have you to thank for it. Thanks for going to so much trouble to find Clayton."

Nicholas shrugs back to him as they make eye contact. "It was the last I could do," Nicholas admits to him. "I just hope it is the start of us building the gap that is between us."

Andy uneasily nods back to him. "After I talk to Clayton, I'll let you know," Andy replies to him quickly. "In the meantime, I have to get to the paper. Did you hear the latest?"

"About Eva McCloud?" Nicholas asks him as Andy nods back to him. "I can't believe that the killer has another victim. They have to be stopped."

"I just hope Kim is okay," Andy sighs back to him. "She and Natasha aren't exactly close, but Natasha will be devastated by this."

"If I can do anything, let me know," Nicholas tells him. "I'm here for you, Andy."

"Thanks Nicholas, I appreciate that."

Roboto

Kim sits behind the desk in the main office of Roboto and types furiously into her laptop as she tries to brainstorm about some new ideas that she can implement at the company to try push it back to the top of the corporate world. She knows that she and Robbie have been talking about what direction they can take the company in and now they must start to deliver. She just hopes that she and her husband can come up with a stellar idea that will allow Roboto to rebound from the disaster of Cassie Nova stealing funds.

"Have you heard from Natasha this morning?" Robbie asks his wife as he moves into the office and closes the door behind himself.

Kim looks up at him and shakes her head no. "Should I have? I haven't seen her all morning."

"I doubt we will see here today," Robbie admits to her as he crosses his arms over his chest. "Have you heard about Eva?"

Kim stands up and arches her eyebrow back to him. "No? What is going on with Eva now?"

Robbie gulps back to his wife. "There's no easy way to tell you this," Robbie slowly tells her as Kim looks back at him, her face suddenly overcome with worry. "Eva was killed last night by the Rose Peddle killer."

"No," Kim shakes her head back to him in shock and horror. "This can't be true? How has Simona Lopez not found the damn killer yet?"

"I wish I knew," Robbie grabs her hand as Kim comes up to him. "But Natasha is going to be devastated. She loved her mother very much."

Kim pulls Robbie into a hug. "This is a nightmare," she whispers to him. "A complete nightmare."

The Davenport House; Trenyce & Andrew's Home

"Are you absolutely sure that there is nothing that I can get for you?" Trenyce asks Chris, who is sitting on the sofa in the living room of her home next to Andrew. Chris, who as released from jail due to good behavior, only arrived at the house a short time ago and Trenyce wants to ensure that he has everything that he needs. Of course, she also must find a way to tell him that she is pregnant with Brad's child because she won't be able to keep it a secret forever; however, she is worried about how Chris is going to react to this news.

"Yea, I'm good babe, why don't you come sit with Andrew and I," Chris smiles back to her. "I just got out of jail, I want to spend as much time with you guys as possible. Cheresa, too."

"You're right," Trenyce nods back to him as she moves into the living room closer to him. "You did just get out of jail, so what is it that you'd like to do? Is there anything in particular?"

"Honestly," Chris looks back at her and then over at Andrew. "There's a couple of things that I want to do."

"What are they, man?" Andrew asks him quickly.

"I want to see Adam," Chris reveals to him. "He should hear from me that I'm out of jail and I want to apologize for everything that happened with the car accident last fall. But before that, I really want to go to Albertinah's grave site. I want to see my sister and say my goodbyes."

Andrew feels himself get choked up at the thought; he still can't believe that Albertinah is gone and with the news of Eva's death spreading, it seems like there is more death in the air in Twin Peaks. "I'd love to go with you," Andrew admits to him. "She meant so much to me."

"And she cared for you a lot too, Andrew," Chris uneasily smiles back to him. "So, what do you say? Let's go see Albertinah?"

"We'd love too," Trenyce forces a smile on her face as they stand up and start to move towards the door.

The Victors Mansion

Vinny skips into the living room feeling like he is on cloud nine this morning as the night before he and Daisy made love for the first time in years. Of course, Daisy believes that he is Brett, so he has to ensure that he continues with his masquerade of his brother. After everything he and Daisy have been through, he never believed that they would be back in this position, but he can't help but have enjoyed their love making.

On top of that, his plan to get revenge on Victoria is going smoothly as he blackmailed Bryce into telling her that she split again, even though all her symptoms have been created as a result of Vinny drugging her. He just hopes that Victoria will believe Bryce and check herself into Raven's Meadow to get more help.

He pours himself a cup of coffee as he thinks about how his plans are going so well. "Nothing will stop me from getting everything I damn well want and deserve," he whispers to himself while he takes a sip of his drink. "Victoria will pay for spoiling my scheme with Daisy and Brett; Felicia is going crazier so Tyler will be occupied with her and Daisy, well, I have her right where I want her. Yes, everything is going even better than I had planned."

He hears a chime on his phone and pulls it out of his pocket. He sees the Sun article headline ping from his News app and he gasps in shock. "Eva McCloud killed by Rose Peddle Killer"; he can't believe his eyes but suddenly he gets a devilish grin on his face.

"This could be the trigger than finally sends Victoria over the edge," he whispers to himself. "This is perfect!"

Twin Peaks Police Department

"I can understand that you're all upset," Simona tells Donovan, Victoria and Natasha as they stand in her office in the police station. Simona realizes that Eva's child are desperate to get answers since their mother was murdered the night before but she has to make them realize that she is doing everything she can to try to solve the mystery of the identity of the serial killer; she hates that the killer has claimed another victim, however. She only hopes that she can find the person before they strike again. "But, you have to believe me when I say that I am doing everything in my power to find the killer."

"What else do you need?" Natasha asks her with her hoarse voice. She looks over at her half-siblings and can see that they look just as rough as she does since none of them slept the night before because they are reeling from Eva's death. "Because, I will give you more money if you need more resources. I will do anything to find the person that took our mother from us."

"Don't you understand?" Donovan looks back at the detective with his red eyes. "All we want is for this person to face the consequences of their actions."

Victoria is about to say something, but she starts to cry and puts her head on Donovan's shoulder. "We need our mother's killer to pay for what they have done," Natasha whispers back to the detective.

Simona nods back to them. "I know you do," she tells them. "And mark my words, I will find the son of a bitch that did this and I will make them pay. You have my word on that."

Dominick's Townhouse

Dominick slowly moves to the front door of his townhouse as he can hear someone ringing the doorbell. He doesn't know who it could be but he doesn't want to see anyone; he barely got any sleep the previous night and he is still feeling raw from the fact that Eva was murdered the night before. He has no idea what he is going to do without his wife; despite all of their problems, he knows that he is still loved her on some level. You can't spend that many years with someone and not care about them, he has realized.

He opens the door and is stunned to see Will standing outside. "Will, this…what are you doing here?"

Will shrugs back to him sheepishly. "Honestly, I have no idea," Will admits to him. "I haven't slept, and I just keep thinking about Eva and everything that happened last night."

Dominick finds himself nodding back to him. "I understand completely. Do you want to come in?"

"Sure," Will manages to say back to him as he moves into the home. "I hope I'm not intruding?

"You're probably the only person I want to see right now."

"Do you mean that?"

Dominick sighs heavily back to him. "I know that we have had our issues, Will and rightfully so," Dominick looks back at him. "But, you're probably the only person that understands what I am going through right now. Seeing Eva like that; there was so much blood; it's just hard to get that image out of your brain."

"I keep thinking that I'm going to wake up and this was all a nightmare," Will admits to him. "But, it's real…Eva, she's really gone?"

Dominick moves up to him and puts his hand on Will's shoulder before he starts to weep, and they embrace. "I'm afraid so," Dominick lets a tear fall down his cheek. "Eva is really gone."

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"This can't be true!" a flabbergasted Cheresa shrieks back to Greg and Abby, who just finished telling them that Greg killed Brooke after finding out that Brooke was the Rose Peddle killer. Cheresa is having a hard time believing this as it means that her mother killed Shelley, Brad, Albertinah and Eva. It doesn't make sense to her that Brooke would have hurt so many people. "Mom, a killer? No, it can't be real!"

"I know this comes as a surprise," Greg tries to tell his daughter, his head still wrapped from the wound he got when he fought with Brooke. "But it is true. I was surprised too. We are were."

"Dad said that when Mom realized he knew the truth, she tried to kill him too," Abby tells Cheresa, who looks back in shock. For Abby, this is all so raw as well. She is only going based on information that Greg told her since she has a memory block of part of the previous night; she doesn't know why she has had a memory block but she also doesn't know why Greg would lie about any of this.

"That is how I got this head injury," Greg tells his daughter's, as he looks over at Abby. He knows that the trauma of the night before is the reason that Abby has blocked it from her mind; he has seen it many times while working at Raven's Meadow; something really horrible happens to someone, they faint and put it out of their mind. The fact that Donovan told Abby to stay away from Lukas, seeing Brooke try to kill Greg and then killing her own mother in self-defense was too much for Abby to handle. Now, he knows that he has to protect her at all costs. "I know that this is alarming for both of you, but I have to take action with all of this."

"Action?" Cheresa asks as she gets tears in her eyes. "What kind of action?"

"I…" Greg uneasily looks back at Cheresa. "I killed Brooke last night," he tells her as she gasps out in horror. "And, I have to confess. I have to tell the police what I've done."

"But Daddy," Cheresa shakes her head in confusion, worried about what this means for her family's future. Everything is happening too fast for Cheresa to properly process it.

"No but's," Greg looks back at her. "I will be okay, you have to believe me. But, I have to tell the police what happened. I can't run from this."

"This is horrible," Cheresa gasps for some air as she tries to process everything that is happening.

"I know it is," Greg nods back to her. "But the sooner I do this, the better off we will all be."

Greg stands up from the sofa and moves over to his house phone. He picks it up and dials a number. "Simona, it's Greg," he says as he turns and looks at his daughter's, who are holding each other's hands. "We need to talk, it's urgent."
