The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"Hello Gregory," Brooke, who is oddly calm, announces to Greg as she moves into the living room of the large estate that she lives in with her ex-husband and their children. She looks at him closely for a moment as she can see that he has his cell phone in his hand; the last thing Brooke needs is for Greg to make a phone call to Simona Lopez about the fact that she is the Rose Peddle killer. She still can't believe that Greg saw her at the storage locker trying to clean up all the evidence that proves that she is the killer; she was going to stop killing people and now Greg knows the truth. "I think we have to talk, don't you?"

Greg slowly puts the phone down from his ear and looks back at his ex-wife, feeling his heart rate starting to accelerate. The woman whom has been in his life for so long doesn't even look recognizable right now as he can't believe that she is the Rose Peddle killer. "Brooke, I thought you were at the spa?"

"Cut the bullshit," Brooke snaps back at him. "I know that you saw me at the storage locker. I saw you running away when I opened the door."

"You're right," Greg tries to keep this voice steady. "I did see you at the storage locker. I saw you with your knife and the vase with the rose stems. It's you, isn't it? You're the Rose Peddle killer?"

Brooke gets a sly grin on her face. "You caught me," she chuckles back to him. "I did what I had to do to protect this family. And, if you think for one minute that I'm sorry, you have another thing coming."

"You," Greg points his finger at her, suddenly feeling enraged. "You killed Brad! How could you do that? How could you put a knife into your own son's chest?"

The Pampa Grill

"Where's your date?" Tyler asks Daisy as he moves up to her table at the restaurant. Tyler just finished visiting Natasha and they made up from their tiff regarding her comments that Felicia might be the serial killer, which makes him happy because he has been enjoying his time with her. She was tired, so he left but he wanted to have a nightcap before heading home. He stopped at the restaurant and saw Daisy sitting at a table alone; he can't help but recall how earlier in the evening he saw Daisy with Brett and the two were sharing a heated kiss.

Daisy looks back at him and chuckles to him. "He's just using the restroom and then we are going to head home."

"Okay, I'll make this fast then," Tyler sits across from her and looks at his ex-girlfriend. "I saw you earlier; the two of you kissing, I mean."

Daisy uneasily nods back to him. "That's generally what two people when they are on a date, Tyler."

Tyler shakes his head back to her. "I can't believe that you trust him enough to go out with him," he admits to her. "Everything that has happened with my Mom and him, something isn't adding up. Why can't you see that?"

"It's not that I don't see your point," Daisy replies to him quickly. "I do, I really do. But, your Mom does have a history of being unstable. I'm not saying she's off her medication right now but why would Brett be in her bedroom? He barely even knows her? It doesn't make sense at all."

"A lot of things aren't adding up," Tyler nods back to her. "Like, why I saw him sneaking out of Victoria's condo? What was he doing? I don't know Daisy, I just don't trust him. And, I don't think you should either."

"I know how you feel," Daisy looks back at him. "But, I need you to trust me, okay? I know what I am doing."

"I can only imagine how surprised Jeff was to see you back in town," Andy chuckles over to Madeline as they sit at the backcorner table of the restaurant. Madeline just finished telling her brother in law that she ran into her ex-boyfriend at the coffeehouse earlier in the day and they caught up. Madeline hadn't realized how much she had missed so many people in Twin Peaks.

"He was but it was really nice to see him," she picks up her chardonnay and takes a sip of it. "I guess I had forgotten how easy it is to run into people you know in this city. LA is huge, you can go days without seeing anyone you know."

"Twin Peaks definitely has that charm about it," Andy nods back to her.

"Have you heard anything from Meggan on this search for Clayton?" Madeline asks him quickly, changing the subject to the man who is a dead ringer for her brother, Reese.

Andy sighs back to her. "I'm afraid not," he admits to her. "I know we just visited earlier this morning but every minute that goes on without hearing something from her about Clayton's whereabouts, the more I start to lose hope of ever finding him."

Madeline arches her eyebrow. "I guess we may have to wrap our heads around the fact that we might not get the answers that we desperately seek from Clayton."

"I guess so," Andy replies to her. "But, I'm not sure I'm ready to accept that yet. I need to know why he looks like Reese; I don't think I can let this go."

The Young Mansion; Boston

"Your father is running late from the office," Melissa tells Nicholas as they sit together in the living room of her large mansion in Boston. Melissa is still reeling from the surprise of her son showing up on her doorstep unannounced. She hasn't seen Nicholas in months, so the fact that he came all the way to Boston to see her is a lovely treat. "So, it will be just you and I for a little while longer."

"That's perfectly fine," Nicholas looks back at her. "Like I told you earlier, I am here to get some answers."

Melissa arches her eyebrow as she pours herself a brandy from the bar. "Answers, darling? About what?"

"Clayton Hughes," Nicholas replies to her quickly. "The man that you hired to gaslight Andy last year."

"Yes, I know who he is. What about him?"

"He was staying at the One Day House," Nicholas stands up from his chair and moves closer to her. "And, then he disappeared. He left, without saying a word to anyone. He's practically vanished into thin air."

Melissa takes a sip of her brandy. "I see. I'm not sure what I can do to help you?"

"I know that you called into the One Day House," Nicholas tells her as he looks at her. "I know that you spoke to Clayton on his burner phone. What did you say to him?"

Melissa sighs back to him. "Okay, you caught me," she waves her hand in the air. "I called Clayton and told him that Andy was looking for him. I suggested that he run, okay? I was trying to protect you, Nicholas!"

"Oh mother," Nicholas sighs back to her. "Stop trying to protect me! Don't you think that has gotten us to enough trouble?"

"I know that if Andy spoke to Clayton that it might be the end of the two of you and I didn't want that," Melissa replies to him quickly. "For so long you wanted me to defend your relationship, and now you're upset with me when I have?"

"Because," Nicholas glares at her. "You always have your own agenda! So, what was it this time, mother?"

"I've told you my truth."

"Perfect," Nicholas moves closer to her. "Then you'll tell me where you told Clayton to run too. Where did he go? Tell me everything right now!"

The Cascade Apartments; Max's Apartment

Max skips the fridge and opens it up to pull a beer out. He cracks it open and takes a swig of it immediately as he moves over to the sofa in the living room. He can't stop smiling because earlier in the day he saw Paige, who was alone in the park. He realized that she wasn't wearing her engagement ring and when he asked her about it, she admitted that she ended things with Jacob because they were fighting over him. Max, who had been working to split the couple up, didn't even have to do much to break the couple up. Max, then, asked Paige if she wanted to go out on a date with him. While she agreed, she did make it clear that it would only be as friends. But, he will take anything he can get.

"The fact that you agreed to go out with me," Max smiles to himself. "It's a very good sign. I know that once you spend more time with me, you'll remember how amazing we are together, Paige. And then soon, we will be back together. This time, nothing will split us up this time."

He puts his beer down on the coffee table and stands up. He moves over to a dresser in the living room and opens the top drawer, where he pulls out his burner phone.

He opens the phone and starts typing a message to Cassie. "Mom, P & J broke up … taking her out soon. Will make sure they don't get back together, xo, Max."

He puts the phone back in the drawer and closes it quickly. "One day soon, maybe you can come home Mom," he whispers to himself. "Because, now Jacob is free so you two can reunite. We are going to get everything we want; nothing will stop us this time."

The Sugarbowl

"It's a bit late to be having a latte, isn't it?" Jacob asks Paige as he moves up to the window seat where his ex-fiancé is sitting by herself. He was having a hard time settling down for the night, so he came back into the downtown hoping to grab a hot chocolate and walk in the park when he happened to see Paige sitting by herself. He knows that she ended their engagement recently and he is desperate to try to prove to her that Max isn't the guy that she thinks he is.

"Hey Jacob," Paige turns and sees her former lover standing in front of her. "I was at the Pampa Grill having a drink, but I thought I should sober up a little before bed. I have a busy day planned at the office tomorrow."

"Ah, I see," Jacob nods back to her. "Having a drink with your parents?"

"No," Paige moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "Max, actually; he and I are still friends."

Jacob feels his blood boil at the news that Paige was having a drink with Max. He knows he must keep himself under control, but he hates what she is telling him. "I guess I have no right to be upset by that," he replies to her. "Since you ended our relationship."

"You know why I did that," Paige looks back at him. "I don't want to fight with you over Max anymore."

"That is apparent."

"And look," Paige replies to him. "You should hear this from me; Max asked me out on a date after he found out that we ended our relationship."

"He did what?" Jacob gasps back to her. He knew that Max was going to use this to his own advantage; this is just confirmation for him. "He has a lot of nerve!"

"I told him I would go out with him as friends," Paige stuns Jacob even more. "I told him I wasn't ready for anything other than friendship."

"Unbelievable," Jacob shakes his head back to her. "You don't even realize it, but you're playing right into his hands, Paige. You know what, forget it. I'm out of here."

Before Paige can reply, Jacob is walking out of the front door of the coffeehouse. "At least he heard it from me?" Paige whispers to herself, as she wonders if Jacob will be able to accept her decision to keep Max in her life.

Robertson Enterprises

"We have to talk about Olly?" a confused Abby looks back at Donovan as they stand next to one another in his office at Robertson Enterprises. Abby only arrived at the office a short time ago after Donovan asked her to stop by; after they discussed how she is struggling because she found Albertinah's dead body, Donovan told her that they needed to talk about Olly. Abby had hoped, however, that Olly would have been at the office, so she could have seen him. She still doesn't know why she has such a connection to the little boy that Donovan and Lukas adopted but Olly does bring her such a piece of mind. "Is he okay? Is anything wrong?"

Donovan uneasily sighs back to her knowing that the conversation that they are about to have will not be easy for her. "Yes, Olly is perfectly fine," Donovan nods back to her. "I am sorry if I worried you, I didn't mean too."

"I am just glad that he is okay," Abby breathes a sigh of relief. "I don't know if you've noticed, but I've taken a liking to that little boy of yours."

Donovan uneasily chuckles back to her. "Yes, we have all noticed. It's just…Lukas and I have been talking and …"

"And, what? Just tell me, Donovan, please."

"We think that it would be best if you took a step back from seeing Olly as often," Donovan blurts out. "We want you to stay away from Olly."

Abby feels like she just got sucker punched at his words. Immediately she feels her eyes swell with water. "Where is this coming from? Why are you saying this to me?"

"There are many reasons," Donovan tells her. "We aren't trying to hurt you, Abby. We are simply just looking out for our son, that's all. I hope you can understand."

A tear falls down Abby's cheek and she quickly wipes it away. "No, it's fine. It is just another thing that is being ripped out of my life. Sonny, Andrew, Brad, Albertinah … why would Olly be any different?"

"It's not…"

"No, you don't have say anything else," Abby quickly grabs her purse and moves to the door. "See you around, Donovan."

Abby quickly leaves the office and closes the door behind her. Once she's in the hallway, she leans up against the wall as more tears flood from her eyes. "Oh God," she gasps for breath. "Oh my God…"

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"How could you do it, Brooke? How could you kill our son?" Greg yells at his ex-wife, who just admitted to him that she is the Rose Peddle killer. Now, he is furious and is demanding answers about how she could have killed their son on New Year's Eve.

Brooke moves closer to him. "Do you remember what happened after my trial, Greg?" she asks him as she purses her lips together. "I begged you to take me back. I wanted our marriage to work and for us to be united as the mighty Lawson's. And, what did you do? You rejected me at every turn! So, what did I do? I left town to try to find myself. And, while I was away, I cut myself while making dinner one night. Immediately, I moved my finger to the sink and turned the water on. The water was red from my blood. But, that's when I realized what I had to do. I had to use blood to remove any obstacle from my family's way."

"What has happened to you?" Greg asks her as he listens to her story in disbelief.

Brooke looks back at him with tears in her eyes. "I came back to town and I started to remove obstacles from our life, Greg. Don't you see that? Cheresa was having problems with Dawn because of her affair with Shelley, so I removed Shelley from the equation. And look what happened, Dawn and Cheresa are back together! So, you see, my plan worked!" Brooke continues to explain to an increasingly rattled Greg. "Trenyce, she was jerking Brad around and so, yes, on New Year's Eve, I tried to remove her from Brad's life forever. I had no idea that he was going to show up and push that tramp out of the way! I had no idea! Do you really think that I wanted to kill my own child? No, that was a horrible mistake. I still live with that every day. And Trenyce, she is still walking around free as a little bird. God, it makes me sick to my stomach."

"You killed Brad! That is more than a horrible mistake, Brooke!"

"I know!" a tear falls out of Brooke's eye. "I never meant to hurt him! You have to believe me, Greg! You have too!"

"And, Albertinah?"

"Well," Brooke looks back at him as she wipes her eyes dry. "Abby has been losing her mind because she lost Sonny and Andrew. I removed Albertinah thinking that if she wasn't in the picture, Andrew would return to our other daughter. It is so new that I don't know if it will work yet or not, but I have faith."

"You're a sick woman," Greg looks back at her. "You can't go around killing people to remove them from our lives, Brooke! These are human beings! With thoughts, feelings, emotions, family's! You're taking that all away from them! You my son away from me forever! How can I ever look at you the same way again? No, this is crazy, and this is going to end, now!"

"What are you saying Greg?"

"I'm going to call the police," he glares back at her. "You won't hurt anyone else, not as long as I'm around."
