Robertson Enterprises; The Studio
"How are you feeling this morning?" Paige asks her fiancé as
she moves some files to one of the large tables in the studio. She knows that
Jacob was not pleased to hear that Natasha was dating Tyler the previous night;
in his mind his mother is being hypocritical since she gave him such a difficult
time when he started dating Paige. "You left your Mom's last night not in
the best of moods." "No, I'm not okay," Jacob sighs back
to her as he moves up to her. "She gave you and I so much grief when we started
dating last year because of our last names. For her to start dating your Uncle
and not see the irony or how hypocritical it is, is really not cool."
"I get that why you're upset with her," Paige nods back to him.
"But, if she's happy, like you and I are, shouldn't that be what matters?"
"I'm happy that she is happy," Jacob tells her. "It's just
the double standard that makes me upset. And, if she thinks I'm just going to
let this go, she has another thing coming." Paige picks up her coffee
and takes a sip of it as she looks at her fiancé wondering what it will
take for Jacob to accept the fact that his mother is dating Tyler, if anything
at all. The Sugarbowl
Max sits alone in the back booth
of the coffee house with his phone in his hand. He has a text box to Abby open
and he is composing a message to her as he wants her to know that he is still
thinking about her as she goes through her grief over baby Sonny and Brad; he
still wants to be there as much as he can for his friend. After he sends
his message, he takes a sip of his latte as he thinks about how he saw Paige and
Jacob the other day at the Pampa Grill and they were seemingly squabbling about
his inheritance from Cassie. He wonders if he can use them having this dispute
to his advantage to try to get Paige back. He still wants to get her away from
Jacob once and for all. "I will get you back Paige," he whispers
to himself. "No matter what I have to do, I will make you mine again."

Eva grabs her coffee from the barista and moves to the
coffee bar to put some cream and sugar into her beverage. She needs coffee this
morning before she heads over to see Dominick; she has to see her husband to tell
him that she thinks that Felicia has been skipping her medication because she
saw Felicia's hand shaking the previous night at the Calimo mansion during Natasha
and Tyler's announcement. She can't help but think about if Felicia is unstable
that she could, possibly, be the Rose Peddle killer. She needs to tell Dominick
her theory before she tells anyone else. "Mrs. Robertson,"
a voice calls out behind her. Eva turns and sees Simona Lopez standing
behind her. Eva gulps a little considering what she was just thinking about Felicia
possibly being the Rose Peddle killer. "Detective," Eva uneasily
replies to her. "Good morning to you too. What do I owe the pleasure?"
"I am just following up with you on your last visit to the police station,"
Simona tells her quickly. "Where you discussed with me about your concerns
about your daughter, Victoria." "Right," Eva uneasily
nods back to her. "Please tell me what you have uncovered."
"She claims she was at the Pampa Grill on New Year's Eve until 1:30 am,"
Simona tells her. "I spoke to your son, Donovan, this morning and he confirmed
this." "I see," Eva replies to her quickly. "That
means that she couldn't have been at Trenyce Davenport's house when Brad Lawson
was killed," Simona explains to her. "So, your daughter is couldn't
possibly be the Rose Peddle killer." Eva breathes a sigh of relief
hearing this news. She knows that she still might have to deal with Victoria if
she has in fact still split, but at least she isn't the killer. However, she realizes
that this might mean that Felicia is the killer if she is off her medication.
"Thank you so much," Eva tries to smile back to her. "I feel
so much better knowing that Victoria's innocence has been proven."
"If you have any other information on the killer though, please let me know."
"Of course detective," Eva nods back to her. "I will do just
that." Adam's Townhouse
"I can't get over how
big she is getting," Shane tells Robin as he holds Dominique in the living
room of Adam's townhouse. He still doesn't like that Robin has moved in with Adam
because he feels like he is missing so much of Domi's first months of her life.
"I feel like I am missing so much." "You can come and
see her anytime, I hope you know that," Robin comes up behind him and puts
her hand on his shoulder. "I would never keep you from your child, Shane."
"I know, it just hurts that I am not with her every day," Shane
admits to her. "Especially after everything we went through in the hospital."
"I understand that," Robin moves around the sofa to sit next to
him. "Just cherish the time you do get with her. And like I said, you can
come see her anytime. I will never stop you from seeing Domi." "Thanks,"
Shane uneasily looks back at her. "I think I'm going to put her down for
her nap. I'll be right back." Robin watches as Shane leaves the
living room and walks up the stairs to the second level. "How is
the visit going?" Adam asks Robin as he moves out of the kitchen with a glass
of water in his hand. He has been giving the new parents some time alone together
with Domi but he thought he'd come and see how everything was going.
Robin sighs as she stands up and moves closer to him. "Fine, I guess."
"What is it? What is wrong?" "Shane doesn't like
that he's missing so much of Domi's life," Robin admits to him. "Maybe
I should have moved in with Shane instead of coming back here."
"What good would that have done?" Adam asks her quickly. "You're
not in love with Shane and Domi shouldn't grow up in an environment where she
thinks her parents are together when they aren't." "Yea that
makes sense," Robin replies to him. "It's just a lot for him to handle
since we almost lost Domi." "If I can make this easier on you,"
Adam pulls her into a hug. "Let me know, because I want this to be as seamless
as possible." "That's why I love you so much," Robin tells
him as they hold one another. At the top of the stairs, Shane emerges
and sees Robin and Adam in an embrace and freezes. He can't help but think about
Helen telling him that they need to do something to break up the couple in front
of him. As he looks at them hugging and then looks over towards the nursery where
Domi is sleeping and wonders if she is right. The Pampa Grill
"How are you feeling about the doctor's appointment?" Cory asks Leah
as they sit together in the back corner of the restaurant together. They just
had the follow up appointment with Leah's doctor to see if she is healthy enough
to have a child and now they are going to discuss the results. "Well,
I am pretty happy about the turn out, aren't you?" Leah smiles back to him.
"We got the green light to have a baby, that's what we wanted to hear?"
"I know," Cory nods back to her. "It is almost surreal. We
can have a child!" Leah uneasily chuckles back to him. "Now
comes the fun part," she winks back to him. "Getting pregnant!"
"I'm ready to start trying anytime," he chuckles back to her, happy
that they might be parents within the next nine months. ***
"It is nice to see you out and about," Greg says to Trenyce as he comes
up to her table, as she waits for Cheresa to arrive. Greg is there with Brooke
but he saw Trenyce and wanted to come see her since she was the last person who
saw Brad alive; he wanted to know if she has heard anything from the police on
the investigation. "It could be easy for you to want to stay home."
"I'm forcing myself," Trenyce admits to him. "I'm meeting
Cheresa and she told me that I have to keep living." "It is
amazing how wise she is, huh?" Greg smirks back to her. "Listen, I won't
keep you, I was just wondering if you have heard anything from Simona Lopez on
the investigation into Brad's death?" "I'm afraid not,"
Trenyce sighs back to him. "I guess that means that you haven't heard anything
either?" "Not a word," Greg tells her. "I'm beginning
to lose my patience with the police department." Suddenly, Trenyce
puts her hand on her head and uses her other to hold herself up as she feels dizzy
for a moment. She quickly stabilizes herself and looks back at Greg with worry
on her face. "Hey, are you okay?" Greg asks her quickly growing
concerned about her. "Yea, I'm sorry," Trenyce shakes her head
before she takes a sip of her water. "I just felt faint for a moment. I am
feeling okay now." "Okay, just take care of yourself,"
Greg tells her. "It is a trying time for all of us." "I
will, for sure, thanks Greg, I am fine," Trenyce forces a smile on her face.

"I'm glad that you agreed to meet me this morning,"
Eva tells Dominick as she moves up to his table quickly. Considering how shaky
their marriage has been the last few months, Eva knows that getting Dominick to
meet with her isn't always a sure thing. "We have to discuss something really
important." "You made it sound important," Dominick takes
a sip of his coffee. "I am assuming this has to do with our divorce? Have
you finally realized that you need to sign the divorce papers?"
"This has nothing to do with our marriage," Eva replies to him quickly.
"At least not directly. It has to do with Felicia." "Not
this again?" "She was at the Calimo mansion last night,"
Eva reminds him quickly. "Her hands were shaking terribly."
Dominick looks back at her in surprise as he recalls also seeing Felicia's hand
shake a few days earlier. At the time, Felicia covered that she just needed to
eat something, which she did and she seemingly returned to normal. "I
asked her if she was off her medication," Eva tells him. "She claims
she wasn't and she took a pill in front of me, but I can't help but wonder
"
"Wonder what?" Dominick asks her back. "What are you suggesting,
Eva?" "You do remember what happened the last time she was
off her medication?" she asks him. "She kidnapped Leah in Lake Tahoe
and there was an explosion at the farm house and we all thought Leah was dead."
"How could I forget?" "If she's off her medication
again, Dominick, anything is possible." "What do you think
it is that Felicia has done, Eva?" "The Rose Peddle killer,"
Eva looks back at him intent. "What if it's Felicia? What if she has completely
lost her mind and is killing people?" ***
Outside
the restaurant, Tyler quickly moves up to the front door as he is planning to
meet Dominick for a coffee. He ensured Natasha was out of the restaurant before
their meeting because he didn't want there to be another altercation like there
was the previous night at the Calimo mansion. Before he can get to the
door, however, Vinny pops up and sees Tyler. "Good morning Tyler," Vinny
gives him a grin. "Brett, hi," Tyler replies to him, still
believing that Vinny is Brett. Immediately, Tyler thinks back to seeing him emerge
from Victoria's condo a few days earlier; he did inform Eva and Donovan of this
but since he has been busy focused on other aspects of his life. "What's
up?" "Rumor is, you have been asking questions about me,"
Vinny moves up to him. Vinny knows that he must make sure Tyler stays out of his
business; the last thing he needs is for Tyler to figure out that he is drugging
Victoria to make her appear to have split again. All of his hard work could be
for nothing if he doesn't act quickly. "I just want you to come to me directly
with anything you have to ask me, okay?" "Uh, yea, sure."
"And maybe, instead of focusing in on me, you should focus on your mother,"
Vinny grits his teeth to him. "She's not doing well, I'm not sure if you've
even noticed." "My mother? What about her?" "Exactly
my point," Vinny tells him. "Focus on you and your family and leave
me the hell alone." Before Tyler can reply, Vinny storms off leaving
him alone. Tyler shakes his head back to him wondering what the hell he is talking
about. The entire interaction has left Tyler wondering if there is more going
on with Brett than meets the eye. And now, he has to wonder what Felicia has to
do with any of this. "What does my mother have to do this?"
Tyler asks himself quickly. Next on One Day at a Time - Lukas
