Scene One -- Twin Peaks Rehabilitation Centre; Natasha’s Room

A light rain falls over Twin Peaks. Soon the rain will turn into snow and cover the city in a white blanket. Today, the rain will not turn into snow. Inside Twin Peaks Rehabilitation Centre, Natasha sits in her room. She hears the rain. She misses being outside. She misses going to work every day. It's been a few months since her accident, and she longs to be well enough to walk again. On her own. Her legs still feel very weak though. Today, however, she is excited as it is her first therapy session. She will soon be walking again on her own. And the fact that Shane is her therapist puts her at ease for the little apprehensiveness that she is feeling. She knows that she is in the best hands possible with Shane, and that makes her feel at better.

She looks over at the door as she hears it open slowly. Cory enters the room and smiles at her.

"Ready for your big day?" he asks as he sits next to her.

"As ready as I'll ever be. I just want it to go well today. I have no idea what to expect," she admits as she looks down at her weak legs.

Cory grabs her hand. "It's going to be okay Nat. You're so strong. I know that after a couple of sessions you'll be back to your old self. I believe in you okay?" he says.

"Thank you," she says softly. "I have no idea what I would without you."

"You'll never have to find out," he says back to her. "I'll be right back here, as soon as your appointment is over."

"Okay. That sounds good. Wish me luck," she replies.

Scene Two -- Capers

Robin enters the busy restaurant. It's near lunch time, so the restaurant is pretty full. The young waitress tells her that her father is already waiting for her. Robin approaches the table and Dominick stands up to greet her.

"You look wonderful," Dominick smiles as he hugs Robin.

"Thank you Daddy," she says as she pushes her long hair behind her back. "You look very handsome yourself."

They sit down and the waitress returns to take their drink and food order.

"So what have you been up to Daddy? I haven't seen a lot of you lately."

"A little of this...a little of that," he grins.

"Daddy?" she says arching her eyebrow. "I know what that means. What kind of trouble have you been getting in?"
Dominick laughs. "I haven't the foggiest of ideas of what you mean!"

Robin laughs and takes a drink of her white wine.

"Honestly, I have been getting bored. I may head to Paris soon. Or London. I don't know how you and Leah stay here. It's so ... boring," he says.

Robin giggles. "I have never found life boring around here," she admits. "But I do understand. I was just hoping ..."

"What? That I would find a woman and settle down here?"

Robin puts her head down. "Would that be so bad? I really miss you when you're not here. I like having you close by."

Dominick blushes and smiles. He reaches over and grabs her head. "I am always there for you. You know that, right?"

"Of course I do Daddy. It's just ... not the same. Especially ..."

"What Robin? What is it?"

Robin starts to fight tears in her eyes. "Ever since I moved out of the penthouse, I have been telling myself over and over again that I am strong and that I am okay without Cory. But it's killing me Daddy. It really is killing me. I need you here more than you know," she says as a few tears stroll down her face.

Dominick sighs. "Oh Robin. You should have told me. I should have been there for you. I only want to leave because it's so damn hard to be around S..." he starts, but quickly realizes that he was about to say Sofia's name.

"Who? Who is it hard to be around?" Robin says looking up at her father.

Dominick takes a drink.

"Is there a woman here Daddy?" Robin asks getting a little excited.

"There is," Dominick say slowly. "But she's not avaible. I don't want to be a home wrecker. And believe me, I would be the biggest home wrecker in the world if I went after this woman."

Robin sighs. "Fight for her."

"What?" he asks taken aback from Robin's response.

"Don't do what I did and just give up on the person you love. If you love her, fight for her Daddy. You're deserving of some happiness too."

Dominick stops and wonders if maybe Robin is right. Maybe he should fight for Sofia. After all these years ... could they be together?

"I will agree to this, under one condition," he says to her.

"What's that?"

"That you call me when you are feeling down and lonely because of Cory."

Robin smiles. "I promise I will," she says.

Scene Three -- Twin Peaks Jail; The Visiting Centre

Robbie walks down the hall way of the jail. He is headed towards the visiting centre. He knows he should probably not be there, but he felt like he had to come. Memories of Leah's irrational behaviour the night of the home coming party still haunt him. He knows that she is mourning Noah's death, still, but he finds her treatment of Meggan inexcusable. Publicly attacking her and verbally assaulting her will not solve anything, he thinks to himself.

He arrives at the guard. "Visiting Meggan Richardson," he says to the guard.

"Window six," the guard says back slowly. "You have fifteen minutes."

Robbie enters the visiting room. It's a long room, divided in half by cubicles that are divided by bullet proof glass. Each side has a chair and a telephone for the inmate and visitor to communicate with each other. Robbie arrives at window six and sits down. Soon Meggan is brought in wearing a bright orange jump suite. She sits down across from Robbie and picks up the phone.

"I am surprised to see you here," she says slowly, looking at him through the glass.

"I....I had to come," he says back. "I know that you were drunk and ..."

Meggan stops him. "Robbie, please. I know what I did was wrong. I don't need to hear you berate me for my actions."

Robbie sighs. "That's not why I am here," he confesses.

"Then why are you?"

"Come on Meggan. We've always been friends. While I don't just forgive you for what you did ... I don't think Leah's behaviour was justified. I think she's out of control."

Meggan smiles. She thinks back to her party. Leah jumping on her violently attacking her after learning the truth of Noah's death.

"She was a little out of control," Meggan admits. "But honestly Robbie, I deserve it. I was drunk and I killed her little ..." she starts choking on her own words. " ... boy. I deserve to be punished."

Robbie looks at her through the glass. He sees how torn up she is. The realization that she took Noah's life is clearly hitting her hard. "Just know that I will talk to Leah and try to get her to ease up, okay? You're obviously paying for what you've done."

"Thank you Robbie."

Suddenly a guard reappears behind Meggan.

"I guess my time's up. Thanks again for coming," Meggan says.

"Stay strong, okay? You'll get through this." Robbie hangs up the phone and watches as Meggan is taken back. He puts his hands over his face and takes a deep breathe. Meggan is killing herself with guilt, he realizes. How can he make Leah understand that Meggan is torturing herself?

Scene Four -- The Legal Firm; Preston’s Office

Preston's desk is cluttered with paper work. He is typing quickly as his Starbucks coffee is getting cold. He quickly pauses to take a drink and realizes that it's cold.

"Blah," he says in disgust. He pressed a large yellow button on his phone and instructs his secretary to order him another one. He moves his focus back to typing.

He looks up when he hears a knock on his door. He spots Vinny Victors standing in his door way.

"Vinny Victors .... what a surprise," he says not expecting to see Vinny there.

Vinny enters and sits in front of Preston's desk after closing the door. "I need your help," Vinny admits.

"Well, I must be one of the few people to ever hear those words come out of your mouth," Preston grins.

Vinny remains stoic. "Usually I would have gone to Natasha, but considering her medical status right now ..."

"I understand. What can I do for you exactly?," Preston asks.

"You were at my wife's homecoming party. I am sure I don't need to tell you why I am here," Vinny says thinking back to how Leah publicly announced Meggan's role in Noah's death.

"Ah yes," Preston says. "It seems Meggan is in a pickle now. Would you like me to represent her?"

"I want the best. You and Natasha are the best," Vinny says.

"I would be happy to help Meggan," Preston says. "Just so you know though, Vinny. Murder trials are not cheap."

"Money is no object. Not when it concerns my wife," Vinny states.

"Okay. I will get started. I will have to visit with her. Would you like to be present?"

"No, just keep me informed at every turn. I want to be involved in every aspect of this trial coming up," Vinny tells Preston.

"Fair enough. Thank you for coming in today Vinny. We'll be in touch once I have done some research and have spoken to Meggan."

"Thank you," Vinny says standing up and shaking Preston's hand. “Oh, and one more thing. I don’t want failure.”

Scene Five -- Capers

Will and Patricia are seated by the large window near the street. She sits in her jeans a pink satin shirt. Her long blonde hair is pulled into a ponytail on her right hand side and it lays softly on her shoulder. Will's wearing jeans and a green polo shirt.

"I am glad you could make it today," he says smiling. "I was looking forward to seeing you."

Patricia smiles. "I was looking forward to it as well," she admits. "Can I be honest with you for a minute though?"

"Of course," he replies.

"I would really like if we take this dating thing slowly. I don't want to rush into anything. I ... I would like to really get to know you."

Will laughs. He's heard that line before. Girls wanting to get to know him before. Behind the line, he knows that it means he won't be getting any from Patricia for awhile. He quickly thinks back to his "coaching session" at work with Olivia. "That's cool. Nothing serious yet. I was thinking the same thing."

Patricia relaxes when he says that. "Good. So, what looks good?"

***

Across the restaurant, Kim and Jeff sit enjoying a lunch.

"It was nice of you to get out of the office for awhile," he says taking a bit of his cajun chicken sandwich.

Kim takes a drink of her mojito. "I thought we could use the time together. We've been so ... distant lately."

Jeff looks at Kim. He can see that she is struggling with their relationship, and their lack of real communication.

"I know. I'm sorry. I guess it's mostly my fault ..."

Kim sighs. "I don’t think we should place blame Jeff. You've been mourning Noah; I've been mourning Jackson. We just haven't been dealing with our losses together very well."

"I hope that changes. Especially now."

"Now that Meggan is in jail?" Kim asks. "You know she is going through a rough time."

"As she should! She killed my son. I hope she burns in jail for a very, very long time."

Kim sighs. She has been friends with Meggan for as long as she can remember. Even though she knows that Meggan killing Noah is unforgivable, part of her feels for Meggan. "I am sure that she will spend her fair share of time in jail."

"Yea, especially if Leah and I have anything to do about it."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

Jeff wonders if he should reveal anything to Kim at this moment. "Nothing. We are just going to be at the trial. I hope I testify actually."

"When will this end Jeff? Will this really make you feel better? Can't we just let the trial happen and let us work on our relationship?" she says. "I think we should go away. Maybe Europe or some where tropical. Come back once the trial is over."

"Are you out of your mind? I need to be here to ensure that Meggan is dealt with! I can't just up and leave. I won't!"

"Okay, okay. It was just an idea."

"Well, no offence, but it's a pretty crappy one. If we are going to work on our relationship, you are going to have to realize that I am going to avenge Noah's death to the best of my ability. You want me to let you in on how I am feeling. I want that bitch to pay," he spits.

"I can't believe you're talking to me this way,”
"I can't believe that you still don't get it." he says dropping his fork. "Look, I lost my appetite. I'll see you at home later," he says getting up and walking out of the restaurant.

Kim fights back the swelling in her eyes. "I'm not going to cry. Not over this. Not anymore," she tells herself as she gets up to leave.

***

Patricia and Will laugh as they eat. The lunch has been going very well. Patricia has relaxed and has been doing the first date very well.

"This has been a lot of fun. I am really glad we are getting to know each other," she says.

He reaches over and grabs her hand. "Me too," he winks.

Patricia blushes. She likes that he is touching her hand.

"Was that too much?" he asks.

"No, not at all," she smiles.

Suddenly his eyes turn and he spots Kim leaving the restaurant.

"Hey, can you give me a second?" he asks turning to Patricia.

"Sure," she says as he is already up out of his seat.

"Kim!" he calls out. Patricia watches as Will rushes over to another woman's side. She feels embarrassed and angry inside.

***

Will approaches Kim. "Hey, is everything okay? You look upset."

Kim hugs Will. "Thanks for checking on me. I'm ... okay. I should expect things like this when I see Jeff these days."

"Are things still rough with you guys?"

"You have no idea."

"I'm sorry to hear that. I'm with a date right now, but maybe we could do dinner or something? You can talk to me about it if you'd like. Or Jackson."

Kim smiles. "Yea, I'd like that."

"Cool. Give me a call."

Will returns to the table. A livid Patricia is packing her bag.

"What's going on?" he asks.

"You really have to ask? You leave me for another woman ... in front of me?" Patricia says shocked and annoyed.

"Hey, it's not like that. Kim is a friend. She's going through a rough time ... we both lost a friend recently. I was just seeing how she was. She's just a friend."

Suddenly Patricia feels like an idiot. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you just lost someone."

"I don't talk about it. We were just old business acquaintances."

"I'm sorry. I feel like I ruined our date."

"You did no such thing. I had a great time," he winks.

"Good," she smiles.

They both stand up to leave. He comes over and helps her put her sweater on.

"I really did having a good time," he says.

"Me too," she says sitting back down to finish her drink.

“So with your family … any luck?” he asks, remembering their conversation they had after the homecoming party a few nights ago.

Patricia tenses up quickly. She still hasn’t seen Olivia, Preston or Reese again since the party. She doesn’t want too … not yet, she’s not ready.

“It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it,” he says clueing in that she’s not responding.

“Thanks. Maybe another time? Should we go?” she asks trying to change the subject as she stands up.

“Sure,” he says coming over and helping her collect her things. “I really did have a good time,” he smiles at her.

“Me too, it’s been fun,” she says slowly as Will’s head comes in and gives her a quick kiss on the lips.

They part, and Patricia is left with feeling of butterflies in her stomach. She smiles at him, and he smiles back at her.

Scene Six -- Twin Peaks Rehabilitation Centre

Cassie arrives at the centre. She tried to surprise Shane at TPGH with a lunch, but she was told that he was at the rehab centre. She thinks back and realizes that he never told her that he was going to the centre today. She wonders why he was keeping it from her. She came to the centre to find out if everything was alright. Secretly, she also knows that Natasha is at the centre. While she is trying to work on her insecurities, she knows that Shane could be here for Natasha ... and that thought is driving her crazy.

She approaches the front counter. A young nurse approaches her.

"Can I help you?" she asks Cassie.

"Yes. I am looking for Dr. Shane Glubbs. He ... left something at home this morning," she smiles as she lies to the nurse.

"Oh okay. Let me see where he is right now," she says typing into her computer. After a few seconds she looks up at Cassie. "I'm sorry, he's in a rehab session right now."

"With who?" Cassie enquires.

"Natasha Calvin," the nurse replies. "Oh, actually we aren't supposed to give out that information. Don't say anything, or I will get in trouble,” she says as she adjusts her trainee badge.

"I won't. Thanks for your help," Cassie says as she turns around and leaves. Outside the centre she throws her bag on the ground in frustration. "Damn you Natasha. Why do you always have to get Shane? He's my boyfriend."

She calms herself down and picks up her bag. "I have to keep Shane and keep him away from Natasha," she says walking back to her car.

***

Inside, Natasha is standing, holding her two long bars. The bars are supported on a short walkway. It is a system used for patients trying to regain their leg strength. They use the bars to hold themselves up and slowly walk along the way as much as they can.

Shane is at the end urging Natasha to try to walk as much as she can.

"You can do it ... come on. Just one little step. I know you can do it Nat," he says to her.

Natasha looks at Shane. Her legs ach and are in pain as she tries to shuffle them forward. She lets out a little cry as she moves her left leg forward. As soon as she takes a step, she feels the weight of her body start to collapse.

Shane catches her. "You did it! You took a step! I'm so proud of you!" he says holding her.

Natasha collapses further into his arms. "Thank you. It' hurts so much," she says he takes her back to her wheel chair. She sits in the chair and he bends down in front of her.

"You are so brave. You really took a step!"

"Thank you," she says getting misty. "I couldn’t have done it without you," she says.

He comes in and hugs her. As he pulls back their eyes lock. He leans in as though he is going to kiss her. She puts her hand behind his head and feels his hair.

"Shane," she whispers as their lips are about to touch.

He stops. "Yea," he says looking into her eyes. Natasha slowly shuts her eyes as he moves closer.

Suddenly his pager goes off. Shane jumps back. “Shoot, I have to take this.”

“Okay, can you take me back to me room?” she asks, startled at what was about to happen.

Shane moves his head back and sighs. "Yea, of course," he says. He shakes his head. What was he thinking? He knows he can't just kiss Natasha.

Natasha smiles at him. She was so close to giving in and kissing Shane again. 'This has to stop,' she says to herself as she realizes that she wanted to kiss Shane.

Scene Seven -- The Michaels Home; Chris, Daisy & Trenyce’s House

Trenyce has a large bright pink suite case laying on her bed. The suitcase is half-filled as she is getting ready for her trip to Milwaukee. She is struggling to figure out exactly what to pack. She's only gone for a weekend, but she feels like she wants to pack her entire closet.

Daisy knocks and opens the door. She comes in with two glasses of hot coco.

"I thought you could use a hot drink. The rain has made it a little chilly today," Daisy smiles to her niece.

"Thanks," Trenyce says.

"Looks like you're still packing. Want some help?"

"I'd like that. I'm only gone for four days, but I feel like it's been much longer. I want to take everything!"

Daisy laughs. "You're like your mother. She was always a heavy packer. Even when we were kids."

Trenyce smiles. She likes when others speak of her mom.

"Do you miss her?" Trenyce blurts out.

Daisy ponders the question for a second. Does she miss her twin sister? She doesn't miss the person that Danielle had become, but ...

"Of course I do. She was my twin. We always will be connected. I loved her very much," Daisy tells her. "And she gave us you. That's the best part of her."

Trenyce hugs Daisy. "Thank you. I really mean that Aunt Daisy. You've been so kind to me."

"It's because Chris and I love you. I hope you know that. You are family. Always will be. "

They hug again.

"Okay, enough mushy stuff. You are leaving in a few hours! You need to pack!" Daisy smiles as she turns her attention to the closet.

Once Daisy is out of the room, Trenyce falls onto her bed. She suddenly feels guilty. She walks over to her desk and opens the drawer and pulls out her diary. She opens it. She looks at the pages where she has indicated times that she has flirted with Chris. Is she doing the right thing? she asks herself. For months, Trenyce has been trying to seduce her uncle. She knows that Chris wants her, she can see it in her eyes. Now, she is about to go away, and Chris will be there too. She wonders if she can really go through with her plan ... to sleep with Chris and really avenge her mother's death. She sighs.

"Hey," she hears a voice at her door. She looks up and sees Andy.

"Andy, what are you doing here?" she says hiding her diary back in her drawer.

"Just wanted to come see how your packing was going. You okay? You look a million miles away," he says coming into her room.

"Yea, I am fine. Just thinking."

"You seem so ... subdued. What's up?"

Trenyce gets up and hugs her boyfriend. She starts to get tears in her eyes.

"Hey, what's going on?" he says noticing that she is near tears.

Trenyce moves back and wipes her eyes. "I feel like I am letting my Mom down," she says softly. "I ..."

Andy moves Trenyce to the bed and he sits next to her. "You're not letting your Mom down. She would be so proud of you T. You've become such a great person. She's smiling down on you," he says holding her hand.

"I came here with so many dreams of wanting to live up to her expectations. You know. Make everyone realize that she had dreams too. Make the people who hurt her know what they did ..."

Andy sighs. "You should always live for her T. Always try to do what's right by her. She's your Mom and always will be."

"You think so?"

"Of course I do," he says.

"Thanks Andy," she smiles knowing that she has to carry forward her plan to seduce Chris.

Scene Eight -- Capers

Dominick sits alone at the table. Robin left some time ago, but he was left thinking about what she said.

"I should fight for the woman I love," he says to himself as he takes a drink of his scotch. He quickly remembers last spring, how Robbie and Leah discovered his affair with Sofia. A few days later, Natasha's wedding took place and she was injured.

"She doesn't know yet!" he realizes. "Maybe the first step of getting Sofia back is telling Natasha the truth. Causing more friction for Bob and Sofia."

He stands up and starts to leave the restaurant ... with intentions of heading to the rehabilitation centre to tell Natasha the truth.

Scene Nine -- Roboto Enterprises; The Lab

Robin sits at her desk going over the sales figure from her latest perfume. She smiles when she realizes how good it's doing.

Cory arrives at the Lab and spots Robin. He didn't mean on being there today, but he stopped by earlier to say hi to Bob and give him the update on Natasha's rehab today. He thought of Robin and decided to come down and say hello.

He enters and the sliding door to the lab gets Robin's attention.

"Cory," she says. "What brings you by?"

"I was in the building. Thought I would come by," he admits.

She stands up and walks over to a large burner and shuts it off. "That was nice of you," she says trying to avoid him. "As you can see, I am still okay ... " she says, closing her eyes for a moment.

He comes up to her. "Are we going to do this forever?" he asks her.

"Do what?"

"Avoid each other. Pretend like each other doesn't exist?"

"I told you it's for the best that way." she says, holding her ground.

He comes up closer to her. "I can't pretend Robin."

"You made your choice Cory!" Robin says starting to cry.

He holds her and hugs her.

"I know. I'm sorry. I just ..." he starts to say. Instead of finishing his sentence he moves in and kisses her. Robin responds and the finally pulls away.

"Cory ... I ..."

"Shh, don't say anything," he says kissing her again passionately.

Suddenly Robin opens her eyes, and realizes that the last few second have been a dream.

“Are you okay Robin?” Cory asks. “You look like you spaced out for a minute.”

Robin fakes a smile quickly. “I’m fine. You should go though. I am busy, and fine. Promise.”

“Okay, but it was good seeing you,” Cory says before he turns to leave. At the door he turns back and watches Robin for a second before he disappears into the hallway.

Robin quickly turns and sees that he’s gone. She puts her hand to her mouth. “It was all a dream,” she whispers to herself wishing that somehow her dream will become a reality.
