Twin Peaks General Hospital

Donovan opens the door to the hospital room and immediately gets tears in his eyes as he sees Lukas laying in his hospital bed. In the bed next to Lukas, Craig is fast asleep. Donovan can't believe that on Christmas Day he, and Meggan, discovered that Lukas and Craig were, in fact, still alive. They had been lead to believe that they had died in the avalanche on Empress Mountain. Donovan just feels so lucky to have his husband back; he never wants to lose him again.

"You're back," Lukas smiles over to his husband as Donovan reaches him and bends down to hug him. "You're not leaving my side, huh?"

"Can you blame me?" Donovan smiles back to him as they share a quick kiss. "When they told me that there were no survivors…"

"Hey, we don't have to talk about that anymore. I'm here; Craig is here; we will be fine. The doctors told us both that we can leave tomorrow."

"I guess that means we will spend New Year's Eve in the hospital," Donovan winks back to him. "So much for partying, huh?"

Lukas chuckles back to him. "You don't have to stay if you don't want too. Go have some fun."

"This is the only place I want to be," Donovan replies to him as they hear the door open. Donovan turns his head to look and sees Meggan walk in. "Looks like you have another visitor."

"Hey Meg," Lukas grabs his sisters hand when she approaches his bed. "I'm glad to see you."

"I can't believe you're going to be okay," Meggan lets a tear fall down her cheek. "You have no idea how devastated Donovan and I were."

"Like I told Donovan, Craig and I are fine. We are just happy to be home," Lukas replies to him, as they hear Craig slowly start to wake up.

"Hey, Happy New Year," Donovan smiles over to his friend.

Craig slowly leans up in the bed and looks at his friends. "Happy New Year. Did you hear the news? We get to leave tomorrow."

"It's the best news we've heard," Meggan replies to him quickly.

"I still wish that I could remember everything that happened," Craig admits to everyone, as Lukas immediately gulps heavily as he remembers that he and Craig had sex in the cave the night before they were saved. Lukas, at this time, is grateful that Craig can't remember. He doesn't want to rock the boat with his marriage, even though he knows that Craig initiated the sex and he did it in hopes of saving Craig's life.

"I wouldn't worry about that," Donovan tells his friend. "Your memory will come back when it is meant too."

"I guess you're right," Craig uneasily smiles back to him before he locks eyes with Lukas. "I just want to know everything that Lukas did to save my life, that's all."

"My hero," Donovan winks to his husband, as Lukas gulps heavily again and uneasily chuckles back to everyone.

The Glubb's House; Shane's Home

"Are you sure you're not upset that we aren't going to the Pampa Grill for the New Year's party?" Shane asks Victoria as they sit on the sofa in Shane's house. He is happy that they are spending time together as they recently shared a kiss; he knows that they had been growing closer before Victoria's multiple personalities took over her life, so the fact that they shared a kiss recently makes him think that now that he and Victoria are back on track, which makes him happy.

Victoria takes a sip of her red wine before she looks back at her friend. "I am sure," she nods back to him. "The last few weeks have been so taxing thinking that Lukas died in that avalanche, it's nice to just relax for a while."

"Donovan must be over the moon with the news that Lukas, and Craig, are are alive after all."

"I've never seen him happier," Victoria nods back to him. "Other than when they got married. It's just to end the year on a good note."

"I am all on board to end the year on a high note," Shane smirks back to her as he leans up to her and gives her a kiss on the lips. "I hope you know that I'm really happy we are reconnecting. I've wanted this for so long."

Victoria looks into his eyes. "I know, me too."

"Really?" Shane asks her as she nods back to him. "I wasn't sure after you said you wanted to go slowly after we kissed."

"I am just nervous about jumping head first into something serious."

"I get that," Shane admits to her. "It doesn't have to be serious…"

Victoria chuckles back to him. "But, you still want to have sex, don't you?"

"I'm a man, of course I do."

She leans into him and kisses him passionately. "No strings, right?" she whispers in-between kisses.

"Right," Shane crawls on top of her as he continues to kiss her passionately.

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel; Greg's Suite

"I'm glad that you had a nice Christmas with Cheresa and the rest of your family," Kim tells Greg as he pours two glasses of champagne. The two are scheduled to go to the New Year's party together at the Pampa Grill but they agreed to meet first and have a glass of champagne together. They realize that making an appearance in public together will create a stir, especially if Robbie and Natasha are at the party, as they have long suspected that Greg and Kim have been having an affair, which is not true.

"Me too," Greg replies to her as he passes her a glass of bubbles. "I know this will sound petty, but it was great seeing Chris and Trenyce's smug looks off their faces when Cheresa decided to be with us. It's just nice to know that, despite learning who her biological parents are, Cheresa still thinks of Brooke and I as her parents."

"You raised her," Kim accepts the champagne from her friend. "No matter what else happens, that will never change."

"You look beautiful tonight, by the way," Greg observes Kim's sparkling white dress. "Sorry that I haven't told you that sooner."

"I'll take the compliment whenever I can get it," she purses her lips together. "How are you dealing with the fact that your marriage is over? I know it can't be easy for you."

"Brooke has made her decisions," Greg sighs back to her. "I should have known that our marriage was doomed a long time ago."

"It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt."

"I'm surviving," Greg smiles back to her. "How are you? Christmas must have been difficult without having Bob here."

"It was," Kim nods back to her. "But, I know that I have to live my life. Bob, he will always be with me, but I am still here and I only get one life to live."

"I'm glad you feel that way," he moves closer to her. "We could stay in and really live tonight?"

Kim blushes as she looks into Greg's eyes. "What are you saying?"

Greg leans in and kisses her passionately on the lips. "Let's make our own fireworks tonight?"

Kim smiles back to him and then kisses him passionately. "Yes, Greg," she moans as his lips reach her neck. "Make love to me. Make me feel alive again."

In Nicholas' suite, he pours two glasses of sparkling cider for himself and Andy to enjoy. He looks at his lover before he passes him a glass.

"Are you sure you don't want to go out tonight?" Nicholas asks Andy as he passes him the non-alcoholic beverage. "It could be fun to get out of here?"

"Nah," Andy accepts the glass of bubbles. "After the excitement at Caldwell's, I'd rather stay in. Besides, Lukas, Craig and Donovan won't be there and I don't really want to see your Mom."

Nicholas uneasily chuckles back to him. "I told my mother that I was in love with you and nothing was going to change that. My Dad even stepped in as a referee."

"I wish I had seen that," Andy chuckles back to him. "I can't thank you enough for standing by me in this, Nicholas. I know how powerful your mom can be."

"I love you," Nicholas looks into his eyes. "That will not change. Nothing will change that, especially not my mother."

"You know, if we are going to stay in tonight…"

"I thought you'd never ask," Nicholas leans in and gives Andy a kiss on the lips.

The Pampa Grill

The annual New Year's Eve party is under full swing at the restaurant which has removed all of its tables so the space is wide open for people mingle, dance and enjoy the h'orderves. Teal and sliver balloons and party favors are scattered throughout the venue with "2021" banners everywhere.

Melissa grabs a glass of champagne before she looks over at Phil, who takes a sip of his champagne. She is slightly annoyed that they agreed to stay in Twin Peaks over the holidays but they have not seen Nicholas again since they left the mountain resort. In her mind, this is another way that Andy is damaging her son.

"Well, it's getting close to midnight and there's no sign of Nicholas," she sighs to her husband before she takes a sip of her the bubbles in front of her. "I don't know why we stated in this God forsaken town over these holidays."

"If my memory serves me correct, you said something like 'I am not leaving here until I get my son away from the shrew of a man!'" Phil mocks his wife and then chuckles over to her. "I don't mean to make fun of you, I'm sorry. But you had your reasons."

"Yes, I damn well did!" Melissa replies to him. "I have an idea my darling husband. I think I know exactly how I am going to get Andy away from our son."

Phil arches his brow back to her. "Why do I get the feeling that I won't like this…?"

Melissa chuckles back to him. "Just leave it up to me, Phillip. I will make sure Nicholas doesn't make a huge mistake by staying with Andy Spinnes. Mark my words."

Brooke grabs a glass of champagne as she scans the restaurant wondering if she will see Greg at the party. She hopes that Christmas was the first step to them rebuilding their family, despite him telling her that he would never forgive her for sleeping with Robbie. However, the fact that Cheresa wanted to spend Christmas with her, Greg, Abby and Brad and they spent a great day together. It has given Brooke hope that, maybe, her family could be restored.

"You decided to come," a voice calls out to her causing Brooke to turn around and sees Robbie approaching her. "I wasn't sure if I'd see you tonight or not since the arrest."

Brooke sighs and realizes that the next year will be a very trying one as she will be facing charges for fraud from when she bought Cheresa from the black market. "Thanks for the reminder," she winks back to him. "I just hope I can beat these charges. I really don't know what I would do if I ended up having to go to jail."

"I meant what I said when I bailed you out, Brooke," he looks into her eyes. "I am in your corner. Anything that you need, just ask."

"Thanks Robbie," Brooke purses her lips together. "I appreciate that more than you'll ever know."

"I mean it," he nods back to her. "Where is Greg tonight, by the way?"

"I wish I knew," she tells him. "I had hoped he'd be here tonight."

Robbie uneasily nods back to her, secretly hoping that they would have been able to have a future together since her marriage imploded with the truth about their affair. That, however, seems to be the last thing on Brooke's mind tonight however.

"Well, happy New Year."

"Happy New Year to you too," Brooke smiles back to him.

"Did you hear that Lukas and Craig were found alive?" Trenyce takes a sip of her champagne before she looks over at Tyler with intent. She can't help but wonder if this could mean that Daisy and Vinny also survived the avalanche; it has given her hope that Daisy is still alive, which would be the best news for her.

"I did," Tyler takes a sip of his champagne. "As soon as I found out, I contacted Simona Lopez and told her that I want the search for Daisy and Vinny to be reopened."

"And? What did she say?"

"She said she would look into it as she wasn't sure if the risk of another avalanche was still on-going or not," Tyler replies to her quickly.

"That doesn't make sense," Trenyce shakes her head back to him. "If they were able to save Craig and Lukas from the side of a mountain, they can damn well search to see if Daisy is alive! The longer this takes …"

"I know, I feel the exact same way." Tyler replies to her. "If there's any chance that Daisy is alive, we have to find out. I guess the only thing that I'm worried about is, if she is alive, where is she? Why hasn't she made her presence known?"

"I don't know," Trenyce shakes her head back to him. "But we have to find out."

Helen twirls around so she doesn't have to face the dance floor, where she was watching Adam and Robin slow dance to a song playing. The last thing that she wants shoved in her face is her ex-husband and his fiancé dancing closely to one another. Ever since she was saved from the coffin, she has been struggling with her feelings for Adam; the fact that Dawn, recently, has been telling her that she wants her parents back together has not helped her cause any. If anything, it has made her want Adam even more.

"I'm sorry that you have to see that," Dawn comes up to her mother, having also noticed that Adam and Robin were dancing together. "I wish Dad would leave Robin."

"That is not going to happen," Helen smiles back to her daughter. "We have to accept that your father is very happy with Robin."

"Ugh," Dawn groans back to her. "I just wish he'd realize that we are his family, not Robin."

"That's not our decision to make," Helen nods back to her. "I'm going to run to the ladies room. I'll be right back."

As Helen moves towards the washroom, Robin quickly rushes up to her. "Helen, hi, Happy New Year."

Helen turns to face Adam's fiancé. "Happy New Year, Robin."

"Are you having a good time? It seems like a lot of people decided to pass on the party this year?"

"Yea, I guess," Helen shrugs her shoulders back to her. "I think I'll leave soon. The party, it's not really my scene."

"That's too bad. I know Adam would love to say happy New Year just after 12."

"Adam and I are still very close, he'll get his chance," Helen tells her, suddenly realizing that there could be a way to get Adam and Robin away from one another.

"Yes, you two are close. You always will be having been married for so many years," Robin uneasily smiles back to her.

"Recently, too," Helen nods back to her. "I don't know if he ever told you, but he was impotent after the accident at the boutique."

Robin uneasily looks back at her with some confusion written on her face. "I was the one who cured him of that," Helen reveals to her. "You can put the pieces together of how that happened. Anyways, I'm going to take off. Happy New Year, Robin."

Robin stands still wondering if what Helen could have said was true or not. If it is, why would Adam not tell her that he slept with Helen? Why has he been lying to her this entire time, especially when she has been so insecure.

"Hey, I'm glad you're here," Andrew quickly walks up to Paige, who is standing next to Max each with a glass of champagne. "We really need to talk."

Paige looks at Max and then over at Andrew, wondering what this is all about. "Andrew? Is everything okay? It seems serious."

Andrew looks at his ex-girlfriend and then over at Max and feels his blood start to boil as he believes he has finally figured out why Paige dumped him all those months ago; he recalls how he overheard Abby and Max talking about what they did the night at Andrew's apartment and how Paige could never find out as she would leave Max. The more that Andrew has thought about it, the more he realizes that somehow, they must have told Paige that Abby kissed him. It is the only thing that makes sense.

"It is serious," Andrew glares at Max, who gulps wondering what is up. Suddenly, Abby passes by them and Andrew looks at her. "Abby, wait, come over here. What I have to say involves you too."

Abby looks over at Max who shrugs back to her indicating that he has no idea what is about to happen. "You're scaring me Andrew, is everything okay?" Paige asks him.

"You never told me why you broke up with me," Andrew looks at Paige. "But, I think I have figured it out. You knew that Abby kissed me one night at my place, right?"

Paige feels the blood drain from her face as she recalls going to Andrew's with Max that night and when they opened the door, Abby and Andrew were kissing. "Yea, it is right. It was so long ago."

"It wasn't an accident," Andrew stuns her by saying that. "Max and Abby, they planned for you to see me kissing Abby. Nothing ever happened between Abby and I but that's not what they wanted it to look like. They planned the whole thing. They broke us up!"

Paige shakes her head in confusion. "That makes no sense, why would they do that."

"You can stop talking now, cause you have no idea what you're saying," Max grits his teeth back to Andrew.

"It's because Max wanted to be with you and Abby has wanted to be with me," Andrew ignores Max's plead, as the countdown into the new year can be heard by the other guests at the party. "I heard them talking at the hospital the other day; they said if you ever knew the truth, you'd leave Max. Don't you see? All this time, they've played us for fools!"

Paige gets tears in her eyes as she realizes that someone else has lied to her. It's bad enough she is dealing with the drama of Jeff and Leah, and now this. She looks at Max in desperation. "Please, please tell me this isn't true…" she starts to tell him as Max stutters and the rest of the crowd yells "Happy New Year". "Oh my God…"

"Paige, I can explain…" Max says as Paige rushes off and he leaves to find her but Andrew grabs him and punches him the face. "You asshole!"

"That's for ruining my life," Andrew spits back to him.

"Andrew stop!" Abby squeals back to him.

"Shut up, Abby," he sneers at her. "You've never been my friend. Not once. Happy fucking New Year, but do me a favor, and go to hell!"
