Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

"I can't believe that in a few short hours we are actually going to be husband and wife," Cassie< purses her lips together as she wraps her silk robe over her naked body and then she turns to look at Jacob, who is sitting up in the bed with a cup of coffee in his hands. After months of planning, her wedding day to Jacob has finally arrived; she has wanted this day to arrive for so long, she almost can't believe that it is here. She just hopes that everything goes off accordingly to plan as she knows that Natasha and Shane have been very against the wedding.

Jacob stands up and pulls some boxer shorts over his naked body before he moves up to his fiancé. "It is finally here, the big day. Are you nervous?"

"About marrying you?" Cassie asks him as she runs her finger along his toned chest. "Not at all. I'm excited. I can't wait to start our lives together. Are you nervous?"

"Nope," Jacob grins back to her. "Today is the day we are both going to get what we've have both wanted for so long. I'm just glad it is here!"

"Speaking of," Cassie looks at the clock behind her. "We only have 20 minutes before the limo will arrive to take us to the church! We better get a move on it!"

Wild Night; The Offices

Robbie paces back and forth in the offices of Wild Night as he thinks about his day in court when Kim announced to everyone that he was sleeping with Brooke. He still can't believe that she knew of the affair and that she announced in the manner that she did. He realizes that Brooke has to know what has happened because anyone could have records to the trial, which means her family could find out about the affair at the drop of hat. He wants to be the one to tell her this news even though he knows that she will be devastated.

"Damn you Kim," he grits his teeth together, thinking about his stepmother's announcement. "You really are a bitch."

"Robbie?" Brooke's voice calls out as she walks up the stairs. "I got here as soon as I could, but if this is about you trying to change my mind about us…"

Robbie turns to face her when she enters the office. He knows that after the first day of court, they ended up in bed again, despite her telling him that they could only be friends. The following day, she once again told him via text that they were over and their affair had to end.

"It's not about you and I," Robbie looks at her. "At least, not in the way that you think."

"What is it? What's going on?"

"It's Kim," he whispers back to her. "She knows about you and I."

"What? How is that possible? She's friends with Greg! She might tell him!" Brooke shrieks wondering how any of this is happening, especially since she and Greg are in a very good place right now.

"She already did…" he begins to tell her. "You see, she announced that we slept together at the trial. Our affair, it's public record now," he reveals to her as Brooke gasps out loud, horrified by what she just learned.

The Calimo Mansion; The Guesthouse

Paige slowly walks down the stairs of the guesthouse and yawns as she reaches the base. She rubs her eyes a little before she moves back in surprise; Max is fast asleep on the sofa in the living room. She remembers how the previous night he treated to her a glass of wine and a piece of cake at the Pampa Grill and then he drove her home. She remembers that they stayed up for a while talking and then he fell asleep so she went upstairs to bed.

"I guess I'll make a pot of coffee for both of us," she whispers to herself as she creeps through the living room and into the kitchen. She starts to make a pot of coffee when she accidently drops one of the coffee mugs on the floor. Luckily it doesn't break, but she fears the noise is going to wake up Max. "Damn," she whispers to herself as she bends down to pick up the cup from the floor.

When she stands up straight, she sees Max standing in front of her, shirtless and only in his jeans. "Sorry," she tells him. "I didn't mean to wake you up."

He chuckles back to her. "It's fine," he tells her. "Good morning beautiful. I didn't mean to crash here last night."

"Don't worry about it," she replies to him. "The mansion is a good drive away from the city, it was easier for you."

"Thanks, and I'd love some coffee when it's ready."

"It'll be a couple of minutes," she tells him as she moves up to him and kisses him. "Good morning back, by the way."

"Mmm, I like that kind of sugar in the morning," he grins back to her before he kisses her passionately back. Their lips part for a minute. "Do you have to be anywhere this morning?"

"No, do you?"

"Nope," he looks back at her with lust in his eyes. "I have protection," he tells her as he kisses her again.

"Are you sure?" she asks him as they look at one another again.

"My God yes," he replies to her. "Are you?"

She responds by grabbing his hand and leading up out of the kitchen and to the stairs towards the bedroom.

Dominick's Townhouse

"I just can't believe that Leah would demand that you leave the house," Eva tells Dominick, Felicia and Tyler as they sit at the small breakfast table and Eva just heard about how when Jeff and Leah found out that Dominick gave Paige some money, they lost their cool with him and demanded that he leave their house. Of course, they had frozen Paige's access to her trust fund after she moved out of their house in protest of them wanting her to end her relationship with Paige. "That's not like her at all."

"Neither can I," Tyler agrees with Eva's notion that it was out of character for Leah. "She's usually so calm and cool."

"This situation with Paige has slowly been brewing for a while now," Felicia picks up her cup of coffee. "Jeff and Leah both have concerns with this Max boy but haven't really said why. That being said, I agree with Dominick that we have to help Paige. The poor girl needed some money; how was she supposed to get by?"

"The last thing I wanted to do was to come between Leah and Paige," Dominick admits to his family. "I hate that she is upset with me. But, I didn't know the entire story either."

"I think Leah owes you an apology," Tyler tells his father. "After all, if none of us know the reason as to why they are against Max, why wouldn't we help Paige? I've always thought of Max as a good young guy; he was one hell of a photographer when he worked at Robertson."

"Something must be setting Leah and Jeff off," Eva echoes in. "The question is, what is it? Why are they so opposed to this Max kid?"

"It doesn't matter right now," Tyler grabs his father's hand. "Just know that you have my support, Dad."

"And mine," Felicia nods over to her ex-husband, which annoys Eva. She knows that no matter what Felicia will always support Dominick, and she can't shake the feeling that she still has lingering feelings for him, and that drives her absolutely crazy.

Robertson Enterprises

"Brad hi," Jeff says as he walks up to the corporate security guard, who stands up from his chair in the hallway of the Robertson Enterprises building. "How was the night shift?"

"Uneventful," Brad looks back to him. "Which is the best kind of shift when you're in security."

Jeff chuckles back to him realizing that what he is saying makes sense. "That is very true. I'm glad it was a low key night. We have so much work to get through today."

"I'm excited to see what this line is all about," Brad admits to him. "I'm just security, so I don't know all the details."

"I'm sure you and Meggan will get an invite to the launch in November," Jeff replies to him as he unlocks his office door.

"Yea we might," Brad huffs back to him, not realizing his tone changed.

"Why do you say it like that?" Jeff asks him, suddenly recalling how he witnessed what seemed to be a tense moment between Meggan and Brad recently. "Is everything okay?"

"Meggan and I, we are over," Brad reveals to him as Jeff looks back at him in surprise. "And nothing I do will ever make it up to her."

The Pampa Grill

"So, you see the reason we invited you here today," Adam begins to tell Dawn as she sits across the table from him while Robin takes a sip of her coffee. "Is because we have some news for you. We asked Max to join us too, but we haven't heard back from him just yet."

"Why do I get the feeling this isn't going to be good news?" Dawn asks him back before she looks over at Robin, who forces a smile on her face.

"It actually is very good news," Robin replies to her quickly.

"Robin and I, we've decided to get married," Adam informs his daughter. "This time, we hope that nothing will interrupt the ceremony."

Dawn feels the blood drain from her face; she had hoped that with Helen returning that her parents would get back together. She knows that Helen needs Adam right now; the fact that her father is ignoring that and proceeding with his marriage to Robin just feels so wrong to her.

"Most people get excited when they hear two people are getting married," Adam winks over to his daughter. "I had hoped that you'd be excited by this?"

Dawn shakes her head and forces a smile on her face. "Of course, yes, congratulations," she manages to say back to him before she stands up from her seat. "If you'll excuse me."

"Dawn…" Adam stands up and calls out to his daughter, who rushes away from the table. He sits back down and looks over at Robin. "I'm sorry, I had hoped that would go better."

"It's not your fault," Robin replies to him. "I'm sure she was thinking you and Helen would get back together now that she is back."

"You're probably right," Adam tells her. "I just hope she can come to terms with this."

"She will," Robin smiles back to him. "Once we are married, she won't have a choice."

Dawn rushes up to the sink in the washroom of the restaurant and splashes some cold water on her face. She feels her heart racing at the thought of Adam marrying Robin. She slowly feels like the walls are closing in together in on her.

"This can't happen," she tells herself as she dries her face. "Mom needs you Dad, why can't you see that?"

She opens her purse and finds her anti-depressants and quickly swallows down three of the pills. She takes a deep breath hoping that the pills quickly calm her down from the rush she is feeling.

At the bar of the restaurant, Abby and Cheresa sit next to one another as they each have a glass of wine in front of them. They are both pretty pleased with how things are going with their family currently, as they all got together for breakfast the previous day. They don't know all of the details, of course, but they have felt the tension between Brooke and Greg in the past, so the fact that they are seemingly getting along now makes them happy.

"It really was wonderful seeing Mom and Dad so happy, hey?" Abby picks up her glass of wine and takes a sip.

"I'd say so," Cheresa nods back to her. "They've never given us any indication of what was going on but I've always suspected that something as up with them."

"They just haven't always seemed happy," Abby agrees with her. "It just feels nice knowing that as a family we are really strong right now."

"I agree," Cheresa tells her. "I just hope that my plan to look into my biological parents doesn't rock the boat."

"Nah," Abby waves her hand back to her. "You were open and honest with them about that; if they had an issue, they would have told you."

"I hope so."

"I know so," Abby tells her before she chuckles back to her. "Nothing will come between our family, Cheresa. I really think we are entering a new phase for the Lawson clan."

Cheresa laughs back to her. "A new era, hey?"

"Exactly!"

Roboto

Kim sits behind Bob's old desk with a huge smile on her face as she won the case against Natasha and Robbie where they tried to contest Bob's will. She still can't believe that the Judge ruled in her favor; she was so worried that he was going to agree to Robbie and Natasha's protest and she would lose everything. Thankfully, that didn't happen and now, Kim can move forward knowing that she has every right to stay in the Calimo mansion and keep her job at Roboto.

"Thank God the Judge saw things my way," she whispers to herself, as she recalls Cory telling her about Robbie and Brooke's affair, which she announced at the trial. "Cory helping me was the real surprise. The fact that Robbie is sleeping with Brooke could have been the turning point for me."

"I hear congratulations are in order," a voice calls out at the doorway of the office. Kim looks over and sees Greg standing there; she immediately stands up to greet her friend as she had hoped to see him again. She knows the last time they saw one another, she kissed him. She felt bad for her actions and texted him that they could only be friends.

"Greg," she whispers back to him. "Yes, they are. Thank you. I really mean that, thank you for your support during all of this. You have proven that you're a really good friend."

"You know that I care about you, Kim."

"I do," Kim nods back to him. "And, I'm sorry that I sent you that text. It's just…"

"No, I get it," he tells her. "You have always maintained that you just wanted to be friends. I finally get that."

"Really? You're not upset with me?"

Greg shakes his head no. "Not in the least," he admits to her. "In fact, it made me realize that Brooke and I are really solid. We are in a really good place now. And, I have you to thank for that."

Greg pulls her into a hug as Kim gulps, knowing that his wife is sleeping with Robbie. "I hope that we can still be friends, I really do."

Kim gulps again. "Of course," she replies to him as they exit their embrace. "I'll always be there when you need me."

Wild Night; The Offices

"My God," the blood drains from Brooke's face as Robbie just revealed that Kim announced their affair in the courtroom. That means that her affair is on public record; anyone at any time could read the transcript and find out what they've done, including Greg. She realizes that this timing is the worst possible time as she and Greg are finally in a very good place. "What am I going to do?"

"If you want my honest opinion, I'd tell Greg the truth before he finds out from someone else. You have to tell your husband the truth."

Brooke uneasily nods back to him. "I hate this Robbie," she tells him. "But you're right; I have to tell Greg the truth before he finds out from someone else."

The Calimo Mansion

"What have you come up with to stop the wedding?" Shane asks Natasha as he sees his ex-wife looking out of the French doors and into the garden as they stand in the living room of the mansion. Shane knows that Natasha has been determined to stop Jacob's wedding to Cassie, but nothing has happened as of yet. He realizes that she has been occupied with the court case in which she and Robbie were trying to contest Bob's will, but now that it's over, they are running out of time as Jacob is scheduled to marry Cassie later in the day.

Natasha sighs and turns back around to him. "Absolutely nothing," she admits to him in defeat. "I've been so focused on the trial that I haven't had time to think about what could stop the wedding."

"I offered to pay Cassie off," Shane reveals to her as she gasps in surprise. "But she didn't take the bait."

"Great," Natasha rolls her eyes. "How the hell are we going to stop this wedding now?"

"I wish I knew."

They both look over their shoulders when they hear someone shuffle into the living room. Natasha is horrified to see Cory standing there in a tuxedo with Sophie in his arms in a light pink dress.

"What are you going all dressed up?" she asks her husband as she moves and kisses her daughter on the cheek.

"We are going to the church to support Jacob," Cory reveals to her. "You know, your son is getting married today."

"You're not actually going to see this train wreck, are you?" Natasha gasps back to him. "I can't believe you!"

"At the end of the day Nat, this is what Jacob wants and I will be there to support him," Cory replies to her. "This is exactly what I was talking to you about; you're determined to pull this family a part instead of healing. I'm trying to keep the peace, and if you, and you Shane, want Jacob in your lives going forward, you'll show up at the church to support him."

St. Joseph's Church

The stretch black limo slowly pulls up to the front of the church and comes to a complete stop. The driver rushes to the back doors to open them allowing Jacob and Cassie to emerge. They look at one another before they start to walk up the front steps of the church.

"I can't believe we are actually about to do this," Cassie tells him as they continue to walk to the front doors.

"Believe it," Jacob smiles back to him before he opens the door for her and she moves inside the church.

"Are you upset that your parents won't be here? I know that you'd like them here."

Jacob shrugs back to her. "I wish they would be here," he admits to her. "But, this is their choice. They are going to miss the best moment of my life."

"I wish I could do something to make you feel better," Cassie leans in and kisses him.

"Don't worry Cass," he replies to her quickly. "Today will be the best day of my life. You'll see. We're going to get everything we deserve today, whether my parents are here or not."

Next on One Day at a Time
