Caldwell's Mountain Ski Resort

"What do you mean I'm not leaving here for a long time?" a shaken Brett asks his brother as he stands in a prison-cage; he actually has no idea where he is however, but after he got out of jail, he never imagined he'd be locked up again so soon. Brett recalls that he was in LA when two men knocked him out; when he came too, he was in this cage. He has no idea where he is or what has happened but now Vinny is standing in front of him; when Brett asked his brother to help him escape, Vinny said he wasn't going anywhere.

Vinny uneasily chuckles back to him. "You see, Brett, this was all my idea," he reveals to his brother. "This is all a part of my master plan."

"What master plan are you talking about? Why are you talking in riddles right now?"

"I want revenge damnit!" Vinny shouts back to him, not concerned that anyone will hear him as he sound proofed the room after he bought the ski resort. No one knows that he is now the owner of the Lodge and that's just the way he likes it. He has been slowly putting this all into motion and buying the ski resort was the first step; then sound proofing this storage room in the basement of the resort. "Daisy and Tyler, they slept together while I was married to her. Do you have any idea how embarrassing that has been for me? No, they will pay for what they've done to me!"

Brett moves closer to the bars that surround him. "I don't understand what that has to do with me Vinny."

"Nor did I," Vinny replies to him quickly. "Until I saw you in LA and you told me you were designing for that local firm. That's when I realized that I could use you to get closer to Daisy and Tyler and they would have no idea," Vinny explains to him. "You see, Brett, I've stolen your designs and passed them off as my own. I got hired at Robertson Enterprises and am now closer to Daisy and Tyler than ever before."

"My designs? Damnit Vinny, no one is going to believe that you suddenly started designing!"

Vinny chuckles back to him. "That's where you're wrong, Brett. Everyone believes me, including Daisy and Tyler. That's what really matters."

"What are you going to do? How is this going to get revenge on Daisy and Tyler?"

"That, my dear brother, is going to happen in due time. Right now, I need you to come up with more designs," Vinny informs him. "I need you to create some more winter pieces so I can continue with my plan."

"You're crazy if you think you can lock me up and I'm going to help you!" Brett sneers back to him, as Vinny shoots up a deadly look.

Tyler's Townhouse

"I'm sorry that Vinny startled you at my Dad's office," Tyler tells Daisy as they lay in his king size bed, fresh from making love to one another. They crawled into bed as soon as they got home from the office as they both needed to blow off some steam. Daisy is just recounting to her lover how Vinny was at Dominick's office when she was leaving him some reports and her ex-husband showed up at the same time and they ended up sharing words with one another.

"It's not that he scared me really," Daisy replies to him as she lifts her head from his chest. "It's just … I still find this entire idea that he is designing very odd. He never showed any interest in design when we were married. How can he explain that he is suddenly a designer, and a very good one, at that?"

"I spoke to Trenyce at the office," Tyler admits to her as they lock eyes with each other. "She told me that she confronted Vinny about it and he said he turned to the creative outlet to help him cope with the divorce."

"That's what Vinny told me too," Daisy huffs back to him. "I don't know, Tyler, this still feels super weird to me. I can't place it, but I have a very uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach about all of this."

"Come here," Tyler grabs her face and leans in and kisses her passionately. "I have an idea of how to make you feel better."

Daisy smiles back to him as their lips part. "Round two, huh?"

"Are you up for it?"

"Of course I am," she purrs back to him before they start to kiss again.

Robertson Enterprises

"You're still here?" Dominick asks as he opens the door to Trenyce's office and he can see that she is behind her desk still. He only stopped by to grab something he forgot and happened to see the light on in Trenyce's office.

"I'm just about to leave," Trenyce looks over at her boss. "We have another busy day tomorrow."

"That we do," Dominick nods back to her as he moves up to her desk. "Are these some of your designs that you've been working on since the last staff meeting?"

"Yea, what do you think? Honest opinion?"

Dominick picks up the pieces of paper and reviews the designs on them. "I think they're really very good," Dominick looks back to her. "I really like the fur on this one. Do you know what Vinny is working on?"

"No," Trenyce admits to him. "I asked him what he was going to do so we wouldn't create something similar but he said he was going to Caldwell's to get inspired. I haven't heard back from him since…"

"Ah, well, I'm sure they'll be great too. He really has a talent for it."

Trenyce uneasily nods back to him. "That's true, he does. I just hope he doesn't take my job."

"That will never happen," Dominick winks back to her. "You're my star, he's just brought on to ensure this line is everything it can be and more."

"I hope this line and launch goes off according to our plans, Dominick. I really do."

"I don't think anything can go wrong," he tells her. "We have all of our bases covered. Everything will be perfect, I just know it."

Twin Peaks Executive Hotel

"Is there a reason that you didn't want to meet me at the Pampa Grill?" Robin asks her brother as she moves into his hotel room and throws her purse on the arm chair that faces the large window. Robin had invited Nicholas to join her for a late dinner at the restaurant, but he declined and asked her to come to his hotel room. She knows that he has been spending a lot of time in his room since the Gala at St. Joseph's happened but she wants to encourage him to get out more as staying in his room could lead to him getting depressed.

"I just didn't feel like going out," Nicholas sighs back to her before he moves up and gives her a slight hug. "And, the last time I was there, I ran into Andy. He's the last person I want to see."

"That very well may be," Robin replies to him quickly. "But you can't spend all your time in this room. It's not good for you!"

"I know," Nicholas admits to her. "I went out for about 30 minutes earlier today to help some friends," Nicholas tells her, thinking about how he helped Lukas and Donovan with their hot air balloon ride. He still doesn't feel like he should leave however; too much has happened and he feels like everyone is judging him when he's out and about.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Robin chuckles back to him. "A half hour is nothing, Nicholas. Look, I don't mean to hassle you about this, I'm just worried about you."

Nicholas uneasily nods back to her. "I know and I appreciate it," he tells her. "I'm just … I don't know where to go from here. The church was my entire world and now it's gone. And before that, my partner was my entire world and we know how that ended… everything I love is always taken away from me."

"That's not true," Robin moves to him. "I'm still here. And even though she has a funny way of showing it, Mom is still here and she loves you."

"Thanks," Nicholas feels his eyes swell with water. "I just feel like I have nothing left. And, I'm not sure that I will ever get over this feeling again."

The Pampa Grill

"I can't believe that you arranged that hot air balloon ride for us," a beaming Donovan says as he looks across the table at Lukas as he recalls Nicholas taking him to meet Lukas earlier in the day and was surprised when Lukas surprised him with a hot air balloon ride. Donovan wasn't sure what was going to happen as the last time he saw his boyfriend, he proposed to Lukas and he said no and rushed off. In the hot air balloon, Lukas explained that he was caught off guard by the proposal and stunned Donovan by asking him to marry him; Donovan, of course, said yes. Once they landed, they came to the restaurant to celebrate with champagne.

"I knew I had to make a grand gesture after rushing out on you," Lukas admits to him. "I'm just glad you agreed to go for the ride with me."

Donovan chuckles back to him. "You and Nicholas were convincing," he replies to him. "And, I love you, the least I could do was hear you out. And now look at us, we are engaged!"

"I'm glad you said yes," Lukas smiles back to him.

"I didn't have anywhere to run off too," Donovan winks back to him causing Lukas to swat his arm. "Sorry, too soon for that joke. I love you, I can't wait to be your husband."

"I love you too," Lukas licks his lips as he moves over and kisses Donovan passionately.

At the entrance of the restaurant, Craig looks on and sees the couple kissing. He realizes that Lukas must have taken his advice with Donovan and made amends with him. He isn't sure why but he feels his heart sink when he sees them kiss. He turns and he leaves the restaurant, suddenly losing his appetite altogether.

***

"After you asked me to go with you to the Robertson launch in November, I thought our day was over with," Paige grins back over to Max, who is treating his girlfriend to a glass of wine and a piece of chocolate cake. "But, I'm not complaining."

"Good," Max looks back at her. "I wasn't ready to say goodbye to you yet. Is that silly?"

"Not at all," Paige winks back to him. "I wasn't ready either. Besides, this wine and cake are the perfect ways for me to get my mind off my parents."

"Still no word from them, huh?"

"No and I'm not expecting anything from them," Paige replies to him. "They really crossed a line though, telling me that I can't see you and then freezing my trust funds. Like, it's insane."

"I know you feel that way," Max nods back to her. "I've had my share of issues with my parents, more so my Dad, so I get how complicated it can be."

"You'll have to tell me that full story one day," Paige says back to him, causing Max to gulp a little knowing that he can't ever tell Paige the full story about his relationship with Adam as it could land him in some very hot water.

"Yea, one day," Max chuckles back to her. "Finish your wine and I'll drive you home?"

"I'd love that," Paige purses her lips together.

Andrew peers around the corner and sees Paige and Max together and feels his blood boil. He still has no idea why Paige ended their relationship but seeing her together with Max so soon really annoys him. He recalls how he kissed Albertinah at the school earlier and nods his head. "I'm moving on too," he whispers to himself, knowing that Albertinah told him that they could kiss again, even though he suspects she liked it just as much as he did. "You're not the only one, Paige."

The Claus Home; Jeff & Leah's Home

"You mean to tell me that Paige has moved out of the house?" a startled Felicia asks Jeff and Leah as she stands in the living room of her daughter's home. "Where exactly did she go? How is she going to pay rent?"

"Robbie agreed to let her stay on at the Calimo guesthouse," Leah explains to her mother. "Don't worry, we've reached out to Paige and we've tried to get her to come home."

"All of this because of some boy she's dating?" Felicia asks next. "Why are you two so against her seeing this Max?"

"It is a long story," Jeff tells her, knowing that Robin has sworn them to secrecy about Max's role in Adam's accident a few years ago. "You just have to trust us when we say he is bad news."

"I don't like anyone of this," Felicia covers her mouth. "Why can't this family just have some peace for once?"

Before Leah or Jeff can reply, the doorbell rings. "I wonder who that could be at this hour," Leah says as she rushes to the front door. She is surprised to see Dominick standing on the other side. "Daddy, hi, come in."

"Thank you sweetheart," Dominick replies as he walks into the living room. "I hope it's not too late, I was just heading home and saw the lights on, so I thought I'd come say good night. What's going on in here?"

"Jeff and Leah just told me that Paige has moved out of the house," Felicia informs him. "Can you believe this?"

"Yes, yes," Dominick nods back to her. "Paige came to see me earlier today. She told me everything."

"She did?" Leah gasps back to him.

"She asked me for a loan since you two have cut her off from her trust fund," Dominick explains to his family.

"Please tell me you said no," Jeff grits his teeth together. "Please tell me you didn't go against our wishes. We were trying to force her hand into coming home."

"No," Dominick shakes his head. "I gave her money free and clear. I thought it was the right thing to do."

"I can't believe this!" Jeff yells at him. "Here we are trying to teach our daughter a lesson and you just give her handouts left, right and center!"

"I didn't…"

"No, Jeff is right Daddy," Leah looks at him with intent. "You had no right to do this! This wasn't your place to get involved!"

"Paige is my granddaughter!" Dominick defends himself to his daughter. He can't believe that they are so outraged that he gave Paige some cash. "What did you want me to do? Let her go without any money at all? How in the hell was she going to survive?"

"I think you should leave Dad," Leah shakes her head back to him. "Until you can respect our decisions as parents, I have nothing left to say to you! We are trying to get through to our daughter!"

"But…"

"Get out!" Leah yells at him. "Get out now!"

Caldwell's Mountain Ski Resort

"You're in no position to be making threats," Vinny tells Brett, who just informed him that he won't design for him. "I put you in that damn cage because it is the only way I knew you'd help me!"

"Vinny, I would help you even if I wasn't trapped in here," Brett tries to tell him. "You have to believe me. I meant it when I said I wanted us to be closer."

Vinny rolls his eyes. "Please save it," he tells his brother. "Call this karma then … you locked me up for years, it's my turn to return the favor."

Brett looks back at his brother in horror wondering how he can get out of this. "So, if I don't design for you, what are you going to do to me?"

"Nothing," Vinny smiles back to him. "I'll make sure you stay in that cage with no food or water until you die of starvation."

"You wouldn't dare!"

"Watch me," Vinny sneers back to him. "No one knows you here Brett, everyone thinks you're in LA. So, if you don't do exactly what I say, you're a dead man. So, what's it going to be? Are you going to design some stupid winter wear or are you going to die? The choice is yours."
