The Calimo Mansion

"What an incredibly long day," Natasha pours herself a glass of wine as she stands in the living room of her childhood home. She takes a sip of the liquid before she looks around and is instantly taken back to so many moments with Sofia, Bob and Robbie from her yesteryears. She's brought back to her present, however, as she recalls how she and Robbie took Kim to court to contest Bob's will; they do not want their stepmother to be left with the Calimo estate, a job at Roboto and a third of Bob's fortune, not after everything Kim has done to their father. "I need this glass of wine."

Cory takes off his sport jacket and throws it over an arm chair. He moves over to the bar and pours himself a scotch and immediately takes a sip of it.

"You seem quiet," Natasha observes back to her husband. "You're not still mad at me, are you? Cory, you know damn well why Robbie are doing this."

"Mad at you?" Cory asks her back as he swallows down some of his drink. "No, Natasha, I'm not mad at you. I'm disgusted with you and Robbie."

"You're being incredibly unfair right now."

"I'm being unfair?" Cory snaps back to her. "That's rich considering you're trying to rip everything Kim has away from her! You claim to love your father, but you're going against his very last wishes."

"After everything Kim has done…"

"Oh shut up," Cory cuts her off. "Bob was no angel, so stop acting like he was. Did Kim hurt your father? Absolutely. But he did his share of damage."

"I wish you would support me in this," Natasha's lower lip quivers. "I don't like being at odds with you."

"Then end this and end it now," Cory replies to her quickly. "You have the ability to pull his family together, but instead you're driving us all further apart. First with this Kim situation and with Jacob and not supporting his marriage to Cassie Nova."

"You know damn well why I can't support that marriage!"

"If you're trying to drive everyone away from you Natasha, keep it up, you're doing a great job."

Before Natasha can reply, Jacob appears in the entry way of the living room. "I'm not interrupting am I?"

"Not at all," Cory replies to him. "I was just about to head upstairs and check on Sophie."

"Cory, we aren't done with this conversation," Natasha tells her husband as he walks out of the door.

Jacob notices the tension between his mother and Cory. "Is everything okay?"

"No," Natasha looks at her son. "And, I'm not sure it ever will be again."

The Pampa Grill

Kim slowly lifts her glass of chardonnay to her mouth and takes a healthy sip of it. Across from her is Andy; he wanted to take his sister out after court to ensure that she was holding up alright as he knew that it was going to be a long day for her. As she swallows her alcohol, however, Kim can't hear a word that Andy is telling her. She keeps replaying rushing out of the Judge's office and into Greg, who was outside the court house. They ended up sharing a kiss, which was more passionate than any previous kisses they had shared before.

"Did you hear a word I just said?" Andy asks his sister, causing her to snap out of it.

"Sorry," she replies to him. "I guess I was lost in my train of thought. What were you saying?"

"I was just wondering when you expect to hear about the Judge's decision?"

"A couple days I would think," Kim replies to him. "He just said he was going to deliberate and Josh told me that he would call me when he heard something."

"Do you have a feeling of which way it went?" Andy asks her, sensing that she is scared she is going to lose everything.

Kim looks back at him. "It was two against one," she tells him. "And, the Calimo's have name recognition behind them. I am really worried that I'm going to lose everything Andy."

Andy reaches over and grabs her hand. "You won't lose everything, regardless of what happens," he replies to his sister. "No matter what you have me and you will not go through this alone."

Kim uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, thanks Andy. I just hope the Judge sees through Robbie and Natasha. But, I'm worried that I have to brace myself for the worst."

Outside the restaurant, Robbie slowly parks his SUV and hopes out of the vehicle. He locks the door and slowly starts to make his way to the front door. He knew that Cory and Natasha were having some tense moments after the day in court, so he decided to give them some time alone and come grab some food and a beer at the restaurant.

As he walks towards the door, he hears someone walking behind him. "Robbie, wait up," a voice calls out, causing him to turn around and see Brooke approaching him. "How did it go today?"

Robbie pauses and looks back at her. "What are you doing here?"

"I was going to get a glass of wine and some food," she replies to him. "Greg had to work late at Raven's Meadow. Are you okay? How was court?"

"It was a long day," he admits to her as he looks at her. He moves closer to her and puts his hand on her face before he leans in and kisses her passionately.

"What are you doing?" she asks him as they part lips. "I told you…"

"I want you," he replies to her, not listening to her protests. "I need you, Brooke. And, I think if you admit it to yourself, you know that you want me too."

She kisses him passionately again. "God help me, it's true," she whispers back to him.

"Let's get a room at the Twin Peaks Executive Hotel," he tells her. "I need you tonight, Brooke."

She finds herself nodding back to him and moving towards his SUV as lust fills her body with the anticipation of having Robbie make love to her again.

Robertson Enterprises; Trenyce's Office

"I thought you and Daisy had left for the evening," Trenyce says to Tyler, as he walks into the office. Trenyce is still at the office as she is working on the designs for the winter/ski line that Dominick is pressing his team to release by November. She has so many things to do, leaving at a normal hour doesn't seem realistic right now.

"Daisy and I left," Tyler admits to his friend. "But we came back when we realized how much work we had to do."

Trenyce nods back to him. "Did you get that email from Dominick asking for another update by end of day tomorrow?"

"Yup," Tyler chuckles back to her. "That's when we decided to come back to work."

"How is Daisy holding up with the news that Dominick hired Vinny as a designer consultant?"

Tyler looks over at her from his paper work and shrugs his shoulders. "She was put off by it," he reveals to her. "She thought it was weird that he was never a designer before now. I tried to calm her nerves by it but I do think its odd myself."

"I ran into Vinny earlier," Trenyce tells him. "And I asked him the same thing, about this new suddenly interest in design. He said it's been a release for him since the divorce."

"Do you believe him?"

"I do," Trenyce admits to him. "I know a lot of people that turn to some kind of creative outlet when they go through something traumatic. I'm just surprised his designs are so good for someone with such little tenure."

"I trust your judgement," Tyler moves closer to her. "And, I think it will help put Daisy at ease knowing this too."

Daisy opens the door to Dominick's office and quickly turns the lights on as she moves inside. Dominick has left for the day, but she wanted to drop off some reports to him so he can review first thing in the morning. She drops the folder on his desk and prepares to leave when Vinny emerges in the doorway.

"Vinny, you scared me," she admits to her ex-husband.

"Sorry, I didn't think anyone was here," he tells her. "I was just going to drop off Dominick some more designs and leave."

"I heard that you were hired, I guess congratulations are in order."

"Thank you," Vinny drops his file down on Dominick's desk and then looks at back at Daisy.

"I have to admit that I think this is all very weird," Daisy replies to him. "You and I were together for a long time, Vinny, and never once did you design or draw anything. Now, as soon as I'm working here, you're a designer? What is really going on?"

"Nothing is going on," Vinny shrugs his shoulders. "Not everything is about you, Daisy."

"So the fact that I'm working here has nothing to do with your designing?"

"Nope," Vinny smugly replies to her. "You're the reason I started to draw, I won't deny that. But I didn't get a job here because of you. So you can get your head out of your ass."

"Ugh," Daisy groans. "This was a mistake. Enjoy your night, Vinny. But a word of caution, I will be watching you."

Vinny gets a sly grin over his face after Daisy leaves the office. "Watch away," he whispers to himself.

"You wanted to talk to me here? What for?" an annoyed Meggan asks Brad as they stand in the hallway of the Robertson Enterprises building. Meggan assumes that Brad wanted to talk to her about agreeing to help Cheresa find her biological parents when she visited her office earlier in the evening. She realizes that Brad is probably worried that she will tell Cheresa that Chris and Trenyce are her parents, which is the last thing Meggan wants since Brad is blackmailing her with the secret that Logan is really Jeff's child.

"I can't leave here," Brad tells her. "I'm working nights to ensure no one tries to break in and steal the company's new line that they are working on."

"Well make this quick, I have a son to get home too," Meggan rolls her eyes.

"What the hell were you thinking agreeing to looking into the whereabouts of Cheresa's parents?" Brad cuts to the chase with her. He still can't believe that Meggan agreed to help his sister considering everything that has happened between the two of them recently.

"I couldn't say no without causing her to wonder what was going on," Meggan defends herself to him. "Imagine how it would look if I started turning away potential clients. That would look more suspicious than what I'm doing."

"You won't say anything, will you?"

"Of course not," Meggan snaps back to him. "I'm not stupid. No one can know my secret, and you're making damn sure that I won't tell yours."

At the other end of the hallway, Jeff opens the door from his office and he peers down seeing Brad and Meggan in what appears to be a heated discussion. He recalls a few days earlier when Meggan was alone at the Pampa Grill; now he is seeing her and Brad possibly fighting.

"I wonder if there's trouble in paradise," he whispers to himself as he shuts his door and proceeds to the elevator, desperate to get home for the night.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I can't believe you came back here tonight," Craig admits to Lukas as they sit in Craig's office in the hospital. Craig recalls how earlier in the evening Lukas stopped by with some takeout dinner for him; they shared a close moment and almost shared a kiss. Lukas pulled back and then left for the night, but is now sitting back in Craig's desk. "What's going on?"

"I…I had to get out of there," a frazzled Lukas replies to him.

"Get out of where? What are you talking about?" a concerned Craig replies to him quickly. He hasn't seen Lukas this upset in a very long time, so he knows that something has happened.

"My house," Lukas tells him. "I got home and Donovan was there. He had set up a romantic dinner for the two of us."

"That sounds very sweet," Craig replies to him. "Why did you leave?"

Lukas uneasily looks back at his friend. "He proposed to me," Lukas reveals to him. "And, I said no and rushed out."

"You didn't?" Craig gasps back to him, surprised at his revelation. Craig wonders how Donovan is holding up having been rejected like that. "Oh Lukas, why would you do that?"

"I don't know," Lukas admits to him. "Okay, fine. I thought about how we almost kissed …and I don't know. I froze and just ran out."

Craig uneasily nods back to him. "You and I have a very long history," Craig tells him. "But Lukas, you and Donovan have been through so much together."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm telling you there is no you and I," Craig tells him. "I don't want you to be a fool with this Donovan thing. If you said no to him because of me, I'm not in the equation. I want you to do what's best for you."

Lukas nods back to him. "I guess I have to figure out what that is."

The Pampa Grill

"Thanks again Andy," Kim kisses her brothers cheek. "I'll let you know when the Judge makes his decision."

"I'd like that a lot," Andy replies to her. "And in the meantime, if you need anything…"

"I'll call," Kim winks back to him. "Love you."

"Bye," Andy waves as Kim leaves the restaurant. Andy picks up his water and finishes it before he stand up and prepares to leave. He moves towards the exit when he looks over at the bar and sees Donovan sitting alone with a beer in front of him.

Andy moves up to his friend and puts his hand on his shoulder. "Donovan? It's not like you to be drinking alone. Is everything okay?"

"No," Donovan whispers back to him. "Nothing is okay right now."

"What happened? Is it Victoria?" Andy sits next to him.

"No, Vic is fine. It's Lukas."

"Do you want to talk about it?" Andy asks him. "I can listen if you want me too."

"I asked him to marry me tonight," Donovan reveals to his friend. "And he said no and then ran away from me."

"Oh man," Andy puts his hand back on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Donovan."

"Not nearly as sorry as I am," Donovan tells him, still reeling from the sound of Lukas saying no and then rushing out of the office. His entire romantic evening was ruined by Lukas; in what should have been the best night of his life, it has turned into the worst. "I was so stupid to think that he would want to marry me."

"No, don't do that," Andy replies to him. "You're a great guy, Donovan and a great catch. Could it be that you just caught Lukas by complete surprise and he needs time to think about it?"

Donovan shrugs back to him. "I have no idea," he tells his friend. "But am I am supposed to get over the fact that he said no to me and then ran out without even talking to me?"

"I wish I had all the answers," Andy says back to him. "All I know is that you're a great catch Donovan and Lukas would be silly not to realize that."

The Calimo Mansion

"I am sorry that Kim brought up all of those past details about you and Uncle Robbie," Jacob tells his Mom as they exit their hug. Natasha just finished telling her son about all of the drama that happened in the Judge's office as she and Robbie went to contest Bob's will. Natasha just hopes that the Judge still sees her and Robbie's side in all of this.

"It is fine," Natasha looks back to him. "I just hope the Judge sees our side and awards us what is ours."

"I hope you get what you want too, Mom," Jacob tries to smile back to her.

"Did you just come by to find out what happened in court today? Or do you have other news?"

Jacob arches his eyebrow. "Other news? What do you mean?"

"I was hoping you'd come to tell me that you'd called off your engagement to Cassie Nova?"

"Oh Mom," Jacob rolls his eyes in frustration with her. "I had hoped that you'd had gotten over this. I thought with Grandpa dying and this court case you'd come around to me being with Cassie."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because this family is going through enough right now!" Jacob tells her. "I am in love with Cassie and I am going to marry her!"

"No Jacob," Natasha snaps back at him. "You will not marry that woman, you mark my words. I will not allow it."
