St. Joseph's Church

Nicholas and Andy continue to kiss as they lay on the sofa in the office in the back of the church. Nicholas had just finished telling Andy that he couldn't be a priest anymore because of Arch Bishop Murray's harsh critiques, especially the one of Nicholas lacking any leadership skills to run St. Joseph's. Andy, seeing that he was distraught, offered him comfort but Nicholas kissed him. Andy immediately kissed him back as they have been fighting their attraction for months.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Andy finally breaks away from Nicholas wet lips.

Nicholas looks back at Andy and smiles to him. "Do you know how long I have wanted this?" Nicholas whispers back to him. "From the first time I laid my eyes on you, I have wanted you, Andy. Now that I know I won't be a priest anymore, there's nothing stopping us."

"I need you to really ask yourself if you won't be a priest anymore," Andy replies to him. "I want you so bad Nicholas, but I don't want you to regret anything."

Nicholas pulls Andy on top of him and gets Andy to straddle his waist before Nicholas leans up and kisses him passionately again. When their lips part, Nicholas starts to unzip Andy's pants.

"Is this a strong enough message for you?" Nicholas whispers in-between kisses.

"More than enough," Andy grinds into Nicholas' groin before he kisses him again.

"Darling, there you are," Melissa calls out to Phil as she walks down the stairs from the second story of the church with Arch Bishop Murray next to her. Phil turns around is rather surprised to see his wife with the Bishop; he wasn't sure where she had disappeared to after the Bishop's latest remarks to Nicholas. Now, he is left wondering why they are together: What did his wife say to the Bishop? And, did she make it worse, like she has a history of doing?

"Sweetheart, where did you escape too?" he kisses Melissa on the cheek when she arrives at his side. "I was starting to get worried about you."

"There's no need to worry," Melissa replies to him. "I was just having a conversation with Bishop Murray."

Phil gulps and looks back at her with intent still curious about what is going on. "What have you done?"

"Do not worry Mr. Young," Bishop Murray tells him, sending that he is concerned. "Your wife has made me realize something very important."

"And, what would that be?"

"That I owe Nicholas an apology. The very last thing I want to do is make him feel like his efforts and passion for St. Joseph's are going unnoticed. Where did he rush off too? I'd like to see Father Young as soon as possible."

Phil looks back at Melissa with a sly grin on his face, impressed with what she has done. "I believe he's in the office in the back," Phil tells them. "Let's go find him together, shall we?"

The Sugarbowl

"I know that it was supposed to be a fun gala but I'm so glad it's over," Max tells Paige as he opens the door to the coffeehouse and lets her walk inside. They left the gala at St. Joseph's and he couldn't be happier; the event really wasn't his cup of tea. Plus, he knows that right before they left Robin was questioning him about his relationship with Paige, which makes him think that she isn't going to be supportive, despite everything that has happened since he tried to break up her and Adam all those months ago.

"Yea me too," Paige admits to him as they grab the last booth in the back corner of the coffeehouse. "I got some weird text from my parents telling me they wanted to talk to me. I wonder what that's about."

"I think I know."

Paige looks back at him with surprise. "How could you possibly know what they want to discuss?"

"Because, Robin cornered me at the gala," Max reveals to her. "She was asking me about our relationship."

"How would she even know that we are…what are we doing?" she giggles back to him.

He reaches over and grabs her hand. "We are getting to know one another," he winks back to her. "And, we are enjoying this. At least I am."

"I am too."

"Then, that's what we have to tell everyone. It's really no one's business what we are doing. All that matters is that we are enjoying each other's company as we get to know one another."

"You're right," Paige nods back to him. "That's exactly what I will tell my parents if they ask me."

The Claus House; Leah, Jeff & Paige's Home

"I haven't heard back from Paige just yet," Jeff tells his wife as he pours two glasses of wine from the bar in the living room. He turns around and passes Leah the red wine and then he takes a sip of the drink. "But, she might still be at the gala."

"Or maybe she's with Max," Leah replies to him as they lock eyes. "For whatever reason, Robin doesn't seem to trust him. I'd like to find out why before we make any demands on our daughter."

"I have to admit to you," Jeff says back to her. "I was surprised to see Paige kissing Max at the church. If she just broke up with another guy, it does seem sudden."

"I agree with you," Leah nods back to him. "But she's young; she's exploring and having fun. I know you might not want to hear that, but our little girl isn't so little anymore."

Before Jeff can reply, the doorbell rings. Jeff sets his glass down on the coffee table and walks towards the front door. "Robin, come in," he says when he sees his sister in law standing on the other side of the door.

Robin walks into the living room and looks over at Leah. "Robin, hey. What brings you by?"

"I spoke to Max at the gala," she reveals to them. "I asked him about his relationship with Paige."

Leah and Jeff look at one another before they look back at Robin. "What did he say?"

"That they were friends," Robin replies to them. "And, I guess I believe him."

"Why do I get the feeling there is a but coming?" Jeff asks her back.

"I can't get into the details," Robin replies quickly, knowing that she made a pact with Adam not to reveal the lengths that Max went to break them up. If the truth ever did come out, Max could still go to jail for causing Adam's accident at the Robertson Enterprises boutique, and that is not what Adam wants to have happen. "But, you have to watch out for Paige. I don't trust Max and neither should you."

The Calimo Mansion

"You seemed quiet on the drive home," Natasha throws her purse on the sofa as she and Cory move into the living room of the Calimo mansion as they just got home from the gala at St. Joseph's. Natasha goes to pour herself a drink but looks up to see Cory looking into the garden from the French doors. "Can I pour you a drink?"

"I'd love a gin and tonic," Cory replies to her as he turns around to face his wife. "I hope Nicholas is happy with the turnout at the church. There were a lot of people there."

"I'm sure he will be pleased," Natasha finishes making him his drink and passes it to him. "That Arch Bishop seemed rather miserable though."

"I saw Kim," Cory changes the subject to his wife. "She didn't look so good, I have to be honest."

"That's because she had a little run in with Robbie and I," Natasha reveals to him, hoping that this conversation goes better than their last conversation about her stepmother.

Cory arches his eyebrow. "What do you mean? Why kind of run in?"

"We told her that we are contesting my father's will," Natasha reveals to him. She and Robbie have to contest the will because they refuse to allow Kim, the woman who they believe put Bob through so much pain and suffering, walk away with so much of Bob's assets, especially the mansion that they are standing in. "Robbie and I can't allow that woman to get everything she did. It is unacceptable."

Cory looks back at her dumbfounded. "You realize that the will was your father's last wishes, don't you? He wanted Kim to have everything he left her. Why would you and Robbie fight this?"

"Because, this house belongs to us! We grew up and were raised here, Cory! That woman, she killed my father! She was cheating on him, first with Tyler and then with Greg! No, Cory, there is no way in hell that I can let her keep this mansion!"

Cory looks back at her in surprise. He slowly sets his glass down and moves to the exit. "Where are you going?"

"I don't know," Cory barely turns to face her. "But I can't stay here. The woman in front of me right now is someone I don't know. And frankly, I don't like. You need to get it together for this family, Natasha. This constant fighting will do nothing but cause more harm. I can't be around it. I won't."

Natasha sighs heavily as Cory leaves the living room. She pours herself another brandy and quickly drinks it all, wondering if her determination to make Kim pay will end up costing her, her marriage to Cory.

The Pampa Grill

"Did you have a good time at the gala?" Cassie asks Jacob as they sit across from one another at a table in the restaurant with a bottle of wine and two glasses in front of them. Cassie knows that the initial reaction to being back at St. Joseph's was difficult for Jacob as the last time he was there was for Bob's funeral; the pain of losing his grandfather is still very fresh for him.

"Yea, it was okay," Jacob replies to her as he takes a sip of his wine. "I'm glad we left when we did. I saw my mother there. The last thing I wanted was to have another conversation with her about our relationship."

"I heard a rumor that she and Robbie are going to contest Bob's will," she tells Jacob. "Apparently, they are livid with how much Kim was left with. So, I don't think she would have said anything about you and I. She has too much else on her plate right now."

"She would have said something," Jacob rolls his eyes back to her. "She hates that we are together. Every chance she gets, she tells me about it."

"What do you think we should do?"

"I don't know if there is anything we can do."

"Well, I hope I'm not interrupting anything?" Shane asks as he approaches his son's table. "But, I saw you sitting here and couldn't pass up the chance to say hello."

"Hey Dad," Jacob stands up and hugs his father. "Thanks for stopping by. But, as you can see, my fiancé and I are trying to have a relaxing evening."

"Do you think I would add stress to the evening?"

"I don't know," Jacob shrugs back to him. "All I know is that you and Mom have done nothing but try to convince me that Cassie is wrong for me and I won't listen to that anymore. I'm going to marry her and there's nothing you, or Mom, can do about it."

Cassie gleefully smiles back to Shane who looks at her before he looks back at Jacob, who looks with intent back at his father.

"I just stopped by to say hi, that's all," Shane tells Jacob. "You and I, we can talk later. Have a good night."

"Good night Dad," Jacob says as Shane walks away from the table.

"Thank you for that," Cassie tells Jacob as he sits across from her. "No one has ever defended me the way you do. I can't tell you how much that means to me."

"I love you Cass, I'll always protect you. You have my word."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan & Lukas' Home

Brad opens the door to the estate and moves inside the foyer. After having coffee with Abby at the Sugarbowl, he has come home and is excited to have a drink with Meggan and, hopefully, see Logan before he goes to bed. At the base of the large staircase in the foyer, however, there are bags and suitcases which causes him to arch his eyebrow.

"Meggan must be going on a business trip," he whispers to himself as he moves into the living room and he sees Meggan searching the bookshelf. He ducks when she throws one of the books over her shoulder and it lands on the floor.

"Hey, whoa," he says as he puts his hands up to prevent the book from hitting him. "What's going on in here? This place is a disaster zone."

"Oh you're back, good," Meggan turns around and passes him some of the books that are on the floor. "You can put these with the rest of your stuff in the foyer."

"What do you mean? What's going on?"

"You don't remember our conversation from the other day?" Meggan asks him as she puts her hand on her hip. "I told you that we were over, and I meant it. That means that you're going to have to move out. You're not welcome in my home anymore."

"Meg…" Brad starts to protest against her. "You have this all wrong!"

"Do I?" Meggan flares back to him. "If I remember correctly, you're blackmailing me into silence with the truth about Cheresa. If I say anything to Chris and Trenyce, you're going to Jeff that Logan is really is child. Do I have this right?"

"Blackmail is such a strong word…"

"Don't you dare try to sugar coat this!" Meggan yells at him. "I won't turn my son's life upside, nor will I do that to Jeff and Leah, so I will keep your stupid secret! But, like I told you, we are over! I will not spend another day of my life with you in it! So, get your shit and get the fuck out of my house!"

St. Joseph's Church

"Ah, yes, this is all coming back to me now," Arch Bishop Murray says as he, Melissa and Phil walk towards the office at the back of the church. The gala, for the most part, is over. The event was a success and now the Bishop wants to tell Nicholas he is sorry for coming down so hard on him. "You know, this office actually used to be a conventional booth. It was converted much later when we started to get a little thing called paper work."

Melissa and Phil chuckle back with him. "I can't tell you how happy I am that you want to apologize to Nicholas," Phil tells him. "He really worked hard on this place, and while some of the details aren't exactly the same as they used to be, he did put a lot of work into the renovation."

"Yes, yes," the Bishop nods back to him. "You see, I am a very stubborn old man and sometimes I let that get in my own way."

"Well, I know Nicholas will be thrilled to hear what you have to say," Melissa tells him as she opens the door to the office.

All three move inside and gasp immediately at the sight in front of them: Nicholas and Andy in the middle of heated sex.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Arch Bishop Murray feels his blood start to boil at the sight of Nicholas and Andy on the sofa.
