The Calimo Mansion; The Guesthouse

Natasha, who is standing slightly behind a very pregnant Dawn, looks at Barbara and realizes that she is starting to shake a little, as the older woman continues to point her gun at both Dawn and herself. Natasha realizes that Barbara is on the edge of sanity, probably because of how she shot and killed Jonah. Now, she is holding her at gunpoint because Barbara is upset with the idea that Dawn might actually want to give her unborn child up for adoption to her and Cory; Natasha, in some ways, can't believe that her affair with Adam a few years earlier is still impacting the Black family this way. As she sees Barbara's hand shake a little, Natasha thinks to herself that she if she is able to make a quick movement she could probably get the gun away from Barbara, which could mean the end of this horrible situation.

"Please, Grandma, put the gun down," Dawn encourages her Grandmother to do the right thing. After everything Dawn went through in seeing her Grandmother shoot and kill Jonah, the last thing she needs to is to see Barbara do another foolish act of violence with a gun.

Just then, Natasha moves past Dawn and rushes towards Barbara. Barbara sees Natasha and, without thinking, fires the gun. One bullet hits Natasha, who screams as she falls to the ground. It happens so quickly, that Barbara turns slightly and fires the gun again! The second bullet hits Dawn!

"Oh my God," Barbara screams in horror as both Dawn and Natasha lay in blood on the floor in front of her. "What have I done? Help me! Someone help me!"

Suddenly, the front door to the guesthouse opens and Adam and Helen burst in with Robbie in tow. They had been searching for Dawn after she went for her walk after Bob and Kim's wedding reception and never returned. Having enlisted Robbie's help to find her, they ended up at the guesthouse and heard two gun shots while outside.

"What the hell have you done?" Adam asks Barbara, as Helen looks on the ground and sees a bleeding Dawn and Natasha.

"Dawn!" Helen screams as she rushes to her daughter's side. "Oh my God! She's been shot! Adam, help me! Help me please!"

"Dawn," Adam rushes down to Helen's side before he looks over at Natasha. "Natasha was shot too! Robbie, please call the police! Call 9-1-1!"

Barbara, meanwhile, slinks to the ground as tears fall from her eyes. "What have I done?" she asks herself over and over again.

The Lawson Estate; Greg, Brooke, Abby & Cheresa's Home

"I haven't had much alone time with you lately," Greg announces to Cheresa as he walks into the living room of the lavish mansion that he and his family own. Greg looks at his adoptive daughter and knows that they have had a rocky relationship in the last couple of years, mostly because he wasn't very open or understanding when she first came out as being gay. It was his idea, after all, to send her to the bible camp last summer to see if she could be converted back to being straight; of course, when she came home still gay, Greg had to accept his daughter for who she is, which has been easier than he thought it would be. "How have you been?"

Cheresa puts her book down on the coffee table and looks back at her father. "Same old, same old," she tells him. "I'm still really enjoying my time at the hospital. I think one day, I could have a career in medicine."

Greg smiles back to her. "That's fantastic," he replies to her. "At least one of my children will follow in my footsteps."

"Brad seems to have found his footing with this private investigator gig," Cheresa stands up and moves to the bar. "Want a night cap with me?"

"Sure, that'd be nice," Greg says back to her. "And your sister, well, she's convinced that she will be the next big model."

"I'm not sure that you know this, but I applied to be in the Gen Next House at Roboto with Abby," Cheresa passes him a scotch. "I'm not sure I'll get in, and I'm not interested in modelling, but I did think it would be a fun way to spend the summer."

"If that's what you want," Greg takes a sip of his drink. "Then, I'll support you."

"Thanks Dad," Cheresa smiles back to him. "I appreciate that."

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm trying to make up for my behavior in the last year or so."

"You don't have to make anything up to me," Cheresa comes up to him. "I know you love me, and that's all I can ask for."

"I do love you," he grabs her hand. "I'm so lucky that you're mother convinced me to adopt you. I am sorry for everything, Cheresa."

"Stop apologizing," She pulls him into a hug. "I forgave you a long time ago."

They exit their embrace as Brooke enters the living room, having just arrived home from Bob and Kim's wedding. She looks and sees her daughter and husband embracing.

"I'm not interrupting am I?" she asks, as they look over at her.

"Not at all," Greg replies to his wife. "How was the wedding?"

"It was nice," she tells him. "I wish you had been with me, but I know you had to work. Cheresa, what you doing here?"

Cheresa looks back at her in surprise. "What do you mean? I live here?"

Brooke uneasily chuckles back to her. "I know, but when I was leaving the wedding, there was an ambulance at the Calimo estate. Dawn was being taken to the hospital; I don't know all the details, but I thought you'd be at the hospital."

Cheresa feels the blood drain from her face as she fears that something bad has happened to Dawn and or the baby. "My God," she says putting her drink down. "I have to go to the hospital. Thanks for telling me."

Cheresa bolts out of the living room, leaving Greg and Brooke alone. "I hope Dawn is okay," Brooke looks at her husband. "Cheresa doesn't need anything bad happen to her friend."

"I couldn't agree more," Greg looks back at her. "I am sorry, Brooke, that I missed the wedding. I just have so much going on at Raven's Meadow."

"I know, I know," she replies to him. "It wasn't all a waste. I think I found a new job."

Greg arches his eyebrow. "Do tell."

"I think Robbie Calimo is going to run for mayor in the upcoming election and he suggested I be his campaign manager."

"Robbie Calimo," Greg replies back to her. "Does this mean that you're going to cheat on me again?"

Brooke looks back at him with a look of disgust on her face. Her affair was years ago, and after the truth came out, she worked very hard to make it up to Greg. She can't believe that he would throw that in her face now. "How dare you," she whispers back to him. "I have no intention of sleeping with Robbie, Greg. You damn well know that."

Greg puts his hands up in the air. "Fine, sorry I said anything," he snaps at her. "I'm going to bed. It's been a long day."

Brooke watches her husband leave the room before she picks up Cheresa's leftover scotch and she slams it back wondering if he will ever truly forgive her past mistakes.

The Graveyard

Andrew slowly walks through the cemetery with his hands in his pockets. He knows that he had received an invitation to go to Bob and Kim's wedding with Paige, but he declined because he hasn't been able to stop thinking about how he drugged Chris and Helen last fall and made them believe that they had sex. Of course, Trenyce caught them in bed the following morning and has dumped Chris. This is exactly what Andrew wanted at the time, but as time has gone on, he has been feeling more and more guilty for his actions. He hates seeing how upset Trenyce has been, and with Paige being curious about the night, he has hated lying to her about his role in the events that happened.

He looks at the tombstone in front of him and bends his knees. "Mom," he whispers, looking at Savannah's grave. "It's me, Andrew. I know I haven't been here in a while, and I'm sorry for that. Sometimes, I feel so alone in the world. I feel like I have no one because you were taken from me so early. I was so young, and it's not fair. I wish you were here with me."

He reaches out and caresses the tombstone with his hand. "I've done something so awful and I don't know how to get out of it. If I tell the truth, everyone will hate me. But, I don't know how much longer I can keep up this lie. I see how sad Trenyce is all the time, and it kills me. Hell, I don't even like seeing Chris this upset."

He stops talking to Savannah for a moment as he holds back the tears forming in his eyes. "I wish you were here so you could tell me what to do," he tells the grave. "I hate that you were taken from me, Mom. I really, really hate it."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"The waiting is killing me," Helen paces back and forth in the waiting room, as Adam stands still and is looking out the window. They rode in the ambulance with Dawn as the paramedics brought her and Natasha to the hospital following the shooting at the Calimo mansion. As soon as they got to the hospital, Dawn and Natasha were taken into the emergency rooms, and now Helen and Adam are waiting for some kind of update about their daughter.

"Me too," Adam looks back at her. "I just want to know what is going on."

Helen freezes when Bob, Kim, Robbie, Cory and Robin come into the waiting room. "Has there been any news about Natasha?" Bob asks them, with Kim by his side. This is not exactly how the newlyweds expected to be spending their wedding night.

"No, not yet," Adam replies to him, as he accepts a hug from Robin, which Helen notices. "We are waiting to hear back about Dawn too."

"Can someone explain what happened, exactly?" Kim asks, wanting to know how Natasha was shot in the first place.

"Yea, I'd like to know, exactly, how my wife got shot tonight," Cory chimes in, his worry growing every minute that they don't hear about Natasha's status.

"We don't know all the details," Helen replies to her, unable to stop looking at how close Robin and Adam are. "We know that Dawn was feeling warm after the wedding ceremony, so she went for a walk and Barbara joined her. They were gone for a long time, so Adam and I got Robbie involved to help us search for them. We were outside the guest house when we heard two gun shots go off, and then we found them," Helen stops as tears fall from her eyes. "There was so much blood."

Before anyone can say anything else, Max walks into the waiting room. Robin immediately looks at the young man who caused Adam's accident last fall and forces herself to bite her tongue. She knows that she can't say anything about the accident right now; not while the family is waiting to hear back about Dawn.

"How is she? How is my sister?" Max asks as Adam moves up to him and hugs him.

"We are waiting to find out," Adam tells him.

"God, this is horrible," Max replies to everyone. "Dawn has to be okay, she just has to be."

The Calimo Mansion; The Guesthouse

Flashing red and blue lights illuminate the windows of the guesthouse as Simona Lopez enters the through the open front door. The paramedics never bothered to close the door because they knew that the police would be arriving shortly after them. Yellow police tape is already surrounding the floor area where Dawn and Natasha's body were laying; the floor still has blood on it, from both of the women that were shot.

Simona looks over in the corner and sees Barbara still sitting, clearly in a state of shock by what happened. Close to her feet is the gun that was used to shoot both women. Simona moves over to the weapon and slowly picks it up and places it into a plastic bag. She passes it to another officer before she slowly moves over to Barbara and sits next to the older woman.

"Mrs. Mills," Simona looks forward. "Do you care to tell me what happened here tonight?"

Barbara doesn't respond to her, she continues to look forward. "Did you shoot Dawn and Natasha?"

Barbara, again doesn't speak, slowly nods back to her. "I get that you might not want to say anything without a lawyer, and that's fine," Simona tells her as she looks at Barbara. "But, you do have the right to remain silent. Anything you say, can and will be used you in a court of law. Do you understand these rights?"

Barbara slowly stands up and automatically puts her hands behind her back as Simona places handcuffs on her. Tears fall down Barbara's cheeks as Simona walks her out of the guesthouse and towards the police car.

The Pampa Grill

Jeff sits at the bar with a double bourbon in front of him, his mind racing about his conversation that he just had with Leah. She threw him out of their house because he admitted that he slept with Meggan last fall and he believed that he could have been the father of her unborn child. He understands why Leah is upset, but at the same time, Leah was still unsure about who she wanted to be with, him or Robbie, at the time he slept with Meggan. He just hopes that she can forgive him, because the last thing that he wants to have happen is his marriage be over already.

"I'm rather surprised to see you here," a voice says behind Jeff, causing him to turn around and sees Dominick standing there. "Why aren't you at home with your new wife?"

"I don't want to get into this with you," Jeff replies to his father in law. "What happens between Leah and I, stays between us."

Dominick uneasily chuckles back to him, wondering if something is happening in his daughter's marriage. "I never did get confirmation about why the hell you were so late to the wedding," he tells him. "I'd like to know the reason now."

"Like I just said, that is between Leah and I," Jeff tells him. "I'm not going to have this conversation with my wife's father."

"Fine," Dominick spits back to him. "But, you know how close I am to Leah, and if you have hurt her in anyway, you will answer to me."

Jeff rolls his eyes before he takes a sip of his drink. "Do I make myself clear?" Dominick continues talking from behind Jeff.

"Perfectly," Jeff snaps back to him. "Have a good night, Dominick. I'd like to finish my drink in peace."

The Richardson Estate; Meggan & Lukas' Home

Meggan walks down the stairs as quickly as she can wearing her housecoat and slippers; she had been in bed when she heard the doorbell start to ring non-stop. She has no idea who could be at the door of her house at this hour, but she plans on giving them a piece of her mind for disturbing her at such a late hour of the night. She finally reaches the door and opens it.

"Leah, do you have any idea what time it is?" Meggan asks her, surprised that Leah is standing at her door.

Leah moves past her into the foyer of the large mansion. "I do, but it couldn't wait," Leah tells her. "I know that you're pregnant. And, I know that Jeff could have been the father of the baby."

Meggan slowly shuts the door and turns around to face Leah, who is glaring at her. "You slept with my husband last fall? How could you do that?"

Meggan sighs and runs her hands through her long hair. "It just happened," Meggan admits to her. "You have to remember Leah, that we all thought you died in Lake Tahoe. Jeff and I, we had moved on together. We got married! We loved one another."

"So you thought you'd sleep with him?"

"You were still trying to decide who you wanted to be with," Meggan reminds her. "And, Jeff and I, we just got caught up one night. It only happened once and never again."

"And, this baby…"

"It's not Jeff's," Meggan lies to her. "It's Brad Lawsons. He is the father of my baby."

Leah shakes her head in confusion. "I just can't believe any of this is happening!"

"We never meant to hurt you," Meggan tells her. "Don't hold this against Jeff, Leah. You two are finally happy. It was a long time ago now, and you finally realized you wanted your marriage to work. There's nothing here stopping you from being happy."

Leah uneasily looks back at her. "Now, if you don't mind, my baby and I need to get some rest," Meggan tells her, as Leah nods back to her.

"Sorry I disturbed you."

"It's fine," Meggan tells her, opening the door for her to leave. "But Leah, go home to your husband, tell him you love him and move on from this. There's nothing left between Jeff and I, just like there's nothing left between you and Robbie."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

Friends and family of Dawn and Natasha continue wonder around the waiting room, waiting for some kind of an update about the shooting victims. Helen moves over to Adam and hugs him, while Bob and Kim hold one another. Robin continues to look at Max with intent, while Robbie checks his phone.

Suddenly, Victoria moves into the waiting room. "Hi," she announces, getting everyone's attention. "I have some news for you guys."

"How is Natasha?" Bob asks her, needing to know how his daughter is, as Cory comes up next to him, desperate to find out about his wife.

"And Dawn, how is she?" Helen asks Victoria.

"One at a time," Victoria replies to them. "We were able to get Natasha stabilized. She's in surgery now," she reveals to the Calimo's, who breathe a sigh of relief. "Dawn lost a lot of blood, so it took a while longer to get her stable, but we did. She, too, is in the OR now. Dawn's surgery will be more complicated because of the baby, but I'll give you all an update as soon as I know something."

"Thank you," Adam nods back to Victoria.

"Please, do anything you can to save my daughter," Helen pleads with Victoria, who turns around and looks back at Helen.

"We'll do everything we can," Victoria tells her before she exits the waiting room. Outside, Victoria puts her hand to her temple and shuts her eyes. She remembers how she completed Dawn's post-rape examination a few months earlier. When she opens her eyes, she looks forward with intent before she starts to walk towards the OR.
