The Pampa Grill

"I'm telling you, sweetheart, your father and I will be on our best behavior," Brooke smiles over to Brad as they are having lunch together at the restaurant. Brooke is once again reassuring her son that she and Greg will behave when they have dinner with Meggan; Brooke is still insisting that they meet the woman that Brad got pregnant, since, after all, she will be bringing a Lawson into the world very soon.

"I know, I believe you," Brad takes a sip of his beer. "I've talked it over with Meggan and she's on board."

"Perfect, then we have to arrange a date," Brooke replies to him. "I can't tell you how excited I am about having a baby in the family again."

"You always did love having children in the house," Brad tells her. "It's a big part of why you and Dad wanted to adopt Cheresa."

"Exactly," Brooke agrees with him. " There are so many children out there that need homes."

"I'm glad that you're excited for my baby, Mom," Brad tells her. "Just, try not to scare Meggan, okay? She's been through a lot the last couple of months."

Brooke arches her eyebrow, wondering what he is talking about it; what could this Meggan have gone through the last couple of weeks. She shakes her head knowing that she can't ask Brad, but she will get to the bottom of it. Her family's and son's happiness might depend on it.

"Don't worry," she tells him. "We just want to get to know her. That's all. It's harmless. Absolutely harmless."

"I can't believe that Reese left you extra money from this clause in his will that you didn't know about," Kim tells her brother before she takes a sip of her wine. "What are you going to do with all this money?"

Andy shrugs his shoulders as he just finished telling Kim that he got a call from Madeline Wilkins, Reese's sister, and she informed him of the clause in Reese's will that stated Andy was going to receive another lump sum of money from Reese's estate. Reese wanted Andy to be comfortable for the rest of his life, so he waited a few years after his death to give Andy more money. In Andy's mind, however, he believes that this is a sign from Reese that he is allowed to move on with his life. The last couple of months, Andy has been struggling with his decision to have sex with Lukas on New Year's Eve; now, he knows that he can move on if he wants too.

"To be honest, I have no idea what I'm going to do," Andy tells his sister. "It's a lot of money. I guess I'll probably invest most of it. I mean, I'm now at the stage that I probably don't have to work another day of my life; Reese did that for me."

"That must be a nice feeling," she replies to him as she knows that Reese and Madeline inherited a lot of money from their parents, Preston & Olivia after they passed away.

"It is," Andy tells her. "But, I've actually just taken on a new project at work. I'm going to be writing a series of articles for St. Joseph's. They are in financial despair and Father Murphy wants to retire."

"He wants to retire?" Kim asks surprised. "The church will not be the same."

"I know, but unless they can get more donations, the church might not last either."

Kim shakes her head in disbelief. "Well, I hope your articles help."

"Me too," he replies to her as she lifts her glass and takes another sip of her wine. That's when Andy sees it: the large, diamond ring on Kim's left hand. "Wait, what is that?"

Kim looks at her ring and then back at Andy. "I was going to tell you…" she begins to tell him as he runs his hand through his hair.

"You're engaged to Bob?" he asks flabbergasted. "I thought you told me that you weren't ready for this?"

"No, I told you that when it happened, I would tell you," Kim tells him. "I want you to be happy for me, Andy. Bob and I, we love one another. We have a really good thing going right now."

"Right now being the key words," he reminds her. "You two have also created a lot of hurt for one another."

"That's all in the past," she tells him. "I promise you, Bob and I love one another. We will be happy together."

"Okay," he sighs back to her. "I hope you're right, because the last thing I want is for you to be heartbroken again."

"Trust me," Kim purses her lips together. "That won't happen."

"So, you'll be away all summer?" Andrew asks his girlfriend as they sit across from one another having lunch together. Paige just told him that she got hired to be in the Gen Next House for Roboto, which will happen this summer. He isn't sure how he feels about being away from her all summer, if he's honest with himself.

"Yea," Paige excitedly tells him. "I went to support Abby, but Tyler thought it would be a cool idea if I was in the house too! I'm actually rather excited by this."

"I can tell," he nods back to her. "It just sucks cause it'll be a long summer without you."

"Awe," Paige coos back to him. "You could always apply yourself?"

"Nah, I don't think it's my thing," Andrew waves his hand back to her.

"Well, what is your thing? What do you want to do all summer?"

"I hadn't even thought about it," he admits to her.

"Maybe while I'm going, you could help Chris figure out what happened that night he spent with Helen?" Paige suggests to him, recalling how she heard Chris and Helen talking at the coffeehouse about trying to uncover the truth. They both realize that something more must have happened since neither one can remember that night.

"Why are you obsessed with this night?" Andrew snaps at her. "Let it go already!"

Paige blushes in embarrassment by his outburst. "Sorry I didn't mean to snap at you," he tells her. "It's just, you go on and on about it."

"Maybe it's because I think something doesn't add up," Paige replies to him. "If they slept together, fine, but the fact that they don't remember that night means that something else must have happened. The question is what could it have been?"

Andrew shrugs. "You're looking at me like I know!"

"Do you know?" she finds herself asking him.

Andrew glares back at her, shocked that she would suggest such a thing. "Of course not," he looks away from her. The fact that he can't look her in the eye isn't lost on Paige. "Can we change the subject please?"

"No," Paige stands up from the table, annoyed by his tone with her. "I suddenly lost my appetite. I'll see you around."

Before he can stop her, Paige is storming off from the table. Andrew runs his hand through hair before he pounds his fist onto the table. "Damnit!" he whispers to himself, wondering how much longer he can keep this lie up.

Raven's Meadow

"How did she look?" Eva stands up from a chair in Greg's office, as Dominick and the doctor walk back in from a visit with Felicia. Eva knows that her husband is concerned about his ex-wife, and to a degree so is she. She just hopes that Felicia gets the help she needs at the hospital.

Dominick shrugs his shoulders back to her as he pulls her into a quick hug. Dominick knows that when he saw Felicia, she was not in her right mind because of the amount of drugs she has in her. He just hopes that she gets back on her feet sooner rather than later.

"She wasn't really herself," Dominick admits as they exit their embrace. "She wasn't responsive or didn't acknowledge my presence."

"That's because we have her under a new medication regime," Greg reveals to them, as he sits at his desk. "It will take us time to figure out which medications work and don't work for her. With patients like Felicia, we have to start from scratch, because obviously the medication she was on before wasn't working."

"How long will this take?" Eva asks him.

"Each patient is completely unique," he tells them. "The key is not to worry. She is in good hands here; she can't hurt anyone nor can anyone hurt her. I will give you my word on that."

"Thank you doctor," Dominick shakes Greg's hand. "I just want the best for Felicia. I have to make sure she is okay."

"I understand, just know that these things take time," Greg replies to him. "You're welcome to visit her whenever you'd like, but I would recommend some time away, at least until we know which medication route we are going to proceed with. At that time, she will be back to more of her normal self."

Dominick nods back to him. "I'll keep that in mind."

Meanwhile, in Felicia's room, she lays on her bed with her eyes closed. She's whispering the words, "Help me," softly in her sleep. In her dreams, she is back in the boutique, surrounded by flames but she can see a figure standing outside the window. Who the figure is, Felicia can't tell, but she is screaming for them to help her. But the figure doesn't help her. The figure walks away and leaves Felicia to burn in the flames.

"Help me," Felicia moans again in her sleep. "Help me!"

The Pampa Grill

"Thanks for meeting with me today," Shelley tells Cheresa as they sit in the back of the restaurant, waiting for Dawn to arrive to join them.

Cheresa looks back at the woman and nods back to her. "Of course," she replies to her. "I'm glad that we can be here for Dawn. I know she is still going through a rough time with the pregnancy."

"Have you heard the latest?" Shelley asks her as Cheresa shakes her head no. "The potential adoptive parents that Dawn met with, she knows them."

"Is that a good thing or bad thing?"

"Depends how you look at it," Shelley tells her. "Dawn has a history with the adoptive mother, Natasha."

"You make it sound like it's not a good history," Cheresa replies to her.

"It's a long, complicated story," Shelley says back to her. "Needless to say, they aren't exactly close."

"Which means that Dawn doesn't want to give her baby to this Natasha?" Cheresa asks her.

"Bingo," Shelley replies to her as Cheresa sighs heavily.

"Well, they can't be the only parents that want to adopt. There are hundreds of couples that want a child."

"I know, I just don't know where Dawn's head is right now. That's why I asked you two here for lunch."

"We'll find out soon enough, I guess."

"While I have you alone though," Shelley looks back at Cheresa. "Do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

"I don't mean to overstep, but what is your relationship with Dawn, exactly?"

Cheresa looks back at Shelley in surprise. She recalls how when she met Dawn at the bible camp, Dawn admitted that she was involved with an older woman; Cheresa realizes now that the woman is Shelley, but she isn't sure how close she and Dawn are now after everything that has happened. "We are friends."

"Just friends?"

Cheresa nods back to her. "Just friends."

"So, you don't have feelings for her?"

Cheresa chuckles back to her. "I'm not sure what you're getting at, Shelley. Even if I did have feelings for Dawn, I'm not sure that it would your business."

"Okay," Shelley chuckles back to her. "Sorry, I asked."

Dawn opens the door to the restaurant and quickly moves inside. She scans the restaurant until she sees Shelley and Cheresa sitting near the back. She is about to start walking over to her friends, when Natasha appears with a takeout bag from the bar.

"Dawn," Natasha freezes when she sees the younger woman. Suddenly, Natasha recalls the last time she saw Dawn and she, once again, refused to give her baby to Cory and Natasha. The meeting left Natasha pretty rattled because all she wants is to have a family with Cory. "How are you today?"

"I was a lot better until you showed up," Dawn spits back to her.

Natasha tries to put a smile on her face. "Look, I'm just trying to be nice. Whatever happened between you and I in the past, is just that, in the past."

"You're being nice to me because you're trying to convince me to give you my baby," Dawn lashes out at her. "But once again, Natasha, you will not get my child. I forbid it."

Natasha shakes her head in disbelief. "Fine," Natasha replies to her. "If you don't want to have Cory and I adopt your baby, that's just fine. But, I'd still like it if we could move on from the past. What happened between your father and I, happened a long time ago. We've all moved on since then."

"Maybe you've moved on," Dawn tells her. "But the image of you and my Dad on that desk in the hospital, it still haunts me. So, don't you dare tell me we've all moved on. Maybe when that disgusting image is out of my head, I'll be able to move on. Until then, stay out of my way."

Before Natasha can reply, Dawn storms past her. Natasha watches her for a moment wondering if they will ever be able to put the past behind them. She shakes her head before she leaves the restaurant, still feeling rattled from her run-in with the younger woman.

"How did Andy take the news?" Bob asks his fiancé as they sit across from one another at Kim's table that she shared with brother earlier in the day.

"As well as to be expected," Kim replies to him. "How about your children?"

Bob chuckles back to her thinking about how Natasha and Robbie took the news of his engagement; they weren't exactly thrilled with the news. He wished that they would have taken the news better, but he knows that they have time to get them to come around.

"Probably as well as Andy by the sounds of it," he tells her. "But, I don't think we should worry about what anyone else says or thinks. We know that we love one another, that's all that matters."

"I agree," Kim purses her lips together. "But, it would be nice to have their support."

"Well, I have a surprise for you," Bob reveals to her. "And, I think it will be just the thing to bring our families around."

"A surprise?" Kim chuckles back to him. "What is it?"

"Well, darling, if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?"

Kim chuckles. "Fine, but don't keep me waiting too long," she winks back to him. "I hate the suspense!"

Robbie stands up from the bar, having finished a quick lunch and is about to turn around when he stumbles in to Brooke, who is passing on her way from the washroom towards the exit.

"Oh my God," she squeals as he tumbles into her.

"I'm so sorry," he says as he comes up to her. "Are you okay?"

She dusts herself off a little and looks back at the attractive man and nods back to him. "I think I will be fine," she tells him. "Sorry, I didn't realize I was so close to your barstool."

"No, it's my fault," he tells her. "I wasn't looking to see if anyone was behind me. Seriously, are you okay?"

"I'll be fine," Brooke purses her lips together. "But, thank you for the concern."

"Here's my card," Robbie pulls out his wallet. "If you are feeling any kind of pain or anything, I'd be happy to cover any medical expenses."

"You're sweet," Brooke accepts his card. "But I should be fine. Now, if you'll excuse me."

"Of course," he says as she walks away from him. Just as she leaves, Cassie comes up to him.

"What was that about?" Cassie asks him, wondering why Robbie was giving a beautiful woman his card.

Robbie looks back at her and then around him to make sure no one he knows is seeing them talk. The last thing he needs is for his family to see him engaging with Cassie Nova. "Nothing, just a run-in. Why, are you jealous that I was talking to another woman?"

Cassie laughs back to him. "Should I be jealous?"

"I don't know," Robbie shrugs back to her. "But the idea of you being jealous is kinda hot."

"Come back to my office?" she purrs back to him.

"I thought you'd never ask," he winks back to her as he grabs his coat and he walks towards the door with her following him.

***

Brad looks up from his coffee and sees Max approaching his table. Brad is thrilled that Max is coming up to him because he can ask him more questions surrounding the night of Adam's accident. He hadn't even planned on meeting Max today, so Brad is happy that this is falling into his lap.

"Hey, do you have a moment to have a beer together?" Max asks as he arrives at Brad's table. Max doesn't have many male friends, so he has been enjoying getting to know Brad.

"Of course, what's going on with you?"

"Not much, still just trying to get over this girl. It's a lot tougher than I thought it would be."

"These things take time," Brad replies to him. "Is this the girl that you said you did some things you weren't proud of?"

Max uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, but I don't want to get into that. How are you? How's your girlfriend that you got pregnant?"

"Ah," Brad waves his hand in the air. "We actually broke up," he lies to him. "I'll still be there for the kid, but I actually met a new girl and I had to take my chances."

Max arches his eyebrow, surprised that Brad is such a player. "Really? Who is she? It's a small town, maybe I know her?"

"Her name is Robin Navy, she works at Robertson Enterprises, she's a total babe."

Max feels the blood drain from his face; why would Robin tell him she's not interested in him in anyway but suddenly be interested in Brad? Max doesn't get it but he can feel his blood boiling.

"Do you know her?" Brad asks he studies Max's reaction.

"Yea, I know her alright," Max whispers back to him. "Good luck, that's all I'm going to say."

City Hall

Daisy looks at the campaign signs that are sitting on a table in her office at City Hall and get a grin on her face. She recalls how Vinny brought her a couple of designs and together, they decided on the yellow with white print. After the decision was made, she and Vinny almost kissed. She stopped it from happening because images of Tyler came flooding into her mind. She shakes her head, trying to get Tyler out of head.

"I have to focus on my marriage," she whispers to herself. "I have to make my marriage to Vinny work. There's no other option."

She turns around when she hears a knock on her office door. Her eyes open wider in surprise when Tyler appears. He closes the door behind him and locks it.

"What are you doing?" she asks him as he moves up to her and looks her in the eyes.

"I couldn't stay away any longer," he tells her as he licks his lips. "Every time I close my eyes, I see you. I had to see you. And, I think if you're honest with yourself, you'll realize that you feel the same about me."

She turns her back to him and shuts her eyes. Immediately, she imagines him running his fingers over her naked body again.

He pulls her around and they look at one another again. "Just know, you were thinking about that night, weren't you?"

"Tyler," she whispers back to him. "We can't…."

He cuts her off by kissing her passionately. She immediately wraps her arms around him as the kiss continues. He lifts her up and she wraps her legs around him. He carries her to the sofa and crawls on top of her.

"Do you want me to stop?" he asks her.

"No," she moans. "Make love to me. Give me what I need."
