Scene One
Setting: The Calimo Mansion; The Guest House

Natasha sits in her bedroom, getting ready for her date with Cory. She’s wearing a white bathrobe with slippers. She sits in front of a large mirror and applies some light pink lip stick, and then some sparkling lip gloss. She smiles after she is done.

Kim enters the bedroom with a tray. “I have some tea,” she smiles.

Natasha turns and smiles at her friend. “I’m so happy you’re here. It’s been far too long since we’ve talked.”

Kim sits on the bed close to Natasha. She takes her friends' hand. “I know. We’ve both been so busy lately.”

“So, what’s going on you with you and Jeff?” Natasha winks.

“Hmmm...you want all the dirt?”

Natasha laughs. “You know I do!”

“Well,” Kim smiles, blushing a little. “He kissed me this morning before I left.”

Natasha gets a large smile on her face. “Whoa! Wow! I’m so happy for you!” Natasha beams, hugging her.

“We’re obviously taking it slowly, but, gosh Nat, it felt so good. It felt so...right.”

“I’m so happy for you. After the rough year you’ve had, it’s about time you found some happiness.”

Kim smiles. “We both deserve some happiness. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that you and Cory are going out tonight. I always knew he loved you.”

Natasha puts her head down a little. “We aren’t back together yet...but I have a good feeling about tonight, Kim. I can’t wait to see him.”

Kim hugs her friend again. “Everything is falling into place for us, Nat,” she smiles.

“I know.”

Scene Two
Setting: The Towers; Floor One; Kim’s Apartment

Jeff is in the living room, cleaning up some of Noah’s toys. He looks at some of the stuff and smiles at the thought of his son. ‘He’s growing up so fast,’ he thinks to himself. He stops when he sees a picture of Kim. He picks it up, and smiles. He remembers kissing her earlier in the day. Her soft lips touching his. Sliding his tongue slowly into her warm mouth, and feeling her tongue. Hearing her breath as the kiss intensified. He snaps out of it and puts the picture down when he hears the door bell ring.

He walks over to the door and opens it.

“Leah, come in. I’ve been expecting you,” he says.

“I can’t stay long. I have a late meeting at work tonight,” she says entering the apartment. “Is Kim here?”

“No, we’re alone.”

Leah sits on the sofa. “So, why did you need to see me?”

“It’s about last night.”

“What about last night? Noah and I had a wonderful time.”

Jeff glares at Leah. “Just you and Noah?”

Leah remains silent.

“Just as I thought,” Jeff says, angrily. “Robbie was there, wasn’t he? Wasn’t he Leah?”

“I don’t understand what the big problem is, Jeff. Robbie is my husband. Noah is my son. They have to get to know each other as well.”

“Noah’s not ready. He’s not ready,” Jeff yells. “This is very confusing for him. Never having a mother, to suddenly having you, the entire Calimo family and Robbie. It’s too much. You promised me Leah...damn it! You promised me you would do things my way!”

Leah gets up from the sofa, and looks at Jeff. “I did promise you. Robbie happened to come home early. There was nothing I could do. And come on, Noah and Robbie had a wonderful time.”

“That’s not the point. I mean it Leah. I won’t put my son through this. From now on, I have to be with you when you see him. You won’t confuse my son anymore than he already is.”

“Don’t you mean our son Jeff? I never thought I’d say this, but I will seek legal advice if you don’t lighten up on Robbie,” Leah threatens in a firm tone.

“Are you threatening me Leah?” Jeff asks, in surprise.

“No. I’m telling you. Lighten up, or you’ll hear from my lawyer,” Leah says grabbing her purse and heading for the door.

As the door slams shut, Jeff grabs a glass of water and smashes it against the wall. “Damn it!” he yells.

Scene Three
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Victoria’s Office

Silence befalls in Victoria’s Office as she recounts what Andy had just said to her. She then smirks, finding Andy’s suggestion almost laughable, "Two different people, that’s ridiculous."

Andy quickly negates her statement, "Actually, it’s not." The words cause the smirk on Victoria’s face to fade just as quickly. "You see, I’ve been doing some research on your mood swings and bizarre behavior," Andy continues.

Victoria takes offense, "Biz-Bizarre? You’re the one that’s been spying on me like some voyeur, so perhaps you should start analyzing your own actions."

"I don’t mean to upset you, but you’re the one that can only remember bits and pieces of the night we met. Ask yourself if this is the first time that you blacked out or haven’t been able to recall where you’ve been or how you got somewhere?" Andy offers possible symptoms in a tone of sincerity, theorizing with her whether or not she had complete control over her body.

The question causes Victoria to relive such times.

[ Flash ]

"Oh my god…" Helen says, grabbing some napkins to help her clean it up. Victoria within seconds shoves her off, baffled. "My god, my dress… you stupid klutz!" She utters.

"You’re the one…" she utters before Victoria cuts in.

"If this is ruin, I will see you get the bill." She voices, strolling off as she groans in frustration, while a perplexed Helen looks peculiarly upon her exit.

***

Victoria, in a state of confusion, puts down the duster she had been holding in her hands.

"What the hell am I doing? How did I get here?" She questioned, looking around the room quite perplexed. Feeling a sudden headache coming on, she decided to take a seat on the couch against the wall of her office.

***

Victoria slowly opens her eyes and looks at Adam. "What time is it? Why is my hair wet?" she asks.

Adam looks at her, puzzled. "You don’t remember? You’ve been up for about 45 minutes. You’ve had a shower already."

Victoria gets a dazed look on her face. Adam looks at her waiting for her to respond. ’Why can’t I remember getting up this morning?’ She asks herself. ’What’s wrong with me?’

"I remember. Must have been a momentary thing," she lies to Adam.

"OK. I’m going to shower. We can ride to the hospital together," he says.

[ End of Flash ]

The last thought really distresses her as she closes her mind and becomes aware that she is still sitting on the couch in her office with Andy. She removes herself from the couch and walks over towards her desk, looking at a picture of her and Adam, which Andy spies.

"Say that this is all true, what is it that you think is going on?" She inquires calmly, fishing for what Andy has come up with to explain her behavior.

Andy then moves from the couch as well, walking up just an inch, leaving plenty of space between him and her. "Have you ever heard of DID, better known as Dissociate Identity Disorder?" He asks with ease.

Her voice leaves its calm state upon hearing where Andy’s speculations were leading. "You think I have DID?" She turns to question him.

"You are experiencing blocks in times, mood swings, headaches... it seems pretty apparent to me that something is wrong and the sooner we run the tests--," he states in a serious, compassionate tone before Victoria cuts him off.

"I am a doctor, I would know if I had this DID." She states rashly.

Andy takes a deep breath before speaking again. "I don’t think you realize how serious this is. This isn’t something like the flu, where you can take some medication and you’ll feel all better. This is DID, which is a very serious condition--," he manages to get out before Victoria grows tired of listening to his passionate sermon.

"Before we continue, can I see your medical license that specializes you in Dissociate Disorders?" She inquired sarcastically, knowing very well that Andy had no medical license.

"Yes, my point exactly, you are preaching about something you have absolutely no authority to diagnose and personally, I’ve had my quota. Please get out of my office and stay away from me or next time I’ll notify security that we have a potential stalker on the loose." She states all in one breath.

Andy looks at her in concern, but seeing how shutdown Victoria is to his helpful advice, he decides the best thing he could do for now is leave and shows himself out. Victoria follows behind, quickly shutting the door behind him once he exits.

Scene Four
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Shane closes a file and swirls in his chair to place the file back into his filing cabinet. He swirls back to his desk, and his eye catches a photo of him and Natasha. He picks up the photo and stares at it for a moment. As he looks at the smile on Natasha’s face, he wonders to himself where it went wrong. He looks up at the door for a moment and sees Rebecca standing there.

“Can I come in?” she asks.

Shane opens a drawer in his desk and places the picture inside. “Yea come in,” he says shutting the draw.

Rebecca enters the office and shuts the door behind her. Shane gets up and walks over to her. “I’ve missed you,” he says, moving into kiss her. Rebecca opens her mouth, allowing Shane’s tongue to roll into her mouth, as the kiss begins. She lets out a slight sigh, and then pulls back.

“We can’t do this Shane...” she says, as his lips explore her neck.

“Yes...we...can...” he says slowly between kisses. “I know you want me as much as I want you...” he says lifting her on to his desk, and moving between her legs.

Rebecca returns his kiss again, and then lays back. “Make love to me,” she smiles.

Scene Five
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

The lights are dim as Helen and Adam enjoy one another in the romantic setting, their lips fully occupied by one another. Adam breaks away from kissing her and looks at her deeply, "It’s been a while since we enjoyed a night like this, alone and no distractions." He says, pulling a strand of her hair back away from her face as his left arm rest on the back of the couch.

Helen inches closer to him, "Don’t I know it and I intend to enjoy it by not talking." She says, leaning in to kiss him. She then moves her lips to his right ear and whispers inside, "In fact, I have a little surprise in the bedroom for you."

Adam grins deviously upon hearing her whisper, "Really? When do I get to unwrap it?" he inquired, nibbling on the side of her neck.

"As soon as I put it on!" She replies in a sultry tone, the response immediately causing Adam to hit the brakes.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" He inquires excitedly like a kid on Christmas Day. "Hurry and get in the bedroom." he adds in his next breath.

She asks in a look of innocence that arouses Adam, "What about spontaneity?"

"Oh, don’t worry. Once I get in that bedroom, I’ll show you spontaneous." He moves in for another taste of her soft lips and then gives her a reprieve.

"Ooh Mr. Black." She remarks after his tentative kiss, stepping up from the couch and walking off to her right, touching the back of the couch gently as she walks stealthily around the corner headed to their bedroom, Adam watches adoringly. Peering from around the corner, "Give me a minute." She smiles.

"I’ll give you 30 seconds." He smiles in return and Helen speeds into the bedroom. Adam decides he can endure 30 more seconds and waits. As he prepares to follow after Helen, he hears a knock at the door. He quickly grunts, but decides to ignore it and heads for the bedroom. However, the knock sounds louder the second time, so Adam decides to just answer it and get rid of them.

Walking quickly to the door, his face goes blank upon seeing Andy’s at his door. Figuring Andy for a salesman, he quickly responds, "I am not interested in buying anything."

Andy manages to stop the door before it slams in his face. "I’m not selling anything. You are Adam Black, correct?" Asking to clarify that he is the man from the picture on Victoria’s desk.

"Yes, who are you?" Adam responds, looking on inquisitively.

"Andy Spinnes! May I come in?" Adam gives Andy a blank look upon hearing the request. Andy further adds on, "This is really important!

Adam gestures aside and Andy proceeds inside as Adam closes the door behind him. Proceeding toward Andy, who stops half way behind the couch. "What is this about?" Adam inquires.

"Dr. Victoria Franky. She’s in serious trouble and you may be the only one who can help her." Andy states adamantly.

Scene Six
Setting: The Calimo Mansion; The Guest House

Natasha enters the living room, wearing a white silk dress, with small pink flowers on it. She has her hair pinned up, with matching pink pins, and a simple necklace. She looks outside and sees Cory walking to the door. She smiles, and touches her stomach, trying to calm the butterflies inside.

‘This is silly....he’s Cory,’ she thinks to herself and she looks in the mirror one last time to check her make up. The doorbell rings, and Natasha walks to the door.

She opens it, and smiles. “Hey,” she says.

“Wow, you look...amazing,” Cory says. Natasha smiles, and notices Cory’s tight black shirt and black dress pants.

“You don’t look so bad either,” she says, noticing the biceps on her husband.

“Are you ready to go?” he asks.

“Go? I thought we were staying here?”

Cory smiles. “We are. Come on,” he says holding out his hand for Natasha.

Natasha’s hand slides into Cory’s, and he locks it. Natasha smiles. She had forgotten how nice it was to hold hands with the man she loves. They begin walking together. “Where are you taking me?” she asks.

“You’ll see,” he says, as the enter the garden.

Natasha looks around her mother’s garden, as she hadn’t been in yet this year. The lilacs are in full bloom, allowing a heavenly scent to set upon them. Soon, they arrive at a blanket and a picnic basket, overlooking three large lilac trees and a small pond. Three large candles give them a little light.

Natasha gasps. “It’s so beautiful Cory,” she says slowly.

“Not nearly as beautiful as you,” he says. “Come sit.”

They sit on the blanket. “How on earth did you do this?”

“I owe a lot to your mother,” he says, opening the basket and finding a bottle of champagne. He pops the cork, and pours her a glass. “A toast,” he says handing her a glass. “To us.”

They click glasses and take a drink.

Scene Seven
Setting: The Victors Home; Vinny and Meggan’s House

The steam coming out of Meggan’s ears is evident as she slams the door to her home close upon leaving Patricia’s place. The loudness of the door slamming alerts Vinny to her presence, causing him to fly out of the living room.

Vinny smiles as he approaches her, "There you are, I was starting to worry something had happened to you."

Meggan returns a slight smile back, "I was just grabbing the mail." She responds, as she places the mail and her keys on the coffee table at her side and proceeds inside the living room.

Vinny follows behind, "Well, you were gone for quite a while, but your car was still in the parking lot." He states in a curious tone.

"Well, I ran into a friend of yours along the way. Blonde, petite, good for holding hands in corner booths." She subtly remarks, hinting on to Vinny’s whereabouts last nights.

"You saw me with Patricia, last night?" He implies from the remark.

Meggan replies as she walks over and readjusts some of the magazines and artifacts on the table, "Patricia? So that’s her name?" She finally refocus her attention on him.

Vinny gives her an adoring stare as he tries to explain. "Patricia and I are just mutual acquaintances. There is nothing going on--"

Meggan intercedes, "I don’t need to hear this. Believe me, I’ve heard quite enough from little Patricia.

"Maybe I wouldn’t feel the need to explain myself if my wife trusted me enough to come to me with her concerns instead of airing it on unsuspecting people." He announces to his wife.

Meggan is offended by the declaration, "This so-called acquaintance of yours is the one that insinuated something was going on, I was simply there to tell her not to get any ideas."

"Because you couldn’t trust me to handle the situation. Do you have in faith in our marriage at all, in me?" Vinny ask, feeling wronged and hurt.

"Of course, I do!" She states emotionally.

"Then why don’t you start acting like it?" He barks, then heads for the door. Meggan chokes back the tears as her eyes come to face with a bottle of vodka on the mantle. She walks slowly over and picks it up and goes over to the glass on the table which she recently adjusted and for a moment, rethinks pouring the vodka in the glass, but as a tear finally drops. She fills her small glass with the vodka and downs the whole glass. She then gives herself a refill.

Scene Eight
Setting: A Lot, up for Lease

A woman wearing a big hat and sunglasses enters the building and looks around. She smiles. Her striking red hair hangs down her back, as she looks at the place.

“This is perfect,” she says to herself.

“So you like it,” a man says.

“Yes. I want it. How much again?”

“$25,000. Cash.” he says. “You got that...Ms...”

“Nova. Cassie Nova,” she says matter of factly. “And yes, I have it. Where do I sign?”

Scene Nine
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

Adam folds his hands across his chest, "What do you mean, serious trouble?" He asks with a hint of concern.

"I believe she has Dissociate Identity Disorder - DID - and if so, if this is not handled soon, who knows what danger she could pose to herself and/or others." Andy responds.

"Well, why come to me if she poses such a danger? I mean, Victoria and I aren’t exactly close.

Andy jumps in, "But I think she feels close to you. You may be the only one that can encourage her to seek help."

Just as Andy ends, a restless Helen comes strolling into the room in her silk-laced bikini with her blue robe open, revealing her nice curved body. "What’s going on, Mr. Black? I’ve been... Oh! I wasn’t aware we had company." She grins nervously, closing her robe upon seeing Andy.

Andy admired her for a split second and then turned back to Adam. "I’m sorry, I really must have a knack for this. Perhaps I can come back later." Andy reveals, gearing pass Adam to the door.

Helen speaks abruptly, "No, you weren’t interrupting anything. Besides, you obviously felt that whatever your reason was for being here was important."

Adam turns to Helen, "Well, apparently Andy here thinks Victoria has some kind of dissociate disorder," he explains to Helen as he stands in between the two.

"DID, better known as Dissociate Identity Disorder, scientifically defined as a mental process, which produces a lack of connection in a person's thoughts and sense of identity." Andy states, giving a clearer picture to both Helen and Adam.

"Well, I admit she is a bit off the wall at times, but this. No, I don’t see it." Helen states firmly.

Adam rebuts her statement, "I have to admit that this would explain some of her strange mood swings over the past couple of weeks. What if my breaking up with her was the final straw?"

"And what if this is all apart of her elaborate plan to lure you back into her web?" Helen gives Adam another alternative to Victoria’s sudden illness.

Andy jumps in, "Obviously there is some history between you two, but I don’t believe this is a ruse. I think there is something seriously wrong and I really need Adam’s help.

Adam cues in hastily, leaving Helen for a loop. "I’ll do what I can," he clarifies, turning back to Helen, who is not very happy with his decision. "You do understand that if he’s right, then I have to step in."

Helen holds back her real disappointment and puts on a happy face, "Yeah, of course!" She hugs him tightly and he embraces her, forgetting Andy’s presence. Andy quietly leaves the couple to one another.

Scene Ten
Setting: The Calimo Mansion; The Garden

The moon shines brightly down on Cory and Natasha as they finish their picnic. Natasha takes another drink of her champagne.

“Do you want more?” Cory asks.

“Why, Mr. Calvin, are you trying to get me drunk?”

Cory smiles. “Is it working?”

Natasha laughs, and lays down on the blanket. “Look how beautiful the stars are tonight, Cory. It really makes you realize how tiny we are in the universe,” she says.

Cory moves closer to her, and puts his finger on her face. “I would look up, but I can’t take my eyes off you,” he says.

Natasha looks at her husband, and smiles. He moves closer to her and kisses her. Natasha responds, but he pulls back. “Are you sure?” he says.

“Yes,” she says.

Cory gets up and removes his shirt and belt from his pants. He lays down on top of Natasha and begins to kiss her passionately.

His lips move to her neck, as her nails dig into his back. “Cory...I’ve missed you so much,” she sighs.

Scene Eleven
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Shane stands up and puts on his boxers, with a smirk on his face.

“You ok?” he calls to Rebecca, who is in his personal bath room.

“I’m fine,” she calls back. She emerges from the washroom, naked.

Shane looks at her again. “Damn. You better get dressed, or we’ll have round two right away,” he smiles.

“That wouldn’t be so bad,” she smiles, as she approaches to kiss him.

***

Outside the office, Jason walks up. ‘I know it’s late,’ he tells himself, ‘but I need to talk to Shane. Maybe he can help me figure out what’s going on with Rebecca.’

Jason arrives at the door, and hears a woman's laughter.

“Is Shane seeing someone?” he whispers to himself. He opens the door slightly and sees Rebecca, naked, kissing Shane.

Scene Twelve
Setting: The Calimo Mansion; The Gardens

Cory lays on the blanket, holding Natasha in his arms. Both still sweaty and out of breath from the passion they just produced.

“I’m so happy right now,” he tells her.

“Yea, me too...” she says, rubbing his chest with her hand. She shuts her eyes for a moment...and Shane’s face appears to her. She jolts up.

“What’s wrong?” he asks.

“Nothing....” she covers. “It was nothing, I just got a chill.”

“Well come here baby...I’ll keep you warm,” he says kissing her.
