Scene One - The Glubbs House; Shane & Jacob's Home

"Do you need help with anything?" Cassie asks Shane as she sits in the living room of the house, watching Jacob play on the floor in front of her, while Shane is in the kitchen preparing dinner for them. She watches the young boy as he plays with the firetruck and she can't help get a smile on her face at the sight; it's been a long time since she has been around a child so young. She pauses for a moment when she thinks she hears him wheeze a little, but when it doesn't continue, she passes it off as nothing.

Shane comes into the living room holding two glasses of wine and passes her one. "Nope," he tells her. "I have it all under control. Thanks again for having dinner with us tonight."

"Of course," Cassie cheers his glass. "Thanks for the invite."

"Well, like I said the other day at the hospital, I feel bad for what happened. I should have believed you when you said you had nothing to do with Natasha's fall."

"Water under the bridge," Cassie purses her lips together. "Did you hear on the news about the threat of an ice storm this spring?"

Shane nods back to her. "I did," he admits to her. "I'm hoping the meteorologist is wrong because an ice storm is always chaos for the hospital."

"Yea, people still drive when they shouldn't," Cassie says before she takes a sip of her wine. "Anyways, Jacob is very cute playing with his firetruck."

"Yea, it's his favorite toy," Shane smiles at the sight of his son.

"I can't imagine it's been easy," Cassie replies to him. "I mean, sharing custody with Natasha after such a messy divorce."

"We always try to put Jacob first," Shane tells her. "After everything he went through as a premature baby, we know he's a blessing."

"Wait, Shane," Cassie says pointing to Jacob. "Is he turning blue? Is he choking on something?"

Shane rushes down to Jacob, who is having difficulties breathing. "Jacob, buddy, are you okay?" Shane asks him, as he looks at his son, who has started to gasp for air.

"What's happening?" Cassie asks in a panic. "I thought I heard him cough earlier but when it didn't continue, I didn't think anything of it!"

"He's having trouble breathing, we have to get him to the hospital," Shane tells her as he grabs Jacob and rushes to the door. "It could be his lungs! Come on Jacob, you'll be fine. I promise you, you'll be fine!"

Scene Two - Tyler's Townhouse

Kim slowly walks up to the front door of Tyler's house and pauses before she knocks. She has been dreading this all day because she knows why Tyler asked her over: he will want an answer about what she is going to do about his blackmail. She knows that if she doesn't agree to give their relationship another chance at working out, he will tell Bob that they had sex on New Year's Eve, and he has video proof. She just wishes she knew what she was going to do; the last thing she wants is to get back together with Tyler because she loves her husband. Kim, however, has no idea what to say or do to make Tyler realize that.

"I still can't believe you're doing this to me," she whispers to herself as she finally knocks on the front door.

Tyler opens the door and lets his former lover into his house. "Thanks for coming by."

"I don't think I had much choice," she spits as she throws her jacket over the sofa. "Are we alone?"

"Yes," Tyler nods back to her. "Why? Did you want to do something in particular?"

"Get your head out the gutter Tyler," Kim snaps back to him, knowing that sex is the last thing on her mind. "I'm not here to have sex with you."

Tyler chuckles a little to her. "Well, fine," he tells her. "We have all the time in the world for that anyways. I've asked you here because I'm tired of waiting. I want to know what you're going to do; are you going to come back to me? Or, am I going to tell Bob about what we did on New Year's Eve?"

Scene Three - Robertson Enterprises; Dominick's Office

Dominick sits at his desk looking over the latest numbers from the facial cream sales, and he can't help but still be impressed. He never expected the sales to be as strong as they are; not that he is complaining, he always wanted this to be a huge success for his company. The fact that he has beat Bob with this product is icing on the cake.

His mind, however, is also on the fact that Eva lied to him, and everyone, with the fact that she knew that Frederick was brainwashing Felicia into believing that she didn't love him anymore. Since then, Dominick divorced Felicia and married Eva. He just can't help but wonder what would have happened if Eva had been honest about Frederick's plan from the start.

"Maybe I wouldn't have married you," he whispers as he looks at the picture of him and Eva on the wedding day. "Maybe, I would still be married to Felicia."

He stands up and walks over to the bar in his office and pours himself a brandy. "I just can't believe that you knew what Frederick was doing and you kept it to yourself because you wanted to marry me."

He takes a drink of the brandy and shakes his head. "Enough of that," he tells himself. "This will settle itself out in good time. Right now, I have to focus on the company. I have to focus on the facial cream and make sure that Robertson Enterprises stays on top."

He moves back to his desk and looks at the sales again. "These numbers keep getting better and better," he whispers to himself. "And, the boutique has almost sold out of the facial cream. I will order another shipment right now. I will keep these sales up, no matter what."

***

In the studio, Max is looking over some prints as he recalls his meeting with Robin and Dominick earlier in the day when Dominick announced that the facial cream sales were even better than expected. Max can't help but feel proud of the fact that he and Robin worked so quickly, and hard, on the re-launch ads. The fact that his pictures are being used to sell this very successful product, Max almost can't believe himself.

He looks up when he hears someone come into the studio and he feels his heart skip a beat when he sees Robin walking up to him. He can't help notice how great she looks.

"Hey," he smiles to her. "I have some prints that I want you to look at it. I think we have to get Chanel back in here because there's something off in the pictures. I can't place it, exactly, though."

"I'd love to look them over," Robin tells him. "But, can it wait? After my Dad told us how good we are doing, I thought I'd celebrate!"

Max looks back at her, his mind wondering about how they could celebrate together the success of the facial cream. "That sounds like a great idea," he nods back to her. "What did you have in mind?"

"I'm going to have dinner at the Pampa Grill," she tells him. "Adam was really excited for me, so he's taking me out."

"Ah," Max tries to hide his disappointment in the fact that his father is going to celebrate with Robin and not him. "That was nice of him?"

"Yea it was," Robin smiles, not realizing how upset Max is with her news. "Do you want to join us?"

"No," Max quickly replies to her. "I don't want to intrude, plus these prints, I have to get them done. I don't want Dominick to think I'm slacking because of the success of the facial cream ads."

"Okay," Robin smiles to him. "Don't work too hard, okay?"

Max watches her leave the studio before he runs his hand through his hair. "Damn you, Adam," he whispers to himself. "You're always coming between me and Robin. How am I ever going to make her realize that we belong together if you're always interfering?"

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

"Hey, I heard on the news that there's a threat of an ice storm this year," Lukas tells Donovan as they sit across from one another in the back booth. "I have to tell you, that kind of scares me."

Donovan chuckles back to his lover before he takes a sip of his latte. "Well, I've never lived through one myself, but the idea of them actually sounds kind of cool. I mean, freezing rain? Just think of the images? Entire trees frozen in ice? I dunno, it could be cool to see."

"Only, it's dangerous," Lukas chuckles back to him.

"Good point," Donovan nods back to him. "Anyways, the weather men can be wrong. Hopefully it doesn't happen, or it's not as bad as they are predicting."

"True," Lukas says back to him. "So, can we talk about last night?"

Donovan looks up and into his eyes, recalling how the previous night the two finally made love again after months of wanting each other. Donovan can't remember a time that he has been so content in his life, and it's all because of his relationship with Lukas.

"Are you about to tell me that you didn't have a good time?" Donovan asks him.

"The opposite," Lukas reveals to him. "It was amazing. Or was it just me?"

"Nah, I was there," Donovan winks back to him. "It was amazing. And, I can't wait for it to happen again."

"Do you want to leave?" Lukas asks him with a chuckle. "Because, last night was just the start. I think we should be exploring each other all over again."

"I like the way you think," Donovan smiles back to him as he stands up from the booth. They turn to leave when they see Craig walk into the coffeehouse.

"Hey guys," Craig says as he comes up to them. "Looks like you two are happy. Does that mean you're back together?"

Donovan uneasily smiles back to his ex-boyfriend, not wanting to make it uncomfortable for Craig. "Well, cool. I'm happy for you, both of you," Craig says back to them, even though he feels like he's been punched in the stomach.

"Thanks Craig," Donovan manages to say back to him, not wanting to make this an awkward conversation.

"Yea, we never meant to hurt anyone," Lukas chimes in. "But it's cool that you're taking this so well."

Craig uneasily nods back to them. "Well, I'm going to grab my coffee and head to the hospital. Have a good one."

"You too," Donovan manages to say as Lukas grabs his hand and they rush out of the coffeehouse, still wanting to get back to Lukas' bedroom.

Scene Five - Tyler's Townhouse

"You haven't said anything?" Tyler asks Kim, as she walks over to the bar and pours herself a whiskey. "What are you going to do?"

Kim drinks the liquid down in one gulp. She sets the glass down before she turns back and looks at him. "I can't believe you're making me do this," she whispers back to him. "We have a child together!"

"That's why I'm doing this!" Tyler pleads with her. "Blake deserves a chance to be a family with both of his parents together!"

"Despite me not wanting to be with you?" she asks him as she feels her eyes swell with water. "So much has happened, Tyler. And, my God," she gasps as a tear falls down her cheek. "I don't love you anymore."

"You're suppressing your feelings," he tells her. "If you just gave us a chance, you'd realize that we are good together. We always have been."

Kim shakes her head before she wipes her eyes dry from the tears. "I'm sorry Tyler, but I love Bob. I want my marriage to work."

"What are you saying?" he asks her in surprise.

"I'm saying," she steadies her voice. "I'm staying with Bob. I'm going to tell him the truth about New Year's Eve. I'm going to tell him that I sent you the formula for the facial cream and that you were blackmailing me into silence and then sex. It's the only option I have."

"No," Tyler yells back at her. "You have another option!"

"I don't know what part of I don't you love you anymore you don't understand," she replies to him. "So, that's my decision. I'm telling Bob the truth. I'm going to confess everything to my husband. I just hope to God he understands why I've done the things that I've done."

Scene Six - The Tower's, The Penthouse; Cory & Natasha's Home

"So, Chris hired you to represent him?" Cory asks Natasha as he pours two glasses of wine and moves over to the sofa where Natasha is sitting.

"Yup," she smiles back to him. "And before you ask, I am sure that I'm ready to go back to work. I actually think it will be good for me. It will help me get my mind off the fact that I can't have any more children and the fact that Cassie Nova is still in Shane's life. That is something I will never understand."

"You're right; work will be good for you getting over that. Because, Shane is old enough to make his own decisions."

"I know he is," Natasha replies to him before she takes a sip of her wine. "But, she is around my son, that's what really bothers me. God knows what that woman will do to Jacob."

"I don't think Shane would let anything bad happen to Jacob," Cory tells her. "You know he loves that little boy more than anything."

"You're right, as per usual," she smiles to him. Before she can say anything, her phone starts ringing. "I wonder who that could be."

"Hello," she says as she grabs her phone from the coffee table. "Cassie? Why are you calling me?....What? My God! I'll be right there!"

She hangs up the phone and stands up quickly. "What is Nat? What's wrong?" Cory stands up next to her.

"It's Jacob," she says in a worried voice. "He's at the hospital. He's not breathing properly."

"Let's go, I'll drive," Cory rushes to the door.

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I just called Natasha," Cassie announces to Shane as she comes into the waiting room, where Shane is pacing back and forth. "She's on her way."

"Thank you," Shane nods back to her. "I can't believe this is happening."

"He'll be fine," Cassie tries to tell him. "He's a strong boy. He'll be just fine."

Shane shakes his head as he finally lets out some emotion. "I don't know Cassie," he admits to her. "He had so many issues with his lungs because he was premature. I hope this isn't another infection or worse…"

"We can't think the worst," she puts her hands on his shoulders. "Jacob will be fine. We have to believe that."

He pulls her into a hug. "I hope you're right," he says back to her. "My God, I hope you're right. I don't know what I'd do if anything happens to my son."
