Scene One - - Frederick's Office

Lukas pauses outside of his father's office as he tries to calm his racing heart inside his chest. He has come to see Frederick because he wants to finally be honest with him: that he is a gay man and has been living as a gay man for years. He doesn't know how his father will react but the times he has thought about coming out to his father before, Frederick never handles it well. He doesn't know if that's just because he is thinking the worst or if he really believes that Frederick won't take the news well.

Before he knocks, he recalls when he was here earlier, he heard Eva in Frederick's office and his father was blackmailing her with some kind of information. He knows that Frederick is in love with Felicia, but he doesn't know what Eva could possibly do to help him get the woman back in his life. Lukas knows all too well that Felicia wants nothing to do with him after the truth about Frederick brainwashing her came out, and then, that Frederick had Leah at the winery in Santa Barbara. He just hopes his father is alone now.

He shakes his head, telling himself to stay to focused on what he is trying to do with his father; coming out. He finally knocks on the door and then opens it slowly.

"Oh, Lukas," Frederick smiles as he looks up from his paper work at his desk and looks at his son. "This is a surprise, son."

"I need to talk to you," Lukas says, almost in a whisper. He knows that he has to find the strength from somewhere to finish this.

"Sure, come in," Frederick tells his son as Lukas walks over to the bar and pours himself a whiskey. "I'll have one of those too, if you don't mind."

"Of course not," Lukas replies as he pours his father a drink as well.

"What's wrong? You look pale as a ghost," Frederick observes to Lukas as they each take a sip of their whiskey.

"I have something to tell you," Lukas admits to him. "And, it's not easy."

"You can tell me anything, anything at all, you know that," Frederick tells him. "What's going on?"

Lukas gulps and walks away from his father. "You know that I've always been … different, right?"

"Different? I'm not sure I understand."

"I've never been like the other guys at school or at work," Lukas continues to tell him. "And there's a reason for that."

"I am still lost by what you are getting at," Frederick admits to him.

"I'm gay Dad," Lukas finally reveals to him. "I'm attracted to men. I sleep with men. I'm a homosexual."

Scene Two - The Claus House; Jeff & Leah's Home

"Robbie isn't home right now?" Jeff asks Leah as he moves onto the sofa next to her and sits beside her. He tries not to stare at her, but he finds himself looking longingly at her because he still can't believe that she is alive and well. The last time he was with her, they had just gotten married in Lake Tahoe. Everything since the Santa Barbara trip has happened so quickly. He feels like his head is still spinning.

Leah shakes her head no. "I think he went to get Paige," she tells him. "I know that I should remember her but I don't, but we are going to try spending time together to see if that triggers my memory."

"Seems like a good idea. I know Paige would like that," Jeff replies to her. "You don't remember much of anything of the last couple years?"

She quickly shakes her head. "I wish I did, it seems like a lot happened."

"Yea, a lot happened," he agrees with her. "You don't remember anything about … you and me?"

Leah looks back at him and wonders what he means exactly. "I mean, I remember that we got married when we were 16 years old. I remember that we had a son, Noah. Your parents, they didn't want me to have him but you kept him."

"That's right," Jeff tells her. "That was a long time ago."

"Seems like a lifetime ago," she agrees with him. "Where is Noah now?" she asks him. "I'd love to see my son."

Jeff gulps and looks back at her. If he didn't believe her before that she has amnesia, he does now. There is no way that she would want to relive Noah's death if she didn't have too.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Where is our son?" she asks him again.

"I'm so sorry Leah," he begins to tell her. "He was killed. Noah is dead."

"What?" Leah gasps as tears rush into her eyes.

"What's going on in here?" Robbie asks Jeff and Leah as he comes into the living room, with Paige right behind him. "Leah? What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Scene Three - The Pier

Robin walks down the pier looking out into the river, her mind racing about everything that happened at the hospital. Cory had sent her a text message asking her to come to the hospital and when she got here, it was revealed that Cory's child was actually Caroline Fitzpatrick's. Melissa had planned to use Caroline's baby to pass it off as Rebecca's in hopes of Rebecca keeping Cory for herself. Robin can't believe that her mother and sister would go to such lengths to keep her away from Cory. Now, Cory has lost another child.

As a tear strolls down her cheek, she can't help but realize that she may have played into their hands by leaving Cory. Still, she doesn't know how to forgive him for sleeping with her sister in the first place.

"Robin," a voice calls out that makes Robin freeze in her tracks. "Please wait."

She turns around and sees Melissa and Rebecca approaching her. "What the hell are you two doing here? I told you at the hospital that I never wanted to see either of you again."

"You're my sister," Rebecca pleads with her as she reaches Robin. "I know what I did was wrong."

"You think?" Robin asks her in shock back. "You lied about being pregnant! You were going to raise another woman's baby as yours! And for what? Just to keep a man for yourself? Do you know how pathetic that is?"

Rebecca shakes her head back to her sister. "I know," she whispers as she fights tears in her eyes. "Look, I'm leaving town today. I just wanted to see you one more time to tell you how sorry I am. I get that I screwed up."

"Save your apologies," Robin spits back to her. "Same for you, mother. I never want to see either of you again. You've put me through hell and back. There's no coming back from that."

"Robin, I'm your mother!" Melissa protests back to her. "Everything I've done, I've done for you."

"Get on that plane, mother, and I hope you never, ever come back," Robin tells her before she walks quickly by them. She hopes that they listen to her this time; she never wants to see Melissa or Rebecca again.

Scene Four - The Pampa Grill

"My God," Natasha gasps to Cory as he just finished telling her everything that happened at the hospital with Caroline, Melissa, Rebecca and Robin. "I can't believe that they would try to take another woman's baby and pass it off as yours and Rebecca's."

"I feel like such a fool," Cory tells her before he takes a sip of his double gin and tonic. After leaving the hospital, he needed a stiff drink. "This explains why Rebecca never wanted me to touch her during the so called pregnancy or let me into the doctor's appointments."

"You can't blame yourself, Cory," Natasha tells him. "They had everyone fooled."

"I should have asked more questions," he continues to berate himself. "I'm just glad that Caroline told the truth."

Natasha shrugs her shoulders. "No mother wants to see her child sick. I hope the baby lives."

"So do I," Cory tells her. "Sorry for venting all of this to you. It's just a hard pill to swallow."

"Don't apologize," Natasha smiles back to him. "That's what friends are for," she tells him. "I'm always here for you. I'm just sorry that you had to go through this."

"Anyways, what's new with you? Anything on the Shane front?" he asks her, desperate to change the topic.

Natasha nods back to him before she digs something out of her purse. "What are those?" Cory asks her.

"Divorce papers," she reveals to him. "Shane has signed them and he has asked me to do the same."

"You haven't yet?" he asks her back.

"No," she informs him. "But hearing this story you just told me, it makes me realize that I should. I can't keep fighting for something that isn't there anymore. I have to let him go."

"What are you going to do?"

"Sign my divorce papers," she tells him. "My marriage to Shane is over."

Scene Five - The Sugarbowl

"Hey, whoa, slow down," Adam tells Robin as she storms past him quickly in the coffeehouse, her blood boiling over the nerve of Melissa and Rebecca. "What's gotten into you."

"Oh Adam," she says as she tries to catch her breath. "I'm glad you're here. You won't believe what just happened."

Adam arches his eyebrow. "I won't huh?" he asks her. "Do you wanna go somewhere else and talk about it? I mean, I could offer to get you a coffee but you look like you could use something much stronger."

"I could," she manages to smile back to him, knowing she could use a drink. "Can I have a hug first?"

"Of course," Adam replies to her as he pulls her into a hug. "Hugs are free, and I'm really good at giving them."

Outside the coffeehouse, Max peers through the window and sees his father hugging Robin. The sight makes him feel uneasy because he knows that he wishes he was the one holding Robin; he has developed a crush on her and he can't help but wish she felt the same way about him.

"One day," he whispers before walking off. "She will be mine."

Scene Six - The Claus House; Jeff & Leah's Home

"What the hell were you thinking?" Robbie asks Jeff as they stand off to the side of the living room. Robbie knows that Shane told them not to tell Leah any part of the years that she can't remember because they didn't want her to become confused or disorientated, as it may delay her memory return.. The fact that Jeff just shared that Noah died makes Robbie's blood boil. "You know what Shane said!"

"I know, I know," Jeff tells him putting his hands up in defeat. "I wasn't thinking. I know that."

"Well, we can't go back now," Robbie replies to him. "How did she take the fact that Noah is gone?"

Jeff shrugs. "It's like we are back to that day he was hit by the car," Jeff tells him. "She was devastated, of course."

Robbie shakes his head. "Damn, I was scared this would happen."

"I know," Jeff grits his teeth. "I could kill Frederick for what he has done to this family! That man has to pay!"

Robbie finds himself agreeing. "I couldn't agree more."

Scene Seven - Frederick's Office

"I'm sorry," a shocked Frederick replies to Lukas. "I…I don't think I heard you correctly."

"Yes, you did, Dad," Lukas says back to him. "I'm gay. And, is this really a huge surprise? You had no idea?"

"Of course, I had no idea," Frederick yells back at him as he slams his whiskey glass down on his desk. "But you know what? That's fine."

"It's fine?" Lukas asks him back.

"Yes, because I've heard of these places…." Frederick starts to tell him as he looks into Lukas' eyes, still processing the news. "That can help you. They can reform you!"

Lukas shakes his head back to him, flabbergasted at what Frederick is suggesting to him. "I don't need to be reformed, Dad. This is who I am. This is who I want to be!"

"My son is not a goddamn faggot!" Frederick yells at him. "Do you hear me? You can't be! I forbid it!"

"You forbid me to be myself?" Lukas asks him, starting to raise his voice back to Frederick. "This is unbelievable! This is exactly why I never told you!"

"Let me tell you one thing," Frederick glares back at him. "If you want to be in my life you will get help or else."

"Or else what?"

"I will disinherit you," Frederick whispers back to him. "You won't have another dime of my money! Not now, not ever!"
