Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"When do you think we will hear something?" a nervous Rebecca asks Cory as he paces back and forth in her hospital room as she lays in bed. She secretly wants to pace as well, but she knows she still has to act like she just gave birth and like she's still recovering from that. Shortly after Cory came to meet "their" daughter, he noticed that the baby wasn't breathing. She called for the nurse, and the baby was taken away and they haven't heard anything yet. Both of them are worried sick that something is seriously wrong with the child, and she can't help but wonder if Caroline knows what is happening. After all, she is the biological mother of the child. She should know what's happening to her baby.

"I wish I knew," Cory replies to her with a heavy sigh. He, in particular, can't believe this is happening. For him, it's sort of déjà vu, considering his child with Robin, whom was also a girl, was stillborn. "Do you want me to go and get an update?"

"Would you mind?" Rebecca asks him as he shakes his head no. "I'll request a wheelchair and head over to the NICU as soon as I can."

"Okay, and if I hear anything, I'll head back as soon as I can. Just stay positive. That's all we can do."

"No, we can do more," Rebecca replies to him as their eyes lock. "We can pray."

Cory arrives outside the NICU unit and looks inside the large window where he can see many incubators with babies in them. Standing over one of the incubators, is Shane is with a nurse and they are looking at a small baby, his baby girl. Cory hopes that everything is okay with his daughter; he can't imagine going through the death of another child.

He runs his hands through his hair as Shane notices him standing outside. The door soon opens and Shane emerges into the hallway with a look of concern on his face.

"How is she?" Cory asks him, his voice filled with worried.

"She has a blocked heart valve," Shane reveals to Cory. "Now, it's not the most uncommon thing in newborns, these things happen. But, it does mean that we have to operate. The sooner we operate, the better."

Cory shakes his head in disbelief. "What does that mean, exactly? Is it risky?"

"It is only risky because she is young," Shane admits to him. "But if we don't, she will have difficulties for the rest of her life, that is, if she makes it. We don't have much time, but I'll let you review with Rebecca."

"Can she die in the surgery?" Cory asks him, dreading the worse.

"She may, of course, because she's so young, but this is a standard procedure," Shane informs him. "We do them all the time. She's at more risky by not doing the surgery."

"Of course, then, we will do the surgery," Cory tells him. "I know Rebecca's answer already."

"Very well, I'll prep my team," Shane replies to him quickly before he walks off, knowing he has to gather his team.

Cory moves up closer to the window and peers inside hoping to see his daughter. He turns around, knowing he has to get to Rebecca to give her the update. He starts to leave the NICU, when a woman comes around the corner in a hospital gown and robe. Cory does a double take and his mouth drops open in shock.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he asks as he sees Caroline Fitzpatrick moving towards him. "I thought I'd never see you again."

Caroline's eyes are red from crying. She was listening to Cory's conversation with Shane and knows what trouble her daughter is in. She shakes her head at him. "I heard about the baby," she whispers back to him as her voice cracks. "I know she needs surgery."

"What the hell are you talking about? Why do you care about my baby?"

Scene Two - The Sugarbowl

Trenyce pours some cream into her coffee and then quickly stirs it before she puts a lid on her coffee. She takes a sip of it and instantly feels better about the day. She hopes to head over to see Daisy to ensure that she is doing okay from the reveal that Jemma is really her mother and Frederick is her father, after he raped Jemma years ago. Trenyce knows that Frederick is claiming that he seduced Jemma, but everyone believes Jemma's story to be true. She also knows that this can't be easy for Daisy to grasp.

She turns around to leave the coffeehouse when she stops in her tracks. Coming inside is Andrew; the young man looks around and moves closer to the lineup when he sees Trenyce. She can't believe that he is in Twin Peaks; she thought he'd stay in Santa Barbara or head back to school.

"Andrew," she says, still in surprise as she moves closer to the young man she believed was her son for so many years. "I…I can't believe you're here."

Andrew nods back to her. "Frederick asked me to come back with him, so here I am."

"What about school?"

"I decided to take a year off and see what happens," Andrew admits to her. "Look, Trenyce," he continues to tell her. "I meant what I said in Santa Barbara; I don't want to be around you or Chris. You guys killed my mother, I have nothing more to say to you. Either of you, so if you don't mind, just leave me alone, okay?"

Trenyce watches him go up to the counter to order his drink as she feels her heart break inside her chest. She hates that this is all happening because of Frederick. She turns to leave the coffeehouse, stopping once to look back at Andrew, before she leaves the building. Outside, she grabs her phone and sends Chris a quick text message, "Andrew's in town. Frederick has him under his thumb."

Eva collects her bundle of coffee's that she is grabbing for everyone that is at the hospital, waiting for Leah to be discharged. She turns around to leave and sees Frederick coming into the coffeehouse. She can't believe everything that happened at Santa Barbara with Frederick; as if he wasn't in enough hot water with his scheme to brainwash Felicia, now he has to deal with rape accusations with Jemma and the fact that Leah is alive and he was holding here there. She can't imagine what else will come out of the doctor's past.

She hopes to ignore the doctor because she has no time dealing with him, especially because she knows he will be asking her about their arrangement. "Eva," he says coming up to her.

"I have to get back to the hospital Frederick," she quickly snaps at him. "Before these coffee's get cold."

"Well, I won't keep you long," he replies to her. "I just wanted to let you know that you better still have plans to help me get Felicia back into my good graces or else."

"How the hell do you expect me to get her back in your good graces?" she asks him. "You brainwashed her and, if that wasn't enough, you were holding her daughter hostage because she has memory loss. There's no way in hell she'll forgive you, and I can't say that I blame her."

Frederick chuckles a little back to her before his face turns cold. "You better think of something," he whispers to her. "Or say good bye to your marriage because I will tell Dominick that you knew about the brainwashing before your wedding."

"This again?" she quips back at him.

"Yes, this again," he replies as he looks directly into her eyes. "And I have nothing else to lose, Eva."

"Drop dead," she spits back to him before she walks out of the coffeehouse.

Scene Three - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"How are the sales for The Blooming Rose facial cream coming?" Dominick asks Tyler as they stand across from each other in the waiting room of the hospital. Leah should be getting discharged shortly and the entire family is still waiting for her, so Dominick decided to quickly ask Tyler how things are going at work. He knows the Santa Barbara trip was right at the time the facial cream was released.

Tyler looks back at him with excitement, knowing that they have a hit on their hands. "Better than okay," he tells his father. "They are flying off the shelves," he continues to tell them, unable to hide his joy.

"Excellent," Dominick replies to him, thrilled with the news. "I'd still like to know how you were able to obtain the formula when we were struggling so much on the final ingredient, not that I am complaining."

Tyler shrugs, knowing that Kim asked him to keep quiet. He will honour that request, for now. "Our chemist is a genius, what can I say?"

Dominick chuckles a little. "I'm just so proud of you for completing this. It will be huge for us."

"I know," Tyler says back to him. "Everything seems to be coming along so perfectly for me right now. Professionally and personally."

"Personally?" Dominick arches his eyebrow. "What's happening there? A new lady?"

Tyler smirks back to his Dad. "Actually, I think Kim and I may have a shot at being together after all."

"I brought you a coffee," Meggan tells Jeff as she passes him a cup of the cafeteria java. "I thought you could use a boost."

Jeff nods back to her. "Thanks," he replies to her. "I am exhausted, I don't think I've slept since that night of the rain storm."

"When we first saw Leah," Meggan finishes his thought, as she recalls the night that changed everything. "I still can't believe that she's alive and that my father, of all people, was keeping her at the winery. If we hadn't seen her, who knows how long she would have been left there."

"Exactly, especially since her memory may never come back. Frederick may have kept her there forever."

"How are you holding up with the fact that she can't remember?" Meggan asks him. "It can't be easy knowing that Leah may never remember marrying you."

Jeff shrugs a little. "I'm more worried about Paige," he reveals to her. "She was devastated that Leah couldn't remember her."

"I know," Meggan agrees with him. "She's been through so much and now this. Jeff, I have to ask you," she continues to tell him. "Where do we stand now? I mean, Leah was your wife and we just got married…"

Jeff takes a sip of his coffee before he looks back at her. "Honestly?" he asks her as she nods her head back to him, waiting for him to respond. "I have no idea. I feel like my head is spinning. You can understand that right?"

Meggan feels her heart break inside her chest, hearing him admit he doesn't know where they stand is a tough blow. "Yea," she manages to say back to him, even though she is lying to him.. "Of course I can."

***

"How are you holding up?" Dominick asks Felicia as he comes over to his ex-wife. He knows that she is probably still reeling from everything that has happened in the last couple of weeks. He only hopes that she is handling it okay.

Felicia sighs a little and looks back at the man she was married to for so long. "I'm okay," she tells him, looking into his eyes. "I guess I'm just overwhelmed. I never believed that this was possible."

"I know," he admits to her. "We all thought that Leah was gone forever. I can't believe but feel blessed that this has happened."

"Me too," she admits to him. "Especially after how much I contributed to that explosion in the first place."

"You know that wasn't your fault," Dominick tells her, knowing it was Bob's plan that was the cause of it all. "And now, you don't have to blame yourself anymore. It wasn't your fault."

"We have our daughter back," she smiles to him before she pulls him into a hug, just as Eva returns to the waiting room. She hates seeing the sight of her husband in Felicia's arms. "We have our beautiful baby girl back," Felicia whispers into his ears.

***

"Shane," Robbie says as the doctor comes into the waiting room, getting everyone's attention. "Can Leah go home?"

Shane looks at everyone. "She can go home, yes," he announces to everyone. "I have to go to surgery, so a nurse will be the one that prepares her discharge papers."

"This is great news," Felicia beams to everyone.

"I will give you all a piece of advice," Shane continues to tell them. "She's been through a lot these last couple of weeks. She's still in shock that she's back with her family and given her memory loss, you should all try to go easy on her."

"What are you saying?" Dominick asks him.

"I'm saying, you should go along with her. Don't confuse her or press her into remembering the missing years from her life. It could risk her memory never coming back," Shane tells them. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get ready for surgery."

Robbie looks over at Jeff. "I guess that means I should live with her," Robbie tells him. "She thinks I'm her husband. We have to go based off that. She should get better with me there; that's what Shane just said."

Jeff and Victoria shake their heads, not sure they really understand what is happening. "I guess I'm moving back into the house," Robbie tells them, even though neither one likes the idea at all.

Scene Four - The Pampa Grill

Craig picks up his orange juice and takes a drink of it while he looks at Donovan. He asked his lover to join him for breakfast today so he could try to get to the bottom of what he saw in Santa Barbara: the night of the storm, Craig emerged from his room and saw Donovan hugging Lukas. He is sure that it meant nothing, but after everything the three men have been through together, he wants to ensure that Donovan still doesn't have feelings for his ex-lover. He doesn't want to get in deeper if he will only end up hurt again.

"You look like you have a lot on your mind," Donovan tells him before he takes a sip of his coffee.

"I suppose I do," Craig replies to him quickly. "I saw you and Lukas hugging in Santa Barbara."

Donovan arches his eyebrow. "When was this?"

"The night of the storm after I went to bed. I got up to get some more water and you two were in the hallway," Craig reveals to him.

"You were spying on us?" Donovan asks him surprise. He knows that everything that happened between them was just friendly; he was just comforting Lukas after he found out that Frederick was Daisy's father because Lukas was rather upset at the news.

"No," Craig says sternly. "I just happened to see you. I don't have to be worried do I?"

Before Donovan can reply, Andy comes up to their table. "Hey guys, I'm not interrupting, am I?"

"Not at all," Donovan quickly says as Craig gives him side eye. "What's up?"

"Remember the other day when we thought we saw Lukas?" Andy asks Donovan, who nods back to him. "Well, we were right. He's here," Andy reveals to them, as Lukas comes up to the table.

"Lukas, you're back," Donovan says with a smile on his face as he stands up and hugs him. He is happy to see his ex-back in town.

"Yea, I 'm back," he replies to him. "Hi Craig."

"Lukas," Craig nods back to him, wondering why he is back in town after all this time.

"After Is aw you guys in Santa Barbara, I got to thinking about everything and you were right," Lukas reveals to them. "I did leave to sort my life out and you know what I did? Nothing," he continues to tell them. "But then, all of this drama happened with my family and I realized, my Dad will always have issues going on in his life. That just who he is, and, with everything that happened, do I even want that man in my life?"

"What are you saying?" Donovan asks him.

"I'm going to tell my father the truth," Lukas reveals to them. "I'm going to tell him that I'm gay."

Scene Five - Robertson Enterprises; The Studio

"Ms. Navy?" Max calls out as he enters the studio at Robertson Enterprises carrying a large brief case that contains his portfolio of pictures that he has taken. He looks around and can't help but have a mix of emotions, a little bit nervous for his upcoming interview with Robin and a little excitement at the idea of working at Robertson Enterprise and moreover with Robin. He still can't help but feel very attracted the woman that is about to interview with him.

"Max," Robin comes out from the black room, looking at her watch. "You're right on time, that's a very good sign. Please come in."

"Thank you," he tells her. "I brought you some prints of pictures that I have taken over the years. I thought it would be good for you to see some of my work. I hope you like them."

"I'd love that," she tells him. "Have a seat, can I get you anything…water, or a coffee?"

"Nah, I'm good thank you," he says as he sits on the sofa in the corner of the studio.

"Well, let's take a look at these pictures," Robin smiles as she opens his brief case and is instantly amazed at the pictures inside. "Goodness, these are very good shots, Max. You certainly have an eye in the camera."

"You really think so?" he asks, trying not to get excited.

"I do," she replies to him. "I noticed a lot of these are stills, so it might be a learning curve to shoot with a live model."

"I can learn," Max protests to her, trying not to sound too aggressive.

Robin nods back to him. "Tell you what, let's put you on a three month trial basis. If you prove yourself to be as good with live models are you with nature, you'll be hired full time."

"Are you kidding me right now?" he says as he stands up with a huge smile on his face. "I'm so stoked! Thank you so much Ms. Navy."

"Welcome aboard," she smiles back to him. "And Max, please call me Robin."

Scene Six - Frederick's Office

Trenyce opens the door to Frederick's office and barges in causing the doctor to look up from his paper work. He sighs wondering what she wants now; he is tired of Trenyce and everyone else in this town coming to him and telling him what a terrible person he is.

"Ms. Davenport," he says with a smirk on his face. "What do I owe this pleasure?"

"Andrew is in town," she tells him information that he already knows. "How long were you planning to keep this from me?"

"Andrew is not your concern," Frederick replies to her. "He made that clear to you and Mr. Michaels in Santa Barbara. How quickly you forget."

"You've been feeding him lies the same way you did with Felicia," Trenyce says back to him as her voice raises a little. Outside the door to his office, Chris stands and listens to them talk. He was going to go in, but he decided to give Trenyce some time alone with the doctor. He will move in if he feels like Trenyce needs back up.

"That's nonsense," Frederick tells her back, shocked that she would suggest such things.

"Is it? Is it really?" she yells at him. "You've done nothing but one dastardly deed after another but you know what? This is it! This is the last straw, I won't let you hurt my family anymore!"

"What are you getting at , Ms. Davenport?"

"I could kill you for hurting Andrew!" she yells at him.

"I haven't hurt him in the slightest."

"Everything you touch ends up hurting," she spits at him. "And I won't allow you to hurt my family anymore!"

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I just overheard what you were saying," Caroline tells Cory as she moves closer to the NICU window and peers inside. "That your baby needed to have surgery. You made the right decision."

Cory looks at her in complete shock. "Why are you in the hospital? I could still have you arrested you know, for shooting me."

"She looks so beautiful," Caroline replies to him as she keeps looking in the window. "So innocent in all of this."

Cory gets a look of confusion on his face. Why is this woman, who shot him, so concerned about his daughter? "I don't understand why you're so obsessed with my child. What is wrong with you?"

Caroline puts her hand to the window as her heart longs to be with her child again. "I can't do this," she says as a tear runs down her cheek. "I can't do this! I just can't!"

"What are you talking about?"

"That's my baby," Caroline stuns him. "That baby girl is mine, I'm her mother!"
