Previously on One Day at a Time
- When Paige testified at Shane's trial, she admitted that she was lying about having slept with Shane. The case was dismissed but the Judge ordered Shane, Dawn and Paige to court-ordered therapy. Shane, meanwhile, was cold to Natasha, who had testified she believed Shane was guilty
- Eva struggled with her guilt as she kept Frederick's secret of brainwashing Felicia into believing she didn't love Dominick. Frederick, meanwhile, was using Felicia's IPod as a way to continue to give Felicia subliminal messages about not loving Dominick
- Kim and Bob reunited before he left town to go to rehab. Before he left, Bob gave Kim a "free pass" to sleep with a man if she needed it while he was gone. Robbie, meanwhile, told Kim he appreciated her support during the trial. Victoria saw them share a few close moments
- Tyler and Trenyce continued to sleep with each other despite having feelings for Kim and Chris, respectively

Scene One - The Claus House; Jeff's Home

"How was she last night?" Robbie asks Jeff as he moves into the living room of Jeff's house. Robbie came by first thing in the morning to see how Paige handled her first night at home after the trial the day before. He still can't believe that Paige was lying about sleeping with Shane the night at the Calimo cabin. He and Jeff have to make sure Paige knows what she did was wrong; the most difficult aspect of all of this is that Paige doesn't have a mother when she could use Leah right now. Leah would know the right thing to say and do to get through to Paige. Jeff just feels like he is about to wing it.

Jeff pours Robbie a cup of coffee and passes it over to him. "She came home and went right to bed. She was exhausted, which Is understandable after what she went through on the witness stand."

"I still can't believe everything that happened yesterday," Robbie admits to him as he takes a sip of his coffee. "I can't believe that she would lie about having been with Shane that way."

"You and me both," Jeff replies to him. "We put Shane through the ringer too, all because we simply believed what Paige said."

"Yea, I feel bad about that. He has to understand, on some level, why we did what did though, don't you think? Paige has never lied about anything before."

Before Jeff can reply, Paige comes into the kitchen with sleepy eyes still. She looks at them and immediately knows that she is about to get a lecture from the two men she thinks of as her father's. She moves over to the counter and pours herself a cup of coffee, bracing herself for the disappointment that is about to come from the two men.

"Good morning," Jeff says to his daughter. "How did you sleep?"

"I don't feel like I did," Paige admits to him as she takes a sip of her coffee. "I know that I'm in trouble today, so go ahead, yell and scream at me. I know I deserve it. I lied about sleeping with Shane. I know it was wrong, I get it. But, I'm still ready for my punishment."

"We don't want to yell or scream at you," Robbie replies to her as he moves up to her. "We just want you to know that what you did was wrong. Lying about something like that, it's never okay. So many people were impacted by this. So many people were hurt."

Paige nods back to him as she feels her eyes swell with water. "I know," she admits to him. "I can't believe I let it get as far as I did. I don't know what I was thinking."

"You weren't thinking," Jeff tells her. "And that's okay. I'm going to chalk this up as you grieving your mother and you weren't thinking clearly. But Paige, something like this can never happen again."

"Don't worry," she replies to him. "I don't plan on doing something like this ever again. I've learned my lesson."

Before either man can reply, the doorbell rings. Paige looks at the men before she moves a piece of hair behind her ear. "Are we expecting someone else?" she asks them.

Jeff nods back to her. "I asked someone else to come over this morning," he reveals as he walks past them and moves to the front door. He opens the door and sees Shane standing on the other side. "Morning Shane, thanks for coming by."

Shane uneasily moves inside the house, wondering why Jeff asked him over. They haven't exactly been on good terms lately, considering everything that happened leading up to the trial. "You made it sound urgent."

Robbie and Paige move up into the foyer as well. "Shane," Paige says, embarrassed to see him for the first time since the truth came out. To her surprise, he looks better rested than the last time they saw each other. She still can't believe how much she must have put him through. "How…how are you?"

"I'm good," he says back to her. "I can't imagine the last 24 hours have been easy on you?"

"I'm so sorry," she replies to him immediately. "I know that's not enough for what I put you through, but I hope one day you can forgive me."

"That goes for me too," Robbie chimes into the conversation. "I really overacted without getting all the facts first, Shane."

"I'm sorry as well," Jeff tells him, as Shane puts his head down for a moment. He didn't expect everyone to apologize to him for what happened. It's completely overwhelming for him.

"I know that this was a hard time for everyone involved, but I appreciate you guys apologizing, I really do," Shane tells them as he gives them a quick smile. "Hopefully, we never have to go through something like this again."

"Like I told my Dad's," Paige replies to him as she looks him in the eye. "I've learned my lesson, Shane. I will never do anything like this ever again."

Scene Two - The Calimo Mansion; The Guesthouse; Dawn's Home

A large cloud of smoke looms over the sofa in the guesthouse on the Calimo mansion grounds as Dawn and Max lay across the sofa from each other sharing a joint. Dawn, after the trial from the previous day, wanted nothing more than to get high with Max all day long. She was so close to getting revenge on Natasha for breaking up her family but Paige's conscious kicked in and she admitted that she never slept with Shane on the witness stand. Dawn couldn't let her friend take all the blame, so she revealed that she was helping Paige with the plan. Now, Paige, Shane and herself will have to go to court ordered therapy. She hates that she didn't revenge on Natasha but she understands Paige's decision to come clean; if she's honest, she saw it coming. Paige had been so close to cracking the entire time.

"When do you start therapy?" Max asks her as he takes another drag and then passes the joint over to Dawn.

She sighs before she accepts the joint. "I have no idea. We have to go back to court in a couple of weeks, I guess. Wait, isn't your Mom a therapist?"

"Yea, she is," Max reveals to her. "Maybe you'll have to see her? Who knows."

"Yea, that'd be cool. I'd probably be able to tell her that I don't need the therapy," Dawn chuckles to him, already dreading going to therapy.

"Do your folks know what happened yet?"

"God, no," Dawn says. "They would have called me but it's only a matter of time."

"Maybe now is a good time for you to move back home?" Max suggests to his friend. "I mean, why not? This place is so secluded and it would show the therapist you're ready to move on from everything that has happened. Plus, you moving home may bring your folks back together."

Dawn knows that Helen has filed for divorce despite both her and Adam objecting. She still can't believe her Mom is seeing Chris Michaels while she's still married to her Dad. She really just wants her parents getting back together, which she never believed she wanted. She finds herself nodding back to Max. "You know what? I think you're right. Maybe I should move home in hopes of trying to save my parents' marriage."

Scene Three - Frederick's Office

"Have you heard from Paige yet this morning?" Frederick asks Felicia as he pours her a glass of water from the bar in his office. He wasn't surprised to see her this morning after he learned about the events that took place at the trial. He actually enjoys that Felicia turns to him in time of need.

Felicia takes the glass of water and sits down on the sofa. "No," she admits to him. "I'm just giving her time with Jeff and Robbie this morning. I am sure that they will want to talk to her about what she did. I don't want to intrude in that time with Paige, Robbie and her father."

"That makes sense," Frederick says back to her. "I'm sure they appreciate your support, regardless."

"I love that girl more than anything else in the world," she replies to him. "I just wish Leah was here; Paige needs her mother more than ever before."

Frederick sits next to Felicia and puts his hand on her leg. "I sense you could use your daughter again too," he tells her as their eyes lock.

"The entire family does," she nods back to him. "Thank you, for always being here for me, Frederick. I couldn't get through this without you."

Frederick smiles and looks into her eyes. "You know I'll always be here for you, right?" he asks her as she nods her head. "And, I was thinking about something…"

"You were? What were you thinking?"

"You're divorced from Dominick," he whispers to her as leans in closer to her. "And I've wanted to do this for so long."

Before he says anything else, he kisses her on the lips. The kiss lasts for only a moment before they separate, but he leans in and kisses her again as she gets swept away by her emotions. They part again, and she looks back at him, smiling. She can't deny that she didn't enjoy the kiss but she also is wondering why she is feeling conflicted; she doesn't love Dominick anymore, so she should enjoy kissing another man.

Scene Four - The Pampa Grill

"I'm sorry I wasn't with you for the trial yesterday," Eva tells Dominick as they sit across from each other having breakfast at the Pampa Grill. "I wanted to give you and your family some space."

"I know, but you should know that I consider you my family," Dominick replies to her.

"I appreciate that so much," she smiles back to him. "I just wanted you and Felicia to be there for your Granddaughter. I can't believe what happened though. Have you spoken to Paige this morning?"

"I sent her a quick text message but I suspect she will be talking with Jeff and Robbie today," Dominick says back to her. "I wanted to ensure they had time with her."

"And, how is Felicia?" Eva asks him, wondering how he will respond about his ex-wife. She knows that this ordeal could have brought them closer together.

Dominick sighs. "She seems to be fine. She handled everything much better than I thought. I guess that means that she's in a very good place mentally."

"That makes me smile because I have a great idea," Eva tells him as he arches his eyebrow. "Nothing will stop us from being together, Dominick. And, I think that means that we should be married. It will give this family something to celebrate. After everything that has happened, I think we all need that."

"I couldn't agree more," he says back to her. "Let's get married today!"

Scene Five - The Calimo Mansion

"I spoke to your father this morning," Kim tells Robbie and Natasha as they enter the living room of the Calimo mansion. Robbie left Jeff's house after Shane accepted his apology and wanted to come to the mansion to see Kim; he really appreciates the support she provide during the trial. And, he knows that Bob is away right now getting rehab for the strokes that he suffered. "And, he wants you to know that he still loves Paige with all of his heart."

"That sounds like something Dad would say," Natasha replies to her best friend. Natasha moves up to her and gives her hug. "I wanted to thank you for being at the courthouse yesterday. It really helped having you there."

"You're most welcome," Kim smiles back to her as they exit their embrace. "I knew that it was going to be difficult with you having to testify. How is Shane dealing with the fact that you admitted you thought he was guilty?"

Natasha sighs and looks over at Robbie and then back at Kim. "I don't think he's happy. He ignored me after the trial yesterday. I decided to give him some time with Jacob since he was in jail for so long. I'm going to head there now but I wanted to see you first."

"Well, you've seen me!" Kim chuckles. "Go save your marriage, we'll chat soon."

"Okay, talk to you guys later," Natasha says to her friend and her brother before she turns around and leaves.

"I'll say it again," Robbie says as he looks at Kim. "You look like you're enjoying this."

"Being the matriarch?" she replies to him with a sly grin on her face. "It will be better when your father gets home."

"Yea, I bet it gets lonely here without him," he tells her as he moves closer to her. "If you ever need anything, you know I can return the favor of being supportive, right?"

She nods back to him as their eyes lock. "Yea, I know."

"Good," he says to her as he moves closer to her. "Cause, I mean, anything you need, anything at all, I'm here." He moves closer and gives her a quick kiss on the lips. He looks at her as their lips part and she awkwardly smiles back to him, not sure why he is suddenly coming on to her, but in the back of her mind she recalls how Bob told her she has a free pass if she needs it, and looking at the man in front of her, she can't help but think he's attractive.

She licks her lips. "I'll keep that in mind."

Scene Six - Robertson Enterprises; Tyler's Office

Tyler sits at his desk working on the facial cream that Robertson Enterprises wants to release. As he reviews the information on the computer screen in front of him, he realizes that something is missing. They've started their trials but the key thing that is missing is the ingredient to help prevent wrinkles. He knows, however, that if they want to have a anti-wrinkle cream, they have to figure out what the missing ingredient is.

He starts to type an email response back to the chemist to ask her about the ingredient when he hears his phone buzz. He picks up his cell phone and sees an incoming text from Trenyce that reads, "Wanna get together later? I could meet you at your place."

Tyler smiles at the thought of having another hot encounter with Trenyce but he also wonders about what his relationship with Kim is standing; the last time he saw her, she had just learned that Bob was faking his amnesia and she was going to confront him over his lies. She told Tyler that she would call him if she needed anything but he hasn't heard from her.

He sends Kim a text message, "Hey, just thinking of you. Hope everything is okay?"

He returns his focus to his email back to the chemist. He hears his phone buzz again and he sees a text from Kim coming in. "Everything's good. Sorry, meant to call you, been busy with the Calimo's while Bob's away at rehab. You can have Blake this wknd if you like."

Tyler signs and realizes that Kim is staying with Bob. She would have said something if she had ended her marriage. He picks up his phone and replies to Trenyce, "Yea, sounds good. You know where the spare key is. Looking forward to it ;)"

Scene Seven - Tyler's Townhouse

Trenyce sits in her car outside of Tyler's townhouse waiting for him to reply. She is hoping that he will say 'yes' to her invitation of them spending the night together. While she knows that they are just friends with benefits, she is finding herself enjoying their time together more and more. She smiles when she reads Tyler's response and she quickly gets out of the car.

She moves up to the front door and finds the spare key that is hidden under a plant pot and she unlocks the door. She moves inside and realizes that no one is currently home, which is good because she doesn't want to be alone with Felicia. Since her and Tyler are not dating, she doesn't want to have the awkward conversation. She looks at her watch and realizes that she probably has awhile before Tyler will get home.

"Maybe I will have a hot bath," she whispers to herself as she looks over by the TV and sees an IPod. "Oh, I must have left that here when I was here last time," she says walking over and looking at the IPod, unaware that it is Felicia's IPod.

Scene Eight - The Glubbs House; Shane, Natasha & Jacob's Home

Natasha uses her key to unlock the front door of the house that she was sharing with Shane for the last few years. She knows that she hasn't been staying there for some time but she hopes now that Shane is out of jail, they will be able to put their marriage back together, despite her saying she thought he was guilty when she was called to the testify at his trial. After everything they've been through, it's time to move on and put their marriage back together. She opens the door and moves in to the foyer.

"Shane, are you home?" she calls out, as she can hear Jacob playing in the living room. She walks into the living room and sees Shane playing with Jacob, which immediately brings a smile to her face. "Well, this is a nice sight."

Shane looks up from playing with Jacob and sees his wife. He has no idea why she is back in their house now, not after what she said in court. He can't believe that she wouldn't believe in him when he needed her the most. He stands up to look her in the eye. "What are you doing here?" he asks her.

"I wanted to come and see you," she tells him. "I was hoping…"

"I don't care what you were hoping," he cuts her off. "I don't want to be around you. Not after everything you've done."

"But Shane, I want to make our marriage work. Please, just hear me out."

"Our marriage?" he asks her with half a chuckle. "What a joke that is. Get out of my house, Natasha. I don't want to see you right now. And I don't know if I will ever be ready to see you again."

Next on One Day at a Time
