Scene One - The Calimo Mansion

The living room of the Calimo mansion is still full of guests, whom are enjoying the benefit gala that Andy threw in honour of Reese. Natasha grabs another glass of champagne and looks around the crowded room trying to find Shane. They had arrived together and she asked him if they could go to the cabin after the party in hopes of reconnecting and saving their marriage. He took a phone call from the babysitter, who is with Jacob, and she hasn't seen him since.

"Where did you go, Shane?" she asks herself as she takes another sip of her champagne. Suddenly, she spots her husband across the room so she quickly walks over to him. "There you are. Is everything okay with Jacob?"

Shane sighs heavily as he looks back at his wife, his mind racing from seeing Natasha with Adam after he got off his phone call. He knows that he wants to make their marriage work but he feels like she has been playing him for a fool. How could she expect him to forgive the past when she continues to throw the affair in his face, especially at a party where the entire town is present.

"Jacob is fine," he finally replies back to her, not getting into anything else.

"You were gone a long time, I was starting to get worried."

"I'm sure you were able to find something to occupy your time," he continues to be cold with her. "Or someone."

"What does that mean?" Natasha asks him, unsure by his tone. "Why are you being so distant?"

"Do you really have to ask Natasha? I saw you, okay? I saw you with Adam!" he tells her, trying not to raise his voice to create a scene at the busy party.

Natasha gulps a little. "Look, I get why you're upset but it's not what you think. I saw Adam and I went to say hello, that's all."

"That's all, huh?" he asks her, still fuming. "Is that why I saw you holding his hand? I'm so tired of being played for a fool!"

Natasha grabs Shane's hand. "Look at me, Shane," she tells him as he locks eyes on hers. Behind Natasha, Dawn slowly approaches them, not meaning to eavesdrop but she finds herself unable to move out of ears way. "Adam told me that Helen mentioned the possibility of a divorce. I was simply telling him to fight for his marriage, the way you and I are fighting for ours. You have to believe me."

"Do I have to believe you? After all the lies you've told Natasha, how do I know this isn't just another one of them?" Shane asks her as he takes his hand out of her embrace.

Natasha feels her eyes swell with water. "Because I love you, Shane. And I'm trying so hard to make our marriage work. I know I screwed everything up, okay? I know that. I get that. I know that we have a long ways to go to get back to where we were, but I still believe we can do this. We can do this together. How about we wrap things up here and head to the cabin? We can talk and unwind and get away from everything."

Shane looks back at her as a tear falls down her face. He puts his hand over and wipes it off her cheek. "Don't cry, Natasha," he tells her, seeing the woman that he fell in love with so many years ago. "Let's leave after Andy's speech. We should at least hear him out, right?"

Natasha nods back to him. "Thank you for agreeing to go away with me. I think it will help us."

Dawn quickly walks away from the two of them, desperate to find Paige. Dawn knows that if her friend's going to make her move on Shane, it has to be now. Before Natasha can sink her claws back into him.

"Robbie, I'm so glad that you came," Bob announces to his son as Robbie turns around and sees his father. Robbie is pleasantly surprised by how good Bob looks since he is still recovering from his stroke. Robbie also knows that he has to be pleasant with his father because Bob's memory hasn't fully returned yet. Robbie would like nothing more than to stick it to his father for his role in Leah's death but he won't because he doesn't want to delay his father's recovery.

"It is for a good cause, so I'm glad I could be here. You're looking stronger than the last time I saw you," Robbie tells him.

"I owe a lot of that to Kimberly," Bob replies to him. "My wife has been a Godsend since my stroke."

Robbie arches his eyebrow, surprised to hear that Kim has been so supportive considering everything Bob put her through lately. "I'm glad to hear that," Robbie tells him.

Before Bob can say anything else, he sees Dominick and Tyler enter the party. Bob fumes at the sight of Dominick. "Who the hell invited Dominick Robertson to this party?"

Robbie puts his hand on Bob's shoulder. "Calm down Dad, you shouldn't get so worked up. Just remember that Reese did work for Robertson Enterprises for a while. I'm sure Andy extended the invite because of that."

Bob nods his head back to him. "Of course, you're right. It doesn't mean that I have to like it though. Excuse me son, I'm going to get with Rosario to see if she has everything under control in the kitchen."

Robbie watches his father walk away quickly, then he looks over at Dominick. The two men make eye contact with one another quickly, but Robbie realizes that this party is not the time to discuss their plan to get revenge on Bob. But, they will have to have that discussion very soon.

"This party looks like it has a great turn out," Tyler tells Dominick as they grab some cocktails from a passing waiter.

"It's a shame that you didn't get to know Reese better," Dominick replies to his son. "He was a very smart young man."

Tyler nods back to him. "It's still so tragic that he died so young. I'm glad to see Andy is doing so much better now."

"That he is," Dominick says back to him.

"Look Dad," Tyler begins to tell him as he takes a sip of his vodka beverage. "I've been thinking a lot about how to get Robertson Enterprises back on top and I think I've come up with something brilliant," he says as he Dominick arches his eyebrow. "What if we developed a new anti-aging skin cream for women? It seems like its one product that is missing from our resume but one that would be a huge addition."

Dominick takes a sip of his drink and looks back to his son. "I think that's genius. Let's talk more about that tomorrow in the office, shall we? I don't want to wait on an idea like this because if Bob and Roboto find out, they could beat us to the punch."

"What the hell are you two doing here?" Kim asks them, as she approaches them and interrupts their conversation. "You do know that Bob is here, don't you?"

"We know that," Tyler replies to her. He looks at her for the first time in weeks and realizes that she is looking good.

"As a matter of fact, your brother invited us," Dominick informs Kim.

Kim shakes her head. "Just promise me you won't cause any trouble? Bob is making good progress since the stroke, he doesn't need to have a setback of any kind."

"Don't worry, Kim," Tyler tells her. "We aren't here to cause any problems. Now, if you'll excuse me, I see my Mom. I'd like to go and say hi."

Tyler walks away from the woman who has his heart and over to Felicia, who is looking around the room in amazement of how beautiful the setting is. "Mom, good evening," Tyler says as he arrives and gives her a quick hug. "You look lovely tonight."

"And you look most handsome in that tuxedo, dear," Felicia replies to him. "This place looks amazing."

"Doesn't it? Andy really went all out for this party," Tyler tells her. "I've been meaning to talk to you about the divorce papers. Have you made up your mind about what you're going to do?"

Felicia grabs a glass of champagne as a waiter walks by and looks back at her son. "I have," she tells him before she takes a drink of her bubbles. She had confided in her son about the thought of signing the divorce papers and to her surprise, he encouraged her to do so.

"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" he asks her, not wanting to be kept in the dark.

Felicia looks back at Dominick and then over at her son. "I've done what I think is for the best," she reveals to him. "If your father wants to be a free man, then he should be a free man."

Tyler grabs Felicia's hand. "Oh Mom," he whispers to her. "I'm proud of you. I'm very proud of you."

Felicia shakes her head a little, not wanting to start to cry. "Thank you. Enough of that talk! Let's enjoy this beautiful party."

"I was hoping I'd run into you at this party," Dominick says as he comes up to Eva. Dominick watches as Eva turns around and looks back at him, with a smile on her face. "You look absolutely stunning tonight."

Eva feels her cheeks blush a little bit. "You've always been a charmer," she replies to him. "But I am glad that I ran into you as well. I've been meaning to talk to you about something."

"It sounds serious," Dominick tells her back.

Eva looks back at him and wonders if now is the best time to bring up what she wants to talk to him about: the fact that Frederick has been feeding lies into Felicia's mind during their hypnosis sessions. He's the reason that Felicia claimed that she didn't love Dominick anymore; he's the reason that Felicia has been so confused about her feelings. Eva also knows that Frederick asked her not to say anything because it could be the chance for both of them to get what they want: Dominick and Felicia. The more Eva has thought about it, however, the more she knows that she couldn't possibly keep this a secret.

"I think it is," Eva replies to him. "Let's go over by the fireplace where we can have some privacy."

The walk over to the roaring fireplace and look at each other again. Eva can feel her heart racing inside her chest as she looks at the man she loves. She wishes it didn't have to come to this.

"I actually have some news of my own," Dominick tells her, not allowing her to re-start the conversation.

"You do?" she asks him.

He nods and grabs her hand. "Felicia has signed the divorce papers, Eva. All I have to do is file them and I will be a free man."

Eva's eyes open wider in surprise. For so long, these are the words that she had longed to hear. Now that she has heard them, it feels surreal like she's in a dream. "I…I don't know what to say."

"There's nothing to say," he tells her. "Just know that I will be a free man very soon. And you know what that means, don't you?" he ask her as she shakes her head no. "It means that we can finally be together. Just what you've always wanted."

Eva bites her lower lip as Dominick pulls her into a hug. "Isn't this cause for celebration?" he whispers into her ear as they hug.

"Yea," she finally says back to him, feeling more torn than ever before. "This is great news."

"I know that you're probably not wanting to see me this evening," Victoria tells Robbie as she finds him snacking on some caviar. "But I had to see you."

Robbie looks over at his former lover and can't help but notice how good she looks in her short black dress. "I don't mind you coming and saying hello," he tells her. "I never want you to think that I don't care for you."

"That's nice to hear," Victoria says back to him as she moves some hair behind her ear. "Because, I still care for you. Very much, Robbie. And I know what I did was wrong but I was hoping that we could finally put all of that behind us and move forward."

"Move forward?" he asks her before he takes another sip of his gin and tonic. "Do you realize that I was forced to move out of the house that I spent so many years in?"

"You weren't married to Leah when she died, Robbie. Jeff deserves to be in that house."

"And you made sure that he is in that house, didn't you?" he snaps back at her. "Look, Victoria, I don't want to rehash all of this with you. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but just know that there's no way that I can forgive you for what you did. You took away everything I had left of Leah."

Victoria is about to reply but Robbie cuts her off. "I don't want to hear any more apologies. How's that for moving forward?"

***

"There you are," Adam says as he finds Helen. "I was hoping we could finish our conversation from earlier."

Helen looks back at her husband and nods. "Wasn't that lovely seeing Dawn and her being civil?"

"It was certainly a nice change of pace," Adam agrees with her. "That's why I was thinking that if she could learn to forgive me for my mistakes, maybe we could do the same? Maybe it's not too late to save our marriage, Helen."

Helen looks back at him and takes a drink of her champagne. She knows that Barbara is the one who first suggested the idea of divorce to her. At first, she was taken aback but the more she thought about it, the more she warmed to the idea. That, of course, was before this evening when she and Adam are actually making inroads with one another.

"It's not going to be easy to fix this Adam," Helen informs him. "You hurt me desperately with your affair with Natasha."

"I know that," he agrees with her.

"And, there's my Mother. She really wants this divorce to happen."

"Wait," Adam stops her realizing that Barb is the one who is pushing the divorce. "Was this divorce your idea? Or was it Barb's?"

Helen gulps back to him. "My Mom first mentioned it to me and I just kept going with it because it didn't seem like anything was getting better between us."

"I can't believe this," Adam admits to her. "I feel like I can't catch a break with your parents. First your Dad hated me and now your Mom wants us to end our marriage. When this end?"

"The decision will always be mine to make," Helen tells him. "And you have to admit, things haven't been getting better between us."

"We haven't even really been trying to make it work," Adam snaps back to her. "So, what's it going to be Helen? Are you going to us a real try? Or are you going to listen to your Mom and file for divorce?"

***

Dawn looks around the room trying to find Paige. She recalls hearing Natasha and Shane talking about going to the cabin but Dawn knows that this is Paige's chance to make something happen with Shane. Dawn looks across the room and sees Natasha laughing with Shane. The sight of the woman who could be breaking up her parent's marriage makes Dawn's blood boil. She knows that she is pushing Paige closer to Shane to get some kind of revenge on Natasha; she just hopes that it's not too late and that Paige will go after Shane. It would be the sweetest way to get back at Natasha, Dawn realizes.

Suddenly, Dawn spots Paige coming back into the main living room. She walks quickly across the room and makes eye contact with her friend.

"What's the rush with you?" Paige asks her confused as to why Dawn is walking up to her with urgency.

"I have to talk to you, it's important," Dawn replies to her, as she grabs her friend's arm and pulls back into the foyer.

"Okay, well we are completely alone now, what's going on? You're making me nervous," Paige admits to her.

"There's nothing to be nervous about," Dawn tells her. "I overheard something and you need to know. This is about you and Shane. Do you still want to pursue him?"

Paige gulps. "I mean," she says back to her. "I like him, yea. I don't know if I should be pursuing a married man but I do like him."

"He's going to the cabin after the party," Dawn reveals to her. "I think you should meet him there. You two would be all alone and… who knows what could happen."

"Wait, that doesn't make any sense," Paige tells her. "Why would he go there alone? Wouldn't Natasha be with him?"

Dawn gets a devilish grin on her face. "Leave that to me. I'll make sure Natasha is delayed, okay? What do you say? You wanna make something happen with the hot doctor?"

Paige nervously smiles back to her before nodding. Dawn laughs and pulls her friend into a hug. "This is going to be amazing," Dawn tells Paige. "You won't regret this!"
