Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I don't know why it is taking so long," Rebecca tells Cory as they are in a hospital room waiting for the pregnancy test results. A part of Rebecca is scared to death about what the results will show because she doesn't actually believe that she is pregnant. However, Melissa has been telling her that she has everything under control so she is trying to stay calm about this. So, she is trying to be positive about the situation.

Cory sighs and recalls how Robin showed up at the hospital the day of the test. He knows that he has devastated his wife by having an affair with her sister; he wishes he could take it back but he knows that he can never do that. He just hopes that there isn't a baby involved because that would really be the final straw for Robin.

"Do you want to sit down?" he asks her, knowing that if she is pregnant, she shouldn't get too stressed out.

"Nah, I'm okay, thank you," she replies to him. "Thanks for being here with me."

"I need to know the truth just as much as you do," he tells her. "I couldn't be anywhere else today."

"Have you thought about what this means if I am pregnant?" she asks him as she looks into his eyes.

Cory shakes his head and turns away from Rebecca. "All I know is that it would devastate Robin terribly. A baby would be a miracle but I don't want to hurt my wife anymore than I already have."

She comes up behind him and puts her hand on his shoulder. "It would be a miracle," she whispers back to him.

"My only concern is Robin," he replies to her, ignoring her gesture to reach out to him. "She just got out of a mental hospital, I don't want her to have a relapse."

"You don't think that could happen, do you?" she asks him, suddenly growing concerned about Robin.

Cory turns around to face her but before he can say anything else to her, the door opens and Victoria enters the room holding Rebecca's file.

"Victoria," Cory says to her. "Do you have the results?"

"I do," Victoria replies back to them. "I have the pregnancy results in this folder."

Scene Two - The Sugarbowl

"I was surprised to get your call, if I am honest with you," Donovan tells Lukas as they sit in the back booth across from each other.

Lukas takes a sip of his mocha and looks back into his former lover's eyes. Lukas knows that he always got lost in Donovan's eyes; it's one of his most attractive features. "I've seen Craig one and one a lot more than I've seen you. I haven't really seen much of you since the elevator last summer."

"I know," Donovan agrees with him. "I've been trying to give you your space so you can decide on what you'd like to do."

"I still have no idea," Lukas admits to him. "I know I've said it before but I feel like I don't have the right to choose."

"You know what I think?" Donovan asks him back as Lukas arches his eyebrow. "I think that nothing in your life will change until you are truthful with everyone."

"You're talking about my father, aren't you?"

"I think he should know who you are," Donovan tells him. "You have enough of a support system in your life Lukas that, even if he wasn't accepting, you will be loved. You have Meggan, you have Craig and you have me."

Lukas puts his head down for a moment. "Do you really mean that?"

"Of course I do," Donovan continues to tell him. "I will always care about you Lukas. After everything we went through in Europe, there's no way that I could not care about you."

Lukas looks up and grabs Donovan's hand. "You know I still love you, right?"

Donovan smiles and nods back to him. "Of course I know that."

Scene Three - The Tower's, Floor One; Andy's Condo

"I appreciate your help with these plans for the benefit," Andy tells Craig as they sit at Andy's table and are going over some of details of the benefit that Andy is planning for Reese.

"Of course, I was happy to help," Craig replies to him.

"Between you and I going over these details and my sister helping with the flowers, I think we will get this thing planned," Andy informs him. "I thought of you because you helped plan the hospital gala a couple of years ago."

"This seems far more personal than the hospital gala," Craig tells his friend. "What made you decide to throw a fundraiser for cancer in honor of Reese?"

Andy gulps for a moment before he looks back at Craig. "It was Lukas' idea, actually."

"Really?" Craig asks in surprise. "I didn't think that this would be something Lukas would think of."

Andy chuckles a little. "I think he's mellowed the last few months. I don't sense that he's the same spoiled kid he was when he arrived in town."

Craig quickly reflects on his relationship with Lukas and wonders if Andy could be right. "I didn't realize you two had become so close."

"We are forming a friendship, yes," Andy informs him. "He's a good guy. I think he just needs positive people in his life. And before you ask, I do know about his decision that he has to make between you and Donovan."

Craig locks eyes with Andy. "Has he said anything to you at all about that?"

Andy shrugs. "Nothing concrete, no," Andy admits to his friend. "But if I can give you a piece of advice, go easy on him. He's going through a lot and I think the bigger picture is with his Dad."

Craig nods back to him. "That makes sense. I'm just growing impatient."

"Just give him a little more time," Andy tells Craig. "He'll get there, I am sure of it."

Scene Four - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home

"I can't believe you just said that to me," Helen tells Barbara as she pours herself a cup of tea and looks back at her mother.

Barbara puts her hand on her hip and looks back at her daughter. "I'm clearly stating the obvious. Adam doesn't live here right now, you're not happy with him because of his cheating ways. Ending your marriage seems like the logical next step."

"I thought that Catholics didn't believe in divorce?" Helen asks her mother.

"Under normal circumstances but your husband broke any vow he made to you when he slept with Natasha Calimo behind your back," Barbara reminds her, as Helen takes a sip of her tea.

"You do not have to remind me," Helen says back to her.

Before Barbara can say anything else, the doorbell rings and Helen looks at her mother. "I'll get it," she says moving past Barbara. Helen opens the door and is surprised to see Adam standing there. "Adam," she says in surprise.

"It's weird for me too, ringing the doorbell to my own house," he says back to her. "Can I come in for a minute?"

"Sure," Helen tells him as he moves inside. "What's going on?"

"I spoke to Dawn on the telephone," Adam reveals to her. "And I wanted to tell you how it went."

"How is she?" Helen asks him. "I've tried to call her but she isn't returning my calls."

"I didn't think she'd pick up, if I am honest with you," Adam tells her. "I tried to convince her to come home. I told her that it would be the first step in our family healing."

Helen moves a piece of her long bangs out of her eyes. "What did she say? Is she coming home?"

Adam shakes his head. "She said no and asked me not to call her again."

Helen sighs. "I was worried she'd say something like that."

"At least she picked up the phone, baby steps?" Adam asks her with a sly grin on his face.

"You're optimistic," she smiles back to him.

"How have you been?" he finds himself asking her.

"I'm … okay," she replies to him, not wanting to fight with him. "How have you been?"

"Not so bad," he tells her. "I happened to see you out the other day."

"Really? I don't remember you coming to say hi to me?"

"Because I didn't," Adam reveals to her. "You were with Chris Michaels. It looks like you were having a good time."

Helen suddenly realizes why Adam is mentioning this to her: he's jealous. "Chris has been a good friend to me," she quickly tells him, her tone getting defensive.

"I wasn't suggesting anything," Adam starts to plead.

"Really? I'm not the cheater in this relationship Adam," Helen snaps at him, not liking what he is suggesting. "I think it's time you go. Thank you for telling me about Dawn."

Adam turns and leaves and wonders if anything will help rebuild his relationship with Helen now or his family for that matter.

Scene Five - The Glubbs House; Shane & Natasha's Home

"I can't believe I had to find out that you're being investigated by reading the Sun," Natasha tells Shane as they stand in the living room. Natasha had read an article about the pending hospital investigation with how Shane discovered that Natasha was pregnant. Usually hospital news wouldn't make the paper but when the investigation happens to the Chief of Staff, it makes a headline. Natasha wishes that he would have told her himself.

"I'm sorry," Shane tries to tell her. "It's not like we have been on the best of terms lately. I didn't think you'd care, if I am honest."

"Of course I care!" Natasha protests to him. "You're my husband, Shane. Even though you sent me divorce papers, I still love you. I don't want this to happen to you."

"Thanks," he manages to say back to her. "I'm not sure how it will turn out. Victoria seems to think that I may get suspended."

Natasha looks him in the eyes before she grabs his hand. "I hope you know, no matter what happens, I am here to support you Shane. You don't have to go through this alone."

Shane smiles back to her. "I really appreciate that, Nat. Thank you, again."

"Of course," Natasha replies to him before looking back at her husband. "I've been thinking."

"About what?"

"Us and our marriage," she reveals to him. "I still love you Shane and I don't want to get a divorce."

"Nat…" he begins to say back to her.

"Just hear me out, okay?" Natasha replies to him. "I'm not saying it will be easy but maybe if we get away for awhile we can be alone together and talk and try to rebuild the trust and our marriage."

"I can't get away right now because of the investigation," he tells her.

"It doesn't have to be far, we could go to the Calimo cabin. Just a short ways away. Don't answer me now, but think about it, okay?" she tells him as she purses her lips together.

Scene Six - The Cemetery

Robin drops some roses down on Leah's gravesite and then looks at the tombstone with her sister's name engraved on it as the grey skies above threaten rain or snow.

"Sorry I haven't been around much," she says outloud to Leah. "I was getting better after my breakdown after my baby died. I hate that I was in the hospital when you …" she bites her lip before she says that Leah is dead. "I miss you so much. I feel like I need you."

A tear falls down Robin's cheek as she thinks about the possibility that Cory got Rebecca pregnant. She can't believe that Cory slept with her sister of all women. She wishes that Leah was around because Leah always gave her the best advice when things were going wrong in her life. Leah would know the right thing to say to her to make feel better about the situation.

"This thing with Cory and Rebecca," Robin continues to tell her sister. "I have no idea what to do. If Rebecca is pregnant, our relationship will never be the same. And if she's not, well, Cory still slept with my sister. My marriage will never be the same."

Robin moves her hand to the tombstone. "I love you so much Leah. I miss you every day. I hope wherever you are, you're okay and that you're happy. Please, just send me the strength to get through this."

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Please, don't keep us waiting," Rebecca says back to Victoria as she awaits the news of the pregnancy test.

Victoria opens the folder and reads the notes before she looks back at Cory and Rebecca. "You are pregnant, Rebecca. The test shows you are carrying a child and are about four months along."

Cory's mouth opens in shock. "There has to be some kind of mistake," he manages to say.

"No," Victoria replies to him. "Our tests are 99.9% positive."

"But, I'm not showing. I had no signs," Rebecca tells her, as she is surprised as well.

"Sometimes the body works in mysterious ways. You were still lightly spotting, which can be normal in the first few months of pregnancy. And not showing isn't a sign of pregnancy, sometimes women won't show until 5 or 6 months along. I'll leave you two alone now but I'm around if you have any other questions," Victoria tells them before she leaves the room.

Cory and Rebecca look at each other in a moment of silence. Finally, Rebecca says something to Cory. "What now?"
