Previously on One Day at a Time
- Savannah and Andy drove to the Calimo cabin in a summer storm as Savannah was going to meet Kim, Donovan and Trenyce to hold an intervention with Andy to deal with his drinking. Savannah was shocked to see Andy have a stash of booze in his bag. Donovan, meanwhile, got stuck in an elevator with Lukas; Trenyce had to go to a dinner party at Daisy's and when Kim dropped off Blake with Tyler, they shared a kiss
- Daisy planned a dinner party to try to uncover the truth about Jemma and Frederick's past
- Dominick showed Bob a photo of Kim and Tyler kissing in hopes of getting revenge on his rival for his role in killing Leah. Bob grabbed Dominick's phone and smashed it against the wall

Scene One - Roboto; Bob's Office

Bob looks at the picture staring him in the face and he feels a mixture of emotion. Part anger for seeing Kim kissing Tyler, part humiliation that Dominick is showing him the picture, and part utter disgust. Bob grabs the phone from Dominick's hand and looks at it closer. Without question, he realizes that the photo is real. Kim and Tyler were kissing; does this mean Kim has gone to Tyler and they will be a family with Blake? Bob shakes his head before he looks back at Dominick and grits his teeth.

"You want to know what I think about this?" Bob asks through his gritted teeth. He throws the Iphone up against the wall and the glass shatters causing Dominick to start laughing.

"How does it feel Bob? How does it feel knowing that every single part of your life is falling apart? And guess what? This is just the beginning…"

"I don't want to hear any more of your bullshit," Bob yells at his rival. "I want you OUT of my office now before I call security."

Another bolt of lightning streaks across the sky illuminating Bob's office before another loud boom of thunder can be heard as the summer storm continues to rage on outside.

Dominick looks at Bob, whose face starts to turn red from being so upset by seeing Kim and Tyler kiss. Dominick is loving what he is seeing; finally he is getting some kind of revenge on Bob for his role in Leah's death. Dominick has longed for this moment; for this day to come. He wants to relish it for as long as he possibly can.

"You think you can get rid of me that easily?" Dominick asks him. "I'm not done telling you everything that I have to tell you."

Bob moves to the bar and pours himself another brandy and he quickly drinks it down. He pours himself another as he recalls Dominick telling him that Sofia and Kim both turned to Robertson men when Bob couldn't satisfy them any longer. While he's trying to tell himself that it's not true, he can't help but realize that it is true. Sofia turned to Dominick and now Kim has turned to Tyler. Bob feels the brandy move down his throat quickly.

"It's not only me that has wanted revenge on you," Dominick taunts his rival. "Your own flesh and blood also wants revenge on you."

"My flesh and blood?" Bob asks him. "What the hell are you talking about now?"

Dominick's eyes light up. "Robbie," Dominick reveals to him. "Your son has been helping me plan revenge on you."

Scene Two - The Calimo Cabin

Savannah watches as Andy pours himself another whiskey as another loud crackle of thunder can be heard throughout the Calimo cabin. She hates that he showed up with two bottles of whiskey in what is supposed to be an intervention for him. She quickly glances at her watch and wonders where Donovan, Trenyce and Kim are; they are supposed to be there with her to have the intervention with Andy. As lightning flashes across the sky again, she realizes that maybe they can't drive because of the heavy storm.

"I hope they get here soon," she whispers to herself. "I don't know how much more of this I can take by myself."

"Did you say something?" Andy asks her, as he slurs his words a little.

Savannah shakes her head and moves closer to the fireplace. "I was just saying that the storm is pretty intense out there."

"Right?" Andy replies to her as he takes a sip of his whiskey. "Although, I do love a good rain storm."

Savannah watches as he moves to make another drink. "Do you need another drink so soon? Maybe we can pause for a bit and talk…"

Andy doesn't listen to her and he pours himself another whiskey. "We can talk while I have another drink, Savannah. Like I told you, I don't have a drinking problem. It's just….It helps take the edge off, that's all."

"I know that's what you said," she tells him he moves closer to her and the fireplace.

"But, you don't believe me?" he asks, his voice slightly raised. "God, I'm so tired of this."

"We all are," Savannah replies to him. "We just want you to be okay and normal again."

"Normal?" he asks her. "How the hell do you expect me to be normal when my husband is dead? Answer me that, Savannah!"

Scene Three - The Victors Mansion; Vinny & Daisy's Home

Daisy looks in the large living room as the guests of her dinner party start to arrive, despite the heavy rain storm outside. She can hear another boom of thunder and she moves closer to the fireplace. Vinny comes up next to her and passes her a glass of red wine.

"Are you ready for this? I think Frederick just arrived," Vinny tells her as she takes a sip of wine.

"I'm ready for this," Daisy replies to him, hoping that her party is a success and she can learn the truth about her Aunt's past. "It's time we get to the truth about Frederick and Jemma's past."

Meggan grabs a glass of sparkling water and looks across the room at Jeff. She didn't realize that Daisy and Vinny were going to invite him but it does make sense to her. After all, she hasn't exactly been quiet about the fact that she and Jeff had started to see each other. Only, she doesn't know if they are still seeing each other because Jeff continues to push her away. First it happened on the anniversary of Noah's death, then it happened again on the anniversary of Leah's death. Meggan understands that Jeff has gone through a lot of heartache but she wishes that he would lean on her instead of pushing her away.

"Penny for your thoughts," Jeff says to her as he comes up to his some-time lover.

Meggan turns to face him and then takes a sip of her sparkling water. "I suppose I'm surprised to see you here. I didn't think Daisy would have invited you."

Jeff nods back to her. "She knew that you and I had been seeing each other," he reveals to her. "She thought it would be nice since your family will be here."

"Do you remember our last conversation?" she asks him, trying to cut to the chase with him. She knows that she told him that she may not be around the next time he wanted a companion.

"It's all I've been thinking about," he admits to her. "And, for the record, you were completely right to react the way you did. I can't keep pushing you away when I have a bad day or I am thinking about Noah or Leah."

"But you keep doing it," Meggan relies to him quickly. "And I'm not going to be the yoyo in your life, Jeff."

Jeff grabs her free hand and squeezes it. "I know that and I'm sorry," he says as he looks into her eyes. "I guess I'm hoping that you'll give me one more chance?"

"I think everyone is here," Daisy says to Vinny as they see Frederick enter the room. "I'm going to welcome everyone to the party. Excuse me for a moment."

"Of course, this is your time to shine," Vinny smiles at her as Daisy moves into the middle of the room.

"If I could have everyone's attention," Daisy announces to the room full of guests. "I'd like to welcome you to our home and thank you all so much for coming. Dinner should be ready in a little while, but in the meantime, please mingle, drink and have some h'orderves. But, please don't spoil your appetite!"

Frederick and Jemma make eye contact from across the room as Frederick moves up to Daisy. "I'd like to thank you for having my family over this evening," Frederick says as they share a quick hug. "This is most generous of you."

Daisy smiles back to him as she looks over at Jemma, who quickly grabs another glass of wine. "It's my pleasure. I thought this would be nice after you gave the City that very generous donation a few weeks ago."

Frederick chuckles a little. "Well, I should donate more often if this is the reward."

***

"How is your evening going so far Aunt Jemma?" Trenyce asks her Aunt as she approaches her. Trenyce hadn't noticed Jemma eyeing Frederick since he arrived at the mansion. Another loud crackle of thunder can be heard from inside the mansion.

"That rain is really comin' down out there," Jemma says to her. "I ain't see a storm like this since I was livin' in the south. We used to get some crazy storms."

"I know," Trenyce admits to her. "I'm supposed to drive to the Calimo cabin after dinner but I don't know if I can make it with this weather."

"I'd say not," Jemma tells her. "Your safety had best be comin' first, young lady."

Trenyce can't help but smile and move into give her Aunt a hug. "I love you Aunt Jemma."

"I love you too child," Jemma replies to her as her eyes move over to Frederick again.

"I know Daisy said that everyone was here but I don't see Lukas," Meggan tells her father as they stand beside each other. "Did he tell you that he was coming?"

Frederick nods back to his daughter before he pulls his phone out of his pocket. "I don't have any missed calls from him or text messages either."

"Well Dad, you know, he's not always the most tardy person in the world," Meggan reminds him, knowing that Lukas tends to do things on his own terms.

"That's true," Frederick admits to her. "I just hope in this storm, he is safe. I know driving here was pretty scary."

Suddenly Meggan gulps, hoping that her brother is okay too. "Yea, I'm sure he's fine. I mean, we would have heard something by now if something had happened to him."

"You're right," Frederick replies to her. "But, if you excuse me, I think I'll go to the other room and call the hospital just in case."

Meggan watches as her Dad leaves the room, suddenly hoping that her brother is safe and sound as she can hear more thunder boom in the sky outside.

From across the room, Jemma spots Frederick leaving the living room. She looks around and doesn't see anyone watching her so she quickly sneaks out of the room, following Frederick.

"Thank you for the update, I really appreciate that," Frederick says into the telephone as the enters the study. He waits for the voice on the other side to finish talking and then he hangs up the phone. He breathes a sigh of relief, knowing that Lukas hasn't been taken to the hospital, so he's not in a car accident from the storm.

A bolt of lightning flashes across the sky as he turns around and sees Jemma standing in the doorway of the study.

"Surprised to see me?" she asks him as she moves closer to him.

"Jemma?" he gasps, thinking the woman he saw in the living room couldn't have been Jemma. "It can't be …"

"Believe me, I thought the exact same thing when I first saw you," Jemma whispers to him. "And now, I think it's time we got somethin' straight."

Scene Four - Robertson Enterprises

"I can't believe we are stuck in this elevator," Donovan tells Lukas as they sit on the ground of the elevator. Donovan knows that he is going to be late for Andy's intervention now because of the storm outside. What's worse, is that he is stuck with his ex-boyfriend. The man who stolen his heart all those years ago, and who Donovan never really did get over.

Lukas looks over at him and nods. "I just hope that there is someone in the building working on getting us out of here."

"I know," Donovan agrees with him. "I tried using the phone to call for assistance but it isn't working either."

"I guess we'll just have to wait it out," Lukas tells him as their eyes lock. Lukas looks at Donovan and suddenly starts to remember their past together."

Donovan looks away not wanting to get caught up into Lukas' eyes again. He knows that he was always weak to Lukas looking at him. "How are things with you and Craig?" Donovan finally asks him.

Lukas sighs and knows that Craig is losing his patience with him because he doesn't want to come out to Frederick. In Lukas' mind, though, he doesn't have to be out to have a relationship. He just wants to be himself and move forward with his life.

"I don't know," Lukas admits to him. "Sometimes I think I'm doomed in the relationship department, you know?"

"Is it because of your father?" Donovan asks him, as Lukas nods his head. "You know, Lukas, I think the problem is that no one wants to be with someone when they feel like it has be a secret. You're a great guy and a great boyfriend but all the sneaking around is what gets old."

"What do you think would have happened if we hadn't left Europe?" Lukas asks Donovan, who looks back at Lukas.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you and I. If we were still in Europe, what do you think would have happened?" Lukas asks him.

"I have no idea," Donovan tells him.

"My father moved here because of a patient, so he wouldn't have been an issue," Lukas tells Donovan. "So, I think we would still be together. I think we would have had a great life together."

Donovan gulps and looks back at him. "I think that too," Donovan admits to him. "But your father was in Europe at the time. And, you know, I was tired of living the lie."

"I think about us all the time," Lukas admits to him. "Sometimes, I wish we could go back."

Donovan looks back at him. "But, now you're with Craig."

Lukas shrugs his shoulders. "Doesn't mean I can't think of the past," he tells Donovan as Lukas sees Donovan's hand and suddenly feels the urge to grab it. He moves his hand closer to Donovan's and touches it.

Donovan looks at his ex and gulps again. "What are you doing?" he asks him, as their eyes lock again.

Scene Five - The Calimo Cabin

"You got me," Savannah replies to Andy. "I have no idea what you are going through in losing Reese as a husband. But, I do know what it's like to lose a friend because Reese was my best friend. And I feel like I've lost a huge part of my life. So, in some ways, I can relate to you, Andy."

Andy puts his glass to his mouth and takes another drink of the whiskey. "I'm glad that you think you understand me," he whispers back to her. "Now what you have to realize is that we all cope differently with grief. I'm not being irresponsible with my drinking."

"You're not?" she asks him. "What about the time Kim found you passed out in your own vomit? Or the car accident you had with Victoria? I think those are clear signs that you are being very irresponsible with your drinking."

"How dare you say that to me!" Andy yells back at her. "I don't have a drinking problem, Savannah. And, frankly, I'm tired of having this same God damned conversation with you!"

Savannah watches Andy as another loud thunder bolt blasts in the sky. She sighs and runs her hand though her long hair. "I don't know if I can do this," she whispers to herself, hoping that the others arrive at the cabin soon.

Scene Six - Roboto

"You're lying," Bob yells back at Dominick, who just revealed to him that Robbie was helping him plan revenge on Bob. "My son and I aren't in the best of places right now but he would never work with you to help try to bring me down."

Dominick laughs at him. "You are pathetic. Robbie blames you for Leah's death. I blame you for Leah's death. We have been working so closely to bring you to justice for what you did to Leah. So you see, Bob, first it was Sofia and then Kim and now even Robbie have come to the Robertson's for help. You truly do push everyone you care about away."

Bob points his finger and Dominick and starts to say something but he can't get anything to come out of his mouth. He starts to choke a little and his face turns red. Dominick looks back at him and laughs as Bob grabs his chest and looks at Dominick with desperation in his eyes.

Suddenly, Bob falls to the ground as the stroke he is having starts to take over his body. Dominick watches rival start to gasp for breaths before Bob's eyes close. Dominick looks at the body of Bob and bends down to look at him.

"I told you would pay for what you've done to my family," he whispers before he stands up. Another flash of lightning graces the sky as Dominick turns around and walks out of the office, leaving Bob unconscious on the ground of the office.
