Scene One - Raven's Meadow Mental Institution

Cory studies Robin closely as they sit together in her room at the hospital that she is staying at. He recalls how he was looking into the hospital because after the last time he visited Robin, her mood seemed to after she was given her medication. He has realized that, perhaps, it is the medication that she is being given. He decided to come visit his wife today to see if the same thing happened after she got her medication. If it does, he plans on taking action against the doctor and what the drugs that they are giving Robin.

"It is so nice to see you again so soon," Robin smiles to her husband as she moves a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I have missed you while I've been here."

"I hope you know how much I've missed you too," Cory says back to her as he moves closer to her on the sofa and grabs her hand. "But the good news is that your doctor's seem to think that you're getting better. I'm hoping that you won't have to be here for much longer."

Robin looks up at him with a sparkle in her eye. For the first time in a very long time, Cory sees the woman that he fell in love with and married. "Really? I would love that. I can't wait to go home and start living our life together."

"I want that too Robin, more than you can ever know," he says back to her.

Before she can respond to him, the nurse knocks on the door and comes inside. "Sorry to interrupt," she says with a small smile on her face. "But it's time for Robin's medication."

"Already?" Robin asks her, knowing that she often gets tired after her medication and she isn't ready to end her visit with Cory just yet. "It seems like my husband just got here."

"It's okay Robin," Cory tells her. "The doctors are just following your schedule. It's for your best interests." Secretly, he knows that this is the time he has been waiting for; if Robin's mood drastically changes again like the last time, Cory will be convinced that the medication she is on is wrong for her and he can take action against the doctor since he is power of attorney for his wife. He has the ability to make decisions for Robin's wellbeing.

He watches as Robin takes her medication and waits knowing that he will have the answers very soon.

Scene Two - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane's Office

Shane sits at his desk reviewing some files, even though, his mind is on the previous evening. He and Natasha had a dinner with Adam and Helen and it was the first time since Natasha fell down the stairs that he felt like his wife was back to her normal self. She was engaged and funny, the way she always was. He just hopes that this is the start of the beginning for him and his wife again because he knows that she wasn't herself after the accident. Still, if he could learn the truth about what was going on with his wife, he would jump on it. But he is happy that she is seemingly getting back to her former self.

"I just hope she starts to reach out to Jacob again," he whispers to himself. "If she starts to be a mother again she really will be back to normal."

Before he can say anything else to himself, he hears a knock on the door. It opens and Paige emerges at the doorway. She looks at him and smiles for a moment, trying to keep her heart rate under control. "Is this a good time?" she asks him.

"Of course it is," Shane replies to her as she moves into the office. "I was actually going to call you today."

Paige's eyes light up at the thought of Shane calling her. Having a crush is still all so new to her, she can't help but feel a little giddy. Trying to hide the blush from her cheeks, she grins sheepishly back at him. "Oh?"

"Yea, about our talk we had last night at the Pampa Grill," he tells her. "You asked me if I would hire you as my assistant here."

"Right, of course," Paige nods her back to him. "That's why I'm here too, actually. Just seeing if you have made up your mind or not."

"Well, if you're still interested in being my assistant, I think it could work out very well for both of us," Shane tells Paige, who's face lights up with excitement.

"Really?" she gasps in surprise. "Oh, Dr. Glubbs, thank you so much! You won't regret this, I promise you."

Shane chuckles a little at Paige's excitement. "I hope not," he winks back to her. "I'll see you here tomorrow at 9 am, okay?"

Scene Three - The Claus House; Jeff & Felicia's Home

"I haven't seen much of you since you moved back into the house," Meggan tells Jeff as she moves into the living room of the house that Jeff won back from Robbie in court. Meggan knows that this is what Jeff wanted: to be living in the house that he shared with Leah but a part of her has to admit that she does miss him living across the hall from her in her family's house.

"Yea, sorry," Jeff replies to her quickly. "Things have been rather busy around here lately."

"I miss you around the house," Meggan admits to him as she turns and looks into her eyes. "I guess I was used to you always being around."

Jeff turns away from her and closes his eyes. He knows that he and Meggan have been back and forth a few times regarding their relationship and they have agreed to move slowly. That was, before the other day. Since the anniversary of Leah's death, he hasn't been able to think that maybe being involved with Meggan is a mistake. What would Leah say to the fact that he has already moved on? The last thing he wants to do is upset the memory of his wife.

"I guess by your silence that you don't feel the same way?" she asks him as she moves closer behind him. She puts her hand on his shoulder and she can feel him shudder a little causing her to recoil her hand from his body. She shuts her eyes and realizes what's going on. "Oh, I understand now. This is about the anniversary of Leah's death, isn't it? Once again there's a milestone of something tragic in your life and you're being cold to me."

"It's not like that," Jeff whispers back to her before he turns around to face her. "It's just…"

"You loved Leah, I get that Jeff," she says back to him. "This just seems to be a habit every time you have a rough period in your life, I end up getting shut out by it."

Jeff sighs and looks back at her. "I think you should go," he tells her, causing her to shake her head in disgust.

She grabs her purse and looks back at him. "Fine," she says back to him. "But you know, the next time you want something from me, maybe think twice about calling because maybe I won't be around."

Before Jeff can stop her, Meggan storms past him and he hears the front door slam shut. He closes his eyes at the same time then opens them and runs his hand through his hair. "What have I done?" he asks himself.

Scene Four - The Tower's, Floor Eight; Victoria's Condo

Victoria lays down on the pillow next to Robbie, sweat dripping off her naked body as the two just had an intense love making session. Part of what she missed about Robbie while they were separated was his ability to please her in the bedroom. She smiles over to him as she tries to catch her breath.

"You certainly didn't lose your ability in the bedroom while we were apart," she says with a sly grin on her face.

"If anything, it made me want you even more," Robbie replies to her as she leans over and kisses her passionately. "I never want to be apart from you for that long again."

"You won't be," she says back to him. "Now that we are back together, nothing will ever break us up again, Robbie. We can make it through anything together."

He looks into her eyes as he caresses her face. "I want to be with you more than anything, Vic. You're right, I don't think anything or anyone can break us up again. As long as we are open and honest with each other, we will be fine."

Victoria forces herself to gulp down hard as she thinks about the lawsuit that happened between Jeff and Robbie; Robbie ended up losing half of Leah's estate, including the house. Victoria knows that she was the one who first planted the idea of suing in Jeff's mind; she doesn't think Robbie would be very happy if he knew this fact.

"I agree, as long as we tell each other everything, we will be okay," she tells him finally.

"Yea, no more secrets," Robbie tells her as his phone starts to ring. He reaches over and grabs his telephone. "Ah, it's the police station. I should take this," he says as he crawls out of bed and answers his telephone.

Victoria pulls some blankets up closer to her face. "I won't lose you again Robbie," she whispers to herself. "You can never know what I did. Never."

Scene Five - Raven's Meadow Mental Institution

Cory watches Robin for a moment longer before he moves closer to her. "So, should we make plans for you to maybe come home for a day or two? I'm sure your doctor would let you out on a day pass or something."

Robin looks up at her husband and feels her eyes glaze over a little more as the medication starts to work on her. She yawns a little, tiredness is a common side effect of her medication. She looks at Cory and suddenly feels upset.

"No, I don't think that would be a good idea," she snaps at him quickly. "I think staying here is just fine. Why isn't this enough for you?"

Cory arches his eyebrow. "Robin? What is it? What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong," she tells him. "I'm just tired of being put under the third degree by you. I'm exhausted now! I'm tired, I want to go to bed."

Cory stands up and watches Robin move from the sofa over to the bed. He sighs and realizes that his hunch was right - Robin's mood completely changed again after she was given her medication.

"I will get you out of her Robin," he whispers to himself as he moves towards the doorway. A nurse opens the door and smiles to Cory. "I want to see my wife's chart."

"I'm afraid the doctor has it," she says back to him.

"Then take me to see the doctor because I'm not leaving here until I have seen my wife's chart," he says as he grits his teeth. "I still have power of attorney over my wife, so I have every right to ask for this."

"I wasn't disputing that," she tells him. "Let me check on Robin one more time and then we can go together, okay?"

Scene Six - The Sugarbowl

"I'm surprised you wanted to meet me here and not out at the mansion," Tyler tells Kim as they sit across from each other in the back booth of the coffee house. He was at work when he got a text from Kim asking him to meet her for coffee; Tyler, wanting to still make things work with Kim, jumped at the chance to see her again. "I'm just upset that Blake isn't here. You know, I always love seeing my little boy."

"I know you do, Tyler," she smiles back to him. "I left him with a babysitter at the Twin Peaks Executive Hotel though. I have a busy day planned today."

Tyler arches his eyebrow. "At the hotel? Why are you staying at the hotel?"

Kim takes a deep breath. "It's actually why I wanted to see you today," she says back to him. "I've left Bob. My marriage to him is over."

Tyler's eyes open in shock. "I can't believe this. You've been telling me for months that all you wanted was to make your marriage work. What happened?"

Kim sighs, not wanting to get into all of the details about Bob's ultimatum with Tyler. The bottom line is that she couldn't give up her son to make her marriage work; her little boy is the most important thing in the world to her.

"It's a long story," she finally tells him. "But, it's over. I can't go back to Bob. It will never be the same."

Tyler reaches over and grabs her hand. "I'm sorry to hear that, Kim," he tells her and he means it. Despite wanting Kim, all he really wants is for her to be happy. "If I can do anything, I'm here for you."

Kim fights some tears in her eyes as she looks back at him. "Actually, there is something that you can help me with. I'm going to busy the next couple of days looking for a place to live. I can't stay in the hotel with a baby forever. I'm hoping you can watch Blake for me?"

"Of course I can," he quickly replies to her. "I'd love to have more time with my son. And if you need help finding a place…"

"I think I can manage that part," she replies to him. "But thank you for your help. I just have to get my life back on track."

Tyler nods to her, wondering if her failed marriage means that they will finally have a future together. "Anything else that you need, you know I'm here for you," he says to her as he squeezes her hand again. "Anything, Kim. I mean that."

At the window seat, Adam and Natasha sit side by side, each with a mocha as they catch up with each other. Adam has been wanting to touch base with Natasha ever since Barbara cryptically told him that she knows his secret; he has been racking his brain thinking of there is any way that she could possibly know about their affair but he doesn't seem to think of a way that she would have learned the truth.

"I'm glad that we had our double date the other night," Natasha tells him as she takes a sip of her drink. "It was nice to get out of the house and actually feel normal again."

Adam nods back to her. "I know Shane appreciated the effort as well," he informs her. "He has been worried about you."

"I know," Natasha admits to him. "I've been trying to be normal but grieving our baby has been a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm starting to get back to normal though, you know? It doesn't hurt as much. And, I know that Jacob needs me."

"Shane needs you too," Adam tells her. "You have to be okay with getting things back on track with your husband."

"I will be," Natasha smiles back to him. "Now, you said it was important that we talk. What's going on with you?"

Adam pauses for a moment and thinks about Barbara's comments again. "It's my mother in law," he begins to tell her as Natasha arches her eyebrow. "I don't know anything for sure, but I suspect she may know something."

Natasha's eyes open wider in shock. "Know something, about what?"

"Us, maybe?" Adam replies to her. "Look, I don't know how it happened but she mentioned to me that she knows the kind of man I am and that I have a secret. I mean, I don't know, for all I know, this could be more garbage of everyone thinking I killed Reg. It's … it's just been bugging me and I wanted to tell you."

"We have to find out what she knows," Natasha quickly tells him. "We have to make sure that she doesn't tell Shane and Helen what happened. She could ruin everything."

Adam grabs Natasha's hand. "I know and don't worry," he says back to her. "I won't let Barbara say anything. I will play into her religious beliefs if I have too. We have nothing to worry about."

Natasha looks down at Adam's hand on top of hers and then looks into his eyes. "Make sure you keep me posted, okay?"

"I will."

Unbeknownst to either of them, Helen stands at the doorway of the coffee house and watches the two of them intact together. What Helen's eyes are drawn too is Adam's hand on top of Natasha's. Helen feels her heart skip a beat before she turns around and leaves unseen by her husband and her good friend.

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane's Office

"Come in," Shane calls out as he sits at his desk hearing a knock on his office door. He looks up from his file when the door opens and is surprised to see Barbara standing there. "Mrs. Mills, this is a surprise, please come in."

"I certainly hope I'm not interrupting you, I am sure you are most busy," Barbara tells him as she moves closer to his desk.

"No, it's fine. What can I do for you? I hope this isn't anything health related," he says, thinking maybe she is ill.

"No, nothing like that," she tells him back. "I'm fine. I'm actually here to see how you're doing."

"Me? I'm fine, Mrs. Mills," he says back to her.

"And your wife?" Barbara asks him next. "I know she had that terrible fall at the house. I've been telling Adam for months that the hand rail needs to be replaced but…"

"Natasha seems to be getting better each and every day," Shane replies to her, curious about her real motives about being there.

"She has been acting odd, hasn't she?" Barbara asks him back as Shane nods a little. "Well, if you want my advice, Dr. Glubbs, don't stop digging until you know exactly what's going on with your wife. The truth, sometimes, surprises people."

Shane arches his eyebrow at her comments. "I will do that, thank you Mrs. Mills."

"You're very welcome," Barbara replies to him. "Now, I've taken up enough of your time. But you remember what I said. "

***

"Paige," Dawn whispers from the nurses station as she sees her friend walking by. Paige stops and looks at Dawn, who is wearing her candy stripper uniform and smiles at her before she starts to walk over to the nurses station. "What are you doing here?"

Paige looks back at her and remembers Shane offering her a job as his assistant. "You won't believe what happened today!"

Dawn waits for her to reply before she encourages her friend. "Well, tell me already!"

"I got a job, here at the hospital!"

"What?" Dawn asks shocked. "We can have lunch, like, every day!"

"I know, it will be awesome."

"Wait, what kind of job did you get here? I'm only a volunteer, you know?" Dawn asks her next.

Paige moves a piece of hair behind her ear and nods back to her friend. "I'm going to be an assistant. To Shane Glubbs!"

Dawn can't help but laugh a little as she gets a huge grin on her face. She knows that Paige has a crush on the doctor, and Dawn has been encouraging her friend to go after the doctor because she knows that it would kill Natasha if her husband was interested in a beautiful, young woman like Paige.

"I'm so proud of you right now Paige!" Dawn smiles as she moves around and hugs her. "You took my advice. You're going after what you really want!"

"I'm not," Paige quickly tells her. "This has nothing to do with my crush on Shane."

"Oh please," Dawn replies to her. "You can't fool me, I'm your best friend."

Paige suddenly feels her cheeks turn bright red. "Don't be embarrassed," Dawn tells her. "I will keep your secret. I won't tell anyone."

Scene Eight - Raven's Meadow Mental Institution

Cory storms into the doctor's office as the nurse follows behind him. "I'm sorry," she tells the doctor, who is sitting at her desk. "I tried to tell him to wait but he wouldn't listen to me."

"It's fine," Robin's doctor tells the nurse as she stands up. "I've been expecting Mr. Calvin for some time now."

"You've been expecting me?" Cory asks her, livid about what he has seen on his chart. He was right all along; the drug that they have been giving Robin is not the drug that she should be having, it's impacting her mood and causing to have relapses. "You better start explaining what the hell you're doing to my wife!"

"Please calm down, Mr. Calvin," she says back to him. "I've simply been following orders."

"Orders? You realize that I am in control here, don't you? I want you to make Robin better, not feed her these damn drugs!"

"Actually, you're not in control," a voice says from behind Cory which makes him shut his eyes. He would know that voice anywhere.

"Melissa?" he asks before he turns around and stares at his mother in law.

"In the flesh," she smirks at him. "And you see, I'm actually the one in control now."

Cory shakes his head in disbelief. "You have no control over Robin," he spits at her. "I should have known you were involved in this!"

"I do have control," she reveals to him. "You see, when I visited Robin not too long ago, she signed these papers," Melissa says to him as she passes him some papers.

"What the hell is this?"

"Robin's power of attorney," Melissa reveals to him as a grin creeps on her face. "And as you can see, she signed that over to me. So I am in control of what happens here, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Next on One Day at a Time
- Donovan, Savannah & Trenyce tell Kim about Andy's drinking
