Scene 1
Setting: The Glubbs Home; Shane’s House

Shane Glubbs pulls his SUV into the garage. Exiting the vehicle, he enters the house. He hears nothing, so he realizes that Natasha is sleeping. He slowly walks upstairs. He walks past his bedroom and enters the washroom. He runs the cold water and splashes it on his face. After drying his hands, he turns off the light and opens the door to the guest room. He sees Natasha Calimo-Calvin sleeping. He walks over to her and sits on the side of the bed, looking at her. He slowly runs his finger over her face.

‘You’re so beautiful,’ he says to himself. Suddenly Natasha stirs. Shane slowly gets up and leaves the room. He walks into his bedroom and shuts the door.

"I have to find a way to get over my feelings for Natasha," he tells himself as he undresses. As he strips down to his boxers, Shane realizes what he has to do. "I have to find a new girlfriend. A new woman will help me forget about Natasha."

Shane shuts off his light and crawls into bed. As he gets comfortable, he wonders who he could pursue. He remembers seeing a young woman at the hospital, getting treated for a bug bite.

"Robin’s sister, what’s her name?" he asks himself. "Oh yes, Rebecca. She was a beauty. Can’t hurt to try," he thinks as he falls asleep.

**The Next Morning**

Scene 2
Setting: The Calimo House; Robbie and Leah’s Home

Robbie sits in the dinning room eating some bacon and eggs, drinking coffee and reading The Twin Peaks Sun. Soon, Leah emerges from the kitchen with a bagel and a coffee in a travel mug.

"Hey baby," he says, looking at her. "Sorry I missed you last night. You got home so late."

Leah stops and puts her briefcase on the table. She turns to the desk and starts looking for a file.

"Yea, sorry. I had a late meeting," she covers.

"I thought we were going to start trying to have a baby," he says getting up and walking behind her. He puts his arms around here and slowly begins to kiss her neck.

"Robbie, please. I have an early meeting. I can’t be late."

Robbie moves back. "OK, something’s going on. You’ve been acting weird since yesterday Leah. What’s up?"

Leah grabs her briefcase and walks to the door. "Nothing’s up. I’m just bust with work. There’s a new deal in the works, and I have to make it happen. I’ll be home later and we can talk or whatever," Leah says.

Robbie walks over and kisses her. "Promise?"

"Promise," Leah says kissing her husband back. Leah leaves the house.

Robbie walks to the door and watches his wife get in the car. "Something’s definitely not right with you Leah. But why? And why aren’t you confiding in me?" he asks himself.

Scene 3
Setting: The Towers; Floor Twelve; Adam’s Apartment

The bright sun is creeping into the apartment living room as the blinds are slightly open. Silence encompasses the living quarters. In the bedroom, Adam Black lays on top of the covers as the summer heat is massive. Next to him, is Victoria Franky who is only in a sheer night gown.

Victoria quickly stirs, and mumbles something. Inside her head, she’s dreaming.

[Flash--Victoria’s Dream]

Victoria’s surrounded by white clouds. She’s dressed in a long white dress. She looks around, and calls out. ‘Adam! Adam, are you here?’

Victoria turns but sees nothing but white clouds. Suddenly in front of her, the clouds emerge into Adam and Helen. They are wearing black clothing. Adam has his arm around Helen.

‘What’s going on?’ Victoria asks them.

Helen looks at Victoria and starts to laugh. ‘I remember! I remember, everything!’ Helen laughs.

‘And you know what that means, don’t you?’ Adam replies as he leans over and kisses Helen passionately.

Victoria starts to scream. ‘No! No! Nnnoooo!’

[End of Victoria’s Dream]

The state of sleep is broken with the sound of Victoria’s beeper going on. A groggy Victoria lets out a groan of disgust, as she reaches her hand to the end table and finds her beeper. Quickly hitting a button, the contraption shuts off. She pulls it close to her face and sees the hospital’s phone number.

She rolls over and sees Adam still sleeping. "Adam?," she asks, touching his face with her hand. "Baby? Are you awake?"

Adam stirs and opens his eyes. "I am now," he smiles. "Who was it? The hospital?"

Victoria puts the beeper back on the end table. "Yea. Sorry. I thought you’d want to go with me. To see Helen."

"Thanks for understanding why I have to see her Vic," he says moving closer to kiss her. Their lips meet and they share a passionate kiss.

Adam rolls off the bed and walks out of the room. Victoria sits up in bed.

"God. I have to keep Helen from remembering. She can never know what happened to cause her accident," Victoria whispers to herself.

Scene 4
Setting: Patricia’s Condo

Patricia West steps out of the shower, and quickly wraps her body in a towel. She opens the door from the washroom, allowing the hot steam to creep from the washroom. She walks quickly to her bedroom and dries her body. She proceeds to get dressed. Putting on a light pink sun dress, she walks back to the washroom and hangs her towel.

Suddenly she stops at the door of the washroom. She quickly turns around, and sees the empty hallway.

"That’s strange," she says to herself. "I just got the strangest feeling I’m being watched. Hmm. It’s probably nothing."

Scene 5
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Shane arrives at his office. He opens his door, and sees the light on already. He turns his head, and spots Leah sitting on the sofa.

"Sorry for just entering without you here, but I’m desperate to get the DNA results back," Leah says getting up from the sofa.

"It’s no problem. I came in early just to learn then myself," Shane replies, walking to his desk. Shane sits at his desk and looks at his files. "Ah, here it is."

Shane opens the folder, and flips through some of the pages.

"Well? What’s the verdict?" Leah asks impatiently.

"I don’t know if it’s good news or bad news, but you are related to the person’s hair you brought in last night."

Leah steps back, and puts her hand on her face. "Thank you Shane," she says grabbing her purse. "I’ll talk to you later," she says as she head to the door.

"Leah!," Shane calls. "If you need to talk about it, please call me. I’m here," Shane says.

"Thank you," Leah says leaving.

Scene 6
Setting: Rebecca’s Condo

Jason enters the master bedroom, and he sees Rebecca still sleeping. He walks over to the bed, and sits on the edge. He bends over and kisses Rebecca on the cheek. Rebecca stirs, and smiles. She slowly opens her eyes, wincing slightly as the morning light startles her eyes. She looks up and sees Jason. She smiles again.

"Morning," he says quietly.

She rolls over to face him. "Morning," she replies.

"Sorry to wake you, but breakfast is ready."

Rebecca is taken by surprise. "You made breakfast?"

"You sound surprised!" Jason smiles. "I hope you like pancakes," he replies.

Rebecca sits up. "I like anything made by you," she says before kissing him.

"Good, let’s go before they get cold."

Jason gets off the bed. Rebecca pulls the covers off her body and puts her feet on the ground. She is wearing a short white shirt. She slips on pink slippers and grabs her house coat, which is hanging off the end of a chair. She slips it on and leaves the bedroom.

Scene 7
Setting: The Roboto Offices; Leah’s Office

Leah opens the door to her office, and slams it behind her. She throws her purse on to the sofa, and walks to the bar. She opens a bottle of water and takes a long drink, as if she had just finished running a marathon. She puts the bottle down on the counter and walks behind her desk. She sits in her chair, and puts her hands over her face. The cold sweat from her hands makes her feel better. Without looking, she hears the door to her office close.

"Go away," she says, not removing her hands from her face.

"We have to talk. It’s important," Jeff replies.

Leah looks up and sees Jeff standing in her office, the door shut.

"Where’s Noah?" Leah asks.

"School."

"School? What are you trying to pull here Jeff?" Leah demands to know.

"Nothing Leah. He’s a 10 year old boy. We are going to be staying in Twin Peaks for awhile. I thought it was best if our son was getting an education. It’s not like he can just roam free," Jeff replies.

Leah remains silent, knowing that Jeff is making sense. Of course Noah has to be in school. Why would she ask otherwise?

"What are you doing here?" she asks, trying to change subject as quickly as possible.

"We need to talk. I told you that already as well. Having a rough morning Leah?"

Leah glares at him. How dare he mock her! What the hell was his problem!? What she would give to slap him, or throw something at him. No, she thinks. I have to remain calm about this. He’s just a man. Just a man who I was married to a long time ago. The best thing to do is to be nice to him and make him go away.

"Yes, of course. What would you like to discuss this morning?" Leah says, showing her hand to the sofa. Jeff takes her offer and sits down.

"A lot has happened already, I understand that Leah. Seeing myself and Noah must be a huge shock for you. But there is more. More that you have to know," Jeff says.

A shock!? That’s putting it mildly, she thinks to herself. Leah silently scolds herself, and re-instructs herself to be polite to Jeff.

"More? What more could there possibly be?" she asks, sitting in the sofa across from the one Jeff is seated on.

"It’s about the annulment. Our annulment," Jeff begins.

Oh God, Leah thinks. He believes we still have a chance. How should I break this to him? I love Robbie. I love my new life! Why is all this happening now!?

"Our annulment. It never went through. We are still married," Jeff says softly.

Leah freezes. "Excuse me? Can you just say that again?"

"We are still married. I know this is surprising, but please listen to me," Jeff says.

Leah gets up and walks to her desk. She turns to Jeff, and replies "Get out! Get out of my office! Now!" she shouts. "I can’t take this right now. Just leave!"

Jeff gets up and approaches the door. He turns, "I am sorry Leah. But you had to know," he says before he exits. Jeff shuts the door behind him.

Leah grabs her bottle of water and throws it at the door. She crumbles to the floor in tears.

Scene 8
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Helen’s Room

Helen Mills lays in the narrow hospital bed. Her head is wrapped in white mesh. She has a heart monitor connected to her, although she doesn’t need it. The doctors are using it for precautionary purposes.

Slowly the door to her room opens. Adam enters and walks slowly to sit next to her. Adam grabs her head, and takes it in his. He slowly moves it up to his lips and he kisses it softly. His other hand slowly touches her hair.

"Please wake up Helen. Please wake up and tell us what happened to you. We need to know how this accident happened, and we need to know if anyone was responsible. More importantly, we need to know you will be alright--I need to know that you’ll be alright," he pleas to her.

Unbeknownst to Adam, Victoria is at the door, listening to his pleas. A tear emerges in Victoria’s eyes and strolls down her cheek. ‘Have I lost him?’ She thinks, as she watches him hold Helen’s hand. ‘And what will he think when he learns that I caused Helen’s accident? He will hate me for sure! That can’t happen! I have to make sure no one learns that I caused this accident!’

Scene 9
Setting: The Twin Peaks Police Station; Robbie’s Office

Robbie Calimo is in his office, drinking a cup of coffee and reading a report from a file folder. He has his feet on top of his desk, and is having a hard time concentrating on the file. He throws his feet off the desk, when he hears a knock on the door.

"Come in," he calls.

He pulls the file away from his face to see Meggan Richardson enter the office. She closes the door behind her.

"What’s going on Robbie? Why did you ask me to meet you here?" she asks, sitting in the chair in front of his desk.

"You’re close friends with Leah. Do you know what’s going on with her?" he asks, cutting right to the chase.

"No. I didn’t know something was going on with her. I hope it’s nothing serious."

"That’s just it. I have no idea what it is. She’s not talking to me."

"That’s strange," Meggan says. "Leah and you normally talk about everything."

"Can you do me a favor and see if she’s alright?" Robbie asks.

"Of course I will. I won’t betray her confidence. But I’ll see if she’ll open up to me."

"Thank you Meggan."

Robbie emerges from his chair and hugs Meggan. Meggan proceeds to open the door and prepare to leave. As she is doing soon, Robin Navy enters Robbie’s office.

"Oh! Am I interrupting?" Robin asks.

"No, I was just leaving," Meggan says, exiting.

"This isn’t a bad time, is it Robbie?" Robin asks shutting the door.

"No, not if you make it quick," Robbie replies.

"I’ll make it quick then. I want to thank you."

"Thank me? For what?"

"Knowing that Cory and I will be happy forever," Robin says hugging Robbie.

"What are you talking about Robin?"

Robin smiles as she hugs Robbie. "I know that you want me to be happy right?"

"Right."

"Cory makes me happy."

"Good. I am happy for you, but this is a very strange meeting Robin. What are you up too?"

While in the embrace with Robin, a former lover, Leah enters the police station. She quickly spots her husband, or supposed husband in the arms of her sister--the woman he was having an affair with. ’Oh God! Not again!’ Leah thinks to herself, and rushes out of the police station.

Scene 10
Setting: The Towers; The Penthouse; Cory and Robin’s Home

Cory Calvin is cleaning up the breakfast dishes. He and his wife Robin had a small breakfast. Just some toast and coffee. He is putting the few dishes into the dishwasher when the telephone rings.

"Hello," he answers.

A woman returns his reception. "Mr. Calvin. It’s Jean, from the law firm."

"Jean, what can I do for you?"

"We would like to clean out Natasha’s office today. Would you come in and take anything you’d like?"

Cory stops. How would this affect him? Sofia cleaned out most of Natasha’s things from the penthouse. He has to do her office. Can he say no? How would that look.

Cory cleans the lump in his throat. "Yes. I’ll be there soon," he says hanging up the phone.
