Scene One - The Tower's, The Penthouse; Cory & Robin's Home

Cory lays back in the bed as his back arches slightly and he lets out a soft moan of pleasure. He moves his hand down to Rebecca's bobbing head and runs his hands through her long, dark hair as he continues to be taken in by her warm mouth.

"Oh God," he sighs as he climaxes into her mouth. He feels his body shutter for a moment before she comes up to him, licking her lips and smiling at him, clearly enjoying the moment. "That was amazing," he tells her as he feels his heartbeat returning to a normal pace.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it," she winks at him as she leans in and gives him a kiss on his lips. "I can't seem to get enough of you."

Cory chuckles a little. "It's beginning to feel that way, not that I am complaining about this," he tells her as he looks into her eyes.

She sits up and looks into his eyes for a moment. "I was thinking about something," she tells him as she bites her lower lip, not sure how he will react to what he is suggesting.

Cory arches his eyebrow and looks back at his lover. "I'm all ears," he grins back to her.

"Well, what if I moved my stuff into the bedroom? I'm practically sleeping in here every night anyways…" she slowly asks him, still worried about how he will react to what she is offering. She knows that they have agreed that once Robin gets out of the mental hospital that their affair will have to end but she also knows that keeping him happy is all a part of her plan.

Cory sits up in bed and sighs. He runs his hands through his hair as the realization of everything that is happening; he is having an affair with his wife's sister and now she wants to move into the bedroom that he shares with his wife. How did things get to this point? He quickly asks himself.

"You're not saying anything, was I wrong to ask this?" she asks him quickly, hoping to back pedal if she can.

"No, it's fine," he tells her. "We both agreed that this affair would only go on until Robin came back but Rebecca, sharing the bedroom that I share with her, your sister, it seems like it's crossing a line, doesn't it?"

She shrugs her shoulders. "You didn't seem to think it was a crossing a few minutes ago," she says back to him with half a chuckle. "We are already making love in this bed but I understand why you don't want to. We do have to think of Robin in some capacity."

Cory quickly gets out of the bed and pulls on some basketball shorts over his naked body. He turns around and looks at the naked woman in the bed, suddenly realizing that he has been making a huge mistake sleeping with Rebecca.

"I think we should end this now," he finally tells her, as the smile slowly leaves her face. "We can't do this anymore."

Scene Two - Twin Peaks General Hospital

Natasha rests in the hospital bed as she is still recovering from falling down the stairs at Adam and Helen's house. Her mind is racing with the thought of everything that has happened in the last few months. She and Shane had been at odds over him taking the Chief of Staff job; Natasha felt so rejected from her husband that she turned to Adam and they ended up making love. What she wishes is that she could remember the events leading up to her falling down the stairs. Why was she at the Black house? How did she fall down the stairs? She shuts her eyes and thinks about Victoria telling her that she miscarried a baby after the fall. She can't believe that she was pregnant but now that she is thinking about it, it makes sense. She had been feeling dizzy for a few weeks prior; now she knows that she was pregnant and that was the cause of her feeling light headed.

"Wait," she says to herself. "Maybe I discovered that I was pregnant and I went over to the house to tell Adam about the baby. That must be it, there's no other explanation," she continues to tell herself as her mind starts to move to her husband. She gets tears in her eyes as she thinks about how good Shane has been to her, and what does she do? Sleep with Adam and end up pregnant with another man's baby.

"How am I supposed to tell Shane that I had a miscarriage?" she whispers to herself as she gets another tear in her eye and she shakes her head back and forth. "No, he can't know. I have to pretend that none of this happened."

She suddenly thinks about Jacob and she gets more tears in her eyes. She shakes her head thinking that her son could have had a baby brother or sister already. "I have to stop thinking about this," she says to herself. "Having Adam's baby would have ruined so many lives," she says as she has another tear fall from down her cheek. "This is the best thing that could have happened."

"What is the best thing that could have happened?" Shane asks his wife, as he moves into her hospital room.

Scene Three - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home

Dawn pours some hot water into her mug and stirs her hot chocolate. She can't believe what she overheard at the hospital earlier in the evening; Natasha suffered a miscarriage when she fell down the stairs. She can't help but feel responsible for her baby's death. She shakes her head thinking that everything must happen for a reason; still, she doesn't know how she will live with herself knowing that she caused this all.

What's also weighing on her mind, however, is the father of Natasha's unborn child. She knows that this all started because she saw Adam and Natasha having sex the night of the hospital gala and with the timing of everything, Adam very well could have been the father of the unborn child. And if that's true, Dawn killed her half sibling.

"It's impossible," she whispers to herself. "The baby must have been Shane's. The odds are in favor of Natasha's husband being the father of that baby."

Before she can continue to say anything to herself, she hears the front door open to the house. She moves to the other side of the kitchen and peaks her head around the door as she sees Adam, Helen and Barbara move into the house. She can see the look of sadness on Barbara and Helen's faces.

"Hey," she says coming into the foyer of the house. "What's going on? You all seem so upset."

Barbara looks at her Granddaughter and gasps for a moment. She shakes her head before she walks up the stairs, not saying a word to Dawn. She is far too upset to say anything to Dawn right now. She just wants to have some time alone to grieve her loss.

Dawn arches her eyebrow back to Adam and Helen. "What's wrong with Grandma? What's going on?"

Adam looks back at Helen, who nods a little at him. "Something has happened Dawn, something very tragic."

"It's your Grandfather," Helen continues to tell her. "He passed away this evening."

Dawn shakes her head in disbelief and covers her mouth in shock. "But … I was just there with you guys …How did this happen?"

Helen looks over at Adam quickly and knows that her husband was with Reg when he died; she still doesn't know what exactly was going on between the two men but she can't help but think that Adam is somehow responsible for this.

"He went into cardiac arrest," Adam explains to his daughter. "The doctors did everything they could but …"

"I can't believe this," Dawn says back to them as she gets tears in her eyes. "We just found him and he's taken away from us? This doesn't seem fair!"

"I know baby," Helen replies to her as she comes up to her and hugs her.

"I'm so sorry for your loss Mom," Dawn tells her as they hold each other.

"Thank you," Helen tells her. "We are all upset right now. Are you okay?"

Dawn lets some tears fall from her eyes. "I just want to be alone for a while," she admits to her parents as she starts to move to the stairs.

"Dawn," Helen calls out to her daughter, causing her to stop and turn around and look at Helen. "If you need us, we are here."

Dawn nods her head back to her mother before she moves up the stairs, feeling like her evening just went from bad to worst. Before she can take another step up the stairs, the doorbell rings. She can hear her parents talking in the living room.

"I'll get it," she announces as she moves back down the stairs and towards the door. She opens it and is surprised to see Robbie on the other side of the door.

"Dawn," he says to the young woman. "Just the person I wanted to see," he says to her as she arches her eyebrow.

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

"Dawn told me that you two hung out the other day," Paige tells Max as they sit in the back booth of the coffeehouse together. Paige, after the last couple of days that she's had, really just wanted to chill with her new friend. She finds Max very cool and she's able to talk to him about family drama without feeling like she's being judged by him. He has a way of giving her advice without sounding superficial.

Max takes a sip of his latte and looks over at her. "I hope you're not upset by that," he says back to her. "She came up to me and she seemed like she needed a friend."

"I'm not upset by it at all," Paige admits to him, knowing that Dawn is going through her own difficult time. "Dawn is cool but she has a lot going on in her life. It's good that she can talk to us about stuff, you know?"

Max nods back to her. "How is your Mom doing? You don't mention her very often," Paige asks him, not wanting to monopolize all of their communication time.

Max shrugs. "She's busy with work," he says back to her. "She's working towards being a therapist so she's really busy. But she's good. She lets me just sort of do my thing, which is cool."

"Yea, I wish my family was a laid back as yours," she laughs back to him as she thinks about Jeff and Robbie. "Although, I wish I was like you and still had a Mom. I miss mine so much."

"I can't imagine," he admits to her. "Although, my Dad isn't in the picture so in some ways, I can relate."

"But your Mom isn't making all of these bad decisions," Paige replies to him, thinking of Jeff and his recent involvement with Meggan. She still can't believe that her father is hooking up with the woman that killed Noah; it makes her realize that everything is has been turned upside down since Leah died. "My Dad is acting like someone I don't even know."

Max reaches over and touches her hand, causing Paige to look deep into his eyes and gulp a little. She has never had a boy caress her hand like that before. "He's in pain too Paige," Max says to her, knowing that he is getting to her. "I do believe that in time things will get better."

Paige nods back to him with a slight smile on her face. "Thanks Max," she tells him. "You're a good friend."

He shrugs with a chuckle. "I do what I can! How about we blow this place and go to the mall or something?"

"That sounds like a great idea!" she smiles back to him, wanting to escape the thoughts going through her head.

***

"Did you get those new sketches I drew?" Trenyce asks Donovan as they move to a table in the coffeehouse, each with a hot chocolate. Usually, Trenyce doesn't like to talk about work after hours, but she hadn't been able to run her latest fashion designs by Donovan at the office earlier in the day. She knows that they are high priority with Dominick.

"I did, I think there are some minor tweaks to be made but otherwise, I think they're great," Donovan tells her before he takes a sip of his latte.

"Good," Trenyce replies to him quickly. "Let's make a point of meeting first thing tomorrow to discuss them so we can move forward with the design. I know Dominick is really pressing us to come up with something new quickly."

"It's always a cycle, hey," Donovan replies to her with a chuckle. "As soon as something is out for 6 months, it's considered old."

"Keeps us employed," she laughs back to him. "What else is going on with you?"

Donovan sighs quickly and thinks about Lukas being back in town. He doesn't really want to get into the drama of his ex being back in his life because he's dating Craig and Lukas still hasn't come out to his family. Donovan knows that one of the main reasons he and Lukas broke up is because he wouldn't come out to his family; that's something that Donovan couldn't deal with anymore, despite still loving Lukas very much at the time. The fact that Craig was pursing him and now he is dating his ex just makes it all the more confusing.

"Actually, I'm glad you asked," Donovan tells her, changing the subject. "Have you heard or seen Andy lately?"

Trenyce shakes her head quickly as she moves a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I haven't, actually," she admits to him. "How is he doing?"

"Savannah and I both recently saw him and we think he's getting worse with this drinking," Donovan reveals to her as he thinks back to his last visit with Andy.

Trenyce covers her mouth for a moment. "I wish he'd realize that he isn't doing himself any favors by drinking. He's clearly not dealing with Reese's death properly."

"I know and I agree," Donovan says back to her. "I've discussed this with Kim and she is going to think of something to do to try to help him."

"Like an intervention?" Trenyce asks him as he shrugs his shoulders.

"I'm not sure but something has to happen before he hurts himself or someone else," Donovan says back to her.

Trenyce nods her head. "Well, whatever happens, count me in. I don't want to see Andy hurt any more than he already has."

Scene Five - The Tower's, Floor Five; Craig's Condo

"I poured you a glass of wine," Lukas tells Craig as he passes him a glass of red liquid. "I know the days at the hospital can be long and exhausting."

Craig accepts the wine and moves over on the sofa so his boyfriend can join him. While he takes his first sip of the wine, Craig can't help but think back to having breakfast with his boyfriend a few days earlier; when Craig asked him to open up about his past with Donovan, Lukas walked away from the table. Craig realizes that Lukas is more of a private person, but he does wish that his lover would open up about his past; it's a good way for them to get to know each other and build a stronger relationship. Plus, the way in which he communicates is not a way that Craig can support.

"Thanks for the wine," Craig finally replies to him. "How was your day?"

Lukas finishes his mouthful of wine before he looks over at his lover. "It was good," he says back to him before he leans in and gives Craig a quick kiss on the lips. "I've been looking forward to this all day, though."

Craig smiles back to him. "Have you? That's sweet of you to say."

"What can I say?" Lukas says back to him. "I'm really enjoying spending time with you Craig."

"I'm glad to hear you say that," he tells Lukas. "I know that you don't really want to talk to me about your past with Donovan and that's just fine," he continues to tell him. "But I do have to wonder about coming out to your family. It would be nice to be out with you and not worry about your father spotting us. Do you think that's something you can do? And, I'd appreciate more curtesy when we talk about it, as in, you don't have to leave me alone at a restaurant after we've ordered."

Lukas looks forward and takes another sip of his wine before he stands up and moves to the large window of the condo. He knows that his big fear is that Frederick won't understand him being gay and it would strain his family. The last thing he wants to do is create conflict as everyone in his family has enough going on in their lives.

"Sorry about that," Lukas tells Craig. "I tend to do that when I feel cornered, I just bolt. But, I think about coming out all the time," Lukas finally admits to Craig. "And there's something that you should know."

"What's that?" Craig asks him, hoping that Lukas will finally tell him he's ready to come out.

"I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to come out to my father," Lukas replies to him as he turns around to face his lover. "I know my father very well and I'm not sure he will ever accept me for who I am. I don't want to rock that boat … and so here we are."

Craig nods back to him feeling a bit sad by what he is hearing. He takes another drink of his wine. "So, I guess the question becomes, are you still wanting to see me knowing that I may never be open and free? If not, I'd rather you say so now before we both get in any deeper," Lukas tells Craig, who looks back at him wondering what he should tell Lukas back.

Scene Six - The Tower's, The Penthouse; Cory & Robin's Home

"I'm sorry for what it's worth," Cory tells Rebecca he pours himself a drink in the living room of the penthouse. Cory basically just ended their affair because he started thinking more and more of Robin. He knows that he has to end it before she comes home.

"It's fine," Rebecca fakes a smile on her face. "We both knew that this day was going to arrive sooner or later."

"I just think it's the right time," Cory replies to her. "I feel like the world's biggest jerk sleeping with you while my wife is away getting better."

"Don't do that to yourself," Rebecca tells him as she comes up to him. "We both made this decision. And we both knew that it would end one day."

Cory nods back to her. "You really are the most understanding woman I've ever met," he smiles back to her as she laughs a little.

Before she can reply, the telephone rings. He walks over to it and picks it up. "Cory Calvin," he says into the receiver. "Oh, really? No, that's great news … Yes, thank you so much for telling me!"

He hangs up the phone and runs his hand through hair before he turns around to face Rebecca. "What's going on?" she asks him, sensing something just happened.

"That was Robin's doctor," he reveals to her. "Apparently, she's making progress and she's asking about me."

Rebecca's eyes open wider in surprise. "That is good news," she nods back to him.

"This could be it Rebecca," he smiles back to her. "I could be getting my wife back!"

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Are you going to answer me? What is for the best?" Shane asks Natasha again as he moves into her room and towards her bed. He just overheard her say that it was for the best but considering everything that has happened, he can't imagine what is for the best.

Natasha looks back at him and knows that she can't tell him about the baby that she just lost, which is what she had been talking to herself about. She fakes a smile on her face. "I was just thinking out loud that it's for the best that I have to stay in the hospital for one more night. I'm still in a lot of pain from the fall."

"Do you want more pain killers?" he asks her, not wanting his wife to be in pain.

She shakes her head no. "I just want to rest and hopefully get better soon."

"I want that too," he replies to her. "I was so scared that something bad was going to happen to you Natasha. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you."

"You're not going to lose me," she replies to him as she feels her eyes swell with water. "I'm right here."

"And everything is going to get back to normal now," he tells her as he grabs her hand. He notices some tears falling from her eyes. "What is it? What's wrong?"

Natasha feels her heartbreak inside her chest as she mourns for baby. But she can't tell Shane; not now, not ever. "I'm just so happy that everything will be okay," she says through her tears. "Can you come in to the bed and hold me?"

"Of course," Shane replies to her as he moves next to her and holds his crying wife. "I love you Nat. Everything will be fine."

Scene Eight - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home

"This really isn't a good time Mr. Calimo," Dawn says to Robbie as he enters the foyer of the house.

"Actually, it's Detective Calimo right now," he says back to her as she gulps a little. "I won't take up much of your time but I do have some questions for you about the night Natasha fell down the stairs."

"I'm not sure how I can help…" she quickly says back to him as she continues to feel a little stress.

"You were the one who dialled 9-1-1, yes?" he asks her as she nods back to him. "Do you know why Natasha was here?"

"I don't know, actually," Dawn lies to him as Adam and Helen come into the foyer.

"Robbie? What's going on?" Adam asks the police officer.

"I just had a few questions for Dawn about Natasha's fall," Robbie replies to Dawn's parents.

"She's not in any trouble, is she?" Helen asks him back.

"Not at all," Robbie replies. "We are just trying to figure out what happened."

"It was an accident," Dawn tells him. "She was going up the stairs and she slipped and she fell. I don't know what else I can say."

Robbie nods back to her. "Okay, if you do remember anything else, please give me a call."

Dawn suddenly breathes a sigh of relief knowing that the cop is seemingly believing her story. Now, she just hopes that Natasha never remembers what actually happened that night.

"I will do that, thank you," Dawn uneasily smiles back to him.
