Victoria looks at Adam, trying to read his mind. "She was here. At the hospital. Apparently she was suffering from amnesia. Shane Glubbs was with her."

"Was she alright? Was she hurt?" Adam presses Victoria.

"No. I think she was fine. Perfect," Victoria replies.

"I have to find her. I have to see her," Adam says rushing out of the door.

Robin removes the hands from her face and looks at Cory. "Fine, thank you," she snaps.

Cory takes a deep breath. "What the hell has gotten into you? You have been in a mood since you came out of the hospital. What’s going on?" he says angrily.

Robin stands up. "Nothing! Nothing has happened. We are still the perfect couple we were. Everything is fine," Robin yells, trying not to cry.

Robin turns her back on Cory, as the tears begin to flow from her eyes. Cory puts his arms on her shoulders.

"Hey. What’s wrong? Tell me. It’s nothing that we can’t work out," he says, trying to assure her.

Robin turns and hugs her husband. "I just don’t want to lose you Cory. Promise me that you’ll never leave me," Robin pleas.

Cory exits the embrace and kisses his wife on the lips. "I love you Robin. Nothing will break us up. Nothing."

Robin smiles a little. "Promise?" she asks.

"Promise," he says, kissing her again.

"I’m glad I did. I hate to see you upset."

"Robbie, please. I don’t want to talk about," Leah says walking over to the sofa.

"I know. I’ll give you time. But I do want to help if I can."

"Thank you, but I have to get back to work. I’ll see you at home, alright?"

Robbie walks over to his wife and kisses her on the forehead. "OK. See you at home," he says.

Robbie slowly exits the office, leaving Leah to fall back into the sofa.

"Damn it! Why is this happening now?" she asks herself. Leah looks down and sees some hair on the sofa. "Hmm. Some of Noah’s hair fell out."

"Feeling better?" he asks, as he rests his hand on her leg.

"Yea, a little. I’m still dying to see my friends and family," she sighs, not realizing the placement of his hand.

"I could take you home. To the penthouse, I mean."

Natasha looks at him. "No. I can’t go to the penthouse. I think I’ve caused Robin enough pain for one day."

"Natasha, you know more is going to come from this. Especially once Cory learns that you are alive and well," Shane tells her.

Their talk is interrupted by Adam entering Shane’s office.

"Adam! What are you doing here?" Shane demands standing up from the sofa.

Adam doesn’t answer, instead remains stunned at the sight of Natasha. "My God. It’s true. You’re alive," Adam says looking at Natasha.

Natasha slowly gets up. "Yes, Adam. I’m alive. And it’s so wonderful to see you."

Natasha walks over to Adam and the two embrace.

"This is so overwhelming. How did this happen? When?" Adam says.

"There’ll be time for that later. Right now, I just want to see you. I’ve missed you. I’ve missed everyone so much," Natasha says, getting a few tears in her eyes.

She soon arrives about halfway down the hall and turns. She looks at the door. "Chief Dean Jones" is what the plaque reads. Meggan knocks four times.

She hears a faint "come in", so she opens the door and enters.

"Chief Jones, hello," Meggan says shutting the door and sitting down in a chair in front of his desk.

"Meggan," he stops and pauses. "I hope it’s alright for me to be informal at this meeting."

Meggan nods her head, so he continues. "It’s my understanding that you are here to be reinstated on the force."

"That’s correct," Meggan says. "Now that my husband is alive, and I am no longer a murder suspect I would like to come back to work."

Chief Jones tapes his pencil a few times and then drops it to the table. He stands up and walks over to get some water. "I would, but there is a small problem."

Meggan gets a concerned look on her face. "What sort of problem is there?" she asks.

"Your uniform is at the dry cleaners until tomorrow," Jones says turning and smiling at Meggan. Meggan gets a huge smile on her face.

"You mean...?"

"Welcome back, Officer Richardson," Jones says.

Meggen gets up and embraces Jones. "Thank you so much. See you tomorrow."

A voice is heard over the intercom. "Mr. Victors is here to see Ms. Davenport. May I let him in?"

"Yes. I’ve been expecting him," Daisy says, hitting the button again ending the conversation with her secretary.

Daisy hears her door open, and close quietly. She looks over and sees Vinny Victors standing with a huge smile on his face.

"You rang, my dear," he smiles.

"Yes, sit down. This isn’t going to be a happy conversation," she spits as she gets up. Daisy walks to her bar.

Vinny sits in a chair. "What’s going on? It sounds serious."

Daisy pours to glasses of rye from her bar and then returns to her desk, handing Vinny a glass. "It is serious. Our deal, it’s off. I can’t do what you need me to do. I can’t support all your business adventures, as you put it," Daisy says drinking her rye.

Vinny finishes his rye as well, and slams the glass on the desk. "What the hell is going on here? You promised to help me!"

"I know, and I intend to keep my promise, but you have to come up with conditions. I won’t be involved in anything illegal. Understand that Vinny. Nothing illegal," Daisy says firmly.

Vinny gets up and walks to the door. He turns around. "I’ll be back. Soon," he says before leaving, slamming the door shut behind him.

"That went better then I expected," Daisy says to herself.

Scene 7

"Oh Adam. You were my first love. And I hope we can become friends," Natasha says in return.

They embrace again.

"I’ll call you," Adam says leaving.

Once Adam leaves, Natasha turns to Shane. She embraces him.

"Thank you so much for giving me my life and friends back," she says with tears in her eyes.

Shane looks at her. "Don’t you know how much you mean to me? I would anything for you," he says. Suddenly Shane realizes that he may have said too much. He quickly cuts her off and continues "Why don’t you go back to my house and get a good nights sleep. And in the morning you can see Cory."

Natasha smiles. "That’s a good idea. Are you coming?"

"Not yet. I have some things to do here before I can come home."

"OK, I’ll see you there, unless I’m sleeping," Natasha says grabbing her purse. Natasha leaves the office.

Shane sinks in his chair. He covers his hands with his face. ‘I have to get over my feelings for Natasha. I just have too,’ he says to himself.

Shane hears his office door open. "Forget something?" he asks, without looking up.

"No," Leah says.

Shane looks up and sees Leah. "Hey Leah. Sorry, I thought you were someone else."

"I got that," Leah says sitting down.

"What brings you here?"

"I need your help. But I need your word that nothing I am about to say will leave this room," Leah says looking very serious.

"Yea, sure. What’s up?" Shane asks.

Leah pulls out the zip lock bag with the strand of Noah’s hair. "I need you to do a DNA test with me and this hair and see if it’s a match," Leah reveals.

Kim continues type, as the door opens. Jackson McQuillan enters her office.

"Do you have a moment?" he asks, standing in the doorway.

Kim pauses, and then continues to type. "No. Go away, please."

Jackson enters the office, despite Kim’s rejection. He closes the door and sits on the sofa. "We really need to talk Kim. We need to clear some things up."

Kim stops typing completely and looks at Jackson. "Good God, what now Jackson? There’s always something with you, isn’t there?"

"It’s about a few days ago. And what happened here. With Robbie. I’m concerned. I think his temper is getting out of hand. I worried about what he may do to me and possibly even you," Jackson says concerned.

Kim rolls her eyes. "Nice try Jackson. Robbie is a cop, he knows what he’s doing. He’s trying to protect me. From you no less."

"Please Kim, just hear me out," Jackson pleas.

"No! Get out of my office! Leave me alone! Or I’ll call security," Kim demands.

Jackson gets up and walks out of the office, shutting the door behind him. Outside, he stops. "She has to hear me out. She has too," he says before walking off.

She stops dead in her tracks to see Patricia sitting on the sofa.

"Meggan! I’ve been waiting for you," Patricia says, sitting up.

"Who the hell are you?" Meggan asks. "And how did you get in here?"

"I’m a friend....of Vinny’s. I need to talk to you, about your husband. Please hear me out," Patricia reveals.

"A friend? What’s your name? Why didn’t Vinny mention this visit to me?"

"My name is Patricia West. I helped your husband after he was stabbed. I nursed him back to health. Vinny didn’t mention anything to you, because he doesn’t know that I am here," Patricia tells Meggan.

"You helped Vinny? My God, you must have saved his life," Meggan says, sitting next to Patricia. "Thank you, for saving my husband’s life."

Patricia smiles. "You’re welcome. But you must be warned. Something isn’t right. I had to come to you...I can’t keep this lie up anymore," Patricia says, turning serious very quickly.

"Lie? What lie? What are you talking about?"

Suddenly the women hear Vinny’s car pulling into the garage.

"I must go! Vinny can’t find me here!" Patricia says getting up.

"Leave through the back. But please, tell me what’s going on," Meggan pleas with Patricia, as the women walk to the back door.

"There’s no time now. But be careful! Your husband isn’t who he claims to be!" Patricia says, as she leaves the house. Meggan locks the door after Patricia leaves.

"What on earth is she talking about?" Meggan wonders to herself.

Suddenly Vinny enters the house.

"Hey, who are you talking too?" he asks his wife.

"Just thinking aloud," Meggan says, looking at Vinny oddly.

Scene 10
Setting: Twin Peaks General Hospital; Outside Helen’s Room

Adam arrives outside Helen’s room. A young doctor is looking at Helen’s file.

"Doctor, how is she?" Adam asks.

"Helen suffered from severe head trauma. From the symptoms the doctor was describing, it sounds like she has amnesia," she tells Adam.

"Amnesia? Will she ever get her memory back?" Adam presses.

Victoria turns the corner, and over hears the conversation.

"I don’t know. It’s far to early too tell. Right now, she needs rest and time to recover. But chances are she’ll never remember," the doctor tells Adam.

Adam pounds his fist in the wall. Victoria gets a small smile on her face. "She can’t remember. Not now...not ever," Victoria says to herself.
