Scene One - Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Cafeteria

"I'm sorry that Helen went back to Baltimore without you," Natasha tells Adam as they sit across from each other in the hospital cafeteria. Natasha has listened to her friend tell his recent struggles with meeting Helen's parents only for Reg not to like him and put him down verbally at every turn. While Natasha does feel bad for Adam, she thinks that Helen going back to Baltimore was probably the best decision that could have been made as the couple had been fighting nonstop. Sometime a part may help with perspective.

Adam takes a sip of the mediocre coffee in front of him and looks at his friend. He knows that the last straw with Helen and the fighting was when Dawn broke up an argument that was escalating. "I'm not upset that she went away," he reveals to Natasha. "The space between us is a good thing. Dawn did not need to hear us fighting anymore. It was the last thing that she needed to hear and frankly, I'm glad that I don't have to defend myself on a constant basis right now."

Natasha shakes her head. "I just can't believe that Helen didn't see how Reg was treating you and didn't consider it a bad thing. I can't imagine getting put down like that all the time."

"In some ways, I do understand where Helen is coming from. She wanted to find her parents desperately and now that she has, she wants everything to be like a perfect family. I just don't think she wants to see Reg for the man that he is. Her head is in the clouds with them."

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Just listening is helping," Adam winks back at her. "Enough about me and my problem's, how are you? I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner, I wanted to give you, Shane and Jacob space."

"I appreciate that and I know you've been thinking about my family," Natasha replies to him. "Jacob seems to be getting stronger every day, which is amazing. I was really scared that because he was so premature he wouldn't be okay. But his lungs are developing nicely, the doctors tell me."

"And…" Adam begins to say back to her. "I sense that there's tension between you and Shane."

Natasha looks back at him and sighs heavily as she thinks about how Shane took the Chief of Staff position at the hospital, despite her having reservations and Jacob being in ICU. "There is tension," she admits back to him. "He decided to take the Chief of Staff position."

"Wait, what?" Adam asks her, surprised by her admission. "I thought you were going to tell him that you didn't want him to take the job."

"Oh, I've told him time and time again," Natasha informs him. "What I thought obviously didn't matter."

"Wow, I'm so sorry Natasha," Adam relies to her, surprised by what is he hearing. "I didn't think he'd actually go through with it, not after you've expressed concern."

"How about we ditch this gross coffee and you can meet Jacob?" she suggests to him, changing the topic. "I'm sure he'll be sleeping but you can meet my son."

"I'd love that," Adam smiles back to her, thinking a change of scenery would be good for both of them.

Scene Two - Harbour Hospital; Baltimore

Helen and Barbara sit in the small waiting room as they wait to hear some kind of news update about Reg. Helen looks over at her mother as she recalls how the three of them were having tea at her parent's house when Reg started to cough before he passed out. Barbara called 9-1-1 and now they are waiting to hear some kind of information regarding her father. Helen hopes that Reg is okay; she can't lose her father when she just found him again. A part of her wonders if she should call Adam; she knows that Adam and Reg didn't get along but right now she would love nothing more to feel her husband's arms around her, telling her that everything will be okay.

"Can I get you anything Mom?" Helen asks as she looks over at Barbara, who looks exhausted.

Barbara's eyes are damp from tears that she has shed. She is holding a rosary, praying that her husband is okay. "I just want to know that my husband is going to be okay," she whispers back to Helen. "I keep praying that he will pull through this. Why haven't we heard anything yet?"

"We don't know what's wrong yet Mom," Helen reminds her. "I'm sure that the doctor will be back very shortly and we will learn that it was nothing."

"I hope you're right," Barbara nods back to her as she feels her eyes swell with more water. She looks over at Helen. "Thank you for being here. I'm glad I'm not alone right now."

"You will never be alone again Mom," Helen says back to her.

Before Barbara can say anything else, a doctor comes into the waiting room. "Doctor, how is my husband?" Barbara asks as she and Helen stand up and look at the doctor.

"He's stable now," the doctor says back to them.

"What happened?" Helen asks him.

"Your father suffered from a minor stroke," the doctor reveals to them. "He should be okay but there are things that he should do to prevent another stroke or a more serious stroke."

Helen looks at Barbara as she has an idea in her head. "Can you excuse us for a moment," she tells the doctor as she pulls her mother aside. "I have an idea Mom and I want you to hear me out."

"What is it?" Barbara asks.

"Let's have Dad transferred back to Twin Peaks," Helen says surprising her mother. "You can stay with Adam, Dawn and I. I have a good friend who is a doctor and he can oversee Dad's treatments and everything. I think it would be for the best. We need our family to be together right now."

Barbara nods back to her. "Yes, yes, okay," she says to her daughter. "Let's go to Twin Peaks with your father."

Scene Three - Robertson Enterprises; Trenyce's Office

Trenyce sits at her desk looking over some of her recent sketches that she has done for the upcoming hospital gala. As part of the hospital gala, pieces of her latest design line will be featured and two pieces will be auctioned off. The hard part, for her, is deciding which pieces she wants to have auctioned off.

As she looks over the drawings, her mind is on the previous day when she broke down at Reese's gravesite. She was feeling extremely low about losing her friend but also her role in Chris' plan to get Andrew back. Chris is using Savannah in hopes of getting the child back. While she loves Andrew, she raised him for so long it's impossible for her not to love him, she has always been unsure of this plan and if it's worth it or not. With Daisy now asking questions as well, Trenyce feels like it's time to stop this game before it's too late.

"Knock, knock," a voice says at her door as she turns and sees Chris walk into her office. He closes the door behind himself. "I thought I'd stop by and give you an update on things."

Trenyce sighs and looks at the man that she thought was going to help her get her son back. "I don't know that I want to hear this update," Trenyce admits to him as she is unable to hide her feelings on the plan.

Chris smirks. "Please don't tell me that you're still questioning this plan," Chris says back to her. "It's working Trenyce. I'm getting so close to Savannah. It's only a matter of time…"

"Before what?" Trenyce asks him, frustrated that he doesn't seem to listen to her, growing frustrated that she is getting cold feet. "Getting her to marry you? Is that your end game? You've taken her to bed … I don't like how this is going to end."

"It's going to end with us getting Andrew back," he tells her as she stands up and moves to pour herself a glass of water. "Isn't that what you want?"

She shakes her head a little. "I don't know what I want anymore. I just know that I don't want anyone to get hurt."

"She told me she loved me," Chris reveals to Trenyce as she spins around to face him, her eyes wide open in surprise.

"What?" Trenyce gasps in shock.

"You heard me," Chris replies to her. "Savannah has fallen in love with me. Don't you see Trenyce? We are so close to getting everything we have ever wanted."

Trenyce shakes her head as he comes up to her and hugs her. "Trust me Trenyce, okay? I won't let anything come in the way of us getting our son back."

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

Daisy takes a sip of her coffee and smiles as she needed her caffeine fix. She turns to leave the coffeehouse as she has to run back to City Hall because she has an afternoon full of meetings. She has been enjoying going to work lately because the last thing she has wanted to focus on is Trenyce and whatever is going on with her niece. She just hopes that she is guiding her down the right path and that Trenyce isn't getting in over her head with anything she shouldn't be.

As she moves towards the door, she stops when she sees a man sitting at the bar window having a coffee and reviewing some notes in front of him. Daisy arches her eyebrow and realizes that it's Frederick Richardson. She looks at the man for a moment and realizes that while the man, up until very recently, was living with her at the Victors mansion, she hasn't even had a real conversation with him. The few times that she did see him, he seemed scattered and as though he wanted to keep his distance from her.

"Well, I suppose it's for the best," she says to herself. "If he's anything like Meggan, I probably don't want to get to know him."

She moves past him and leaves the coffeehouse. From his seat, Frederick can see Daisy walk outside on her way back to City Hall. He does a double take to make sure it was her. He finds himself breathing a sigh of relief that she didn't approach him.

"I have to be more careful," he says to himself, knowing that he doesn't want to communicate with the mayor of Twin Peaks.

In the back booth, Cory looks across at Rebecca as she takes a sip of apple cinnamon tea. He called her and asked her to meet him at the coffeehouse because he hasn't been able to stop thinking about the previous day when the two shared a passionate kiss. He had felt their attraction building for some time as he saw her in her underwear and then her bikini but he also realizes that they crossed a line that they shouldn't have crossed. Cory is still very much in love with Robin, despite the fact that she is in the mental facility right now. He has to make Rebecca realize that they can't go down that path again, not now, not ever again.

"I'm glad you could take time out of your day to meet me today," Cory finally tells his sister in law as she purses her lips back to him.

"Of course," she says with a grin on her face. "I always have time when you call."

Cory arches his eyebrow thinking that the could be part of the problem. "I thought we should talk and get a few things straight."

"It sounds so serious," she says trying to lighten the mood.

"I think it is serious Rebecca," he says back to her. "It's very serious."

"Let me guess," Rebecca replies to him. "It's about the kiss we shared. You want to talk about that, don't you?"

Scene Five - Roboto; Bob's Office

Kim puts her hand on her large belly as she approaches the door to her husband's office. She is scared about what is about to happen but she has to do it; she has no choice. She recalls how after she fainted a few weeks earlier, the doctor warned her not to have any more stress in her pregnancy. However, that has been thrown out the window as Bob has revealed that he knows that she slept with Tyler; he also revealed that he had a vasectomy which means that Tyler is the father of her baby. Kim is having a hard time believing this is all happening but she has to make sure that her husband knows that he is the one that she loves. She doesn't want their marriage to be over, in fact she wants the opposite to happen. She has no idea if that's possible knowing that Tyler, Dominick's son, fathered her baby.

She takes a deep breath and opens the door to his office. She sees Bob sitting at his desk looking over some files as she walks into the office. The door closing causes Bob to look up and see his very-pregnant wife walk into the office.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he says bitterly cold to her.

"I had to come and see you Bob. I couldn't leave things unsaid for another day," she says as she stands over his desk looking down on him.

He looks up and sighs. He can see the woman that he fell so deeply in love with but he has no idea how he will ever get over the betrayal of her sleeping with another man; not just any man, but his sworn enemy's son.

"I don't know what you think you can say that will change anything," he replies to her as he stands up from his desk and moves over to the bar to pour himself a brandy. "What you have done is unforgivable."

Kim shuts her eyes for a moment and tries to tell herself to remain strong. "I know it is. I'm not asking for you to forgive me. I understand what I did was wrong. I just hope you can understand that I never meant to hurt you. And I most certainly did not mean to sleep with Dominick's son. I had no idea who Tyler was, just you had no idea when you hired him."

Bob finishes drinking his brandy and he puts his glass down. "That doesn't mean it didn't happen Kimberly," he says, remaining surprisingly calm. "You did sleep with Tyler Richardson and now, you're pregnant with his child."

"I love you Bob. I want our marriage to work," she says to him as she bites her lower lip. "Please, please tell me that we have another chance. Please tell me that we can put this marriage back together."

Bob turns his back on her and looks out the window of his office. She starts to move closer to him but he puts his hand up causing her to stop. "Don't come any closer to me," he says, his back still to her. "I can't tell you what you want to hear. Not now and maybe not ever. I don't know if I can look at you the same way, not after everything that has happened."

"But I love you," she pleads with him as a tear falls down her cheek.

"I want you to leave," he says, still looking out the window. "I need to be alone."

Kim nods and wipes her eyes dry before she turns around and moves to the door. She puts her hand on her belly before she looks back at Bob. "I won't give up on us Bob. I still love you and I know that deep down, you still love me."

Bob shuts his eyes and sighs as he hears her leave, the door closing behind her. He opens them and takes another sip of his brandy.

Scene Six - The Sugarbowl

"How is this table?" Tyler asks Felicia as he opens a chair out for his mother to sit down on.

She sits and smiles as he sits across from her at a table. "This is perfect," she smiles back to him. "I'm so glad that you asked me out for coffee today."

"I thought it would be nice for you to get out of the house," he replies to her, knowing that she spends most of her time at the house and it's probably good for her to get out once in a while.

"I do spend a lot of time there so this is a nice treat to get to see my son," she says back to him. "You look like there's more on your mind though, then just wanting to get me out of the house."

Tyler gives her half a grin as he takes a drink of his coffee. "I never could keep anything from you."

"And you're not supposed to keep anything from your mother," she winks back to him. "Now tell me, what's going on?"

Tyler arches his eyebrow. "I was seeing this woman," he reveals to her, as her eyes light up with excitement. "It's not like that Mom. I shouldn't have gotten involved with her. She's married."

"Oh Tyler," Felicia gasps, shocked by what her son is telling her.

"I know, I know," he says back to her quickly. "It's one of those things that just sort of happened."

"And now what? Did she break your heart?"

Tyler shrugs. "There's still a lot of confusion but I just learned that I'm going to be a father. She's pregnant Mom."

Felicia covers her mouth as she gets water in her eyes, learning that she's going to be a grandmother again. "Oh Tyler," she says as she reaches over and grabs his hand. "You know what this means, don't you? It means you have to do anything you can to give that baby the best life possible. Go get her son, this woman … she needs to know that you're ready to give this baby the best life possible."

"And what about her husband?" Tyler asks her.

Felicia shrugs her shoulders. "Clearly something isn't right in the marriage if she turned to you in the first place," Felicia tells him. "And now that you have a baby to think about, that's what should come first."

Tyler nods his head back to her. "I think you're right Mom. I have to fight for my baby and this woman."

Trenyce moves to the coffee bar to put some cream and sugar into her coffee. After she had a visit from Chris, she needed a coffee to help her get through the rest of the day.

"Looks like you're having a better day today," Lukas says as he comes up behind her, also holding a coffee. He thinks back to the other day when he found Trenyce crying in the graveyard.

Trenyce looks over at Lukas and suddenly feels her cheeks turn red in embarrassment. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

"No need to apologize, people tend to be emotional when they are visiting loved ones that have passed away," he replies to her. "I just hope that you're doing better."

"I am, thank you," she says to him. "What were you doing in the graveyard, anyways?"

"This is going to sound weird," Lukas tells her with half a chuckle. "But I find it very peaceful to walk through graveyards. There's something about them."

"I can't judge you," she says back to him. "I do my share of weird things."

"So, you want to tell me what's going on with you? I know that you're upset that you lost your friend Reese recently, but it seems like there was something else troubling you," Lukas tells her as they move to the window bar seats.

Trenyce arches her eyebrow. "It's just … I don't know how to even say it."

"I bet I can guess," Lukas says back to her. "It's that Chris fellow, isn't it?"

Trenyce looks at him with intent. Could Lukas possibly know about Chris and his plan with Savannah? "I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean?"

"You have feelings for him, don't you Trenyce? You like Chris?" Lukas asks her as she freezes in her tracks.

"Yes, I do want to talk about the kiss," Cory tells Rebecca as they still sit in the back corner booth. "It's something I haven't been able to stop thinking about."

Rebecca smiles back to him, knowing that she wants him to be thinking about their kiss. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about it either," she admits back to him, licking her lips.

Cory sighs and looks over at her. "Look, Rebecca," he begins to tells her. "You're a beautiful woman, you have to know that," he continues to say to her. "But I love your sister, I love my wife. What happened between us, it can never happen again. We can only be friends. I hope you understand that."

Rebecca nods back to him. "Of course I do," she quickly says with a smile on her face. "I was going to tell you the exact same thing. We can't do anything that would hurt Robin."

"Exactly," Cory replies to her. "We have to always keep Robin and what her best interests are in her our mind."

"Good, well I'm glad we got that cleared up," Rebecca says back to him quickly. "I have to run though. I'm supposed to have a yoga class in a few minutes. See at home later for dinner?"

"Absolutely," Cory smiles to her. "And thanks for being so understanding."

Rebecca smiles as she leaves the coffeehouse. Once she's outside, she finds her cell phone and dials a number. "Hi Mom," she says to Melissa on the other end. "Yes, don't worry. Everything is going accordingly to plan just nicely."

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Wow, Natasha," Adam gushes as they look at Jacob through the glass wall as the baby is still in ICU and in his incubator. "He's precious. Small, but precious."

Natasha smiles to her friend. "You know what they say, good things come in small packages."

"And the doctors say that his lungs are developing well?" Adam asks her, unable to get over how tiny the baby is.

Natasha nods back to him. "Apparently each and every day they are getting stronger and stronger. They hope by the end of the week that they will be able to take him off the oxygen and he can breathe on his own."

"That's amazing news," Adam says as he comes up to her and pulls Natasha in to a hug. "Keep the faith, okay? I know things aren't going really well between you and Shane right now, but this little miracle, he will pull you two together."

Before Natasha can say anything, she hears a monitor start to beep rapidly. She exits the hug from Adam and looks into the ICU where Jacob is sleeping. His heart monitor is going crazy and making all sorts of noise.

"What's happening?" she asks as she grows frantic. "What's happening to my baby?" she asks again as doctors suddenly surround Jacob's incubator. "Please tell me! What's happening to my baby!" she cries.
