Scene One - The Wilkins Estate; Reese & Madeline's Home

"I'm so glad you could all make it today," Andy tells the living room full of friends and family, which include Kim, Johnny, Meggan, Daisy, Chris, Savannah, Donovan, Trenyce and Madeline. "I have put together a special surprise for Reese and wanted to you all to be a part of it."

"You certainly have our attention," Trenyce replies to her friend, wondering what he could have planned for Reese, who has been confined to bed rest as his cancer is slowly taking over his body. She hates that her two best friends have finally found each other again only to be torn apart by a horrible illness.

"Yes, what do you have planned for my brother?" Madeline asks him, wondering what the surprise is.

"I've asked Father Murphy over so he can marry Reese and I today," Andy reveals as the crowd gasps in pleasant surprise. "I want to marry Reese while we can. I want him to know how much I love him."

Madeline stands up from her spot on the sofa and gets tears in her eyes. She pulls Andy into a hug as tears stream down her face. "You really do love him, don't you?"

"More than anything else in the world," Andy replies to her, still hugging her. "I hope you're okay with this surprise?"

Madeline exits the embrace and looks at him as she wipes her eyes dry. "I am more than okay with this, I'm absolutely thrilled by this."

"Thank you," he says back to her. "I hope your mom and dad are watching us today."

Madeline nods back to him. "They'd be so proud of you for doing this for Reese. I know they would approve."

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Daisy asks Andy, as she interrupts his conversation with Madeline.

"Would you and Chris be able to go down and get some wine from the wine cellar? I've had the cooks prepare a light lunch afterwards and I'm sure some white wine would be nice if it was chilled," Andy tells her. "I know Vinny is picking up some flowers for me."

Daisy looks over at Chris. "What do you say Chris? Want to go get some chardonnay with me?"

"Lead the way," Chris grins over at Daisy, while Meggan happens to watch them go together as a sly grin comes across her face, who waits before they are out of the room before she stands up and follows them.

"I'm surprised they invited me today," Johnny tells Kim, as they sit beside each other on the sofa. He looks at his former lover and wishes that things could be different for them. He would be a much better companion to her, he believes.

"You shouldn't be," Kim replies to him. "You worked with Reese at Roboto. He seemed to like you."

"He's a great guy," Johnny says back to her. "My heart just breaks knowing that he is going to …"

"Don't finish that sentence," she says. "Not today. Today is about celebrating Andy and Reese's connection. Let's not think about the end result."

Johnny looks over at Kim into her eyes. "Yea, we should all be so lucky to find a connection like there's. One that's undeniable and one that is long lasting, one that feels real."

Kim gulps and feels herself blush, knowing that he is talking about the two of them. "I was lucky enough to find that with my husband. One day, you will find that too Johnny."

He arches his eyebrow as he looks back into her eyes. "I think I already have."

Daisy opens the door to the wine cellar and she moves inside. The cellar is larger than any wine cellar she has ever seen before, including the one that Vinny has at his mansion. She starts to look around trying to see where the white wine is located. Chris follows her into the wine cellar.

"This is a crazy wine cellar," he says to her, moving a cob-web out of his way, as he observes the space.

"Isn't it?" Daisy replies to him, still looking on the shelves for the white wine. "Preston and Olivia certainly had some collection."

"This place is bigger than my hotel room," Chris chuckles as he moves to the back of the cellar with Daisy.

While they continue to search for the white wine, Meggan sneaks down the stairs and peers into the cellar. Daisy nor Chris see her, so she moves back out of the cellar and closes the door, locking it behind her.

"We'll see how Vinny feels about you and Chris after he knows you spent hours with him," Meggan says to herself with a slight grin, hoping that this will create problems for Vinny and Daisy.

"What was that?" Daisy asks Chris, as she looks back at him, as she can hear the door close.

He shrugs before he turns back and notices the closed door. "Ah, damn," he said rushing back and trying to open the door. "The door must have closed. We are locked in!"

"What?" Daisy asks horrified. "Let me try my cellphone," she says reaching into her pocket. "Great, no service down here."

"Looks like we will have a few minutes together," Chris replies to her, looking at his ex-wife. "Someone will be down shortly when they realize we aren't at the wedding."

"I hope you're right," she quickly says back to her, hoping for the best. The last thing she wants is to be trapped in the wine cellar.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Trenyce asks Savannah, who is putting together some bouquets of the flowers that Vinny just arrived with. Trenyce knows that she and Savannah came to a sort of understanding when they were visiting Reese the previous day but she'd like to make sure that they are on the same page, even though Trenyce knows that Chris is using her to try to get Andrew back. She has asked Chris to end his plan with Savannah, to no avail.

"I'm alright," Savannah replies as she continues to fix the bouquet in front of her. "Lovely gesture on Andy's part. Reese will absolutely love this wedding."

"I couldn't agree more," Trenyce replies to her. "Look, I was hoping we could finish our conversation about calling a truce. When we were here yesterday, I really meant what I said. I don't want any negativity between us."

"Neither do I," Savannah tells her as she stops and looks at Trenyce. "But if you think making nice to me will get you closer to Andrew, you have another thing coming. I think Andrew needs space from you and Chris right now. He's really starting to adjust now."

"I couldn't agree more," Trenyce admits to her. "I was wrong to go after him … I just felt lost. I still love him very much."

"I can tell," Savannah tells her. "Maybe one day we can all be friends. In the meantime, I accept your truce."

"Thank you Savannah," Trenyce smiles back to her, wondering how she can convince Chris to end this plan before it blows up in their faces.

***

"Have you seen Daisy?" Vinny asks Meggan, who is sitting in the living room drinking some sparkling water. He hasn't seen his fiancé since he arrived with the flowers a short time ago.

Meggan looks up at him. "I haven't," she lies to him. "The flowers you got were beautiful."

"I can't take the credit," Vinny winks back at her. "Andy had prearranged for them. I was just the delivery man. But that's weird that you haven't seen Daisy. Her car is here, she must be here somewhere."

"Come to think of it, I think she was with Chris last time I saw her," Meggan tells him, as his eyes open wider, knowing that she's dropping seeds of doubt in his mind. "Excuse me, I would like another glass of water."

***

Donovan moves into the kitchen when he hears his cell phone ring. He was hoping that he had shut it off because he doesn't want any distractions from the wedding today but obviously he was wrong.

"Hello," he says into his telephone.

"Donovan, it's your Mother," Eva says back to her son.

"Oh hi," he tells her. "I can't really talk right now Mom."

"This will only take a moment," she replies to him. "I'm calling on behalf of Dominick and Robertson Enterprises."

Donovan arches his eyebrow. "How is he doing? I'm sure losing Leah hasn't been easy on him."

"It hasn't, but he is surviving. Look, darling, I'm calling because I'm hosting the annual hospital auction gala this year and Dominick has agreed to let Robertson Enterprises be the main sponsor."

"That's a great idea."

"Yes, well, Dominick would like you to be the executive from Robertson that oversees the gala from start to finish," Eva informs Donovan.

"I can do that, want to meet tomorrow so we can over things?" Donovan asks his mother.

"I'm afraid I won't be going over the minor details. You will have to arrange to see Craig Benton, he will be looking after most of the details," Eva relays the information to him.

Donovan feels his heart sink his chest. He has to work with Craig; the man who had been asking him out for weeks, only to tell Donovan he was seeing someone new when Donovan finally agreed. He wasn't' expecting that but he can't very well back down now.

"Donovan, are you still there?" Eva asks her son when he doesn't reply.

"I'm here Mom," Donovan finally says. "I'll be in touch with Craig."

Andy opens the door to Reese's bedroom and walks in. He moves to Reese's bed, where he is laying down. Andy watches him for a moment; he is so pale and weak looking, it breaks Andy's heart to see Reese in this state. Reese finally stirs and opens his eyes to see Andy next to him.

"Hey," he says in a whispered voice. "I was wondering when I'd see you today."

Andy smiles to him and moves closer to him. "How are you feeling today?"

"Not bad. Tired, but I'll manage. I don't want to sleep all my days away," Reese tells him, looking him in the eyes. He feels weak but he wants to stay awake as much as he can … while he can.

"I hope you'll have enough energy for an hour or so," Andy replies with half a smile. "I have a surprise for you."

"A surprise? What is it?" Reese asks, his eyes lighting up as he's always loved surprises.

"A wedding."

"Who is getting married?" Reese asks him, confused by what Andy revealed to him.

"We are," Andy beams back to him. "What do you say? Want to become my husband today?"

Scene Two - The Baltimore Airport

"That flight wasn't too bad," Helen says to Adam and Dawn as they walk into the airport in Baltimore. The family travelled to Baltimore to visit Helen's newly found parents, Reg and Barbara. Helen is feeling a little nervous as this is the first time Adam and Dawn will be meeting her parents. In reality, it's only the second time she's meeting them, although it's in large part because she can't remember her past life.

"I can't get over that they called that Jello," Dawn quips, thinking back to her lunch on the plane.

Adam chuckles. "If you're hungry, we can stop and grab a bite before we head to Reg and Barbara's."

"No, no," Helen quickly replies to him. "Knowing my Mother, she has prepared a huge feast for us to enjoy. She was really looking forward to hosting us."

"I can't believe that I am going to be meeting my Grandparents for the first time in a few minutes," Dawn tells her parents. "Are they meeting us here?"

"No, we will meet them at their place. I don't think my Father likes to travel too much," Helen reveals to them, as they wait for their baggage to come. "And when I say travel, I mean leave the house."

"Are you okay?" Adam asks Helen, who seems to be a little nervous.

She turns to her husband and daughter and puts a little smile on her face. "I'm fine," she says taking a deep breath. "Just a little apprehensive. I want this to go perfectly well."

"It will Mom," Dawn tries to reassure her. "Meeting Grandma and Grandpa will be awesome."

"I hope you're right my love," Helen says back to her, hoping that everything will work out perfectly.

Scene Three - The Wilkins Estate; Reese & Madeline's Home

Daisy and Chris sit across from each other waiting for someone to realize that they are missing and trapped in the wine cellar. She realizes that Vinny has arrived by now and must be looking for her; she just hopes he isn't too upset when he finds her trapped with her ex-husband.

"Are you happy that you're back in Twin Peaks?" Daisy asks him, knowing that she called him back when Trenyce took Savannah to court for custody of Andrew, trying to make small talk with him.

Chris looks up at her and shrugs a little. "It's funny how you don't think you miss a place until you go back," Chris tells her. "I didn't realize how much I love it here until I was back. It's not as big as Boston but Twin Peaks has its perks."

"Like?"

"Like you, Trenyce, Andrew … I don't have much family, as you know, and you guys have always been my family to me," Chris reveals to her. "And before you say it, I'm not suggesting that you and I should try things again. I know that you're happy with Vinny and I respect that."

Daisy watches him for a moment, not expecting him to say that to her. "Well, thank you, I do appreciate that Vinny."

"You know Daisy, it took me a long time to get over you," Chris admits to her. "I kept making the same mistakes over and over again with women. When Greta and I finally called it off, I realized that I was trying to replace you and that's just impossible."

"Chris…"

"No, please let me finish," Chris says back to her. "You are an amazing woman, a woman that I never treated right. The fact that you still talk to me and are nice to me is a testament of your character. After Greta and I broke up, I really tried to look within myself and have become a new man. I'm okay with us being friends. I really am, I'm just grateful that you're in my life."

Daisy moves over and hugs him. "I'm glad that you're back in Twin Peaks as well," she tells him as they exit their embrace. "But that was nice to hear."

She looks over when she hears the door unlock. She stands up and sees Vinny open the door. "Oh my God! Thank goodness you found us," she says as she rushes over and hugs Vinny, thrilled to have been saved.

Vinny looks down at Chris, who slowly stands up. "I'm glad I found you too," he replies to her. "You can explain what happened afterwards, the wedding is about to begin."

***

Reese continues lay in the bed and Andy sits in a chair next to him. The guests all stand further back from the bed, watching Andy and Reese. Father Murphy is sitting in a chair on the other side of Reese's bed.

"Thank you for agreeing to do this today Father," Andy tells him, as he looks over at the priest before looking at Reese. "We know this isn't exactly conventional."

"It's my pleasure," Father Murphy tells them both. "And for what it's worth Reese, I can feel Olivia and Preston here today."

"I appreciate that Father," Reese replies to him, closing his eyes for a quick moment of rest.

"Shall we begin?" Father Murphy asks as Andy and Reese nod their heads.

"Dearly beloved," Father Murphy begins the ceremony. "We are gathered here today to join these two people in holy matrimony. Together, they have realized that they are better than when they are singular. Together, they have realized that they love each other and respect each other. Together, they will build a union based on trust and admiration."

Andy looks at Reese and feels himself get tears in his eyes. "They have decided to say their own vows to each other, so we will start with Andy," Father Murphy announces to everyone.

Andy clears his throat before he grabs Reese's hands. "I'm sorry in advance if I cry," he says with half a chuckle. "But it would only be because of the way that I feel for you Reese," Andy continues to say. "When I first came out of the closet, it was because I had met you. You helped define me as not only a gay man, but a man in this life. Your love was my first and my strongest. As we are here today, I have never felt closer to you or want you more. You're my…" he says as he chokes on his words. "Everything. I love you so much very."

"And Reese," Father Murphy says as he leans down and gives Reese some water before he continues on.

"This has always been a dream of mine," Reese begins to say, his voice a little raspy. "To have a handsome man ask me to marry me. I thought it would be different, though. I thought it would be in a church and my parents would be there. My sister would be my grooms maid and the it would be a beautiful sunny day. Not everything turned out that way because life gets in the way," Reese says slowly, his voice still in a whisper as he is weak. "But that's part of the journey of life. Figuring it out as it happens and Andy, there's no one that I would rather figure this life out with. I love you more than I can tell you and the fact that you're giving me this now, it means so much to me." Reese starts to choke a little, so Andy gives him so more water.

"I think that's enough," Andy whispers to him, knowing that Reese may have been over doing it.

Father Murphy instructs the men to exchange rings. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you partners in life! You may kiss one another," Father Murphy smiles to them as Andy leans in and gives his new husband a quick kiss on the lips as the crowd claps.

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

"Thanks for agreeing to meet me Mom," Natasha says to Eva as she slides into the booth of the coffeehouse, even though her growing belly makes it more difficult to sit in the booth. "Can I get you a coffee or a tea?"

Eva shakes her head no, smiling that she is getting to see her daughter. "This is just so nice. We really don't get to see each other enough. How are things with the baby?"

Natasha moves a piece of her hair behind her ear. "I know, life is always so busy it seems. And everything is fine, I just feel so big!"

"We really have to make time, especially now that you're with that baby," Eva grins, thrilled that she will be a Grandmother in a few months. "You look beautiful, darling."

"I know," Natasha tells her. "It's coming sooner than you think. And, thank you for that."

Eva laughs. "I can't wait, I really can't. Now, what was this about? On the telephone it seemed like you wanted more than just to chit chat."

Natasha sighs and looks back at her Mother. "I've never been able to keep anything from you," Natasha tells her.

"I'm your Mother, you're not supposed to keep things from me. Tell me, what's going on?"

Natasha nods back to her. "It's about the Chief of Staff position at the hospital," Natasha reveals to her. "I know that you're planning to leave in November."

"I am, but that's not public knowledge yet," Eva informs her.

"You're forgetting that I'm married to a doctor," Natasha replies with a chuckle. "And that's the problem. I don't want Shane to apply for the job. I'm really scared that it will take all his time and he won't be there for me or the baby. I know it's selfish but it's how I feel."

"It is selfish," Eva tells her back. "But I would be just as apprehensive if I was your shoes. Natasha, what you have to realize is that this is Shane's decision," Eva continues to tell her. "If you husband wants to move up in his career, you really have to support him. If you don't, he will resent you."

Natasha sighs, knowing that she is right. Still, Natasha can't shake the feeling that this isn't the best time for Shane to take the position. "I appreciate you being honest with me Mom."

"That's what Mother's are for," Eva smiles back to her. "Be there for Shane, Natasha."

Scene Five - The Executive Hotel, Suite 302

"I can't believe you were stuck in the wine cellar," Savannah tells Chris as they enter his hotel room. She agreed to come over to his place for some wine after the guests left the wedding, which was almost immediately after the ceremony as Reese needed his rest.

Chris shakes his head in disbelief. "It's an old house, I'm sure the door just closed. Thankfully, we weren't down there for a very long time."

"Vinny saved the day," Savannah chuckles as Chris opens a bottle of wine and pours two glasses. "The wedding was beautiful."

"And so tragic," Chris tells her as he passes her a glass of wine. "I feel so bad for Andy. I've known him since he was in high school. He and Reese have always been together in some way. I don't know how he will handle losing Reese."

"I'm still hoping for a miracle," Savannah admits to him. "I know it's a long shot, but I have to believe."

"You know what it's teaching me?" Chris asks her. "I mean, this Reese having cancer ordeal … it's teaching me to not take anything for granted and to live life for today because you never know what tomorrow holds."

"That's a good philosophy," she replies to him. "So, how are you going to live for today?"

"I thought I'd start here," he says with a grin as he leans in and kisses her. The kiss quickly turns passionately and she starts to button his shirt. "Are you sure?" he asks her as he kisses her again.

"I'm sure," she replies. "Let's live for today."

Scene Six - The Wilkins Estate; Reese & Madeline's Home

"I hope you can get some rest," Andy tells Reese, after he finishes drinking some more water. The guests have cleared out and the day is getting back to normal.

"Thank you," Reese says back to him. "I can't believe that we are actually married."

"Now and forever Reese," Andy replies to him.

"Can you do me a favor?" Reese asks him as Andy nods back to him. "Come lay with me for a little while. I want to be closer to my husband."

Andy lets a tear fall down his cheek as he crawls into bed and holds Reese.

"I love you Andy," Reese whispers as he starts to fall asleep.

"I love you too Reese, my beautiful husband," Andy replies to him, trying to hold himself together, at least until Reese falls asleep.
