Scene One - Roboto; Reese's Office

Reese closes some files on his desk and turns around to put them in the filing cabinet behind him. He sighs as he recalls his conversation with Andy the previous evening, knowing that it was extremely difficult for him to have. The conversation about his cancer; the words still feel unreal to him, "I have cancer", they are real but his mind is still racing about them. He shuts his eyes for a moment.

[FLASH]

"What do you mean you have leukemia?" Andy asks shocked by what Reese has just revealed to him. "This doesn't make any sense. How is this possible?"

Reese turns his back to his lover and covers his mouth with his hand as he fights some tears in his eyes. "It's this flu bug that I've been having. It isn't a flu bug at all."

"Is Shane sure?" Andy asks him, as Reese nods back to his boyfriend. Andy rushes up to his boyfriend and hugs him. "We'll get through this Reese. We can make it through this together."

Reese finally lets a tear fall from his eye. "I'm scared Andy. I'm so scared."

"I know you are," Andy tells him. "Anything you need, I am here for you."

"I need you," Reese replies to him slowly.

[FLASH]

Reese closes his eyes as he leans back into his chair. He could tell that Andy was just as scared as he is. The fact that he has cancer, this rare form of leukemia that is in his blood stream, could be the end of his life. "I still have so much living that I want to do. There's so much I want to accomplish," he whispers to himself. "I have to stay strong and I have to stay positive. I will get through this."

He stops talking to himself when he hears his telephone ring. He quickly picks it up. "Hello … Andy, hey, what's up? … Oh, you did? Yea, I guess I am ready to tell Madeline … Yup, okay, see you soon."

Reese hangs up his phone knowing that he has to get over to the house so he can tell Madeline the news about his cancer. He isn't looking forward to it though. He knows that his sister will probably react far worse than Andy did.

He stands up and is startled when his office door opens. Johnny comes into his office carrying a briefcase. Reese watches Johnny for a moment, who didn't see Reese in the office.

"Johnny? What are you doing in here?" Reese asks him as Johnny turns around and turns a shade of red.

"I…I'm sorry," Johnny stutters. "I didn't think you were in the office today."

Reese arches his eyebrow. "So then, why are you in my office?"

Johnny quickly lifts his brief case. "I was going to leave you that report that I had been working on," he replies as fast as he can. "I'll leave it and be on my way."

Reese watches Johnny leave a folder on his desk and quickly leave. He shakes his head thinking something about the entire situation seemed odd, but he knows he will have to worry about that later. He has to get home so he can tell Madeline the news about his cancer.

Scene Two - MW Investigations

"Well, isn't that interesting," Madeline says looking over some documents that are on her desk. She looks up from the document and starts typing into her computer. In front of her are the telephone records from Helen's apartment when she was living in White Rock years ago. She had been working with the telephone company in hopes of getting the records for some time now as Helen is desperately trying to uncover if she has any family that she can't remember, thanks for the accident that erased her memory. Finally, the telephone company was able to pull the records and sent them over to Madeline.

Madeline looks closely at the screen of her computer and she gets a slight grin on her face. "This could be the break that we've been waiting for," she whispers to herself as she reaches over and picks up her telephone.

She quickly dials a number. "Helen, its Madeline."

"Madeline? How are you?" Helen says into the phone, from her house.

"I'm good. Look, I wanted to give you a quick update on your case."

Helen's eyes open wider as she turns and looks at Adam, who is sitting on the sofa. "I'm listening Madeline. What have you uncovered?"

"The telephone company has sent me your telephone records. I'm looking at some common numbers and placing their addresses. I just wanted to let you know that this could be the lead that we have been waiting for."

"That's fantastic news!" Helen replies to the PI. "Please keep me posted on anything you uncover. I will share the information with Adam."

"I will Helen. And believe me, I won't give up until I find out the entire truth for you," Madeline tells her client. "We'll be in touch."

She puts the telephone down feeling satisfied. She loves the part of her job where she knows that she is closing in on what the customer is seeking. "I will find the truth for you Helen. I know I will."

Before she can continue to look into the records, her cell phone starts to ring. "Who could that be?" she asks herself as she pulls her phone out of her purse. "Hello? … Andy, hey, what's up? … Meet you and Reese at the house? Can this wait? … Okay, if it's important, of course I will be there. I will see you soon."

She hangs up the phone and looks up wondering what her brother and his boyfriend could possibly have to tell her that is so important that she has to drop everything in the middle of the day. "Only one way to find out," she says to herself as she stands up and collects her things before exiting the office.

Scene Three - Dominick's Townhouse

Cory opens the door to the townhouse using the key that Dominick provided him after Robin moved into the townhouse a few weeks earlier. Dominick decided that it would be best if Cory had access to his house since Robin was staying there. Dominick understands why Robin wanted to move out of the Penthouse, but he didn't want there to be any way for the couple to be apart.

"Dominick?" he calls out, but no one answers. Cory isn't surprised that Dominick isn't at home considering it is the middle of the afternoon and Dominick runs a huge corporation. "This is good, it will give me and Robin some alone time."

He moves into the living room and sees Robin appear at the stairs. "Robin, hi," he says to his wife, who slowly comes down the stairs.

"Hi Cory," she says in a quiet voice.

"How have you been? You know, I've been missing you at home."

Robin moves some hair behind her ear. "That's nice to hear. I do miss being at home with you as well, but Daddy has been so accommodating to me and the baby."

Cory freezes. "What did you just say?"

Robin shakes her head. "Nothing. I said Daddy has been very welcoming to me. What did you think I said?"

Cory comes up to his wife and pulls her into an embrace. "Nothing," he whispers into ear, knowing that if he says anything it will escalate into a fight and that's the last thing he wants. He realizes, however, that a part of Robin is still suffering deeply from the loss of their daughter. "I just want to hold you and tell you that I love you."

"Oh Cory, I love you too."

They exit their embrace and he looks at her. He moves in and kisses her forehead. "Do you think you're ready to come home?"

Robin quickly shakes her head no. "I think the space is still good for us. You understand, right?"

"Of course baby. You take all the time you need. I just want you to heal and get back to being yourself."

Robin nods and looks off. "Did you hear that? I better go check on her. I don't want to her cry for very long."

Cory watches as Robin walks back up the stairs. He bites his lower lip as he fights crying; he doesn't know how much more of seeing Robin believe their child is still alive he can bare. It is clear that she needs help, but how he can possibly get her to see such things?

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

Natasha smiles at the barista as she gets passed her mocha. Natasha places a lid on her hot drink and takes a sip before she turns around looking around the coffee house before she starts to walk towards the exit. She freezes though when she sees a woman sitting in a stool that is looking outside.

"It can't be, can it?" Natasha asks herself as she approaches the woman. "Rebecca?" she calls out as Rebecca turns around and sees Natasha.

"Natasha," Rebecca smiles as she give Natasha a quick hug. "So nice to see you."

Natasha exits the embrace and looks at her. "You too. I had no idea you were back in town. When did you get here?"

"Just the other day," Rebecca tells her. "I couldn't stay away any longer. Not after everything Robin has been through this past year. I'm actually embarrassed it took me so long to get here."

"I'm sure she appreciates the fact that you're here now," Natasha says back to her.

"I haven't even seen her yet. I guess she's slipping away and she moved in with Dominick. I'm staying with Cory, though."

"I see," Natasha replies to her. "Where's Jason?"

Rebecca gulps. She knew that when she came back to town she would have to explain repeatedly that she and Jason have decided to go separate ways. Everyone in Twin Peaks will be surprised because she and Jason have been solid for so long. In this case, she knows that Jason and Natasha were close because Jason is the man that first found Natasha all those years ago when Natasha's car went over the bridge and Natasha was presumed dead.

"Jason and I decided to take a break," Rebecca finally says back to Natasha. "But I think the break will be longer than just a break."

Natasha shakes her head in disbelief. "I'm so sorry. With everything going on, I hadn't talked to him in a while. I had no idea. Can I do anything?"

"I appreciate that, but I think being here and away from the situation is what's best for me right now," Rebecca replies to her.

Natasha nods. "Well, take care, I have to get back to the office. It was nice seeing you though."

"Thanks Natasha, you too."

"I can't believe that you think Felicia is this out of control," Robbie tells Leah as they sit together in the back booth together. The ex's got together this afternoon so Leah could tell him the latest with Felicia and to break the news that Paige has been sent to a school in Europe. She is dreading telling Robbie that news because she is worried that he will be upset that he didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Paige.

Leah sighs and looks at Robbie. "I didn't think it was this bad either but accordingly to Jeff, he had never seen my Mom so out of control. I'm worried about her."

Robbie nods his head back to her. "Are you sure that Felicia staying at the house is a good idea? I mean, what if it had been Paige that found her and not Jeff?"

"We thought of that which is why we made a decision," Leah says back to him as Robbie arches his eyebrow. "We sent Paige to a boarding school in Europe."

Robbie's eyes open in surprise. This news was the last thing he expected to hear from his ex-wife. "I can't believe this," he says slowly to her. "I wish I had gotten the chance to say goodbye to her."

"I know, I feel awful about that," Leah replies to him. "Everything happened so quickly, you know? Part of the reason I asked you here today so was I could at least tell you this news in person. I know that we have started to make amends and I hope that this doesn't change that."

Robbie looks back at her and grabs her hand. "I'm not upset with your decision Leah. I know that you are only doing what's best for Paige. Let me know the minute she gets home though, okay? I want to welcome her home."

"I promise you, you'll be one of the first to see her when she gets home."

Robbie nods back to her. "And Leah, if I can help with any part of getting Felicia stable, let me know. I will help in any way possible."

At the front of the coffeehouse, Donovan feels his heart fall into his stomach at the sight of Robbie, his sister's boyfriend, holding hands with his ex-wife. He turns around before either one of them can see him and he exits the coffeehouse. "Oh Victoria," he whispers outside. "How am I going to break this news to you?"

"I'm glad we have this time to catch up, it seems like we haven't had much alone time lately," Eva smiles over to Dominick as they sit across from each other drinking a hot coffee.

Dominick arches his eyebrow back to her. "I wasn't sure you had wanted to see me lately," he admits to her, thinking back to how Eva was upset when Felicia first came back to town and she was worried that Felicia would want her marriage to Dominick work. "I've been so focused on this Felicia mess."

Eva sighs and knows that she was upset with Felicia being back in town. It was more about the fact that Felicia admitted that she wanted her marriage to Dominick work; the last thing Eva wants to be is a home wrecker. "I'm still not sure how I feel about Felicia being back. I don't want to hurt that woman any more than she already has been."

"That's not for you to worry about Eva," Dominick tells her. "Felicia has already proven herself to be unwell. So much so that Leah and Jeff have sent Paige to Europe until Felicia is stable once again."

"It's that bad?" Eva asks, shocked by the update.

"We don't want to take any risks with Paige," he replies to her. "So, when Felicia says she wants our marriage to work, you have to realize that she doesn't even know what she is saying most of the time. What you and I have, that is real."

Eva smiles back to him. "I do love you Dominick."

"And I love you," he says back to her. "Now, what is going on with you? How are things at the hospital?"

Eva sighs and thinks about the current state of things at TPGH. She knows that something odd is occurring with the high amount of elderly patients dying; she is so alarmed by it that she has asked Madeline to investigate the matter so she can get to the bottom of it.

"There are things that are a little out of the ordinary right now," she begins to tell him. "There are some high numbers of patients that are dying in the hospital. I'm not sure why or the cause of this yet, but I will uncover it. I have to ensure that nothing corrupt is happening."

"Sounds like you can handle it," Dominick replies to her, as he arches his eyebrow.

"I know I can," Eva says back to him. "But if I am honest with you Dominick, I'm growing tired."

"Tired? What do you mean?"

Eva looks up from her coffee into his eyes. "I'm thinking of not extending my contract when it expires in November. I may leave the hospital."

Scene Five - Roboto; Bob's Office

Bob sits at his desk tapping his pen on the desk. He has been waiting most of the day to hear from one of his workers. He called him the other day after he received the latest shipment of replacement pills for Felicia. No one knows that he has replaced Felicia's medication, but he also realizes that he has to do this because he has to get Felicia on board to carry out his plan. A sane woman wouldn't hurt her family; an unstable woman mostly certainly would … and will.

He stands up and walks towards the window. He checks his watch before he folds his arms and lets out a heavy sigh.

"I should have heard something by now," he whispers to himself as he turns around walks over to his bar. He pours himself a brandy and takes a long sip of it.

"By replacing Felicia's medication, she will slowly go off the deep end and therefore help me carry out my plan by placing Leah and Paige in danger. This will make Dominick Robertson realize that he can't mess with me or my family. He will live to regret the day that he slept with my wife, my dearest Sofia."

He finishes drinking his brandy when he hears his telephone ring. He walks over to his phone and picks it up. "Bob Calimo … Finally, I was beginning to worry that you had forgotten what I had asked of you … So you're saying it's done? Good, that's very good news … Yes, we'll be in touch."

Bob hangs up the phone and walks back over to the bar. He pours himself another brandy and gets a slight grin on his face. "It shouldn't be too much longer now," he says to himself as he drinks his brandy.

Meanwhile, at the Robertson house, Felicia enters her bedroom. She looks at her watch and realizes that it's time to take her medication. She walks over to her dresser and finds her pill bottle. After placing two pills in her hand, she swallows them down with some water.

"There, I feel better already," she says to herself as she puts her glass of water down.

Scene Six - The Wilkins Estate

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Andy asks Reese as they stand in the living room of Reese's grand house.

Reese looks at his lover and feels the blood drain from his face. He shakes his head as he already feels some tears form in his eyes. "How am I ever going to be ready to tell my sister that I have leukemia?"

Andy moves up to Reese and hugs him. As soon as Reese feels Andy's embrace, tears fall from his eyes. "I'm trying to be strong Andy, but I feel so weak."

"I'm right here for you Reese," Andy whispers into his ear. "You will not go through this alone. I promise you this."

"Am I interrupting something?" Madeline asks as she stands in the entrance way to the living room.

Reese wipes his eyes dry and smiles to his sister. "Of course not," he says to her. "We've been waiting for you."

"This seems serious," Madeline replies to them. "Is everything okay?"

"I'd like you to come sit with me," Reese tells her as he moves to the sofa. Madeline follows him and sits next to him. "You know that I've been struggling with a flu bug the last few months."

Madeline nods her head as Andy comes and sits behind Reese. "Are you better? It seems like a funny thing to call me away from work to tell me."

Reese shakes his head. "Please just listen Maddie. This is hard for me to say, so I just have to say it."

"You're scaring me Reese," Madeline says to her brother.

"I have cancer," Reese spits out.

Madeline shakes her head and starts to cry. "What? How is this possible?"

"It's a rare form of leukemia. It's in my blood cells. The doctors, they want me to start chemo therapy almost immediately. They believe that they can get it to a point of controllability," Reese informs Madeline.

Madeline pulls him into a hug and holds her brother. "I will help you get through this. Together, we will fight this. I won't lose you the way we lost Mom and Dad."

"I'm not ready to die Madeline," he says back to her as he starts to cry. "I need you now more than ever."
