Scene One - The Pampa Grill

The Pampa Grill has been transformed into the scene of a New Year's Eve party where the citizens of Twin Peaks will ring in the New Year. There is a silver and gold theme at the party, so there are balloons in those colours as well as other party favors. Most of the tables in the center of the restaurant have been moved away, creating a large ballroom feel to the space. There are tables surrounding the middle dance floor so people can sit and mingle. Champagne is being served by waiters and there is a buffet food table for people to eat from.

Andy looks around the restaurant and is amazing at the transformation. When he first heard that the Pampa Grill was going to throw a New Year's party, he wasn't sure what it would be like, but he is impressed with the outcome. He only hopes that the evening doesn't have too much drama in it. After the last couple of weeks, he'd like nothing more than to ring in the New Year with some friends and family and without complication.

He recalls how he dumped Craig recently because his boyfriend cheated on him with Reese. While he was upset, he still believes that there must be something that continues to put him and Reese together in these situations. Since they were high school students, Reese and Andy have always been placed together in some kind of situation; sometimes good and sometimes bad.

Andy takes a drink of the champagne in his hands and wonders if Reese will be at the party this evening. He went to see his ex-boyfriend a few days ago and Reese was still under the weather. He hopes that it's nothing serious since the flu bug has been lingering for a few weeks now.

"You look so deep in thought for New Year's eve," a voice tells Andy as he finishes swallowing his champagne. "Penny for your thoughts."

Andy turns around and sees Craig standing next to him. "I guess I was just reflecting on the year that just went by. It seems like it went by pretty quickly."

Craig sighs and nods with his recent ex-lover. "It did go by quickly, too fast." Craig looks at Andy for a moment and feels his heart sink. He wishes that he could go back in time and erase sleeping with Reese; losing Andy was one of the worst things that happened to him. "It was a year where I made so many mistakes."

"We all made mistakes," Andy quickly replies to him, not realizing how his words have hurt Craig.

"I guess that means that we don't have a chance of getting back together? I thought maybe after some time away we could try to work on things again," Craig tells Andy, hoping that Andy has had a change of heart. He would like nothing more than to have another chance with his boyfriend.

Andy looks at Craig and gives him half a smile. "You're a great guy Craig, you really are. I believe you when you say you didn't mean to hurt me."

"Why do I get the feeling there's a but in there somewhere?"

Andy laughs a little. "But," he continues to say. "What we had is over. I don't think we can have another chance together. I'm sorry."

"Don't be," Craig replies quickly, trying to keep his emotions in check. "I have to pay for my mistakes. I do wish you a Happy New Year Andy."

"Happy New Year Craig," Andy says back to him as Craig walks away. Andy sighs hoping that he's done the right thing. He then looks around the party trying to find Reese; he'd like to see him tonight.

"Champagne?" Daisy asks Vinny as she approaches him in another corner of the Pampa Grill.

Vinny's mouth opens a little as Daisy walks towards him in a sparkly black dress. "You look amazing," he says still in awe of her beauty. "You are easily the most beautiful woman here tonight."

Daisy puts her hand on his chest and pulls him into kiss her. "You're too good to me," she tells him as they part from the kiss.

"I'm just being honest. I'm the luckiest man in the world."

"Well thank you," she blushes back to him. "How about a toast?"

Vinny picks up the champagne that she brought over to him and raises his glass. "And what shall we toast too?"

"A new year without pain and suffering? I think we've had enough of that to last us a life time this year," Daisy replies to him as she raises her glass to meet his, recalling the horrible Christmas morning she had with Savannah coming to collect Andrew away from Trenyce who was left devastated.

"I'll drink to that," he replies as they cheers and they each take a sip of the champagne. "How do you think Trenyce is doing? Christmas day couldn't have been easy on her, having to give up Andrew to Savannah."

Daisy sighs and wonders how her niece is holding up. She knows that Trenyce has been put through the ringer the last couple of months. First with finding out that Savannah is Andrew's biological mother, then finding out her real child was sold on the black market and finally being forced to hand over Andrew on Christmas day. It's more than anyone should ever have to go through.

Daisy snaps back out of it and looks at Vinny. "I honestly don't know. She's been keeping to herself since Christmas. It's just been so much for her to go through. I hope she comes out tonight."

"We just have to continue to be there for her," Vinny tells Daisy, who nods her head. "I've been thinking about something else. I haven't been able to get it out of my mind."

Daisy arches her eyebrow. "What have you been thinking about Vinny?"

Vinny looks at her with worry. "If Dave put together this baby switch, what else could he have set into motion before he died? What other secrets does my family have?"

Madeline circles the room holding a glass of champagne. She doesn't see any of her friends at the party. Most of the people she does see, she has hurt in the last year so she doesn't really want to socialize with them. As she walks around, she almost regrets coming to the party. This year hasn't exactly been her best year of her life. Her past has come back to haunt her and she now feels like an outsider in Twin Peaks.

She opens her purse and pulls out her phone. "I'll send Reese a text message and see if he's feeling better. Maybe I'll go home and we can watch the ball drop together on TV," she whispers to herself, knowing that Reese is still has the flu bug lingering.

She looks up after she pushes the send button and sees Will standing by himself across the room from her. She isn't sure if he has seen her or not. At first, she wonders if she should approach him; after all he was not happy with her when her role in the baby switch was revealed. However, he did stop by the house on Christmas day and they seemingly had a closer moment when they were both worried about Reese.

She finds herself moving towards her boyfriend hoping that they can start putting the pieces of their relationship back together. "Will, hi," she smiles as she approaches him. "Happy New Year."

"Same to you," he replies as he takes a drink of his champagne.

"I just spotted you," she quickly says back to him. "We could have coordinated this better and come together."

Will sighs and looks back at her. "I don't think that would have been a good idea."

"Why not? Aren't you having a good time?" Madeline asks him confused by his response.

"It's not that," he tells her. "I've been thinking a lot about you and I."

"Why do I get the feeling that I won't like this?" she asks him.

"I don't think we should see each other anymore," he whispers back at her. He says it quietly because he doesn't want to create a scene at the party. He just wants to end this Madeline. He can't forgive her for her role in the baby switch.

"But we shared a moment on Christmas day," she pleads with him, confused by Will's change of heart.

"It was Christmas," he replies to her. "I thought I was being respectful."

Madeline fights the tears in her eyes. "Right. Well, like I said to you earlier, Happy New Year."

Before Will can reply, Madeline has quickly walked off. She quickly walks to the front of the restaurant and asks for her coat from the coat check. I was right, she thinks to herself, I should have stayed home with Reese.

"I'm sorry I wasn't with you when all of this was going down," Andy tells Trenyce as they sit across from each other at a table in the corner of the restaurant. Trenyce just finished telling Andy the horror of the last few weeks in her life; discovering that Savannah is Andrew's biological mother and then having to give him up on Christmas day. It has been the worst few weeks of her entire life. She almost didn't want to come to the party tonight, but she thought getting out would be good for her.

"Don't worry about it," Trenyce says to him as she bites her lower lip, as she still gets emotional talking about it. "I know you've had your own stuff going on."

"That's no excuse," he quickly says back to her. "This is so much bigger than anything I have been going through. How are you?"

Trenyce shrugs her shoulders a little. "As well as to be expected," she tells him. "I just feel so hopeless about the entire situation. One day, I was happy with my son. The next, he was being ripped away from me. And why? Because of some crazy plan that had nothing to do with me. Dave wanted to hurt Vinny and Daisy."

"This is just so hard to wrap around my head," Andy tells her. "Have you seen or heard from Savannah since this all went down?"

Trenyce shakes her head no. "And I haven't called her," she informs him. "I don't know what to say or how to ask if I can see Andrew. And honestly, even if I did see Andrew, I don't know that I could let him go again."

Andy reaches over and grabs her hand. "I'm so sorry Trenyce."

"Thank you Andy," she responds getting teary. "I really appreciate you being here for me."

"Of course."

"Okay," she shakes her head trying to smile. "What happened with you and Craig? How did things end so quickly?"

Andy sighs and looks back at her. "Are you ready for this?"

"Ready for what?"

"He cheated on me," Andy reveals to Trenyce, whose eyes open wider in surprise. "With Reese, of all people."

"You have got to be kidding me?" Trenyce asks flabbergasted.

Andy nods back to her. "Surprisingly, I'm not even upset with Reese. I'm disappointed in Craig, but with Reese I feel like there's a bigger picture going on with us."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, why are we always thrown together?" Andy asks his friend. "You know, we were dating and happy, then we broke up. We started using each other to hurt each other. It's like …"

"You guys never really got over each other?" Trenyce asks him, finishing his sentence.

Andy looks at her wondering if what she is saying is true. Maybe he and Reese have never really gotten over each other. Maybe that's why they continued to pulled back into each other's orbits.

Before Andy can reply, Trenyce's cell phone rings. She pulls it out of her purse and looks at the number. "It's Savannah," Trenyce tells Andy before she answers her phone. "Hello? … Hi Savannah," Trenyce says slowly. "He's not sleeping? Oh … Yea, I guess I could stop by and see if I can help … Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes."

Trenyce hangs up the phone and looks at Andy. "Andrew isn't sleeping well. He keeps crying and asking for me."

Andy arches his eyebrow. "It must be pretty dire for Savannah to reach out to you."

"That's what I'm thinking," Trenyce replies. "Do you mind if I take off?"

"Not at all," Andy smiles to her. "I think I have somewhere else I'd rather be as well."

As they stand up, Trenyce moves to her friend. "Happy New Year Andy," she says to him.

"You too T, you too."

"This place looks amazing," Victoria observes of her surroundings as she looks around the ball room of the restaurant.

"It does," Robbie replies to her as he passes her a new glass of champagne. "But you look more amazing."

Victoria grins back at her lover and leans in and kisses him on the lips. "I love you Robbie."

"And I love you," Robbie replies as they their lips part. "It's been a pretty good year for us Vic, don't you think?"

Victoria thinks back to the last year and knows that they have grown so close in the last year. She can't really complain about that, in fact it was the bright spot for her in the last year. "I've had the most amazing year with you Robbie," she replies to him. "You know what we should do in 2015?"

"What's that?" he asks her with a grin on his face.

"We should go back to Italy. It was so nice being in such a romantic place with you. You know, just the two of us this time. We won't be looking for a killer or anything," she winks back over to him.

He laughs a little. "That would be amazing," he says to her. "Or maybe to France. Paris in the spring time is beautiful."

"That sounds great too," she nods her back to him. "As long as we are together, I think any vacation would be nice."

"That it would," he says to her. "Since you had a thought, can I tell you what my thought is?"

Victoria arches her eyebrow. "Of course you can," she tells him as she takes a drink of her champagne.

"I think it's time we live together," he tells her. "I'm practically always at your place anyways, why not make it official? Unless you think it's too soon."

Victoria's smile gets bigger on her face as she shakes her head no. "No, I don't think it's too soon. I'd love for you to move into my condo with me."

He smiles back at her as he kisses her on the lips. "See, 2015 is already a great year."

"How is Paige?" Leah asks Jeff, as he comes back over to her after he made a call to the babysitters to see how their daughter is doing. At first, Leah was skeptical about leaving their daughter alone on New Year's, but she and Jeff hadn't enjoyed a night out together in a long time. Their life has been turned upside down ever since it was revealed that Felicia is alive; now that she's staying at their house, they don't really have much alone time.

Jeff looks at his fiancé and grins. "She's good," he tells her as he picks up his champagne and takes a drink. "She's been asleep for an hour already."

Leah feels relieve settle over her. "Thank goodness. I called the house while you were checking on Paige. There was no answer, so I am guessing that my Mom is asleep already too."

"You're not upset are you?"

"Upset? Why would I be upset Jeff?" she asks him, wondering what he is talking about.

"That I didn't want Paige to be left alone with Felicia? I know she's your mother and Paige's grandmother," he starts to explain himself.

"I'm not upset at all," Leah interrupts him. "I think until we know exactly what's going on with Felicia's mental health, she shouldn't be alone with Paige. We are on the same page on that topic."

Jeff breathes a sigh of relief as he knows that he and Leah haven't exactly seen eye to eye on a few things lately. "I'm happy to hear that. I hope it hasn't come across that I'm not happy that your Mom is alive because I know it's a miracle for you Leah, I just … I'm tired of putting our life on hold because of it."

Leah nods back to him. "I know you and I thank you for your patience."

"You're welcome," he says back to her. "Maybe we can agree that in 2015, Felicia can get her own place? Even, if it's close to our house?"

Leah laughs a little. "Yes, Jeff," she continues to chuckle. "I think we can arrange that as well. And then, we can be married."

Jeff moves in and kisses her. "There's nothing I want more than to be your husband."

"Here's to making that happy in the New Year," Leah grins back at him as she picks up her glass to toast Jeff.

"Happy anniversary," Adam whispers into Helen's ear as they dance to a song on the dance floor, as he recalls that they got married on New Year 's Eve years ago. It was his favorite New Year's eve, but he's just biased because he got Helen to become his wife. Years later, they are still as much in love as ever and happily married.

"I had thought you had forgotten," Helen replies to him as she smiles back to him.

"I could never forget the day I married the most beautiful woman in the world."

Helen blushes a little and buries her face into his neck. "You're too good to me, I love you so."

"I love you too baby."

They continue to dance until the song ends. They leave the dance floor and each grab another glass of champagne. They find a table and sit across from each other. "I've been thinking about something," she reveals to him as he finishes his first mouthful of champagne. "And I hope that you'll agree to it with me."

Adam looks back at her, curious about what she has been thinking about. "You have my attention," he informs her.

"Well, we have hired Madeline to try to track down Cassie," she replies to him, knowing that they are trying to search for Cassie and Adam's child as well. "And I was thinking, maybe we could get her to look into finding someone else as well."

"Who else is missing?"

Helen sighs. "When I was locked in the cage, Cassie pretended that Casey was my brother. What if I have real siblings out there? What if I have a family out there that I can't remember?"

Adam nods his head back to her realizing where she is going with this. "So you'd like to ask Madeline to see if she can track down your family?"

"I know it may be a long shot because I can't remember any part of my past," Helen replies to him. "But if I do have a family out there, I would love to find them. I would love to be able to give Dawn a real family."

Adam reaches across the table and grabs Helen's hand. "If you want to try to find your family, then we can do that," he replies to her. "But I want you to brace yourself that we may not find anything."

Helen shakes her head back to him. "I know, but we'll never know unless we try, right?"

"Right," Adam replies to her. "Let's try then!"

"You mean it?" Helen asks him, thrilled that he is agreeing to this. "Oh Adam, I think 2015 will be the best year of our lives yet!"

Donovan watches Andy from across the ballroom. He recalls how he recently kissed Andy after Andy revealed that he and Craig had broken up. Donovan knows that he moved too quickly because Andy claimed he wasn't ready to move on. Donovan feels foolish for even thinking that Andy would be ready to move on so fast, but he had to try. He has had a crush on Andy for a while now and it's not often that Donovan opens himself up and allows him to feel something for someone else.

Donovan sighs heavily as he sees Andy grabbing his jacket and getting ready to leave. He missed the chance to wish his friend a Happy New Year; he hopes that he is still able to call Andy a friend after what went down between them the other day. Andy reassured him that everything was fine between them, but Donovan still has his insecurities.

"I will text him and see if he replies," Donovan tells himself as he searches for his phone. He pulls it out and starts texting him.

"You saw Andy leave, didn't you?" Craig asks Donovan, as he comes up to Donovan. "You know where he's headed, don't you?"

Donovan stops texting and looks at Craig. "I did see Andy leave, yes. But this party isn't exactly exciting Craig, so maybe he went home. I don't keep tabs on all of my friends all the time."

Craig laughs a little at Donovan's response. "Look, I know you said you and Andy were always friends but it's obvious that you care for him. It's always written on your face."

"I never crossed a line when you two were together Craig," Donovan defends himself.

"I believe you," Craig replies. "But you should know, Andy and Reese … they're always hung up on each other. I don't think either of them have ever gotten over each other. It's pretty clear."

Donovan stares at Craig and wonders what he should say back to him. He has heard about the love that Andy and Reese had, but he just assumed that it was a thing of the past.

"Happy New Year," Craig tells him, noticing that Donovan is clearly deep in thought about his words.

"Yea, you too Craig."

Scene Two - The Wilkins Estate; Reese & Madeline's Home

"I'll be right back Maddie," Reese calls out to his sister as he walks to the living room. "I don't want to miss the countdown."

"Hurry up then," Madeline calls back, fresh from the party. She feels like she made the right decision leaving the party and spending New Year's with her brother. While Reese isn't fully recovered from the flu bug he had, he is doing a lot better. "They're at 10 Reese!"

Reese laughs as he opens the front door. He arches his eye brow when he sees Andy standing on the other side of the door. "Andy, what are you doing here? I thought you'd be at the Pampa Grill party."

"I was there," Andy nods his head back to him. "But I felt like I needed to be here."

They both hear Madeline start to count down to midnight.

"Be here, why?" Reese asks confused as Madeline gets closer to midnight.

"Because I think we both know why we keep getting thrown into each other's orbits. I don't want to run from it anymore."

"3, 2…" Madeline calls out with the TV screen.

Reese grabs Andy's hand as they look into each other's eyes. Andy moves in and kisses Reese on the lips. Reese moves his hand behind Andy's head and pulls him in deeper into the kiss.

"1 … Happy New Year!"
