Previously On One Day At A Time
Robin rushes into the ER, searching for Cory. She finally finds him. "Cory?! Thank God you are alright. I was scared to death" Robin says, hugging him. "Whoa, not so tight. You may put me in a coma yet" Cory spits. "Very funny" Robin replies. "Seriously, are you OK?" "I’m fine. Shane checked me out. Just a bump on the head" "You have no idea how worried I was." Cory remains silent; as Robin sits next to him. "I can’t lose you Cory. I can’t." "You aren’t going to Robin." "I want to make sure. The only thing that was on my mind was you. I want to be with Cory. I think we should get married tonight" "Robin, you are talking crazy." "No. We could talk to Father Murphy and see if he could a quick ceremony. Or we could fly to Vegas. I’m sure I could use the Roboto jet." "You have everything planned out already, don’t you?" Cory asks. "I don’t want to spend another day not being with you Cory. Please tell me you will do this. Please." Robin pleas. "Ok." Cory says, taking a deep breath. "Let’s get married" Robin hugs Cory. "Oh Cory! You’ve made me so happy" Cory smiles as he hugs Robin. Scene
2 A devastated Adam sits on the sofa, drowning his sorrows in the bottle of champagne. His mind races through the events of the evening. [Flash] I’ve fallen in love with you Victoria, and..." "Adam..." "Wait, please let me finish. I know you just became a free woman, but you complete me. When I first came to Twin Peaks, I was so obsessed with Natasha and getting her back." he stops and walks to the sofa. He sits down. Victoria follows, and sits next to him. "Then I met you. And everything changed." Victoria starts to get some tears in her eyes. "You’re making me cry, Adam" she smiles. Adam gets down on one knee. "It’s not my intention to make you cry. I want to make you happy. Forever." He pulls out the ring box, and opens it. "Will you marry me?" Victoria is stunned. "Marriage? Adam this is so unexpected" Victoria says, getting up. "I’m sorry, but I can’t" Victoria grabs her coat and leaves [End of Flash] "Damn it! I can’t stay here" Adam says, grabbing his coat and leaving. Scene
3 Daisy lays on the bed, weeping. She sits up slowly and looks around. The walls are dark, but they are candles on the walls, giving her a little light. She tries to look around the room. She can’t make out much of anything. She slowly moves her body, and positions herself to have her feet touching the floor. She realizes that it’s carpet. She gets up and slowly makes her way across the room. She sees a separate room on the right, which is a washroom. She looks to the left and sees a small kitchen, including the fridge that Danielle mentioned earlier. Suddenly it dawns on Daisy. "She’s planning to keep me here for a long time" Scene
4 Shane is in his office packing, as Cory gave him the OK to use the Calimo cabin for a few days. "This is exactly what I need" he mumbles to himself. He is interrupted by a Nurse. "Dr. Glubbs?" she says. "Yes Brenda. What is it?" "Cory Calvin was wondering if you had his release papers." "I do. Right here" he says, handing Brenda the papers. "Thank you. He and his girlfriend are in a rush. They are getting married tonight" she smiles, leaving. Shane is surprise, but shakes it off. He quickly finishes packing, grabs his keys, and leaves. Scene 5 Adam arrives at the packed club. He looks around, and sees an empty stool at the bar. He makes his way across the dance floor, and finds the seat. He sits, and notices a beautiful woman at the stool next to him. A waitress approaches him. "What can I get ya?" she yells. "Double vodka. On the rocks" he says back, trying to say it loud enough to go over the loud music. Just as he finishes, the next song begins to play. It’s Nelly’s "Hot in Here". The woman sitting next to Adam slowly begins to dance in stool. Adam smiles. The waitress gives Adam his drink. He quickly downs it, and points his finger to the cup, indicating he wants another one. He looks at the woman. "Hey you wanna dance?" he asks. "I thought you’d never ask" she replies. Adam grabs his drink, and they head to the dance floor. Scene
6 Meggan arrives at the station, still shaken about the evenings events. She parks her car, and recalls what happened. [Flash] Meggan turns, and gasps in horror, and she sees something running down the hall. "Who’s there?" Meggan calls out. Meggan walks over to the picture of Vinny, and picks it up. She grabs a vase, and walks slowly downstairs. "Who’s here?" she calls out. She quickly finds her gun [the one she uses at work]. "I’m a police officer. Come out with your hands up" Meggan demands. Nothing happens. Meggan opens the door to the basement. "Is anyone down there?" she calls. Again silence fills the house. Meggan grabs her coat and walks to the door. She leaves the house and gets into her car. "Was I imaging things?" she asks herself. "I can’t stay there until I find out the truth." [End of Flash] Meggan shuts off the car, and begins to walk into station. She enters the station and arrives at Robbie’s office. She sees the light on, and knocks on the door. She hears Robbie’s voice saying "Come in". She enters the office. "Robbie, I need to talk to you" she says, sitting down. "Sure, what’s up Meggan?" he asks. Scene
7 Adam and the woman are dancing. Things get hot, as the woman begins to rub Adam’s chest. Adam moves in closer and smells the woman’s hair. He quickly slams another drink down, and continues to dance. She smiles at him. He moves closer so his mouth is next to her ear "Come back to my place" he says. "Sure" she replies. Scene 8 Cory and Robin arrive at home. "I’ll call Father Murphy and see if he can perform the ceremony." Cory says, walking slowly to the phone. "Great. I have to go find a dress to wear" a thrilled Robin says, rushing upstairs. Scene
9 Daisy back at the bed. "No!" she yells. "I will not be a prisoner! I will get out of here. Danielle will not control my life" Daisy walks over to the bed and attempts to think of a plan. "I have to find out a way to get out of here. Maybe I could attack her when she comes back." Daisy quickly gets up and walks over to the mini kitchen. She opens the drawers looking for something...anything that could help her. She finds a knife. Daisy slowly picks it up and looks at it. She can see her reflection in the knife. "Perfect" she says slowly. Scene
10 Meggan and Robbie arrive at the Victor’s house. "I’m sure it was nothing, Meggan" Robbie assures her, as they walk to the front door. "I hope so. I’m just worried that someone has been in my house. I’ve had the feeling someone has been watching me." They enter the house. "Wait here, I’ll search the entire house" Robbie says. Meggan sits on the sofa in the living room, as Robbie begins his search. Scene
11 Robin comes downstairs, as Cory hangs up the phone. "What did Father Murphy say?" she asks eagerly. "He can perform the ceremony tonight." Robin is overjoyed. She rushes to Cory and hugs him. "We have a problem" Cory says. "We need a witness. Who can we get at this hour?" "Leave it to me" Robin smiles. Robin picks up the phone. "Hi, it’s Robin. Can you do me a favor Rebecca?" Scene
12 Victoria sits in her room thinking about Adam. "Maybe I shouldn’t have left." she says aloud. "Damn it Victoria, how could you be so stupid and insensitive. He had just proposed!" She falls back on her bed. "Will I ever learn?" She rolls over and looks at the phone. She picks it up and dials a number. Meanwhile at Adam’s Apartment... Adam and the woman arrive at his place. He kisses her passionately, and begins to disrobe her...his hands feeling her body. They stop when they hear the phone ringing. "Let the machine get it" she says, laying on the sofa. Adam walks over and crawls on top of her, and they continue to kiss passionately. Back at Victoria and Shane’s Home... Victoria hangs up the phone. "I guess he went to sleep already" she says to herself. Scene
13 Shane is in his car driving to the Calimo cabin. He is driving slowly, as the early snow storm has turned into a heavy fog. He quickly sees the driveway and slowly turns into the Calimo cabin driveway. He quickly slows down, as he sees a car in the ditch. "I wonder what happened" he says. Meanwhile inside the cabin... Natasha comes downstairs. "I need some fresh air" she says. "I think I’ll take a walk". Natasha grabs her coat and leaves through the back door. Meanwhile, Shane parks his car. He gets out and grabs his suitcase from the trunk. He walks up to the front door, and finds the door unlocked. "Odd. I thought the Calimo’s kept the door locked" he says to himself, entering the cabin. Scene 14 Adam lays naked on the sofa, a small blanket covering him. He opens his eyes. He looks around and sees the apartment empty. "Where’d she go?" he asks himself. Scene
15 Cory, Robin and Rebecca arrive at the church. "Thanks for agreeing to do sis" Robin tells Rebecca. "No problem. I wouldn’t want to miss my sister’s wedding anyway" she teases. As the trio enter the church, Father Murphy greets them. "Welcome Cory, Robin." he says, shaking Cory’s hand. "Thank you for allowing us to have this wedding Father" Robin says, hugging the priest. "It’s my pleasure Robin. Now, you go get ready quickly, so we can begin." Robin and Rebecca walk quickly to the brides room. "Cory, if I may have a word with you while you dress." "Yes, of course Father." The two men enter the grooms room. Cory quickly begins to disrobe, and put on his tuxedo. "I am concerned about something Cory." Father Murphy begins. "A few short months ago I was marrying you and Natasha." "I know Father. And I still love her deeply. But I can’t put my life on hold forever." Father Murphy looks at Cory. "Only if you are sure Cory." "I am Father, thank you" Scene
16 Jackson sits at a table all alone. He has a beer. He is keeping to himself, sitting back and observing the other customers in the pub. Suddenly a woman enters. She is the same woman that Adam had sex with a few hours earlier. Jackson looks at the woman, and is struck by her. He gets up and walks over. "Hi. Can I buy you a drink?" he smiles. Scene
17 Cory is waiting at the alter. Father Murphy stands beside him. Rebecca slowly walks down the aisle in a pale pink dress. "You look amazing" Cory smiles, when she arrives. Suddenly Robin appears. She’s wearing a long simple white dress. Her hair is done up in a bun. She arrives at the alter. Meanwhile on the Calimo Cabin grounds... The air is filled with a heavy fog. Shane is walking near the river. He thinks he spots something in distance, but shakes it off. "Just relax" he tells himself. "You are here to escape everything in Twin Peaks" Nearby, Natasha is wondering. She thinks she hears a man’s voice, but shrugs it off. "No one is here" she tells herself. Meanwhile at the Church... Father Murphy begins the vows. "Do you Cory, take thee Robin to be your wedded wife?" "I do" Cory smiles. Robin gets a tear in her eye. "Do you Robin, take thee Cory to be your wedded husband?" "I do" Robin says, letting a tear scroll down her cheek. "By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife" Father Murphy says. Cory kisses Robin passionately, as an overjoyed Rebecca looks on. Meanwhile, back at the Calimo cabin... Shane and Natasha continue to walk closer. Shane stops as he hears something walking in the snow. Slowly out of the misty fog, Shane is stunned when he sees Natasha! "Natasha?" he says. Natasha freezes and looks at Shane. Next
