Scene One - The Calimo Cabin

Trenyce quickly moves back from Casey.“Don’t touch me Casey! Yes, I know the truth! You’re a monster! Cassie is alive and playing with people’s lives! How could you? How could you do this?” she cries to him, having read his phone and learning all of his secrets that he shares with Cassie.

He laughs back at her, “You know what this means, don’t you Trenyce?”

She wipes her eyes and looks back at him, scared as to what he will do next. When she read his phone, the last thing she expected was to learn Cassie is alive and posing as Helen. “It means,” he whispers. “I have to kill you because no one can find out the truth. Cassie and I, we’ve worked too hard for our plan to fail now. Especially by some nosy bitch that can’t keep out of my business. I tried to warn you, but you just wouldn’t listen to me.”

Trenyce shakes her head not even recognizing the man that stands in front of her. “All this time, what have we’ve been Casey?” she asks him as tears fall from her eyes. “I thought you loved me! I thought you cared for me!”

Casey laughs at her. “I needed a distraction from the plan Trenyce. You were my distraction from all the craziness Cassie was cooking up. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy spending time with you, but I really enjoyed being in your bed.”

Trenyce glares at him and moves up to slap him across the face but he grabs her wrist and looks back at her. “And like I said, no one is going to get away with exposing our secrets Trenyce. And that means that I have to kill you. It’ll be so easy up here to make it look like an accident. Trust me, this will be easy.”

Trenyce smiles at him for a moment before she raises her knee into his groin. He immediately yells out in pain and lets her go as he falls over in pain. “You stupid bitch!” he yells as Trenyce looks around and rushes out of the cabin. She stops on the porch and sees the large snow flakes still falling down heavily. She looks back and sees Casey getting up from his groin injury.

“I have to get out of here,” she says to herself as she starts to run into the snow fall.

Scene Two - The Michael’s House; Daisy, Trenyce & Andrew’s Home

“Something isn’t sitting well with me,” Daisy tells Vinny and Andy as she comes back into the living room having finished cleaning up from the Thanksgiving dinner. “Trenyce should have called us. It’s not like her to not contact me to see how Andrew is doing. Something isn’t right here.”

Andy looks at Vinny and then back up at Daisy. “I’m starting to agree. I’m getting a feeling in the pit of my stomach that something isn’t right here. Trenyce always puts Andrew first.”

“So what should we do?” Vinny asks them, wanting to help them calm their fears. “We have no idea where she went, so it’s not like we can go and check on her.”

“I’ll try calling her cell phone,” Andy replies as he pulls out his phone and dials a number. He looks at Daisy as he feels his heart sink in his chest. “It went straight to voicemail.”

“Which means she’s probably some where without cell phone reception,” Vinny concludes. “Especially in this winter storm.”

Daisy turns around and paces a little trying to rack her brain of how to get a hold of her niece. “What if we call her secretary at Robertson Enterprises?” Daisy suggests to them. “Maybe she gave some kind of indication to her.”

“That’s a great idea,” Andy tells her as he dials another number on his phone. “Sarah, hi, it’s Andy Spinnes,” he says into his phone. “Sorry to bother you today at home but it’s urgent … I’m wondering if you know where Trenyce went … The Calimo Cabin! Perfect thanks … No, it’s nothing … okay, take care.”

Andy looks up at Daisy, “She went to the cabin with Casey.”

Daisy nods her head. “So she’s probably just out of cell phone reception up there,” she explains to them trying to make herself feel better.

“Do you want us to drive up there and check on her?” Vinny says as he stands up and walks over to Daisy.

Daisy shakes her head no but gets tears in her eyes. “It sounds silly, but I just can’t stop thinking that something bad is happening to her.”

“Then we’ll go and make sure she’s okay,” Vinny tells her as he gives her a quick kiss on the lips. “You game Andy?”

“Of course, let’s go!” Andy replies already heading towards the door.

Scene Three - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn’s Home

Shane looks at Cassie and then over at Adam, who is only wearing his jeans and arches his eyebrow after he enters the living room of the house. He can clearly tell that the two have just had sex, which strikes him as odd because he knows that “Helen” has been telling him for weeks now that her marriage is over and she has been hitting on him constantly. They have even shared a few kisses.

“I couldn’t help but overhear what the two of you were talking about at the Pampa Grill earlier. Casey isn’t who he claims to be?” Shane asks them quickly as Adam looks over at Cassie. “What the hell is going with him then? Who is he Helen? Who is Casey?” Shane asks, wanting to get to the bottom of this situation.

Cassie puts her hand on her hip and looks at Shane as she gulps wondering what she can say or do to make him understand what is happening.

Adam steps up to Shane, “I’m glad that you’re here Shane,” Adam tells him as he puts his shirt back on. “I was just telling Helen that we should call you to get to the bottom of the story.”

Cassie shakes her head, “I want both of you to leave.”

Adam turns and looks at the woman he believes is his wife. “What has gotten into you? We just finished talking about this!”

“No!” Cassie yells back at him. “You just finished talking about it. As usual, whatever you say has to go. I’m so tired of this crap Adam!”

“Helen,” Shane says coming up to her. “Are you sure you’re okay? You’ve been under so much stress lately. Maybe we just need to talk about what’s going on rationally.”

“Nothing is going on!” she yells back at them both, as the men look at each other. “You two have very creative imaginations. Casey is my brother. I have the DNA test to prove it. Now, get out! I want to be alone.”

“And I’m telling you, I have had him investigated. He’s not who he claims to be,” Adam replies to her in a stern voice. “Now, we have to find out who the hell he is. I won’t let my daughter be around a con artist. What if he’s dangerous?”

“Don’t you think he would have tried something by now? Anything Adam?” Cassie snaps back at him, growing more desperate to keep the truth from coming out. “You’ve been in that hospital for months. Do you know how many times I’ve been alone with him in this very room? Do you know how many times he’s been alone with Dawn? He’s not dangerous. I just … I can’t believe I have to defend myself and my family to you of all people.”

“Let’s just calm down,” Shane suggests to them, realizing how heated things are between them. “What would another DNA test hurt Helen? We could learn the truth once and for all.”

Cassie shakes her head in disgust and walks out of the room. She walks back into the bedroom and opens the closet door quickly as she can hear the two men following her. She knows that she has to do something, anything, to stop them. She looks around the closet before she sees it: her gun. She quickly grabs the gun that she has and holds it behind her back.

“Why are you running from us?” Adam asks as he comes into the bedroom. Before he knows what’s happening, she hits him over the head the gun barrel. He falls to the ground.

“What the hell?” Shane asks as he comes into the room and sees “Helen” standing over Adam’s unconscious body. “What’s going on Helen?”

Cassie points her gun at Shane and smiles. “Surprise baby,” she says in a soft whisper as Shane’s eyes open wider in horror. “It’s me … your wife.”

Shane’s eyes open wider in horror. “Cassie?” he asks as his mouth falls open.

Kim pulls her car into the Black house driveway. She recalls once she left the Calimo mansion she sent Shane a text message asking him where he was so she could finally discuss with him where Natasha could possibly be. She hated that Bob was so upset that neither of his children showed up for Thanksgiving dinner at the mansion earlier in the day. She knows that she has to find Natasha to ensure that their family can start this healing process. The fact that she’s still being so spoiled about her father marrying her is outrageous in her mind. If everyone could just move forward, life could get back to normal.

“Shane told me that he was heading over to see Helen and Adam,” Kim whispers to herself as she shuts off her car. “And there’s his car. Okay, let’s see what’s going on here.”

She steps out of her car and walks up to the door and finds it open. “Hello?” she calls out as she enters the house.

She pauses as she doesn’t hear anything in the house. Soon, however, she can hear something faintly. “What is that noise?” she asks herself as she soon makes her way over to the basement door. “I think it’s coming from down here.” She opens the door and starts to walk down the stairs.

***

In the basement, Helen and Natasha each old the steel bars of the cage that they are in and they continue to scream for help as they heard voices above them for the first time.

Natasha finally turns to Helen, her throat hoarse and tired from all the screaming she’s done. “Maybe it’s no use. Maybe no one can hear us.”

Helen looks back at her with tears in her eyes. “How are we going to get out of here? How?”

Natasha looks at her and hugs her. “I don’t know. I don’t know.”

Soon, they hear the basement door open. “Hello?” a woman’s voice calls out into the basement.

“Over here! Hello! Who is there?” Helen calls, standing up again with some excitement as she can hear someone in the basement.

Kim walks around and her mouth opens in shock as she sees Helen and Natasha standing in a cage. “What the hell is going on here?”

“Kim,” Natasha cries, overwhelmed that someone has found them. “Thank God! Someone has found us! Please, please help us get out of here!”

Kim quickly walks up to the cage and looks around for something to help get the girls out of the cage. “How did you guys get locked in a cage? Natasha, Helen? This seems really weird,” Kim tells them as she starts to look for something to open the cage as the door is locked. She doesn’t see Cassie appear behind her, still holding her gun.

“Kim, behind you!” Natasha screams as Cassie approaches Kim.

Kim turns around and sees another woman that looks like Helen. She turns back around and sees Helen in the cage as well. “My God! What is going on?”

“You’re just in time for the party,” Cassie smiles to herself as she reveals the gun in her hand. “Adam and Shane are upstairs knocked out. And now here you are. No one will learn my secret. No one will ever know.”

Kim gulps as she sees the gun pointing in her face. She looks back at Helen and Natasha, who look just as in fear as Kim does.

Scene Four - The Sugarbowl

Daisy enters the coffeehouse, needing to get out of the house after Vinny and Andy left to head up to the Calimo cabin to ensure that Trenyce is safe. Daisy’s mind was working over time so she decided to come and get a coffee and hope to get her mind off what could be happening to her niece, even though she is hoping that it’s just that she is out of cell phone reception during the storm.

She places her order and quickly takes her coffee to the bar to put some cream and sugar in her drink. Savannah soon emerges beside her. “Hello Daisy,” Savannah says as she grabs some sugar for her coffee.

Daisy looks over at the young woman that has claimed to have given birth to Dave’s child a few years ago. With everything going on with Trenyce, she had forgotten about the potential of having another member of Vinny’s family being in town.

“Savannah,” Daisy replies to her. “How was your Thanksgiving?”

Savannah rolls her eyes a little. “Well I was alone, which shouldn’t be a surprise since I have no friends or family in this town yet.”

“Sorry to hear that, no one should be alone on a holiday like that,” Daisy says back to her. “Did you have you baby with you?”

Savannah shakes her head and walks away from the bar and to a seat the window. “You guys get such large snow flakes here,” she says as she looks outside at the falling snow, clearly wanting to change the subject.

“We are in the mountains,” Daisy informs as she sits next to Savannah. “You didn’t answer me though, how is your baby? How come you didn’t bring him out with you today?”

Savannah looks over at Daisy and sighs. She doesn’t really want to talk about her child and how it was taken from her after she gave birth. “I’m not sure now is the best time to talk about my son,” she quietly says. “It was a very difficult time for me and I think we should just leave it alone for now.”

“Okay,” Daisy replies as she takes a drink of her coffee. Inside, Daisy can’t help but wonder why Savannah would mention to Vinny that she had his brother’s baby and then not want to discuss the actual child. Unless, she thinks to herself, that Savannah isn’t who she claims to be and that there’s more to this story than meets the eye. “Whatever you want.”

Scene Five - The Calimo Cabin

“I can’t believe all of the snow up here,” Vinny says as he pulls his SUV into the driveway of the Calimo cabin. “It’s there’s so much more than in the city.”

“I see Trenyce’s car,” Andy says as they drive up to the cabin. “That’s a good sign, hey?”

Vinny nods and he shuts off the car. They climb out and walk up to the cabin. “Something’s not right,” Andy quickly says to Vinny. “The front door is wide open to the cabin. Why would they leave the door open?”

Vinny rushes up to the cabin door and looks inside. He doesn’t see any sign of a person in the cabin. “Trenyce!” he yells into the cabin but doesn’t hear anyone reply.

“Look at this,” Andy says walking over to the side of the cabin. “It looks like the faint remainder of footprints.”

Vinny walks over to him. “I say we follow them. Trenyce could be in trouble.”

***

Trenyce rushes through some forest until she sees an opening patch. She stops to collect her breath and she turns around quickly to see if she can see Casey following her. She doesn’t know how long she has been running, but she’s growing tired and cold.

“Trenyce!” Casey yells as he rushes through the trees following her, as he can see a glimpse of her. “You can’t run forever!”

Trenyce looks around and wonders where she can go to hide from the monster that is chasing her. She quickly realizes that she can’t really hide any where because she is leaving tracks in the snow, so Casey will always find her.

She moves beyond the brush where she is and steps on to a pond. She can tell that it’s a pond because it’s glare ice every where around her. “Maybe if I could just get to the other side of the pond, he wouldn’t be able to come across here,” she whispers to herself. “I have to keep moving. I have to get away from him. I have to get home to Andrew.”

She slowly starts making her way across the pond. She continues to go slowly as she starts to hear the ice crack underneath her. “Oh God,” she cries to herself thinking that the first real snow fall of the year is just causing the ice to be fresh and thin.

“There you are!” Casey yells having emerged from the forest area. “You can’t escape! No one will expose me.”

“Leave me alone Casey!” Trenyce yells as she tries to get across the pond faster.

Casey jumps up on to the ice and starts to move quicker towards her, not realizing that the ice is thin. “I will stop you Trenyce!”

Suddenly, the ice is unable to handle the weight of both Casey and Trenyce and it starts to shatter beneath their feet. Trenyce screams as she falls into the icy water below her. Vinny and Andy arrive at the edge of the pond and see Trenyce fall into the water.

“Trenyce!” Andy yells out in horror as he then watches Casey falls into the water after Trenyce falls in first.

“My God,” Vinny says as he looks at Andy. “That water must be freezing. We have to get over there to save Trenyce!”

Casey starts to flop in the water. “Help! Help me!” he yells as his head continues to go in and out of the water. His head comes up and he looks over at Trenyce, who is trying to pull herself out of the water. A large piece of ice comes up and knocks Casey hard in the head. His eyes shut slowly and his head sinks under the cold water.

“Help me!” Trenyce yells as she tries to desperately get out of the water, after seeing Casey fall beneath the water.

Meanwhile, Andy and Vinny create a human chain on to the ice. Andy moves slowly across the closed part of the ice. “Trenyce!” he calls out to her, moving slowly to the opening of the ice where Trenyce is in the water. “Trenyce, pass me your hand. Reach for me. I will pull you back to the shore.”

“Andy!” she calls out from the water as she tries to reach for his hand as she tries to stay afloat. “Please help me!”

“Reach Trenyce!” Andy yells at her as he reaches as far as he can to grab her. Soon, their hands are locked together. “I’ve got her Vinny! Pull us in!”

Vinny slowly pulls them back to the shore safely. Once Trenyce is on the solid ground again, she hugs Andy. “Oh God,” she cries into his arms as the nightmare is finally over. “Thank God you guys came here for me.”

Scene Six - The Black House; Adam, Helen &Dawn’s Home

“I don’t understand what’s going on?” Kim asks Cassie, trying to remain calm as the gun continues to point in her in the face. She has no idea who this woman is in front of her.

Cassie laughs. “Oh, these two haven’t had the chance to fill you in yet?”

Kim shakes her head. “No, what’s going on? What secret do you have to keep Helen?”

“I’m not Helen!” Cassie snaps, growing completely tired of being called Helen. “I can’t stand being Helen anymore! I am Cassie! And I’m trying to regain my life. And I won’t let anyone stop me from doing that!”

Kim opens her mouth in shock realizing that Cassie has kidnapped Helen and Natasha and has been holding them hostage in the basement. “Cassie?” Kim asks, shocked. “I thought you had died! Thank goodness you’re alive and okay.”

Cassie rolls her eyes. “So now you’re trying to be my friend? You pathetic little girl! You never were very bright.”

“What’s that?” Kim asks pointing her finger in another direction, causing Cassie to quickly take her eyes off Kim. Kim uses the opportunity to rush up to Cassie and start to wrestle her for the gun. “I won’t let you hurt anyone else Cassie!”

“Kim!” Natasha calls out from the cage, “My God be careful.”

“You stupid little bitch,” Cassie grits her teeth as she continues to fight with Kim.

“You’ve done enough damage!” Kim yells back at her as they fall to the ground and continue to struggle.

Helen and Natasha scream in horror as the gun is fired twice! “Ahhh!” Helen yells as she turns her head away as both Kim and Cassie fall to the ground, each having been shot by one of the bullets from the gun.

“Help us! Somebody help us!” Natasha starts to scream as she watches Kim and Cassie lay in a large pool of blood. She continues to scream for help, knowing that both women could die if they don’t get help quickly.
