Scene One - The Sugarbowl

“A baby?” Vinny asks Cory as the two friends sit across from each other with a coffee at the booth in the corner, learning that Robin is with child. “That’s really awesome news.”

Cory can’t hide the beaming excitement from his face with the news that he just shared with Vinny. After everything he and Robin have been through, the baby seems to be the perfect way for them to finally have some calmness in their life, at least until the child is born. “I am so excited,” Cory says back to him.

“And Robin?” Vinny asks him. “She’s happy too?”

Cory nods his head, “She’s hoping for a little girl I think. She wants pink everything,” he chuckles to his friend.

Vinny laughs back, “As long as the baby is healthy, then the sex doesn’t really matter.”

“I couldn’t agree more,” he replies to him. “It’s just nice to be able to share good news for a change instead of so much drama.”

“I hear you,” Vinny tells him back, recalling some of the events that have happened as of late. “You know, this is nice. I don’t have many male friends in this town it seems like.”

Cory looks back at his friend, “I think you’ve proven yourself to be a good man Vinny. After everything that went down with your brothers, you’ve shown that you’re nothing like them.”

Vinny sighs, “I hope so. I’m really trying to be a better man and show the world some goodness, you know?”

Cory smiles, “I think the biggest way you’ve shown that is by helping Daisy through everything she’s gone through. She’s been a good friend to Robin and I over the years. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen her this happy in a very long time. I think she owes a lot of that to you.”

“She makes me happy too,” Vinny quickly says back to his friend. “I’ve never felt this way about any woman before in my life.”

“It’s amazing how that can happen,” Cory winks back over to him. “Seriously, the four of us should have a couples night out, you know? It could be fun.”

“I think that’s a great idea!” Vinny grins back at his friend.

At the entrance of coffeehouse, Savannah stands in the line up as she looks around. It’s her first time at the Sugarbowl as she is still getting settled in Twin Peaks taking a job at Robertson Enterprises as a model. The city, thus far, is much more low key than New York, but she’s enjoying that aspect of it. She really was looking for a way to escape that craziness and have some down time. She wanted to escape NYC and make some new memories for herself.

Of course, she knows that there are other reasons that she wanted to come to Twin Peaks. She puts her hand on her stomach as her eyes move to the back of the coffee house where she sees two men engaged in a conversation. She opens her purse to find her glasses and she puts them on, gasping when she does, almost like getting a confirmation that she needed.

The man facing her is a face she knows instantly, “My God,” she whispers to herself as she quickly turns around having seen Vinny’s face, a face that she could never forget. A face that haunts her to her very core. “It’s Dave!”

Scene Two - MW Investigations

Madeline sits at her desk looking at her most recent case file that she started to work on. She looks at the few pages of notes that she got from Adam when he came to see her so she could investigate Casey Mills to see who he really was. Adam believes that there must be more to the story of his arrival in Twin Peaks right after he was shot as Helen has no memory of her past. For all anyone knows, Casey is actually a con-artist fooling everyone in the town right now. Madeline has to agree that the timing of Casey’s appearance in Twin Peaks does seem suspect.

Madeline picks up her phone and dials a number, “Hey, it’s me,” she says as she speaks to the person on the other end. “What did you find out?”

She listens intently as the other person informs of her what has happened, “Are you sure?” she asks shocked by what she has just heard. “Okay, I got it, thanks.”

She hangs up the phone when she sees Adam at her door frame. He slowly moves inside as he is still using a cane to help him walk. “Is this a good time?” he asks as he moves to the chair on the other side of her desk. “I know it hasn’t been long since I came and hired you, but I’m really hoping that you can give me an update on the case.”

Madeline arches her eyebrow, “You have impeccable timing. I just got off the phone with one of my guys that’s looking into the case for you.”

Adam’s eyes open wider in excitement. He has longed thought that his brother in law, the man who shot him, may not be who he says he is. “What did you find out? Please tell me that I’m right and that there’s more to this guy than meets the guy.”

Madeline nods her head, “He doesn’t even exist,” she reveals to a stunned Adam.

“What do you mean he doesn’t exist?”

“We’ve ran name searches on Casey Mills through out the country. None meet his profile at all. I’m beginning to think that Casey Mills is not his real name. Or he wasn’t born in this country. Based on the age of our Casey, no one matches his profile.”

“And you’re sure of this?” Adam asks, still dumbfounded by what she just revealed to him. He always knew that something was off with his brother in law.

Madeline nods her head back to him, “I’ll keep digging Adam and as soon as I learn something else, I’ll let you know.”

“I have to be sure about this,” Adam says back to her. He can’t go to Helen with this information unless he is absolutely sure about what is going to reveal to her. “If Casey isn’t who he claims to be, my wife and daughter could be in grave danger.”

Scene Three - Robertson Enterprises; Trenyce’s Office

“I was hoping you’d be here,” Casey announces to Trenyce as he enters her office causing her to turn around and look at him from the sketch board, leaving her new design ideas behind.

She quickly gets a smile on her face as she is always happy to see her boyfriend, despite the fact that she doesn’t enjoy that he is always seemingly keeping how he feels about his troubled relationship with Helen a secret from her. “Hey, what’s going on? I only have a moment, I’m running late for a meeting.”

“I won’t keep you too long,” he says as he comes up to her and gives her a quick kiss on the lips. “I wanted to see you about something.”

Trenyce gets a little excited, hoping that he’s finally going to talk to her about his relationship with Helen and maybe more. “I’m all ears, what’s up?”

“I had this idea and I really hope that you’ll say yes,” he replies to her as he gets a grin on his face. “Helen is friends with the Calimo family and Bob agreed to let Helen use the cabin that they have up in the woods.”

Trenyce nods her head, “Yea, I’ve heard about it. Apparently it’s beautiful, especially this time of the year with snow starting to fall.”

“Yea,” Casey continues with excitement in his voice. “I was thinking you and I should go up there to get away. You know, a romantic getaway in the mountains … it sounds so nice!”

Trenyce smiles back to her lover as she has never gone away on a romantic getaway before but she has to admit that she is excited by the prospects. “That sounds amazing,” Trenyce tells him.

“Then let’s do it! I’ll pick you up later and we can be on our way!”

“Wait,” Trenyce tells him as he was preparing to leave. “I should ask Daisy if she can watch Andrew while we are gone. You can meet me later as long as Daisy agrees to baby-sit.”

Casey nods, “Okay, but I’m still planning like this is going ahead.”

Trenyce winks back at him, “Me too!”

Scene Four - The Glubbs House; Shane & Natasha’s Home

Shane opens his email on his IPAD hoping to see a new message from Natasha in his inbox. He sighs heavily and puts the IPAD down on the sofa next to him when he doesn’t see a new message. He knows that it’s been a few months now since Natasha has left town and the longer he goes without hearing a word from her, the more worried he becomes. It’s not like her to have not reached out and contacted him.

The longer that it goes without Natasha making contact, the more he starts to think that maybe Helen is right; maybe Natasha left on her own will because of Bob and Kim’s marriage and she needs time to sort everything out in head. While he has tried to tell Helen on numerous occasions that Natasha wouldn’t just leave him, he can’t help but start to think that maybe she is right. If Natasha was in some sort of trouble, they would have been contacted by this point. He hates to think that but he doesn’t know what else to think at this point.

He sighs heavily and wonders what he should do next. He could go to the police but because Natasha wrote him a letter, there’s not much they can really do. He could file a missing persons report, but it appears that Natasha left on her own will. He wonders if Kim has heard anything from the PI that she hired. He walks over to his phone and prepares to dial a number when he hears his doorbell ring. He sets his phone down and walks over to the front door.

“Helen,” he says when he sees her on the other side of the door. “Please come in.”

“Thank you,” Cassie replies to him. She’s still on cloud nine as the last time they saw each other, Shane kissed her. Up to that point, she had been the one making the first move on him. Last time was different though and she is determined to keep that momentum moving. “I’ve been thinking about you and wanted to see how you were doing.”

Shane smiles at his friend as they enter the living room. He has really grown to appreciate their friendship as she has been there for him during Natasha’s disappearance. He is alarmed, however, that they have been sharing some kisses and that is something he has to stop, “I was actually going to give you a call later on.”

“I guess we were on the same page then,” she smiles back to him. “Did you want to talk to me about something in particular.”

Shane nods and grabs her hand to sit her down on the sofa. “You know that I’m going through a rough time right now because of Natasha’s disappearance, right?”

“Of course I do,” she quickly says back to him. “It’s really all we have been talking about, other than my pending divorce from Adam. I know that Natasha leaving has been wearing on you Shane.”

“Good, because I still love her more than anything else in the world,” he informs Cassie, who feels a knife go through her chest into her heart. “When she gets back, I still hope that I can marry her.”

Cassie rolls her eyes and fakes a smile at him, “Wow.”

Shane arches his eyebrow, “You’re surprised?”

Cassie stands up and walks into the middle of the living room, “Yea, I am surprised. Natasha left you with some note months ago. You haven’t heard from her since then. She hasn’t had the decency to call you or write you or come home, but here you are waiting for her like an owner waiting for a lost dog to come back to him.”

“That’s not fair,” Shane quickly replies to her, not understanding where she is coming from.

“Yes it is Shane. As your friend, I’m just trying to look out for you,” Cassie tells him. “I don’t want you to be hurt anymore than you already have been.”

Shane stands up and walks up to her, “I know and thank you for that. It’s just … I feel like Natasha will come back to me one day Helen. It wouldn’t be fair for anyone to do something that we would regret later.”

“What would you regret later?” she asks him as she purses her lips together.

Shane shakes his head, “I don’t know.”

She leans in and kisses him hard and passionately. They finally part and he looks at her, “We can’t do this.”

“Why not?” she says leaning into him again. “You clearly need to get this out of your system and I’m here for you.”

Shane pulls himself off her and looks at her, his eyes full of lust. “It would be easy to do this Helen, but I can’t. I can’t do this to Natasha, I’m sorry.”

Cassie rolls her eyes in disgust knowing that she still has work to do to make sure that Shane is ready to move past Natasha. “Okay, I’m not going to pressure you,” she says with a grin as she collects herself. “I’m just trying to make this easier for you. For all of us.”

“I know Helen,” he replies to her. “I just hope we find Natasha quickly.”

“Me too,” she lies back to him, she rolls her eyes slightly. “Me too.”

Scene Five - The Calimo House; Leah &Paige’s Home

“I’m coming!” Leah says as she rushes to the front door when she hears the door bell ring for a third time. She opens the door and sees Jeff standing on the other side, “Jeff, didn’t you hear me say I was coming?”

Jeff comes into the house, “Sorry, I know it’s a big house. I didn’t think you heard.”

“So what brings you by?” she asks him as she closes the door and follows him into the living room. “And if this is about Paige, I’m not going to stop you from seeing her, but you have to call in advance and make arrangements.”

Jeff looks at her and arches his eyebrow, “That’s fair. Is she here now though? Since I’m here, I’d love to see her.”

Leah shakes her head, “No, she’s not. She had a play date with one of her friends from down the road. She’ll be home tomorrow. Do you want to set something up for then?”

Jeff nods, “I’d like that, yea. It’s time that Paige gets to know who I am.”

“As long as you realize that this has to move slowly Jeff,” Leah informs him, still worried about Paige’s well being. “I’m not going to keep you from Paige, but you have to understand that she still thinks of Robbie as her father. We don’t want to confuse her.”

“I get that Leah, I really do,” Jeff replies to her. “But I won’t lie to her. She needs to know that I am her father. The sooner she realizes that the less confusing it will be for her.”

Leah nods back to him, “How does Veronica feel about all of this?”

Jeff looks up and can’t help but glare at Leah. He knows that Leah interrupting his wedding to Veronica, which was a large part of the reason that she left town. Veronica thought that Jeff was still in love with Leah and that they had a connection that they needed to resolve.

“You’re not saying anything?” Leah observes to her ex-husband regarding her question about Veronica. “How does your fiancé feel about you coming here to see Paige?”

Jeff sighs, “It doesn’t matter what Veronica thinks.”

“Why not?”

“She left town. She moved back to Boston,” Jeff reveals to a surprised Leah.

“Oh,” Leah gasps. “I didn’t realize that.”

Jeff turns his head a little, “Is that what you wanted? Is that why you stopped my wedding to her?”

Leah shakes her head, “I just didn’t want you to make a mistake that you would end up regretting. I’m sorry … I never should have went to the church that day.”

“But you did,” Jeff replies to her as he walks up closer to her. “And you did stop the wedding. And now here we are.”

Leah looks up locking her eyes with his, “Yea, here we are.”

They look at each other for a moment longer before they inch even closer to each other. “You’re sure Paige won’t be home today,” he whispers to her as they are now inches apart from each other.

“Positive,” she says as she looks down at his lips. He grabs her and pushes her up against him before he kisses her. He moves her hand up to his face and they part for a moment. “I want you,” she says back to him as she kisses him again.

He lifts her into his arms and carries her up the stairs, clearly wanting her just as much as she wants him.

Scene Six - The Pier

Light dots start to form behind her eyelids as she lays on the pier in shallow snow fall. Victoria’s eyes start to open slowly, but she has to shut them again as the bright sun is causing her to rethink the idea of opening her eyes. Finally, she opens them again but she is still unsure of where she is. She tries to stand up, but she is weak. She has felt this way before, it was the same feeling that she had after she was attacked before Cory and Robin’s wedding a few months ago. She is finally able to sit on the ground. She moves her hand to her neck to see if she has another cut, which is what happened the last time she was attacked but she doesn’t feel any blood coming out from her neck.

“What happened?” she asks herself in a whisper as she moves her hands back down from her neck. She looks at her hands and sees that there is some blood on them. She immediately starts to tremble, “My God,” she gasps looking at her hand. Her eyes move down and she quickly sees that all of her clothing has been ripped. Her shirt is practically off her body. The chill from the snow hits her as she wonders what exactly happened to her.

She tries to stand up quickly, but she stumbles into the bench. She tries to collect herself before she stands up. She looks around and immediately sees another body laying on the pier. The body is dressed in black clothing and isn’t moving.

“Hello?” she calls out to the body as she tries to move slowly over to it. She reaches the body and looks down. The face of the person is pointing into the ground, so she can’t see who it is. “Are you okay?” she asks the lifeless body. She kneels down and rolls over the body before screaming as she sees the face of Ernesto!

“Dad?” she screams as she can tell by facial expression that he is dead.
