Scene One - Roboto; Bob’s Office

Bob sits at his desk looking over the latest Roboto sales figures from his launch in February. He is pleased with what has happened with his latest launch but he also knows that he has to continue to work hard or Dominick will surely come up with something that will give him the edge. He refuses to let that happen as he knows that Dominick’s only motivation is to make him realize that Sofia did care for him and Bob knows that Sofia never cared for that man. He continues to be determined to ensure he and Roboto always out on top of Dominick and Robertson Enterprises.

“She despised you as much as I did,” he whispers to himself as he closes the folder in front of him, referring to Sofia. “And I will make sure that your company fails Dominick. Even if it’s the last thing that I do. For Sofia, and for me.”

His train of thought is interrupted by his office door opening; he turns and sees Veronica enter his office holding some papers in her hands.

“Veronica,” he smiles to his chemist. “This is a surprise. What brings you by?”

Veronica comes around to the front of his desk and looks at Bob. She feels like her heart is very heavy right now and she hates what she is about to do, but she feels like she has little choices around her. She sighs before she hands Bob the papers in her hands, “I’m here to give you these.”

Bob takes the papers as he puts his reading glasses on, “What’s this?” he asks her as he looks over the documents that she passes him.

“My resignation from Roboto,” she informs him as he reads over the papers.

He takes off his reading glasses and places them on his desk before he looks up at her, “I hope you reconsider this Veronica. Roboto really needs you as our head chemist. The work you have done is unbelievably good.”

Veronica nods back him, “Which is why I hope you give me the best reference possible,” she quickly replies to him. “I have cherished my time here Mr. Calimo and I loved creating your last line, but I can’t stay working here. I can’t stay working in Twin Peaks. I’m leaving town.”

Bob quickly realizes that Veronica was engaged to Jeff and the truth about Paige’s paternity recently came to light, leaving Veronica as the odd woman out in the very complex situation. “Does this have anything to do with Jeff Claus?” Bob asks her, becoming very frank with her, hating that Leah’s lies are effecting his company.

Veronica looks at him and knows that she doesn’t want to break down in front of her boss, “It doesn’t matter what it is about Mr. Calimo. Please, just tell me that you’ll give me a good reference and I’ll be on my way.”

Bob looks at her and realizes that he won’t be able to change her mind on staying with the company. “Of course I’ll give you a good reference. I hope you know if you ever change your mind, there will always be an opening for you at this company.”

Veronica feels her eyes fill with water, “Thank you, I do appreciate that. I’ve already collected my personal belongings from the lab. Here is the access key back,” she tells him as she drops a swipe card on his desk. “And thank you again for the wonderful opportunity.”

He sighs heavily as she walks out of his office. In his mind, this is another blow that is caused by Dominick, as his daughter’s affair with Jeff has caused him to lose an amazing chemist. He quickly wonders how he should move forward as he, once again, needs a new chemist.

Scene Two - Riverside Delicatessen

“You’re absolutely sure it was this Jonas guy?” Donovan asks Victoria as they sit together having lunch, as Victoria has just told her brother of the video tape that St. Joseph’s produced to Robbie proving that Jonas was the one that attacked Victoria on the day of Cory and Robin’s wedding.

Victoria nods back to her brother as she takes a bit of her quesadilla, “The video showed him lifting his ski mask. At first,” she informs him as he listens intently. “I wasn’t sure who he was, then it came to me. I’ve seen him with Dad a few times at the Pampa Grill. I’m sure he’s Ernesto’s right hand man or something.”

Donovan shakes his head in disgust, “Which makes sense as to how Ernesto had an alibi for your attack and Eva’s attack.”

“Exactly,” Victoria replies to him. “He set the entire thing up, but he got his goon to do his dirty work.”

“My God,” Donovan whispers over to her. “I’m just floored Victoria. I mean, really … who does this kind of fucked up crap to their own children?”

Victoria shakes her head, “I don’t know. But he has to be stopped Donovan. We have to make sure he doesn’t hurt anyone else anymore.”

Donovan looks back at her, “Are you okay? This can’t be easy for you to find out that your own father has set this all into motion.”

Victoria shrugs, “This is really nothing compared to my childhood, you know? It does hurt that he still thinks he can just do whatever he wants to us, but I know that he won’t get away with it. I refuse to play his victim any longer.”

Donovan nods back to him, “This just makes me so angry, you know? Who does he think he is? He has to pay for this. He will pay for hurting you again Victoria. I won’t stand by and let this monster ruin our lives.”

Victoria nods back to him, “I know. We have to stop him Donovan, the question is … how?”

“I don’t want to pressure you,” Dean tells Reese as they sit across from each other. “But we should make a decision soon about your video. If you want to do another one, which I still think is the best idea, we should do it soon. Fans are wondering and waiting for you to release something new.”

Reese takes a drink of his club soda and looks at Dean. He can’t even believe that he is having this conversation with Dean, but he can’t deny that the amount of money that was coming in is staggering from his solo video. He still wishes that he know how this video came to bout, though as he doesn’t remember making it at all. That’s the part that troubles him the most now.

“I have been thinking about it,” Reese reveals to his boyfriend.

“Yea? What have you decided?” Dean asks, his voice filled with excitement as he hopes that Reese has finally come around to the idea of doing gay porn. “If you agree to do another video, I think we scene with another guy would be great. I know a lot of young stars that would be an awesome match with you.”

Reese looks at him, “Can I ask you something?”

Dean nods back to him, “Of course you can.”

“I’m your boyfriend, right?” Reese asks him as Dean nods yes to him. “So why do you want to see me have sex with other men? It seems so weird.”

Dean laughs, “Well, I know what you and I have is the real deal. And I know anything that you do on camera is working. I know that you don’t really have feelings for these guys. But if it’s hot and it will make us a crap load of money, why not?”

Reese nods trying to understand Dean’s rational, “There’s just one big thing that I can’t get over. And I need to understand before I agree to do anything.”

“What’s that?” Dean asks him, knowing that he will do anything to make sure Reese does another video.

“I don’t remember making that first video,” Reese reveals to him as their eyes lock. “And I won’t do another one until I understand why I don’t remember making the video.”

Dean gulps as he looks at Reese and fakes a smile. He knows that he can’t really tell Reese the truth about the reason how the video was made. If Reese knew that Dean had drugged him, he would never agree to another video. Dean wonders how he can pass this with Reese to ensure he does another video.

Scene Three - The Tower’s, Floor Five; Craig & Andy’s Condo

“This place is really starting to look like our place,” Andy smiles to his boyfriend, who is sitting on the sofa with a vodka beverage in his hand. “I think my stuff looks so nice in here.”

Craig smiles up to Andy and looks around the living room of the condo. He has to admit that the room looks much more complete with all of Andy’s belongings scattered through out the space. It’s the first time Craig has asked a boyfriend to live with him and he really does care for Andy, he only hopes that he has done the right thing by asking him to live with him. He can’t shake it out of his mind that Andy is growing so very close to Donovan, the very attractive and single gay man in Twin Peaks. In Craig’s mind, Donovan would be a great catch and he worries that with Andy’s cheating history, Donovan will be his next conquest. He recalls the day Andy was moving in and Craig came home early to help him but he saw Andy and Donovan in an embrace.

“You look a million miles away,” Andy observes to his lover as he walks over to the sofa and sits next to him. Andy puts his hand on Craig’s leg and squeezes it a little, “Where were you?”

Craig sighs and puts his drink to his mouth and takes a good gulp before he looks at back at Andy. “I guess I was just thinking.”

“About what? You’re not having second thoughts about us living together are you?” Andy asks, half joking. “Because I’ve worked so hard at getting this place together, I don’t know if I could pack it all up again.”

Craig, who is still thinking about Donovan and Andy, doesn’t even hear what Andy says to him. “That was a joke Craig,” Andy says to him, poking him to make him come back to the conversation. “What’s going on with you? It’s not like you to keep zoning out.”

Craig stands up and walks to the large window in his condo that over looks the city sky line. “I was here, you know,” he finally says to Andy. “The day you were moving in. I was here.”

Andy arches his eyebrow, “You were? I thought you told me that you got caught up at work and that’s why you didn’t show up.”

“I know that’s what I said,” he says as I turned around. “But when I showed up, I saw you and Donovan in some kind of embrace so I turned and left.”

Andy sighs back to his lover, “Are we really going to talk about this again? Donovan stopped by Craig, because he was going through a rough time. I’m his friend, I hugged him. He had just found out that his mother was attacked, probably by his father. I was trying to comfort him.”

“I don’t like it!” Craig snaps back at Andy, finally letting his jealousy show to him. “I don’t like that you’re so close to Donovan.”

Andy shakes his head, “I don’t understand why. I’ve been so open and honest with you about my friendship with him. What is it that you don’t like.”

“Have you been open and honest Andy?” Craig asks him quickly back. “Did you tell me that Donovan was here the day that you moved in? I wouldn’t know if I didn’t see you two in each other’s arms.”

“Oh God,” Andy moans. “You make sound like I was with him in our bed or something Craig. Do you really want me to run every single friend get together by you? Is that the kind of relationship we are going to have? If it is, let me know how and I will move right back out. I won’t be controlled like that. I didn’t mention Donovan’s visit with you because it wasn’t really anything important.”

Craig nods his head, “Right. You know how I feel about Donovan, but so you don’t tell me when you embrace him. I get it now.”

“Oh please. You know, I like you. I want this relationship to work Craig, but I will remind you that the main reason JC and I didn’t work out was because of his jealous issues.”

“It wasn’t that you fucked your ex behind his back?” Craig quickly spits out, immediately regretting it. “I didn’t mean that.”

“I think you did,” Andy replies as he stands up and walks to the front door. “Enjoy the rest of your day,” he says as he slams the door shut behind him.

Craig turns back around and looks out the window, “That went well,” he says to himself as he takes another sip of his beverage, wanting the alcohol to numb him.

Scene Four - Roboto; Bob’s Office

Bob sits at his desk looking over some files trying to stay focused on his business when in fact, it is the last thing on his mind. While he knows that he needs to continue to stay on top of Roboto’s numbers, he can’t help but be worried about Natasha and her whereabouts as no one has still heard from her since before Cory and Robin’s wedding. He and Shane still believe that the letter Shane received from Natasha is completely out of character for Natasha but none of his contacts have been able to locate her either. The more time that passes, the more worried he slowly becomes about his daughter.

He looks up when he hears his office door opens and Kim enters. “Hello my love,” she says as she closes the door behind her. “I’m not interrupting anything, am I?”

Bob sighs and quickly shakes his head, “I was just thinking about Natasha and how we have not heard from her yet. Kimberly, the PI you hired from New Jersey, has he uncovered anything at all?”

Kim sits on the large leather sofa in the office and puts her feet up on the coffee table, “I’m afraid not Bob,” she replies to him. “He said that there has been no transactions on any of her credit cards or her bank accounts. That being said, we all know how resourceful Natasha is. She could have had a lot of cash on hand before she left.”

Bob nods listening to what she’s saying, “This is true. I am just surprised no one has heard from her again since Shane received that letter.”

“My PI is doing a search of every hospital in the major cities in the US to ensure that she hasn’t been admitted,” Kim reveals to him. “If Natasha is hurt, we will find her Bob.”

Bob stands up and slowly walks over to his wife on the sofa. He sits next to her and grabs her hand, “Thank you. It means a lot to me that you’re going to this length to try to locate Natasha.”

“I know that you want to find your daughter and I want to help you if I can,” Kim replies to him looking into his eyes. “You know what I think you need?” she asks him as she purses her lips together.

“What’s that?”

“A distraction,” she smiles as she leans in and kisses him on the lips. “Let me take your mind off this for awhile.”

Their kiss turns more passionate as he starts to unbutton her blouse, “I like the way you think Kimberly,” he whispers to her as his mouth explores her neck.

Scene Five - The Calimo House; Leah & Paige’s Home

“Let’s play with your dolls,” Leah tells Paige as they sit in the living room floor with some toys scattered around them. After the last couple of months that Leah has had, the only thing she wants to do is spend quality, quiet time with her daughter. Since Robbie has told her that he wants a divorce and she stopped Jeff’s wedding, she has been feeling completely alone and unsure of where her life is headed. She knows that the best thing for her to do is focus on her daughter as she must be so confused by everything that has gone down lately.

“Here Mommy,” Paige says to her mother as she brings her two dolls. “This is the Mommy and this is the Daddy.”

Leah smiles at her daughter and moves some of Paige’s long hair behind her ears. “Yes, this is a family.”

Paige smiles then picks up another doll, “And this is their baby!”

Leah nods back to her before Paige stops and looks at Leah. “Mommy, where’s Daddy?”

Leah freezes at Paige’s question knowing that she means Robbie and he hasn’t been by to see Paige for a few days now. She knew that this part would be hard on her, but actually hearing Paige ask for Robbie feels like a dagger through her heart.

She looks back up at her child and forces herself to smile, “He’s at work baby. He’ll come home soon, okay?” she says back as she feels her eyes swell with water. “I promise you.”

She feels herself breathe a sigh of relief when she hears the front door bell ring. “Why don’t you take these dolls to the jeep over there,” Leah tells Paige as she passes her the dolls. “And Mommy will go see who is at the door.”

Paige takes the dolls as Leah stands up and walks to the front door. She sees her father standing on the other side of the door, “Oh Daddy,” she cries as she hugs him, letting some tears out of her eyes.

“I’m here,” Dominick replies to her as he holds her in his arms. “I’m here. You’re okay. You’re going to be just fine.”

They exit their embrace and enters the living room, “Grandpa!” Paige yells as she rushes up to Dominick and hugs him.

“Hi my precious little pumpkin. Look at all these dolls you have!”

“This is my family! I miss my Daddy,” Paige tells him back as Dominick’s eyes move up to Leah’s, who covers her mouth.

“You know your Daddy loves you very much, right?” he asks Paige, who nods her head. “So you see, when a Daddy loves his little girl, he will always be with you. Sometimes, you just have to look into your heart and feel him there. Close you eyes,” he tells Paige, who closes her eyes. “Now, look inside, can you feel your Daddy there?” he asks her as he points to her heart. Paige nods back to him, “You see, he’s always there with you.”

Paige opens her eyes and smiles back at him. “Thank you Grandpa!”

Dominick stands back at up and looks at Leah, who wipes her eyes from the tears. “How are you holding up?”

Leah rolls her eyes a little, “As well as to be expected.”

“Have you heard from Robbie at all?” he asks her as she shakes her head no. “You know he won’t stay away from Paige for too long. Despite everything, he loves that little girl with everything he has.”

“I know he does Daddy,” Leah replies to him quickly. “I just feel like …” she pauses as she collects herself again. “Everyone hates me.”

He moves closer to her to hug her again, “No one hates you Leah. You made a mistake and you’re trying to recover from that. It’s only natural that people will be upset. This will pass, you’ll see. I promise you things will get better.”

I hope so Daddy,” she tells him as they continue to embrace. “I don’t know how much more of this I can take. I really don’t.”

Scene Six - Roboto; Jeff’s Office

Jeff sits at desk looking over some files from the recent Roboto launch that he was a part of. He knows that they still have a lot of work to do as they have to maintain the competitive edge on Robertson Enterprises. Since Bob has made it very clear that he refuses to let Dominick win the cosmetics war, everyone at Roboto has been working over time to ensure that doesn’t happen.

While he reads the reports in front of him, however, Jeff, can’t help but think of the other on-goings in his life. Recently discovering that Paige is his biological was beyond a shock for him and he knows that he wants nothing more than to get to his know his daughter and ensure that she knows him as well. The fact that he has missed so much time of her life is even more of a motivation. After Noah died, he never believed that he would have the chance to be a father again. He looks at his desk and sees a picture of him and Veronica that was taken shortly after their engagement. He picks up the photo and recalls how Leah interrupted their wedding; had she not shown up and stopped the proceedings, he would be married to Veronica right now. He understands why she was upset and walked out at the church, but he wishes that she would have returned at least one of his calls since that day. He hasn’t seen her, or spoken to her and he is getting a little bit worried about what is going on with her. It’s not like her to not be in touch with him.

“Oh Veronica,” he whispers to himself as he puts the picture back down on his desk. “I wish I knew what was going on in your mind.”

“I guess there’s only one way to find out,” a voice replies to his words to himself from his office door. Jeff looks up and sees his fiancé standing in his office. “Hi,” Veronica says to him as she enters the office and closes the door.

“Veronica,” Jeff replies in surprise that she is standing in his office. “I’ve been trying to get a hold of you. How are you? I’m so sorry about what happened at the church.”

Veronica shrugs her shoulders and gives him half a smile, “I probably should have expected that after the truth about Paige came out.”

Jeff stands up and walks over to her, “I wish you hadn’t run out. I told Leah that she was out of place and she shouldn’t have stopped our wedding. We should be married.”

“Clearly she felt otherwise,” Veronica tells him knowing that Leah and Jeff have always had a pull together. “Our entire relationship there has been a third person Jeff. You know that and I know that. When we were in Boston, it wasn’t as apparent, but since we’ve moved back to Twin Peaks it has been very clear. That third person is Leah, the mother of both of your children.”

Jeff looks at her with a sadness, “I never cheated on you with Leah,” he quickly tells her.

“Maybe not physically Jeff,” Veronica replies to him. “But you’re heart was never fully mind. You’ve always held a spot for her and you can’t deny that.”

“I always will have a spot for Leah. What we went through after Noah died,” Jeff quickly says back to her, hoping that she will understand his connection to his ex-wife.

Veronica laughs a little, “How many other people have to hear that?” she asks him, keeping the smile on his face. “I know your history. I know the other women in your life Jeff. How many more of us have to go through this with you before you’ll realize that you’re still in love with Leah?”

“I’m not …” he starts to say.

“Don’t say that. It’s so obvious that you love her and that she loves you,” Veronica tells him as she gets water in her eyes. She puts her hand to her mouth trying to keep her composure, “I just hope that the next time you try to tell yourself that you’re not in love with her, you don’t hurt someone else.”

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

“It’s too late for that Jeff,” Veronica quickly replies back to him as she wipes her eyes. “I’ll be fine. I’m strong, I’m not some weak woman that can’t get over heartache.”

Jeff grabs her hands, “I hate that you’re not going to give us a chance. I do care for you.”

“I don’t doubt that Jeff,” Veronica smiles back to him. “But you love her. And as long as you do, we have nothing to talk about. I’m leaving town and moving back to Boston.”

Jeff’s eyes open wider in surprise, “What about Roboto?”

“I just came from Bob’s office where I gave him my resignation. I can’t stay here Jeff and I truly hope that you follow your heart and find what you need,” Veronica tells him. “I wish you nothing but happiness.”

Jeff watches as she turns and starts to leave his office, “Veronica,” he calls out making her stop and turn around at the door of his office, “I’ll miss you.”

Veronica gives him a nod before she leaves the office. Jeff looks at the door wondering if she’ll come back and tell him that she changed her mind. He sighs heavily wondering what he should do now.

Scene Seven - The Pier

Victoria looks out at the river as she tries to clear her head from the thoughts in her head. She hasn’t been able to stop thinking about a way to make her father pay for attacking her at Cory and Robin’s wedding and then attacking Eva on this very Pier a few days later. She still can’t believe that her father would do such a thing to her; after everything he has done to her in her childhood, she would have thought that his torment was over. Yet, here she stands wondering what to do about him attacking her … again.

“What have we ever done to you that you would want to hurt us?” she asks herself as she looks out at the river.

As she continues to ponder her thoughts, a black figure slowly approaches her. In the figures hand, there is a white cloth that is drenched in chloroform. Soon, the rag is over Victoria’s mouth. She tries to scream, but she is unable too as she soon passes out and her lifeless body falls to the wooden pier.

The black figure lowers their body to hover above her as they slowly remove the black ski mask from their face. Ernesto smiles over his daughters body and grins, “You’ll pay this time Marbella. You’ll pay.”
