Scene One - The Legal Firm; Natasha’s Office

“Are you sure the plane has left already?” Natasha asks urgently into the telephone as she sits at her desk. She recalls the day before at the Pampa Grill when she overheard Bob and Kim discussing the potential of eloping in Las Vegas. Immediately, Natasha knew that she would have to stop the wedding, however before she could confront them about their plans, Eva stopped her. Now, she is on the phone with the airport trying to determine if her father’s private jet has already taken off because if it hasn’t, she still has a chance of stopping him from making a mistake by marrying Kim.

“Please double check, this is urgent,” Natasha says back into the telephone. “I am Bob Calimo’s daughter and I am trying to locate my father.”

At the office doorway, Eva emerges and looks at her daughter on the telephone. Eva knows that Natasha hasn’t been very supportive of Bob and Kim’s romance, but she never thought Natasha would try to stop the wedding. She knows that Natasha probably doesn’t want to see her today but Eva wanted to come over and tell her why she stopped her from talking to Bob and Kim at the Pampa Grill the other day.

“Okay, thank you,” Natasha puts the phone down and covers her face with her hands trying to come to terms with the news that the plane has already left for Vegas; Bob and Kim will be married at some point in the day. Natasha hears Eva clear her throat and she looks up and sees her mother standing in her office. “What the hell are you doing here? You have a lot of nerve, you know that?”

“Natasha, please,” Eva replies calmly wanting her daughter to hear her out instead of barking at her.

“No Eva, you don’t know what you’ve done! My father is on his way to Vegas right now to marry Kim. Do you know what this means for my family?” Natasha spits at her.

“It means that your father may have happiness, something he probably didn’t expect to find after Sofia died,” Eva continues to keep herself composed by the verbal attack by Natasha.

“You’re no better than him right now Eva!” Natasha says standing up and learning over her desk. “You come back into my life telling me that you want to get to know me and have this mother daughter relationship that we never had. And what happens? Your past is exposed and you have been lying to everyone for years! You have more children that you never bothered to mention!”

Eva turns her head away from Natasha as she feels her eyes swell with water. She knows what Natasha is saying is true but she wishes that Natasha would throw it in her face because she is upset. “That’s not fair,” Eva finally whispers. “Don’t use that against me because you’re mad that I stopped you from ending Bob and Kim’s marriage.”

“My father has betrayed Robbie and I with his quick relationship with Kim. And you betrayed me by lying to me,” Natasha yells at her. “I don’t know if things will ever be the same. Now, please, get out of my office.”

Eva looks at Natasha, who has tears in her eyes too. “You can’t keep throwing people that love you away Natasha. One day, we may not be here when you want us to be.”

Natasha watches as Eva leaves her office. Natasha slowly falls into her chair and starts to weep. She has no idea how her family has got to this point and she has no idea how it will ever get back to normal again.

Scene Two - The Cascade Apartments, Apartment 307; Donovan’s Apartment

“Why’d you want to meet me here?” Donovan asks his sister as he passes her a glass of orange juice. “Usually when we are going out for lunch, I’d meet you at your condo, it’s closer to the Pampa Grill.”

Victoria arches her eyebrow and looks over at her brother, “I know. I just hate living there right now, if I am honest. Having Eva’s condo on the same floor as me, I didn’t want to risk the chance of running into her again.”

Donovan nods his head, “Ah, so the truth comes out,” he says teasing her a little. “But I get it. That would be weird for me too.”

“Anyways, we can talk more about that over lunch. What else is new with you?” she asks him, wanting to not talk about their family drama right now. She knows that she still has to tell him about going to see Ernesto the other day and handing him a restraining order. She would love to have a glass of wine in front of her before she gets into that with her brother, however.

Donovan sighs and remembers his lunch a few days earlier with Andy where they were chatting and getting to know each other. The lunch was cut short, however, because Donovan learned that Ernesto was out of jail.

“Really Marbella, not much is new,” Donovan replies to her, quickly realizing his slip. “Sorry, Victoria. I don’t know why I keep saying Marbella.”

Victoria laughs a little. “Do you have any … romantic interests?”

Donovan looks at her with widened eyes, “Where did that come from?”

Victoria shrugs her shoulders, “I don’t know Donovan. You know that I have that small crush on Robbie. You’re a young man, it’s bound to happen that eventually you will have some kind of romantic interest. You can’t be focused on all this family stuff all the time,” she replies to him, wondering if she’s struck some kind of nerve with her brother.

Donovan thinks back to his lunch with Andy and the smile on Andy’s face when they were laughing together. While he has never admitted it to anyone, he does think Andy is cute. He shakes his head, knowing that Andy has a boyfriend and Donovan would never may a pass at someone that is in a relationship; it’s not his style at all.

“Even if I did have a crush,” Donovan replies looking at his sister. “He has a boyfriend and I wouldn’t do jeopardize that relationship.”

Victoria smiles, thrilled that her brother at least has interest in someone. “You never know when things change,” she tells him. “Come on, let’s go for lunch. I want to hear about how hot this guy is!”

Donovan laughs, “Right. I’ll be sure to give you all the details!”

Scene Three - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Craig’s Office

Craig sits at his desk reviewing some files as he has a break from some seeing some patients at the moment. While he looks at them though, he can’t help but think back to the other day when he interrupted Andy and Donovan’s lunch. He doesn’t mind that Andy has other friends, but he does mind that Andy never mentioned his friendship with Donovan before and when he saw them together Andy had his hand on Donovan’s. Andy explained that Donovan just learned something about his family and he was comforting it, so Craig let it go but the more thinks about it the more it troubles him.

He sighs because he wants to trust Andy, but he his mind keeps going back to his relationship with JC where Andy cheated on him with Reese. Despite Andy claiming that he has changed and he learned his lesson from that, Craig can’t get the image of Andy’s hand on Donovan’s out of his mind. And Craig knows that Donovan is very attractive, why wouldn’t Andy be interested in him.

“Are you in the middle of something?” Andy asks opening the door to his office. He wanted to come over and see his boyfriend since he didn’t like how they felt things the last time they saw each other.

Craig looks up and sees his boyfriend standing there, “Kind of, I’m in the middle of appointments though so we can have some time. What’s up?”

Andy shrugs, “I don’t know. I didn’t like how we left things the other day at lunch.”

Craig smirks knowing that if it has been bothering him, then it’s nice to see that it’s been troubling Andy too. It shows that he cares. “What didn’t you like about it?”

Andy sighs and moves closer to the desk, “I really don’t want you to think that I’m cheating on you with Donovan. I really mean it when I say we are just friends.”

Craig stands up and walks over to Andy, “Thanks for telling me that Andy,” he says as he looks into his eye. “I will admit that I’ve been bothered by it, but I can see the sincerity in your eyes.”

Andy grabs his hands, “I really like what we have going on here and I don’t want to screw that up.”

Craig smiles back at him and leans in to give him a kiss. “Let’s not screw it up then,” he says as their lips part for a moment.

Andy leans in and kisses him passionately. Craig finally breaks the kiss and looks at him with lust in his eyes, “Should I lock my office door?”

“Yes, you should,” Andy winks back over to his lover as he makes his way over to the sofa in the office.

Scene Four - The Pampa Grill

“Okay, I will see you later?” Trenyce says as she hugs Daisy at their table. The two decided to have lunch together since they hadn’t had time to catch up lately. “Thanks again for lunch.”

“You’re welcome, and yes you will see me at home later. Have a good day Trenyce,” Daisy tells her niece as Trenyce rushes off from the restaurant. Daisy watches Trencye leave and feels so proud of how far she has come in the last year or so. It was around this time last year when Trenyce was suffering from an eating disorder and now she is working at Robertson Enterprises and has her own fashion line out.

Daisy picks up her black berry and looks at the time, “Shoot,” she whispers to herself realizing that she’s running late to get to city hall for a meeting that she has scheduled for the early afternoon. She starts collecting her belongings when she hears someone clear their throat at her table. “The cheque is on the table,” she says, assuming that it is the waiter looking for the bill.

“I was hoping I could join you for a moment,” Vinny smiles as he looks at her. He had been wanting to see her again since he surprised her with flowers on Valentine’s Day, but they have both been so busy with work that he hasn’t had the chance. He hopes that she is feeling better about Chris leaving town with Greta that he can finally make the next move that he has wanted to make for sometime.

“It will have to just be a moment,” Daisy replies to her friend as he sits next to her. “I have to run to a meeting at city hall.”

“Okay, I won’t keep you,” Vinny says back to her, still looking at her. “How have you been you? I haven’t seen you since Valentine’s Day.”

“I know,” she says. “I’ve been busy with work and Andrew. With Trenyce and I just watching him now, it can be tougher to juggle the schedule. How have you been Vinny?”

“I’m good Daisy. I have a question for you, and I hope you don’t think that it is out of line,” he continues as she arches her eyebrow. “I’d love to take you for dinner and maybe a movie or something like that.”

Daisy laughs a little thinking that Vinny is joking. She quickly stops when she realizes that he was being serious, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to laugh, I just haven’t been asked out on a date in a very long time.”

Vinny grins back at her, “How do you think I feel? I haven’t asked someone out on a date in a long time too. You didn’t give me an answer though.”

Daisy looks back at him before putting her head down. While she is flattered that he has asked her out on a date, she doesn’t think she is ready to make that kind of jump with anyone. She is still getting over the last betrayal from Chris. “It’s very sweet of you Vinny, and I do appreciate what you’re trying to do.”

“But?” he finishes her sentence for her. “You’re not ready?”

Daisy looks back at him and shakes her head no, “I’m sorry. Again, I really do appreciate what you’re trying to do for me.”

“I’m doing it for me too Daisy,” he replies to her. “I like you, I want to get to know you on another level. At some point, you have to realize that I’m not Chris and I would never hurt you the way he did.”

Daisy nods her head, “I know. It’ll just take some time, okay?”

Vinny nods head, despite feeling like a fool for asking her out on a date. “I’ll see you at the office later?”

“Yes, you will,” she replies to him, wondering if she will ever be able to trust someone again.

Scene Five - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn’s Home

Trenyce opens her car door and looks at the Black house. After she had lunch with Daisy earlier, she raced over to the Black house to meet with Casey as the two of them have afternoon plans to spend together. As she walks to the front door, she smiles at the thought of seeing him. She has really grown to enjoy his company and he is proving to be nice distraction from work and Andrew. She still can’t believe he surprised her with ice skating on Valentine’s Day. No one has ever made her feel as special as Casey has made her feel.

“Hey,” Casey smiles to her as he opens the door after she knocks. “How are you doing beautiful?”

“I’m good,” she says as she comes into the house. “It looks like spring is coming quickly.”

“I know, I can’t wait. I’ve never been a huge fan of snow and the cold,” he tells her as she takes her jacket off.

Trenyce enters the living room of the house and finds it oddly quiet. “Where is everyone? I was expecting to see Helen and Dawn,” Trenyce asks him, noting that they are alone in the house.

“Helen had to go out and Dawn is at daycare. She’s been going there more and more since Adam’s in the rehabilitation center. Helen can’t get everything done around the house,” Casey explains to her. “Are you okay with this? Being alone in the house with me?”

Trenyce laughs and comes up to her boyfriend, “Of course I’m okay with being alone with you. It gives us one on one time,” she says as she leans in and gives him a kiss on the lips.

He returns the lips with more passion, which at first takes her for a bit of a surprise, but she soon finds herself enjoying the passion from Casey. They part lips and she looks at him, “Wow, that was …” she says as she searches for the right word to describe her feelings. “Intense.”

“That’s just the beginning,” he winks at her. “I want you,” he says as he leans in and kisses her again.

Trenyce pulls back for a moment and turns around from Casey. She takes a deep breath knowing that she hasn’t been with a man since Chris years ago, the night she got pregnant with Andrew. In fact, that was the only time she was with a man.

“Are you okay? Was it something I said? Casey asks coming up behind her and putting his hands on her shoulder.

Trenyce shakes her head no, “It’s just … I don’t have much experience with this kind of stuff, you know? I’m nervous.”

“Don’t be, we can go as slow or as fast as you want,” Casey tells her back, trying to keep her calm. “Or we don’t have to at all.”

Trenyce turns back to face him, “No, I want to. I want you. Let’s just go slow, okay?” she smiles at him as she leans in and kisses him. “Let’s go to your bedroom Casey. I want you so badly too.”

Scene Six - The Pampa Grill

“I can’t believe we are actually in public as a couple again,” Robin smiles over to her husband as they sit at a table in the corner of the restaurant.

Cory looks back over at her and grabs her hand from across the table, “You better get used to this Robin,” he says to her. “Because I never want us to be apart again. Not more of this silliness that has been going for the last year or so.”

“I know,” she replies. “We are together and in love. That’s the way it should be.” In the back of her mind, she still does have a part of her that is worried about what Madeline may do now that she and Cory have reunited. Robin hopes that Madeline doesn’t decide to reveal Leah’s secret that Jeff is really Paige’s father, but she has to stop being worried about what someone else will do and focus on her own life; and Cory is the best part of her life.

“I hate to ask you this, but we should talk about your mother,” Cory says to her as their eyes lock.

“What about my mother?” Robin quickly asks him back wondering why he’s mentioning her name now. “Have you heard from her?”

Cory shakes his head, “No, I haven’t heard from Melissa. I was wondering if you had contacted her and told her that we were back together. I can’t imagine that she will be too pleased though, after everything she did to keep us apart.”

“I haven’t told her and I don’t really care what she thinks or how she feels,” Robin tells him. “All that matters is that you and I are together, the way it should be.”

“I like that,” Cory smiles over to her. “So much that I’ve been thinking about something.”

“Oh?” Robin asks as she arches her eyebrow. “What have you been thinking?”

Cory looks at her and leans forward towards her, “I want everyone in the world to know how much I love you and want to be with you.”

Robin giggles, “I think they know Cory.”

He shakes his head, “No, I mean, I want to express it to the world. Let’s renew our vows Robin. Let’s have another wedding to show everyone that we are back together for good this time. What do you say? Will you marry me … again?”

Robin leans forward and gives him a quick kiss on the lips, “Nothing would make me happier than to marry you again Cory. Let’s plan our wedding!”

Victoria and Donovan enter the restaurant and walk up to the hostess to confirm their reservation. As they wait for their table to be confirmed, they walk over to the bar where they see Natasha sitting and having a martini.

“Natasha,” Victoria calls as they approach the bar. “This is a nice surprise.”

Natasha turns and looks at her new found siblings with a small smile on her face. After her argument with Eva earlier in the day and learning that Bob and Kim will be married, she came to the restaurant and ordered a drink. She needed something to calm her nerves. She keeps replaying what Eva said to her over and over in her mind, that one day if she keeps pushing people away they won’t be there anymore.

“Hi guys, how are you?” Natasha says trying to sound cheerful.

“We are good, rough morning?” Donovan asks her as pointing to the martini.

Natasha rolls her eyes a little, “You have no idea. Sometimes life can be complicated, you know?”

“I think we are the definition of complicated right now,” Victoria laughs back at her.

Natasha laughs too, “You know guys, I know our first lunch was a little awkward, but I really would like to get to know you guys. We are family after all.”

Donovan comes up to her and puts his hand on her shoulder, “We’d like that too Natasha. We really would.”

***

In the back corner of the restaurant, Ernesto sips on an espresso coffee while one of his workers sits across from him. Since getting released from jail, Ernesto is trying to decide what his next move should be. He’s been slapped with a restraining order so he can’t go any where near Eva or Victoria because of the stalking charges, but he knows there is still work to be done. He would love nothing more than to collect his children and Eva and go back to Italy and try to be a family again. Even if Eva doesn’t want to join them, he wants his children back in his life. In his mind, their family was ruined when Eva faked her death and left the family alone.

He looks up when Jonas, his worker passes him an envelope, “You need to see this,” the man says in a low voice.

Ernesto arches his eyebrow as he opens the envelope, “What is this?”

“Something you should see.”

Ernesto finishes opening the package and sees photos from a few days earlier; shots of Donovan and Andy having lunch together, including pictures of Andy holding Donovan’s hand. Ernesto looks up at his henchman and feels his blood boil. “What the hell is this?”

“We’ve been following your children as you asked us to Ernesto,” Jonas explains to him. “Donovan and this fellow seem … close.”

“Close?” he asks not sure what he is referring to. “What do you mean close?”

Jonans leans in a little closer, “I think your son is a homosexual.”

Ernesto crumples the photos in his hand and shakes his head, “No, this can’t be,” he says grinding his teeth. “I refuse to allow this to happen.”

Scene Seven - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

“I’m sorry for dropping in unexpectedly like this,” Helen says to Shane as they sit next to each other on the sofa in his office. Helen has grown to enjoy having Shane as her confidant and with her relationship to Adam growing more and more unstable, she has been leaning on him more all the time. “I didn’t know where else to turn.”

Shane smiles over to her and puts his hand on her leg, “You know you don’t have to apologize Helen,” he says to her. “We are friends and I am here for you when you need something. I do think we should tell Natasha about us though. I would never tell her what we are talking about, but she seemed upset when I mentioned it before.”

“You told Natasha that we are talking?” Helen asks surprised that he is admitting this to her.

Shane thinks back to Valentine’s Day when he surprised Natasha with a romantic afternoon, and he ended up thinking about Helen was doing because she was confiding to him about her marriage troubles.

“I just mentioned that I was thinking of you and she didn’t understand,” Shane explains to Helen. “I was worried about you, that’s all.”

Helen gets a sly grin on her face, happy that Shane was thinking about her. “Well thanks for being worried, I am okay, I really am. I just enjoy these moments when we can talk. I don’t want many people knowing about my marriage to Adam, you know? I don’t want there to be a lot of gossip in the town about us.”

Shane nods his head, “That’s fair. I will just mention that we are confidants,“ he says as he can see a sadness in her face. “So has anything new happened that’s got you worried or upset?”

“Nothing with Adam exactly,” Helen replies to him as she looks at him in the eyes. “I guess, like you, I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately too.”

“You have?” Shane asks surprised that she’s been thinking about him. “You don’t have to worry about me, I’m completely fine.”

Helen laughs a little, “I know you are. That’s not why I have been thinking about you.”

Shane arches his eyebrow. “I’m not sure I understand then.”

Helen puts her hand on his face and moves it closer to her. “I’ve been thinking about this,” she says as she leans in and kisses him hard on the lips.

Scene Eight - Casino Royale Hotel; Las Vegas, Nevada

The door to the chapel opens and Kim emerges in a simple white dress. She looks down the aisle that consists of two rows of three chairs each on either side. At the end of the small aisle, Bob stands waiting for her with a minister and his wife, whom is serving as the witness to the wedding. She notices his wife start the music indicating that she is supposed to start walking.

As she walks, Kim can’t believe that she is about to marry Bob and become a Calimo. She never imagined that this would be her future, buts he can’t deny that Bob has made her so very happy, despite the many protests from his children.

She reaches the alter and looks at Bob, who is smiling back at her. “Are you sure you want to do this?” she asks him as he takes her hand, looking for final confirmation that they are doing the right thing.

“I’ve never been more sure about anything in my life Kimberly,” he replies to her. “You’ve made me realize that I can be happy again when I thought my entire world had ended. You brought me back to life.”

Kim feels her eyes swell with water as she looks over at the minister, “Okay,” she says as she exhales. “Let’s get married!”
