Scene One - The Calimo House; Robbie, Leah & Paige’s Home

Leah looks up from her plate of breakfast to see Robbie standing in the kitchen pouring himself another cup of coffee. The two of them haven’t said much to each other this morning and she sort of knows why. She can’t stop thinking about Jeff and his engagement to Veronica. The thought of Jeff moving on with another woman really bothers her, even though she knows that everything she has done the last few years within regards to lying about Paige’s paternity she has done so she could keep her family intact. As she looks at her husband in the kitchen, she wonders what he would do if he knew that she was feeling jealous of Jeff’s engagement. She shakes her head and knows that she has to put it out of her head. She loves Robbie; she wants to be with her husband and their daughter.

“What time do you think you’ll be home this evening?” she asks him, finally breaking the silence between the two of them.

Robbie finishes stirring his coffee and looks over at his wife. He can feel some kind of distance between them and he isn’t too sure of why or what is going on with them as they have always been so solid together. He thinks about her question for a moment and pauses, not knowing how long he’ll be at the office today. Since he arrested Ernesto Moretti on New Year’s Eve, he has been wanting to head over and check on Victoria to ensure that she is still holding up alright. With her father behind bars, he doesn’t have to be her personal security guard anymore but he still wants to ensure that she is doing okay with everything that went down.

“I’m not sure actually,” he says as he takes a drink of his coffee. “I want to go to see Victoria and make sure she’s doing okay.”

Leah arches her eyebrow at his response, “That seems like a generous move, you’re not her security guard anymore. Why would you care?”

Robbie pauses, again, and thinks back to some of the times he was with Victoria, including the night he held her after she had a nightmare. The scene of her still lingers in his head, and while he loves his wife, he is still a man. And in that moment, he can’t deny that there was an attraction to Victoria that has carried forward since then. “I realize that, it doesn’t mean that I don’t care about her and how she’s doing. She went through a lot learning her father is back in town and learning that her mother is actually alive.”

Leah sighs, “Yea, I guess she has.”

“What’s wrong? You don’t seem yourself this morning,” Robbie replies to her as he enters the kitchen.

“Nothing,” she quickly replies to him as she stands up. “We haven’t had much alone time together lately, so I was hoping that tonight we could. I get that you have to check on Victoria though.”

“Leah,” Robbie sighs, not realizing that she was going to be so upset with his decision. “Wait.”

“I have to get to the office Robbie, we’ll talk about this when I we see each other next. Whenever that may be,” she coldly replies to him as she leaves the dining room and grabs her briefcase.

Robbie hears the front door slam close and sighs as he puts his hand over his face. He isn’t entirely sure of where his wife’s distance is coming from, but he doesn’t like it. He hates feeling like they are not jiving. “I guess it will have to wait until we see each other again,” he whispers to himself, wondering why his wife has been do distant lately.

Scene Two - Roboto; Bob’s Office

“I know you’re busy, so I don’t want to take up too much of your time,” Kim tells Bob as they sit together on the sofa in his office. She knows that later in the day, he will be revealing the latest Roboto perfume and that will be his focus for the majority of the day. After she saw Andy the other day and he told her that she needs to shut out the people that aren’t happy for her, she has moved ahead with the wedding plans. She refuses to let people like Natasha ruin her wedding day.

“I always have time for you my love,” Bob smiles to her. “But I do have to launch a perfume later today. What’s on your mind?” he asks her, wanting to get back the launch. He is rather excited by the launch, but always wants to ensure Kim knows that he is there for her.

“I just have some ideas for the wedding that I wanted to run by you,” she smiles at him before she looks down at the large diamond on her ringer.

“You know you can have the wedding of your dreams Kimberly,” he tells her. “I want you to have the day you’ve always wanted to have. Anything you want, it is yours. You don’t have to run anything by me, just plan the day that you’ve always dreamed of.”

Kim gasps thinking about how much a real dream wedding may cost, “Anything I want? Bob, that could get expensive quickly.”

“I don’t care about the cost,” he replies to her. “I want to see you happy my love. It will all be worth it then.”

“You’re so good to me,” she smiles back to him.

“And you are to me,” he replies as he leans in and gives her a quick kiss on the lips. “Have you asked Natasha to be your maid of honour?”

She stands up and grabs her purse, “I did and she said no. But you know what? I don’t care about that anymore. If she doesn’t want to see me get married then that is her choice. I am still going to marry you and no one can stop it.”

Bob nods back to her a little unsettled that Natasha is still being difficult with their relationship. “Would you like me to speak to Natasha?” he offers her.

“No, there’s no point Bob. She’s made her point loud and clear. Let’s just focus on us, okay?”

He grabs her hand and squeezes it, “Okay, I can do that.”

Scene Three - The Sugarbowl

Madeline enters the coffeehouse and puts her arms around herself to try to warm herself up. The winter air gave her a chill so she is happy to be in the coffeehouse before she heads to the office to start work. She is having a hard time thinking of what else she can do in her personal life to keep Cory away from Robin. She has threatened to go public with the fact that Paige is really Jeff’s daughter not Robbie’s, but Robin has since called her bluff not believing Madeline would really tell anyone. To make matters worse, Madeline asked Cory if he still loves his wife and he said yes. She still believes that there could be a chance for her and Cory, if only Robin was not in the picture. She knows that Robin has pulled a trump card though because Madeline does not want to reveal Paige’s paternity to anyone. She realizes that she has to do something drastic, however, or she will lose Cory for good. She can’t think about letting that happen.

As she places her lid on her coffee and she turns to exit, she spots Jeff sitting in the back corner of the coffeehouse. He’s reading something on his phone and doesn’t spot Madeline, but something pushes her towards his table. “Jeff, hi,” she says causing him to look up from his phone and smile at her.

“Hi Maddie! How are you?”

“I’m alright, how are you doing?” she asks as she sits across from him. “You don’t mind if I join you for a moment, do you?”

He shakes his head, “Not at all,” he tells her. “I’m doing good. I actually have some news that I’d like you to hear from me.”

Madeline arches her eyebrow and wonders what he could possibly have to tell her.

“I asked Veronica to marry me. We are getting married,” he explains to her, still thrilled that she said yes.

“Wow,” Madeline grins back to him. “That’s wonderful news. I wasn’t expecting you to say that, but that is really awesome. I’m happy for you. Both of you.”

“Thank you,” he replies to her. “You seem down about something, is everything okay?”

Madeline feels her eyes swell with water, “I’m fine,” she lies to him. “Honestly, I am happy for you Jeff. I’m glad that you’ve been able to find that special person in your life that you want to spend the rest of your life with.”

“You will find that guy too Madeline,” he replies back to her, noticing that she is still upset about something. “Don’t sell yourself short, you’ve a beautiful woman.”

She rolls her eyes slightly, “Sometimes things get so complicated, you know?”

He smiles over at her, “I do. I’ve been there, remember?” he laughs with her, recalling their past romance together.

“Can I ask you a question?” she asks him back as he nods his head. “If you could have one thing in the world, anything, what would it be?”

Jeff sighs, “Wow, that’s a loaded question Madeline. Where is this coming from?”

She shrugs, “I don’t know. Sometimes I think I just need that one thing in my life and everything else will fall into place, you know? What would that be for you?”

Jeff looks down before looking back at her, “What I want will never happen, could never happen. It’s impossible.”

“What is it?”

“To have Noah back alive. To have my child with me again, I would give anything to have that again,” he replies to her, trying not to get too emotional with her. He takes a deep breath and smiles at her, “I told you it was impossible. Sorry for getting so deep.”

Madeline gives him a fake smile back to him and suddenly realizes that she could at least help him with his desire. She could give him the child he wants to have in Paige. She sighs and feels like knowing this secret may be a blessing in disguise after all. She could get back at Robin and help Jeff at the same time.

Scene Four - Twin Peaks Rehabilitation Center; Adam’s Room

Adam lays in his bed and looks out the window as his mind is racing about the other day when Helen was visiting him and she told him that their marriage is falling apart because of his disbelief in her about the night of the shooting. He can’t understand why his memories are of her holding the gun when she is claiming it was Casey that shot him. Adam shakes his head and wonders what he will have to do to save his marriage. He hates that Helen thinks their marriage is falling apart because of this, even though apart of him knows that his relationship with here has been rocky for some time now. Still, hearing those words come out of her mouth were a hard pill to swallow.

“If only I could remember,” he whispers to himself as he shuts his eyes and tries to focus on the night of the shooting. He tries to recall more details of the night, but he finds it even hard to recall the memories he has already had. He opens his eyes and wonders why he can’t recall walking into the house and seeing Helen with the gun like he had before. He tries to focus again, but still nothing comes back to his mind.

“Damn it!” he yells in frustration as he wonders why his memory is failing him now that he needs it more than ever. “I can’t give up. I have to remember exactly what happened that night. For the sake of my marriage I have to remember.”

He stops talking to himself when he hears a knock on his door and Casey enters. “Hi Adam,” he says as he enters the room. “How are you feeling today?”

“I’m fine Casey, what brings you by?” Adam asks coldly to his brother in law. When Adam is around Helen, he will be civil to Casey but if Helen is telling the truth and Casey did shoot him, Adam has no time for him in his life, regardless of the fact that Casey is Helen’s brother.

“I wanted to make sure you were okay,” Casey replies quickly to Adam. “Helen told me she couldn’t make it over here until later. I thought I would be nice.”

Adam rolls his eyes at Casey and replies to him, “You want to be a good guy, huh? That’s ironic since Helen is telling me you were the one that shot me.”

Casey folds his arms across his chest, “It was a mistake. Helen continued to convince me that you were a bugler. I thought you and Helen discussed this already. I don’t know why you always have to throw this in my face. Don’t you think I feel bad enough?”

“I don’t know Casey, do you feel bad? I know if I would shoot someone accidentally, I would say, you know, I’m sorry! But you haven’t said that. You haven’t done much of anything since you just showed up in town!” Adam spits back at him. “But hey, I’ll give you a chance to make it up to me.”

“What are you talking about?” Casey asks, growing increasingly fed up with how Adam is talking to him.

“Tell me the truth about the night of the shooting. Tell me everything that happened that night Casey,” Adam glares into his brother in laws eyes.

Casey gulps and turns around quickly, “I …” he begins to say back to Adam. “I don’t like going over it again Adam. I hate that I am responsible for putting you in this place. Please don’t make me rehash it all.”

“I need to know the truth!” Adam yells at him. “Look at me Casey!” Adam continues to lay into him. Casey finally turns back around and looks at Adam.

“I need to get going,” Casey replies quickly to Adam. “I’ll tell Helen that you want her to go over that night with you again. See ya later,” he says before he leaves.

Adam lays back in his hospital bed and sighs. “Something isn’t adding up here,” he says to himself, as he tries to get his heart rate back to normal after his argument with Casey. “But what is it?”

Scene Five - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Shane’s Office

Shane stands from his desk and picks up the file that is sitting in front of him as he prepares to leave his office and go see one of his patients. He looks up when he hears his door open and Helen slowly walks in. She smiles at him slowly as she closes the door to his office.

“I hope I’m not interrupting,” she says as walks up to his desk. “I just didn’t know where else to turn.”

Shane immediately assumes the worst, “What’s wrong? Is it Dawn?”

Helen shakes her head, “No, nothing like that. I guess I just needed a friend to talk too.” While Helen has tried, she can’t get the memory of her fight with Adam out of her head. He was so angry and cold to her; she tried to defuse the situation to the best of her ability but the anger between them still lingers.

“I have only a few moments, but I’m always here for you Helen,” he replies to her as he walks over to the sofa in his office. “What’s going on?”

Helen moves and sits beside him on the sofa, “Adam and I …” she begins to say softly. “I just feel like we are in two totally different worlds these days.”

“He is in the hospital working to regain his leg strength,” Shane reminds her of her husband’s medical issues right now. “I can’t imagine how hard it must be for him right now to be away from you and Dawn as much as he is.”

“I appreciate that,” Helen replies to him. “I think this gap between us started long before he went to the rehabilitation center though.”

“When do you think this began?” Shane asks, some what surprised by her admission. He always believed that Adam and Helen were one of the strongest couples that he knew; despite going through so much they always seem to be at each other’s side.

“Honestly?” she asks him as her eyes lock with his and he nods his head back to her. “Probably when we believed Dawn was dead. It was such a painful time for both of us but Adam blamed me for her death. That wedge that went between us then has never really healed. It’s just sort of grown and has gotten wider. I …” she says as she covers her mouth as she feels tears coming out of her eyes.

He quickly pulls her into a hug, “I’m sorry Helen, I had no idea,” he whispers into her ear.

“It’s fine,” she replies to him as a tear falls down her cheek. “I guess I’m just glad that I have friends like you that I can talk to about this. I hope you don’t think any less of me,” she continues as they exit their embrace.

“Of course not,” he reassures her. “I’m glad that you feel like you can trust me. I’m always going to be here for you. We are forever bonded because of Dawn.”

Helen gets a small smile on her face, “Yea, she’s one special little girl that’s for sure.”

“And her mother is one special woman,” Shane smiles back to her. “Make sure you remember that, okay? Don’t be so hard on yourself with this Adam stuff. You can only do and feel what you do and feel. Whatever will come from that, will come.”

“Thanks,” she nods as she wipes her cheek from her tears. “I really appreciate that Shane.”

Scene Six - Roboto; Bob’s Office

“So we are just going to wait here for the big announcement?” Jeff asks as he takes a sip of his water as he looks at Bob and Leah, who are standing over by Bob’s desk looking at Bob’s laptop.

They are waiting for Bob to get confirmation that department stores are opened for business all featuring the new Roboto line that they have been busy working on. After all the months of work, they are all so happy that relieved that the day has finally arrived for the launch.

“Exactly Jeff,” Bob replies to him, knowing that this is Jeff’s first time launching a new perfume into the cosmetics world. He, meanwhile, has done this more times than he cares to remember. It’s almost routine for him.

“Are you sure not having a huge fashion show like Dominick and Robertson had last summer was a good idea?” Jeff asks again, knowing that part of the reason Dominick’s Blooming Rose launch was so huge was because of the fashion show that he tied into it.

“Absolutely,” Bob defends himself and his decision. “The reason Dominick had to have a huge sceptical of a launch is because Robertson Enterprises is an unknown name in this business. Roboto has years of experience, the customer knows our name and our brand. The television and print advertising together with your new website will be all we need to sell this product because the perfume will sell itself. Veronica did an amazing job on the new scent,” Bob explains to Jeff, who takes it all in.

“He’s right,” Leah continues to tell Jeff. “We don’t need any gimmicks. It’s not our companies style. We have to continue to do what do we best, that’s what the public expects from us.”

“Trust us Jeff,” Bob relays to him. “We know what we are doing. This will all work out for the best, I have no doubt.”

“Okay,” Jeff replies to them, knowing that they have more experience than he does in this department.

They all look at each other as they hear the ping noise come from the labtop, meaning that Bob has a new email in his inbox. Bob slowly walks around his desk and looks at the screen and types on the keyboard. He looks up to them and smiles, “The first Macy stores have opened and around 500 stores around the country are already sold out! It looks like we have a hit on our hands …”

“This is fantastic!” Leah giggles in delight. “You know what this calls for you, don’t you?”

Jeff walks over to the desk with a grin on his face. “I’m so pleased,” he says as he shakes Bob’s hand. Leah soon replies with a bottle of champagne and opens the bottle.

“We have to celebrate!” she smiles as she starts to pour some champagne for the three of them.

Scene Seven - The Legal Firm; Natasha’s Office

Natasha hangs up the phone on her desk and sighs. She runs her hands through her long blonde hair frustrated by how her telephone call went. She has been busy at the firm lately and she is starting to feel the stress of all of the work load.

Not only is she consumed with her working however, but she is unable to stop thinking about the visit that Will paid her the other day and informed her about Eva’s past, including that Victoria and Donovan are her children. Natasha is still stunned that her mother didn’t have the decency to tell her that she has more siblings, especially because they had agreed not to have anymore secrets between each other. A part of Natasha feels like a complete fool for even trusting Eva, something that she didn’t really do until recently when she agreed to give her a chance. After Sofia’s death, Natasha thought that she was doing the right thing by reaching out to Eva, but now that seems like it was not the best decision for her to have made.

“I have to stop thinking about this,” she whispers to herself as she tries to refocus on her work load. “I can’t change what she’s done.”

“What who has done?” a woman’s voice is heard at the doorway to Natasha’s office. Natasha looks up and sees Eva standing in her office.

“What are you doing here?” Natasha replies to her mother coldly. “I have a lot of work to do.”

Eva sighs and can feel the chill from her daughter. She wonders if somehow someone got to Natasha before she has had the chance to come and tell her what has been going on. She slowly walks up to the desk, “Are you alright Natasha? I feel distance from you.”

“Do you?” Natasha says putting her pen down and looking up at Eva. “Well you should. I know about your lies! Will was here and he filled me in on everything. Imagine that? Will had to tell me that I had a brother and sister, I didn’t even find out from you.”

Eva pauses and feels her heart move into her throat. “Please Natasha, let me explain …” she begins to say.

“Explain what? How you lied to me after you promised me that you had no more secrets? After we agreed to mend our relationship and start from scratch? You betrayed me!” Natasha yells out at her mother, still unable to comprehend how she has been lying to her for so long. “How could you ignore the fact that you had more children out there Eva? It makes me sick that you can tell me one day that you are desperate for us to get to know each other, meanwhile you’ve been turning a blind eye on your other children.”

“That’s not what I was doing,” Eva replies as tears form in her eyes. “You have no idea what I went through or what my other children went through.”

“And how would I know? You never told me about anything! You can play this sympathy card with someone else, I’m not buying it,” Natasha explains to her. “Now get out of my office and don’t come back. I don’t have time for liars in my life and that includes you.”

“Natasha…” Eva begins to say as Natasha picks up her phone and starts to dial another number. Eva realizes that she won’t be able to get through to her daughter while she’s in this state. She turns and walks out of the office. Outside the doorway, Eva turns and looks at Natasha at her desk and feels her heart break inside. She wishes there was something, anything, that she could do make her understand why she did what she had to do. The more Eva thinks about it, though, the more she realizes that everyone in her life is turning their back on her.

Scene Eight - The Tower’s, Floor Eight; Victoria’s Condo

“I’m coming,” Victoria calls out as she hears a knock on her front door. She quickly walks over, still wearing her robe and holding a cup of coffee. On her days off from the hospital, she tends to have more relaxing starts to her day. She opens the door and sees Robbie standing there. She quickly covers her body move with her robe, not wanting to him to see her so exposed. “Robbie, this is a surprise.”

Robbie grins at her and nods, “Hey, I hope it’s not too early to stop by.”

“Of course not,” she says as she welcomes him into her home. “What’s going on?”

Robbie turns and looks at her and can’t help but again notice how attractive she is. Her robe is rather short, so it exposes her long, smooth legs. He gulps a little and then makes eye contact with her again, “After everything that has happened, I wanted to make sure you were okay.”

Victoria smiles back at him, “That’s sweet of you, but I’m fine, I promise.”

“I can’t imagine what you’ve been going through though. Learning your Dad is back and that your mother is alive after all this time. It must be a lot to take in.”

“It has,” she replies to him. “But with my Dad in jail, I know that I’m safe. I just hope we can make some of these charges stick, you know?”

Robbie nods, “I’m not sure that they will. I wanted to know if there’s anything else I can do to help you Victoria. Anything you need, I’m here for you.”

“Thanks Robbie,” she replies as she comes up to him and hugs him. As he holds her, she notices how strong his arms feel around her and she gulps, trying not to have her attraction grow for him. “There is something you can do for me.”

They part but remain close to each other. “What’s that?” he asks her as they look into each other’s eyes.

“You can take me to see my father. I want to see him Robbie, I want to see my Dad.”
