Scene One - City Hall; Daisy's Office

Chris slowly walks up to Daisy's office and gulps before he knocks on it. He recalls getting an urgent call from Greta telling him that Daisy had fired her because she saw Greta and Chris kissing on Thanksgiving. He can't believe that Daisy has learned the truth before he and Greta had a chance to tell her what was going on between them. He can't imagine how hurt and upset Daisy must be feeling right now as once again he was caught with his pants down. He hopes that Daisy will hear him out and be able to forgive him, yet again for his digressions even though he realizes it is asking a lot.

He opens the door and slowly enters the office, "Daisy?" he calls out as he doesn't see her at her desk. He walks further into the office and still doesn't see his ex-wife. "Daisy?" he calls out again seeing if maybe she's in one of her adjoining rooms that are connected to her office.

The door from the adjoining room opens and Vinny emerges at the door way. "She's not here," he says quietly to Chris, even though he's livid at what he has done. Daisy ended up calling him and confiding in him as she needed someone to talk to about the entire ordeal. He knew that something was going on between Chris and Greta when he overheard Greta leaving him a voicemail a few weeks earlier, but Vinny had hoped Chris wasn't playing Daisy. The last thing he wanted was for Chris to hurt Daisy again, but that's exactly what happened. "You have a lot of nerve showing your face here."

"Oh shut up Vinny," Chris quickly barks back at him not in the mood to deal with him today. "Where's Daisy?"

"I don't think that's any of your concern," Vinny walks towards him. "You've done enough damage to her, you need to stay away from her Chris. I mean it! Daisy doesn't need to see you! Not now, not ever again."

"Do not tell me what I can and can not do with Daisy," Chris replies grinding his teeth in anger. "What happens between the two of us is none of your business.!"

Vinny can't help but break into laugher hearing Chris speak. "You have no idea, do you? Let me tell you something Chris," Vinny quickly gets serious again. "She came to me after she saw you and Greta kissing. She confided in me about how hurt she was. This is as much my business as anyone's because Daisy made it my business. If you don't like that, you bring it up with her."

"Don't worry," Chris replies to him as he walks towards the door. "When I find her, I will."

Scene Two - Roboto; Bob's Office

Bob can't stop looking at the file in front of him on his desk. He's had it opened before but when he got into the office today he opened it again and hasn't closed it. He's reviewing the latest sales figures that show Robertson Enterprises and the Blooming Rose far ahead of all the competition, including Roboto. Bob still has a hard time believe that the Blooming Rose has been so successful. He was positive that Dominick would fail at his first attempt to have a perfume line. Bob would never admit it to anyone but the fact that Dominick tied in a fashion line was a stroke of brilliance; it makes Bob realize that his new line will have to be more than just a perfume as well and he's planning to do an complete cosmetics line that will tie into the perfume. Eye shadow, mascara, lip stick, lip gloss, blush, the whole nine yards. He shakes his head after realizing that he's still far away from achieving his goal of the launch.

He turns his head as his office door opens and he watches as Leah and Jeff step inside. "We have a very rough version of the new website complete," Jeff quickly tells his boss as he and Leah have been working over time to try to the new website completely quickly. "We want your approval before we do the final touches."

"I'm eager to see what you've come up with," Bob replies to them. "I spoke to Veronica earlier this morning too and she's in the final stages of the new perfume. I want her to have an attaching men's fragrance to accompany the new female scent. We have to go at this will everything we've got."

"I couldn't agree more," Leah chimes in. "Which is why this website is so key for you to approve. We tried to tie in the colours of the ad campaign as much as we could."

Bob nods his head listening to what they are saying to him. "I have more work for the two of you," he explains to them. "I want more than just perfume. I want an entire line with the same name. Every type of make up you can get, I want it to be available, blush, lipstick, everything you can think of. That means, you two need to work on that together. We need to get this out quickly. I'd love to have the first launch out before Valentine's Day so we can eat up that market."

"That's soon," Jeff replies to both of them, wondering if they can pull it off that quickly. "But I'm up for the challenge if you are Leah."

Leah smiles, "Of course I am. I want this to be the best line Roboto has ever had."

"It will be," Bob tells them with a devilish grin on his face. "I simply will not allow for anything less."

Scene Three - The Sugarbowl

Andy enters the coffeehouse to grab a caffeine fix before he heads into the Sun offices for the day. He can't help but give himself a quick grin as he thinks back to his first date the other evening with Craig Benton. He was initially surprised that Craig even suggested that they go out on a date because he is just getting out of a relationship with JC and because Craig had been casually dating Reese, and the last thing Andy wanted was to get into another complicated situation with Reese. Andy was, however, pleasantly surprised to discover that he and Craig had a lot in common, and there was an obvious mutual attraction.

He pays for his coffee and walks over to the coffee bar to add his cream and sugar when he hears the bell on the front door ring as someone else walks into the Sugarbowl. He turns his head slightly to see a man walk in; Andy quickly turns back around to get another look at the guy. Andy is immediately attracted to the man entering the coffeehouse. For some reason, Andy feels like he has seen the guy before, but he can't place him. His dark hair and nice suit makes Andy feel slightly weak in the knees at the sight of him. Suddenly, it dawns on him where he has seen the attractive man before. Before he knows what he is doing, Andy starts to approach the guy.

"Hey," he smiles to the guy, who is waiting in the line up to get his coffee. "I'm Andy Spinnes, you work with Trenyce, don't you?"

Donovan looks at Andy and nods slightly, feeling a little awkward by a stranger coming up and approaching him. "I do," he replies uneasily.

"I thought you looked familiar," Andy tells him. "I'm one of her best friends.

Suddenly it dawns on Donovan who Andy is. He has heard Trenyce say the name a few times, including when he came out to her and she confessed that some of her best friends were also gay. "Ah yes, I've heard the name before. It's nice to put a face to the name. I'm Donovan Moretti."

Andy shakes Donovan's hand, "It's nice to meet you," he tells Donovan. "I haven't heard Trenyce mention anything about a second date with you. You guys did have a dinner date, right?"

Donovan chuckles a little and puts his head down. "I guess you could call it that," he admits. "I'm newer to town, so I had asked Trenyce out as a friend. I think she assumed it was a date, but for me it was just a friendship thing."

Andy nods, "I see."

"I'm gay Andy," Donovan tells him back looking into his eyes. "That's why I'm not dating Trenyce."

Andy feels his cheeks turn slightly red. He can't believe that the hot guy in front of him is gay, his gaydar wasn't going off at all. Not that he is complaining, he definitely likes what he sees in front of him. "Ah, well then, if you ever want to grab a drink or something, let me know. I'd be willing to take you to the gay bar here and you can get out and meet people."

Donovan smiles, "I'd like that Andy, thanks a lot!"

Scene Four - River Side Delicatessen

"Thanks for agreeing to have an early lunch with me," Casey smiles as he sits across the table from Trenyce. "This isn't exactly what I had in mind for our first date, but with everything going on with my sister right now, it's hard for me to find time to get away from the hospital."

Trenyce looks up from her roast beef sandwich and smiles over at her date. From the first time she met Casey, she has been very attracted to him. When he called and asked her to meet him for lunch today, she didn't want to say no. It helps that she had the morning off from Robertson Enterprises and Andrew was being taken care of by Daisy, so she agreed. "It's my pleasure," Trenyce finally replies to him. "I've been wanting to check this place out for some time now. Plus, I've been looking forward to seeing you again."

Casey arches his eye brow and looks over at her, "Have you now? Why's that?"

Trenyce feels herself blush a little as she takes a bite of her sandwich. "I've grown to enjoy your company. I mean, the few times we've ran into each other at the coffeehouse. It's nice to actually sit down and get to know each other."

"I agree, it is," Casey replies to her. "Like I told you before, I'm new to the city so it's nice to have a friend."

Trenyce nods her head as the word friend. She can't help but think about her recent experience with Donovan, where she was under the impression that they were going out on a date but he later revealed that he just wants to be friends with her because he is gay. She hopes that she isn't going down a similar path with Casey. "I can be your friend," she tells him back, hoping that he'll say something that will give her an indication that it could be more than friendship.

Casey notices her put her head down and wonders if he should make another move. He knows that Helen probably wouldn't be very happy with the fact that he is out on a date with a girl, but he doesn't want to spend all of his time at the hospital or at her house watching Dawn. He can still follow their plan and have a life outside of it. He reaches over and grabs her hand and holds it for a moment, "I hope I didn't scare you with the word friend, Trenyce."

She looks over at hands and then up at him, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, I like you and feel a spark, or something, between us," he tells her as he looks into her eyes.

She nods and smiles at him, "I feel it too."

"Good, then let's see where this goes, okay?"

"Okay," she smiles at him as she feels the butterflies in her stomach start to flutter.

Scene Five - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn's Home

Helen watches Dawn play with some her toys in the living room as she sits on the sofa drinking a cup of coffee. She looks at the clock on the mantel and sighs knowing that she has to get ready to go back to the rehabilitation center to see Adam. She knows that he is struggling with trying to regain his leg strength, but she hopes that he will be able to walk again soon. She looks over and sees the place where Adam was shot. She still shudders when she sees the exact spot that it all happened. There was so much blood; there was this deafening silence after it all happened. She stands up and walks over to the spot where Adam laid when he was shot and kneels down. She puts her hand on the floor and looks up and sees the basement door, which is shut and locked. She shakes her head and walks back into the living room.

She picks Dawn up, "Should we get ready to go see Adam?" she asks the little girl, who nods her head.

"Daddy!" Dawn says back to Helen.

Helen smiles and puts her back down on the ground, "You stay here, and Mommy will go get ready, okay?"

Helen is about to walk out of the living room when she hears the front door bell ring. She walks over to the door and opens it and freezes when she sees Natasha on the other side of the door. "Natasha?" Helen asks, "This is a surprise. Please come in," Helen says as she welcomes her into the house.

"Thank you," Natasha smiles as she enters the living room. "It's freezing out there today. Hi Dawn!" Natasha says to the small child as she bends down to give the girl a hug hello.

"Would you like a cup of coffee?" Helen asks her. "I was just enjoying a nice morning before heading out to see Adam."

"I'd love one," Natasha replies to her. "How is Adam doing? I'm sorry I haven't come by sooner to see how he is doing."

Helen pours Natasha a cup of coffee and brings it over to her in the living room. "Don't apologize, I know that you've been busy. Shane has been sending your best wishes every time I see him. He's been a life saver to this family."

Natasha smiles at Helen's comments towards her fiancé because she knows that Shane works so very hard at his job. Plus, she knows that Shane has wanted to be there for Helen because he was the one who raised Dawn for the first year of her life because of the baby switch Cassie initiated. "He is wonderful," she muses back to her friend.

"I hear congratulations are in order for the two of you," Helen quickly says before she takes a drink of her coffee.

Natasha grins and shows Helen her engagement ring, "I couldn't say no when he asked him. After everything we've been through, I'm thrilled that we are finally going to be husband and wife."

Helen nods and smiles back to her friend.

"That's part of the reason I'm here," Natasha begins to tell her. "I was hoping you'd do me the honour of being my maid be honour at my wedding to Shane."

Helen freezes as she wasn't expecting Natasha to ask her the question. She shakes her head no, "I'm sorry Natasha, but I just can't say yes. I really am sorry."

Natasha arches her eye brow as Helen gets up from the sofa and walks away. "Oh," she says to Helen. "That's not the answer I was expecting."

Helen turns back around and fakes a smile to her, "It's just, with everything going on with Adam right now, I don't think I'll have the time that you deserve on your wedding to Shane. You need someone that can be there with you every step of the way. That can't be me, not with everything else going on in my life right now. You understand, right?"

Natasha stands up, walks over to Helen and hugs her for a moment. "I'm the one who should apologize. I never even thought of that. I shouldn't have been so insensitive."

They exit their embrace and Helen looks at Natasha, who looks like she may start to cry. "I didn't mean to make you cry."

"It's not that," Natasha replies as she wipes her eye. "It's just, with everything going on with Kim and my father, you're my next best friend and the last thing I wanted to do was take you away from your family. I know that you need to be there for Adam."

Helen sighs and looks at her, "Natasha," she says causing Natasha to look up at her friend. "Maybe we can work something out? I mean, I am honoured that you asked me."

"You mean it? You think it can work?"

Helen nods uneasily. "Thank you so much Helen. If it ever becomes too much, you just let me know, okay?"

"I will," Helen fakes a smile over to her friend, wondering what she just got herself Into.

Scene Six - The Calimo Mansion

Bob opens the front door to the mansion and looks around. He throws his briefcase down with his jacket on the bench near the door and he walks into the living room. The fireplace is roaring as Kim sits on the sofa reading a book and holding a glass of red wine. She looks up and sees Bob coming into the living room, "You're home earlier than I anticipated," she smiles to him as she stands up and hugs him. "Can I make you a drink?"

He smiles back at his lover as they exit their embrace, "I'd love that. I had a long day at the office. A productive day, but it was a long day."

Kim walks over to the bar and starts to pour him a brandy, "I hope the work was involving the new line you're working on," she tells him as she brings him the drink.

"Of course," he says as he accepts the brandy. "Let's have a toast my dear."

Kim picks up her wine glass and looks into his eyes, "What shall we drink to?"

"Us," he tells her as he looks into her eyes. "I hope you know how much I adore you and how you have made me feel alive again in a time when I never thought that would be possible again."

Kim feels her heart skip a beat when she hears Bob speak to her, "I know Bob and thank you for saying that to me. I hope it's not inappropriate for me to say this to you, but I've fallen head over heels in love with you."

Bob leans in and gives her a passionate kiss. "That's good because I love you too," he tells her as they part their lips from each other.

"Really?" she asks.

"Really!" he tells her. "Sit down, I have something for you," he instructs her as they sit on the sofa beside each other.

"What do you have for me?" Kim asks, getting excited as she has always loved surprises.

"Well," Bob tells her as he puts his brandy down on the coffee table in front of them. "I want this feeling to last forever. I want you to feel protected forever. I want you to be with me forever."

Kim feels her eyes swell with water as she grabs Bob's hand, "I'm not going any where Bob."

He reaches into his pocket and pulls a small black box. "I hope not Kimberly," he says as he opens the box and reveals a huge diamond ring. "Marry me? Let's make this official!"

Kim's eyes open wide as a tear escapes her one eye. "I….I don't know what to say. The ring is so beautiful."

He places the huge rock on her finger, "You just have to say yes."

She looks at the ring on her finger then looks over at Bob. "Yes, I'll marry you Bob! I will be your wife!"

Scene Seven - The Michael's House; Chris, Daisy, Trenyce & Andrew's Home

"You're home earlier than I thought," Daisy tells Trenyce as she comes into the house with a huge grin on her face. She is still on a high from her first date with Casey, not that she wants to rush anything, but she is happy that they are at least on the same page.

"I could tell that something was going on with you earlier," Trenyce admits to her Aunt as she comes into the living room and sits next to Daisy on the sofa. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Daisy looks at Trenyce and immediately feels her eyes swell with water. She is still struggling with the fact that Chris and Greta both played her for a fool. Vinny had approached her with the news that he believed they were carrying on with an affair and she refused to believe him, especially after Greta told her that nothing was going on. Now that she knows the truth, she wants nothing more to do with Chris or Greta and firing Greta was the first step of it all.

"I guess you'll find out sooner rather than later," Daisy replies to her softly.

"Find out what?"

"Chris and Greta, they've been …" Daisy begins as she feels her voice crack. "Having an affair. They've lied to me about it for weeks, but I saw them kissing on Thanksgiving."

Trenyce covers her mouth her shock then immediately pulls Daisy into a hug. "My God, I'm so sorry that this is happening Daisy. Can I do anything? Anything at all?"

Daisy wipes her eyes from some tears that are falling as they exit their embrace, "What can you do? Thank you for thinking of me though, Trenyce. I appreciate your support. I've already fired Greta and I'm expecting Chris home any time now."

Just as she finishes her sentence, the front door opens and Chris enters the house. "Daisy? Are you here?" he calls as he then steps into the living room and sees Daisy and Trenyce on the sofa. "There you are, I've been looking every where for you."

"Interesting that you're looking for me," Daisy replies to him coldly. "I can't imagine what you'd have to say to me."

"I know that you're probably upset with me, but I can explain," Chris tells her as he walks up to the sofa and bends down on his knees to face her. "Please just hear me out."

Daisy shakes her head no, "I don't want to hear anything you have to say ever again Chris. You've lied to me so many times, I don't want to hear another lie."

"Please Daisy!" Chris pleads with her.

"Chris, stop it!" Trenyce yells at him. "You've done enough damage to this family!"

"Trenyce stay out of this!" Chris yells back at her.

"Don't speak to her like that," Daisy warns him, as she looks into his eyes. "It's over Chris! The friendship we've had, the relationship we've had! It's all over! You are going to move out of this house, do you understand me? You're not living under my roof anymore!" Daisy yells at him, finally lashing out at her ex-husband.

Chris falls back on to his legs and looks at Daisy. He knows that there's no reasoning with her, she's finally hit her rock bottom. "Okay," he tells as he looks at her wipe her eyes again. "I'm so sorry Daisy. I never meant to hurt you. I really didn't."

"You have," Daisy snaps back at him. "But it will be the last time you ever get the chance to do this to me. I'm done being your fool," she says before she stands up and rushes out of the room.

"Daisy," he calls out at her as he stands up.

"Leave her alone," Trenyce tells him as she gets up from the sofa. "You should leave now."

"Fine, I will go but I'll be by later to see Andrew," Chris tells her calmly as he walks to the door.

"About that," Trenyce says, causing him to stop and turn and look at her. "You'll be hearing from my lawyer. I want full custody of my son. I don't want him to grow up with a father like you in his life."

"Trenyce," Chris starts to say.

"Save it. Get out of this house!" she yells at him. "And never, ever, come back!"
