Scene One - The Calimo Mansion

The morning sun beats down on the large patio outside of the Calimo mansion. Just beyond the patio is a large swimming pool that is rarely used now that the Calimo children have moved out of the house. Today, however, Bob is laying on a lounge chair with his dark sunglasses on reading the newspaper. Under the order of Kim, he is taking the morning off so he can relax and have some fun before he heads into the office to continue working on Roboto’s new line. Kim steps out from the mansion holding a fruity beverage in a small white bikini and looks over at Bob. She smiles as she walks towards him

As she approaches him, she wonders if she’s doing the right thing getting involved with him. She never had any kind of feelings for him until after Sofia died, but they have grown much closer since she died on New Year’s Eve because he has leaned on her so much. She knows that he still needs someone in his life and right now she is happy to be that person. Still, she doesn’t know how Natasha will feel about the relationship once it becomes public knowledge. She knows that she wouldn’t enjoy knowing that her best friend was sleeping with her father, but she can’t deny that being with Bob makes her feel good. Something she hasn’t felt in a very long time.

“You look a million miles away,” Bob comments as he puts the paper down, unable to not admire her in the tiny bathing suit.

“Sorry, I guess I was just thinking about Natasha,” she admits to him as he lays next to him in a lounger.

“What about her?” Bob asks, still admiring the young, sexy body next to him.

“Do you think she’d approve of us being together like this?”

Bob shrugs his shoulders, trying not to concern himself, “Natasha is a big girl. We are both adults Kimberly, we can make our own choices. Are you enjoying your time with me?”

Kim nods back to him, “Very much so Bob.”

“Then I wouldn’t worry about. Besides, I have other things on my mind,” he winks at her, his eyes filling with lust.

“Oh really? Such as?”

“I haven’t been able to take my eyes off you since you walked out in that bikini.”

Kim stands up and sits on his lap, “Oh yea? Well maybe I could really relax you before you go into the office later,” she purrs as he pulls her in for a kiss and begins to untie her bikini top.

“I’d like that a lot,” he says in between kisses.

Scene Two - The Glubbs House; Shane’s Home

Natasha rolls over in the large king size bed and feels an empty space next to her. She quickly jolts awake and sees that Shane is no longer in the bed next to her. She soon hears the shower and realizes that he’s up already. She smiles when she thinks back to the night of passionate love making. She had missed him so much when they were apart for a year or so when Cassie was keeping them apart. She shakes her head and knows that she doesn’t have to worry about that anymore, or anything because she and Shane are finally in a really good place. A place that feels good and comfortable to her.

She looks to the door and sees Shane come in with a towel wrapped around his waste and he’s carrying a tray full of breakfast foods.

“What is all this?” Natasha asks at the tray filled with fruits, yogurt and coffee.

“Just a little breakfast in bed for my girl,” he says as he sets the tray on the bed. “I thought you may be hungry when you woke up.”

Natasha looks at him and realizes this is one of the many reasons that she loves him so much. “I am hungry, how could I not be after the work out you gave me last night.”

“That’s what I was thinking,” he winks over at her. “Here, have a strawberry,” he says as he moves one of the berries to her mouth.

“Mmm,” she says as she chews it up. “That’s so tasty.”

“I was thinking about something else while I was in the shower,” Shane admits to her as he pours some coffee into a cup.

“What were you thinking Mr. Glubbs?” she asks back to him as she takes an orange slice from the tray.

“You know I love you right?” he asks as their eyes lock and she nods yes. “I want to do this all the time Natasha. I want to go to sleep next to you and wake up with you beside me. We lost so much time, I don’t want to lose anymore.”

“What are you asking me Shane?” Natasha asks him, not sure where he’s going with his statement.

“Move in with me!” he quickly replies, not sure of her answer because he knows that they had agreed to go slowly, but things have been going so well for them he really wants to take the next step with her.

Natasha sighs and looks at him. She reaches over and grabs his hand. “I love you Shane, so much,” she tells him. “I love being with you and spending time with you, but …”

“You’re not ready?” he interrupts, trying not to be too upset.

“I just think we have a good thing going right now, let’s not rush anything more. It will come when the time is right,” she continues as she squeezes his hand. “You’re not too upset are you?”

Shane looks at her and shakes his head, “Nah, I understand. Just know that I’m in this for the long haul.”

“I know, me too,” she says as she leans in and kisses him on the lips.

Scene Three - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn’s Home

Helen watches as Dawn finishes eating her cereal in the her high chair and smiles at the sight of her daughter. She continues to feel so blessed that she got her daughter back, again, this year and that nothing bad has happened to her. Her eyes quickly shift over to the large holding box on top of the fridge. She knows that inside the box is the gun she bought. She continues to feel like it was the right thing to do buying the gun so she can protect herself and Dawn if she has to when Adam isn’t at home.

She looks at Dawn, “Daddy should be home anytime now,” she says to the child, who is now putting the empty bowl over her head. “Do you want down so you can go play?”

As Helen un-straps Dawn from the highchair, she wonders where Adam went in the morning. He said he had an errand to run, but her mind continues to go back to right before Mallory fell to her death and how the young girl admitted that she and Adam almost had sex. She wonders if Adam has another woman on the side now because they haven’t been intimate in so long. She shakes her head as she drops Dawn down to the ground. “Go into the living room, Mommy will be there soon,” she says as Dawn rushes into the living room and finds some dolls to play with.

As Helen takes the empty cereal bowl into the kitchen, she freezes when she hears a noise. She puts the bowl down and walks slowly down the hallway before she hears the noise again. She can’t make out the sound, but it sounds like something is hitting one of the pipes in the basement. She opens the basement door and looks down into the blackness. “Hello? She calls down into stair well. Obviously there’s no response, so she shuts the door. She shakes her head. “Silly old house,” she says to herself as she heads back to the living room to play with Dawn.

As she sits and plays with Dawn, the front door opens and Adam comes in. “Hey, I’m home,” he smiles as he comes into the living room and kneels beside Helen and Dawn. He leans in and gives Helen a quick kiss on the lips. “Sorry I was gone so long.”

“It’s fine, where were you?” Helen asks, trying not to sound suspicious, even though she does think that Adam may have been with another woman. She has no proof, she just can’t get Mallory out of head.

Adam looks at Helen and grabs her hand, “I’ve been trying to rack my brain trying to come up with a way to make you realize how much I love you Helen. I know we’ve had a rough year or so, but I love you and want to be with you.”

Helen smiles and looks at Adam. “I do love you too. There’s nothing more I want than to try to repair this gap that’s between us. I just … I keep hearing Mallory’s words in my head.”

“I know,” Adam replies to her, still ashamed of his actions from earlier this year. “But I got you a present.”

Helen turns around and sees a small box in his hand. She arches her eyebrow and opens the box. Inside, there’s a beautiful ring with a peridot stone in the center. “My goodness, this is beautiful.”

“It’s a peridot, which is Dawn’s birthstone,” he tells her. “I’m asking you to marry me again Helen. I want us to renew our vows. I want us to start fresh. What do you say?” Marry me … again?” he grins at her.

Helen gets tears in her eyes and looks at Adam, “Of course I’ll marry you Adam!”

The two kiss on the lips as Dawn starts to clap, causing both of them to start to laugh.

Scene Four - City Hall; Daisy’s Office

“Where the hell is Greta?” Daisy asks as she opens her office door and doesn’t see her assistant sitting at her desk. Daisy walks back into the office and slams the door shut. She’s not having a good morning as some of the other city councillors didn’t agree to go her way on some projects that she wanted to get approved. Now, she has to work to get some more reports done to prove why her idea was solid and she needs Greta’s help in getting them done. But naturally, she isn’t at her desk when she needs her to be. She sits back down and starts typing quickly on her blackberry asking Greta where she is, then throws the phone on her desk and starts typing quickly on her computer, starting the files herself

“I’m not interrupting am I?” a voice says as they enter her office and shut the door.

Daisy doesn’t turn her face from her computer screen because she can recognize Vinny’s voice. “I’m busy Vinny, what is it that you need?”

Vinny sits across from Daisy and watches her for a moment. He knows that city council was probably hard on Daisy today and this isn’t a side of Daisy that many people actually get to see. Usually she’s very composed and put together, so the angry Daisy is, in some ways, refreshing for him to see. “I wanted to let you know why I voted against you in the city council today.”

Daisy finally turns and glares at him. “Listen to me Vinny, I hired you because I thought we were going to make a good team here and do a lot of good for the city of Twin Peaks. Don’t make me regret that decision. I don’t expect my staff to turn against me.”

“Whoa,” Vinny replies putting his hands up. “I think you’re ideas were good, I just think they need to be fleshed out a bit more. I would rather us come up, together, with a solid plan and then take back to city council. If we have all of our ducks in a row, it will get passed much easier. We can not jump the gun.”

Daisy leans back in her chair and takes a deep breath. “I’m sorry,” she quickly says to him. “I shouldn’t be taking my frustration out on you. I was just hoping to get this file off my desk and approved so we can move forward. You’re right though, we do need to have all of our ducks in a row first.”

Vinny smiles at her, “See, we’re already making a good team,” as he leans in and starts to tell her some of his ideas.

Scene Five - The Michael’s House; Chris, Daisy, Trenyce & Andrew’s Home

“Come on buddy, we’re going to be late,” Chris calls out to Andrew, who is running around the house with his superhero toy. Chris rushes after his son knowing that he has to be in the office shortly for a meeting with Bob and the other staff members at Roboto. He would have already been in the office today, but with Daisy having city council and Trenyce having an early morning at Robertson Enterprises, it was his turn to make sure Andrew got to daycare in the morning. He is not complaining about it though, because he loves spending time with his son; Andrew is the greatest joy of his life.

He grabs the little boy and takes him to the door. “Let’s put your jacket on, okay?” he says to his son as he grabs a light jacket for Andrew to put on. As he puts the jacket on, he hears the door bell ring. “Who could that be little man?” he asks as he lets Andrew go, which causes the little boy to rush off pretending he’s a superhero again. Chris shakes his head and smiles as he opens the door and sees Greta standing on the other side of the door.

“Greta, what’s up?” Chris asks her as she comes into the house. “I’m afraid Daisy is already at work if you’re looking for her.”

Greta looks at Chris and knows that lately they have been flirting a little bit more. At first she was a little bit worried about what Chris, and more over Daisy, would think because she is one of Daisy’s best friends and assistant, but she knows that Daisy threw Chris away after Victoria dumped him. If she doesn’t want to be with Chris, why shouldn’t Greta have the chance to be? “I’m not here to see Daisy,” she smiles at him, as she is finding it harder to hide her attraction to him.

“Really?” Chris says knowing that he likes the attention that Greta has been giving him. He has never really been without a female for very long and after Victoria and Daisy have seemingly dumped him, he knows that he and Greta have sparks together.

“Really,” she purrs at him. “I think we know that there’s been some flirting between us lately.”

“I can’t deny that.”

“Me neither,” she says coming closer to him. “And I like it.”

“Me too. A lot,” he replies to her.

She comes up to him and kisses him on the lips. He grabs her and pulls her in closer to him as their kiss lasts longer. Finally they break away and she smiles at him. “I don’t have to be back at the office for a little bit,” she says biting her lower lip.

Chris looks at her and suddenly moves away from her. He doesn’t know what he was thinking but he knows that he can’t do this again. He hurt Daisy so badly when he slept with Danielle and Trenyce; he knows that if he did actually take the next step with Greta, and Daisy found out, she would be just devastated.

“Look Greta,” he says looking at her. “You’re fine as hell and I am attracted to you, but this thing here, this is wrong. We shouldn’t be doing this.”

Greta leans back awards and looks at Chris. “Why do you say that? What’s so wrong about two hot people wanting each other?”

“We have to think about Daisy,” Chris informs her. “She’s one of your best friends. I don’t think she’d approve of this.”

Greta nods her head, “Okay, I hear what you’re saying. I’m not happy about this, but I’ll let you have a good head on your shoulders.”

“I’m sorry Greta,” he says before she leaves the house. He leans up against the wall and takes a deep breath. Saying no to her was one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do, but he knows that he did the right thing. He shakes his head as he refocuses on getting Andrew to daycare.

Scene Six - Roboto; Leah’s Office

Robbie leans over his wife’s desk and gives her a quick kiss. “Paige was so good at the sitter’s today,” he says as their lips part.

“She’s getting so big, so quickly,” Leah replies to him, knowing that their girl is growing up so quickly, almost too quickly for her own liking. “What’s on your agenda for the day?”

“I have to head over to the station and work on some files that are pressing,” Robbie tells her. “How about I see if the sitter can keep Paige late and you and I go for dinner at the Pampa Grill later?”

Leah smiles and loves the idea, “I’ll have to let you know. With everything going on around here I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it. I have to give Veronica Lane the complete Roboto tour.”

“Veronica Lane?” Robbie asks, having never heard the name before.

“Yea,” Leah tells him. “She’s the new chemist I hired while I was in Boston.”

Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door and Jeff opens the door. Robbie turns and is stunned to see Jeff walk into Leah’s office. “Jeff? Wow, I had no idea you were back! What are you doing in town?” Robbie asks him, still taken aback by his wife’s ex-husband.

Jeff looks over at Leah and realizes that she hasn’t told Robbie about seeing him in Boston or that Bob has hired him on at Roboto, which is something he doesn’t understand. He shakes Robbie’s hand, “Thanks Robbie, it’s nice to see you too.”

“I was going to tell you about this Robbie, I’ve just been so busy, I didn’t get the chance,” Leah chimes in coming up behind her husband, trying to cover her tracks. “Bob has hired Jeff to work at Roboto. He’s going to create a new updated website to go with the new line that we’re working on here.”

“Oh, I see,” Robbie says, feeling somewhat uneasy that his wife’s ex-husband is back in town and that she didn’t tell him. He trusts Leah with everything in him, but he knows that the last time Jeff was in town his marriage was heavily strained because Leah’s bond with Jeff after Noah died was very strong. “Well, I’ll let you guys get to work then,” he says looking at Leah. She winks at him and leans in and gives him a kiss. “We’ll talk later.”

“I love you,” she whispers back to him before he exit’s the office. She looks over at Jeff, “Should we get down to work?”

Jeff nods and looks at the door to see that Robbie is really gone. “Can I ask you a quick question before we get started?” he asks as he takes his laptop out of his bag.

“What’s that?”

“Why hadn’t you told Robbie that I was back in town? You saw me yesterday here,” Jeff asks her wondering what is going on with Leah. Could she really be that taken aback that he’s in town that she’s not telling Robbie everything?

“Like I told my husband, I’ve been so busy, when I got home last night, it just slipped my mind. I just wanted to be with my husband and our daughter,” the colds she says don’t mean to sound as cold as they did. She couldn’t help but set the dig that Paige is Robbie’s daughter to Jeff, even though she knows it’s a lie. “Should we get down to work?”

“Sure,” Jeff says cooling off the questions. “We have a deadline to meet.”

Scene Seven - The Sugarbowl

“So work is really going well?” Andy asks Trenyce as they sit across from each other at a table and drink some coffee. Andy doesn’t want to check in on his best friend, but he knows that it’s good to see the frame of mind that Trenyce is in as she’s still attending therapy from her eating disorder. He, like Daisy, thought at first that her jumping into working at Robertson Enterprises happened quickly and he just wants to ensure that she’s staking care of herself first.

“It really is Andy,” Trenyce beams back to him, having grown to love her job. “I can’t tell you how excited I am that I got this opportunity so quickly after school. It’s not often that people get work, especially for such a big company, so quickly.”

“Dominick must have saw something in your sketches,” Andy tells her. “And you’re talented. We all knew that even before you went to school.”

“Thanks, that means a lot to me.”

“How is therapy going?”

She looks at him knowing that it was only a matter of time before he mentioned her sessions, not that she’s complaining about it. “It is going well. I think I only have four more sessions and then it will be up to me if I want to go to more.”

“Do you think you have to go to more?”

Trenyce shrugs her shoulders, “Honestly, I don’t think so. I feel like I’m in a really good place. I don’t want to people, like yourself, to think I’m not ready to be out of therapy though,” she smiles at him, knowing that he and Daisy do worry about her.

“Hey, if you think you’re good, I’ll believe you. I just want what’s best for you.”

“Thanks,” she replies to him. “So what about you? How are you coping with the break up?”

Andy sighs and wonders how Trenyce found out about him and JC breaking up as he hasn’t seen her since before it happened. “How did you find out that JC and I broke up?”

“I saw him the other day,” she admits to him as she recalls seeing JC at the coffeehouse. “He told me that you and Reese had slept together at the Pride event last November.”

Andy shakes his head, still somewhat ashamed of himself, “I can’t believe it happened T. I mean, Reese has changed so much now. He thinks he’s like better than everyone or something.”

“I think he’s just trying to live a more honest life, something different from his parents,” Trencye informs him, not wanting to get in the middle of her two friends. “But you did sleep with him and now JC is devastated. He told me he’s going to leave town.”

Andy’s eyes opener as he hadn’t realized that JC was thinking of leaving town. JC did move out and dump Andy, but leaving town seems so much more official, so final. “He’s leaving town? Why? When did this happen?”

“I don’t know when, but he told me that he finds it too painful to stay in Twin Peaks knowing you’re here,” Trenyce tells him, hoping that she’s not making things worse.

Andy looks at his friend, “I have to stop him T. I don’t want to lose him. Not after everything we’ve been through. I want to make it work. I have to find him and make him realize that I love him!”

Scene Eight - The Calimo Mansion

Natasha opens the door to the mansion as she was hoping to see Bob before he went into the office. She raced home from Shane’s and changed at the guest house and is now at the mansion. She walks into the living room and sees Bob wearing a robe, clearly fresh from being out at the pool side, which she finds odd because Bob never uses the pool.

“Daddy, what are you doing?” she asks causing Bob to turn around from looking out the window.

“Oh darling,” he says coming up to her and hugging her. “I was just enjoying some sun before I head into the office. What brings you by?”

“Well, Shane and I were hoping to that you could join us for dinner soon. You know things with us are going so well, we thought it would be nice,” she smiles at him, still feeling a tension in the air.

Before Bob can answer, Kim comes into the living room also wearing a robe. “Bob, I wasn’t able to find…” she begins to say before she looks up and sees Natasha standing in the room.

“Kim? What on earth are you doing here?” Natasha asks, shocked to see her best friend also wearing a robe, looking at Kim then back at Bob.

Kim doesn’t know what how to respond to Natasha, so Bob intervenes. “You see Natasha, the pool at Kim’s condo tower isn’t working and she wanted to swim. So I invited her over. She was just changing back into her clothing because we have to get back to work.”

“Oh, okay,” Natasha says looking back at Kim, who has gone white as a ghost, and remains quiet. Natasha can’t place it, but she suspects something more is going on, but she has no idea what it is. “Well Daddy, please let me know about Shane and we’ll arrange something?”

“I will darling, yes,” Bob says hugging her again, as he looks at Kim. He hopes that Natasha hasn’t picked up on anything because he knows that Kim isn’t ready for that truth to be revealed yet.

“Okay, I have to get to the office, I’ll see you later. By Kim,” Natasha smiles as she slowly leaves the living room, still thinking there’s something else going on.

As soon as the front door closes, Kim looks at Bob, “My God, does she know?”

Bob laughs, “No, Kimberly, she believes our story. Don’t worry, Natasha has no idea that we are lovers. And she won’t know until we are ready for her to know.” He walks over to her and hugs her, even though she can’t get the awful feeling out of her system.

Next on One Day at a Time
- Reese is dumped
