Scene One - The Cunningham House; Mallory's Home

Robbie drives the police car slowly up to the Cunningham house and parks it before he turns to Adam and looks at him. Robbie knows that it is easy for someone to quickly react in situations like this, but he has to make sure that he knows that they have to do things by the book with the kidnapping. If Mallory in fact has taken Dawn, they have to make sure the safety of everyone comes first. They have to understand the how and why behind it so they can get Dawn back from Mallory.

"Are you ready?" Robbie asks Adam, who looks impatient at best.

Adam looks at Robbie with worry in his eyes. He can't believe that Mallory has take these steps to try to get his attention. He knows hat he is largely to blame because of his near affair with the younger woman, but he wants his child back and will do whatever he has to do to ensure that Dawn comes home safely. "I am ready. Let's go get my daughter back."

"Adam," Robbie calls out as Adam opens the door to the SUV. "Take my lead, okay? We can't have this ending badly. If Mallory has taken Dawn, we have to make sure everyone is safe, okay?"

Adam nods his head, "Okay, let's just go, okay?"

They exit the SUV and walk up to the front door of the house. Adam looks at Robbie, "Should I knock?"

Robbie arches his eyebrow. "Why don't you call her on your cell phone? Make sure she's at home first."

Adam pulls out his cell phone and dials Mallory's number. She quickly answers the phone. "I'm here Mallory. I'm at your house. Where are you?"

"I'm at home Adam. But I'm out back. I'm in the tree house that my Dad built me when I was younger."

"Why are you in the tree house?" Adam asks her as his eyes meet Robbie's and they start to walk to the back of the house.

"You'll see when you get up here," she purrs into the phone, knowing that she wants him all for herself and she believes she can do it now.

He is about to respond when she hangs up the phone. Adam looks at Robbie as they see the tree house in the large willow tree in the back yard. "Let me go up first, okay?" he asks the police officer. "Let me see if I can try to talk her into coming down with Dawn. She wants to get my attention, so I should be able to handle this."

Robbie sighs, but agrees. "Take this," Robbie says as he passes Adam a two way radio. "If anything happens, I'm coming up."

"Fair enough," Adam replies to him as he starts to walk up the ladder to the tree house after he hooks the radio on to his back part of his belt. He soon reaches the top and looks inside. He sees Mallory sitting on a small blanket and Dawn is sleeping in some blankets near her. "Dawn!" he says relieved to see his child.

Mallory looks at Adam and smiles, "Come in, please," she says to him, welcoming him into the tree house.

He crouches down as he can't stand up in the tiny space. "Why did you take Dawn Mallory? What were you thinking? Do you have any idea how scared I have been?"

Mallory looks at him and grins, "Can you blame me, really? We almost made love but you said you couldn't because of your wife. I thought that if I had the one thing that Helen has given you, you'd find me more attractive. I have your baby now Adam, we can be together."

On the ground, Robbie shakes his head slightly as he hears Mallory talk to Adam about wanting to be with him. He quickly realizes that Adam never really told the entire story about what was going on between him and the young woman. Suddenly, he feels a hand on his shoulder. Robbie turns and sees Helen. "What are you doing here?"

Helen fights more tears in her eyes, "I couldn't wait at home alone Robbie. That's my baby up there," she explains.

"I can't argue with that. Adam's up there now, let's listen to the radio," he tells her as their attention returns to listening to what's happening in the tree house.

Adam looks at Mallory and reaches for her and grabs her hand. "I'm so sorry that I've hurt you Mallory, but I can't be with you because I don't love you."

Tears fill her eyes and she slowly pulls out a knife causing Adam to quickly move away. "But you wanted to make love to me! You told me I was beautiful and hot!"

Adam gulps as she places the knife scarily close to Dawn, who is still sound asleep. "You can't go around telling people that they're beautiful and then reject them," she snaps quickly back at him. "You just can't!"

Scene Two - The Michaels House; Chris, Daisy, Trenyce & Andrew's Home

Chris opens the door to the house and comes in after he dropped Andrew off at his play group that he has joined. The family thought it was best if Andrew join a group so he can start to socialize with other children his age before he goes to pre-school in a few years. As he comes into the house, he quickly spots Daisy sitting on the sofa looking over some work files. He pauses and looks at his ex wife and wonders where things stand with the two of them. It wasn't long ago that they shared a close moment, including a kiss, because she discovered that he was the one that leaked the story of Meggan hitting Victoria with her car the day of the election and thus allowing Daisy to win the spot of mayor once again in Twin Peaks. Since then, Victoria has dumped Chris leaving him single and questioning whether or not he and Daisy could have a future together again. He knows that they have a lot to work out because when they were married he cheated on her, but they still clearly have feelings for each other.

"Hey, working from home today?" he asks as he comes into the living room.

Daisy looks up from her paper work and sees Chris before she returns her focus to her work, "Yea. I wanted to see Trenyce later because she has another therapy session. I wanted to be here for her in case she wanted to talk or anything."

"That's nice of you," Chris replies to her, amazed by how unselfish Daisy is. "Andrew was excited to be left at the play group. He really seems to enjoy playing with other kids."

Daisy smiles a little, but doesn't look at Chris, "Yea, he's growing up so quickly."

"Too fast," Chris notes, thinking that it seems like yesterday that he found out Andrew was his son. "What's on your agenda for today?"

Daisy stops reading her document and puts it down beside her, "Well, I have to get through these reports, and then as mentioned I wanted to see Trenyce, otherwise not much. What's going on with you?"

Chris signs and moves next to her, sitting beside her. "I have to go into Roboto soon. Bob is making us all work extra hard on this new line he wants out," he tells her as he looks into her eyes. "I dunno what else though."

"Are you okay? You don't seem your normal self," Daisy observes of his odd mood.

Chris shrugs and looks at his ex wife again, "I guess I'm just being reflective. We had a good thing together once upon a time Daisy."

"That we did," she replies to him with a slight grin on her face. "Seems like such a long time ago, though, hey?"

"It's still fresh in my mind though."

Daisy doesn't know how to respond to him. She knows that she does still have feelings for her ex-husband, but she also knows that he just got dumped by Victoria. The last thing she wants is to get hurt by him again - he did enough of that during their marriage.

"Very fresh," he whispers as he leans in and kisses her on the lips.

Daisy quickly pulls back and finds her self slapping his cheek hard. "How dare you!" she yells as she stands up and moves away from him.

"What?" he asks shocked that she slapped him. "I thought we had been moving towards this?"

"Moving towards what Chris?" she asks stunned by his actions. "You kiss me now because Victoria dumped you? I won't be your second fiddle. Not again! We've been down that path before, remember?"

Chris stands up and looks at her, "That's not what I was thinking Daisy, you have to believe me."

"I think you should leave Chris," Daisy replies to him, knowing that she has to stay strong in the moment or she will just get hurt again by Chris and that's the last thing she wants. A few days ago she was questioning whether she had feelings for him or not, but she refuses to be his second fiddle.

Chris looks at Daisy and sighs as he walks towards the door. Daisy hears the door close firmly. She crosses her arms and knows that while it was a difficult decision to make, she had to make it.

Scene Three - Roboto; Bob's Office

"You wanted to see me Bob?" Leah asks her father in law as she enters his office as he sits at his large desk working on some files.

Bob looks up and sees Leah and smiles at her. He is so grateful that she has decided to continue to work for him despite her father starting a new company. She could have easily have jumped ship like Robin did, but she has stayed. "I did, thank you for coming so quickly. How are you dear?"

"I'm okay. Paige was so cute this morning, you should have seen her," Leah tells him, getting some family time in before they jump into business talk.

"I'd love to see her soon," Bob tells her back.

"You name the time. Paige loves being around her grandfather. How are you? Really?" she asks, noticing that he looks tired. She eyes his desk quickly and sees the mountains of paper work as well.

"I'm well," Bob replies to her as he puts his hands on his shoulder. "I'm grateful that you're a part of my family. And that Robbie has you. You've been so strong for him in this time of need."

"I wouldn't be anywhere else Bob, you know that," she smiles back to him. "So what's up? I'm assuming you called me here on Roboto business."

"I did indeed," he replies, his tone quickly growing more stern. "You know that your sister has quit and gone to work for your father?"

Leah arches her eyebrow, "Yes, I've heard. What would you like to do regarding the new scents? We will have to find another chemist and soon."

"Those are my thoughts exactly," he replies to her. "That's why I'm sending you to Boston today."

"Boston?" Leah asks surprised that she is going away on a business trip.

"I've lined up a couple of interviews for you there. I want you to hire a new chemist and bring him or her back with you. We can't delay this any longer."

Leah nods her head, "Okay, I'll go home and pack immediately. I'll brief you as soon as I land."

"Thank you. I know you won't disappoint," Bob smiles at her, knowing that this is a critical stage in his plan to crush Dominick's new line as quickly as possible.

Scene Four - Liam's Townhouse

"Thanks for coming over," Liam says to Robin as comes into the house and quickly moves into the living room.

Robin looks around the beautifully decorated home and admires Liam's taste as it's her first time being in his home. She got a call from him inviting her over and she thought she would come over since it was clear that she and Cory were no closer to solving their marital problems after they spoke the other day and ended up fighting. She has no idea what she has to do, if anything, to make him realize that she does believe in him and that Melissa truly was the cause of their break up. She sighs and knows that she doesn't want to think about it anymore. If Cory can move on with Madeline, then she can move on with Liam and enjoy is company.

"Thank you for inviting me," she says as she turns to face him.

He looks at her and admires her beauty for a moment. He walks up to her and kisses her on the lips quickly. She pulls back and smiles. "What was that for?"

He looks at her and runs in fingers through her long flowing hair. "You're so beautiful, I couldn't help myself," he whispers to her.

"You're such a flirt Liam," she replies to him.

"But you like it."

She giggles, "It's always nice to hear someone call you beautiful."

"You are, very," he says as he kisses her ear. "I suppose I called you over because I wanted you too. I don't know how much longer I can wait not having you."

She looks at him and kisses him passionately. She pulls away and moves away from him. "I'm sorry, I just don't know …"

He sighs, "Is it Cory again?"

She turns to him and nods. "I just …"

"You know he's sleeping with that other woman, right? How long are you going to let him string you along until he's ready to make nice with you? You're a strong, beautiful woman. You should be the one calling the shots, not him."

Robin pauses and looks him wondering if he's right. She has made it clear to Cory that she's sorry for her part in what happened and it doesn't seem like it's enough for him. And he is still seeing Madeline despite being married to her.

"Maybe you're right."

"Of course I'm right. You should file for divorce. That'll send a very strong and clear message to your husband," he informs her, hoping that he's getting through to her.

Robin nods, "Yea, I will make the call. I'm going to file for divorce."

"Good answer," he says moving closer to her again. "Now where were we?" he asks kissing her again. She pulls away and looks at him. "Don't tell me you want to stop, because I know you don't," he whispers to her.

"I wasn't going to tell you to stop," she says back to him. "I was going to ask you which way to the bedroom," as they start to kiss again.

Scene Five - The Cunningham House; Mallory's Home; The Treehouse

"Mallory, you have to put the knife away," Adam tells her as he sees her continue to have the knife close to Dawn, as Helen and Robbie look each other with fear below on the ground.

Mallory looks at him and moves towards him. "Don't tell me what to do. Not anymore! Is it so bad that I just wanted you to want me?"

Adam watches her every move as she comes closer to him. He shakes his head, "No it's not wrong. I did want you, I do want you Mallory. But there's a difference between right and wrong. I'm married with a child. I can't sleep with other women, no matter how attractive they are. And you are, very attractive."

Mallory smiles slightly. "But you still don't want me. You did that day at my house." Helen can't believe what she's hearing. When did Adam want Mallory at her house?

"I did. And like I said, I do. But it's wrong."

She walks back over and picks up baby Dawn, who is sleeping in her arms. "Does this make you want me even more?" she asks getting tears in her eyes. "I have your child now. We can be together. We could be a family."

"It wouldn't work, don't you see Mallory?" he asks as he tries to calm her down.

He starts to walk towards her and she slowly starts to move away from him. "No, you have to love me. You have to love me!" she says as she gets tears in her eyes. "Everyone has always thought that I was this perfect girl, you know? I'm tall, pretty and popular. But deep down I've just wanted to be loved. Why won't you love me Mr. Black? Why?"

She continues to move away from him, "Give me the baby Mallory and we can talk about this more."

He notices how close she is getting to the opening on the other side of the tree house and he moves towards her quickly. "Stop!" she yells at him pulling out the knife. Suddenly she slips on one of the blankets that are on the floor and she leans backwards. She drops the baby and Adam quickly grabs Dawn, who is awoken and starts to cry. Mallory falls out of the opening of the tree house and falls to the ground! She lands on her back and doesn't move again. Adam looks out the tree house window as he holds his crying daughter and sees Mallory on the ground below him.

Scene Six - The Calimo Mansion, The Guesthouse; Natasha's Home

Natasha strolls downstairs when she hears the door bell ring. She has no idea who it could because everyone should think she is at work today, however, she decided to take the morning off because she has been putting in so much over time lately trying to get everything back up and running smoothly. Plus, earlier in the day she and Eva reconnected and it was a bit emotionally draining for her. She's happy that she and Eva are going to be getting to know each other, but is still an adjustment because she does still miss Sofia each and every day.

She opens the door and sees Shane standing there. He looks at her and gives her half a smile before he walks into the house. "I hope you don't mind me stopping by, but I had to see you," he enters the living room.

Natasha closes the door then joins him in the living room. "Of course not, I always want to see you. What's going on?"

Shane sighs and thinks back to earlier at the coffeehouse when he walked in and saw Natasha and Cory sitting together and Cory had been touching Natasha's hand. He knows that she claimed nothing happened, but he can't help but feel like so many years of jealousy and insecurity came rushing back to him when he saw that. "I think we need to talk."

Natasha arches her eyebrow, "Okay, what's up? You seem sad or something."

"I need you to be honest with me," he replies to her. "Is something going on with you and Cory? I know you said it was nothing earlier, but when I walked into the Sugarbowl and I saw his hand on yours …"

Natasha walks up to him and hugs him. "I'm so sorry, I should have known that it would have upset you more than you let on," she tells him as she holds him. "I promise you," she continues as they exit their embrace and she looks into his eyes. "Nothing is going on between Cory and I. We are just friends and we were catching up. He was asking me about Sofia, and I just got tears in my eyes."

Shane nods his head. "Okay, I'm sorry that I got jealous."

"It's fine. You have to believe me when I tell you that you're the man I love. You're the man I want to be with," she smiles at him as she leans in and gives him a kiss.

"I love you too Natasha," he replies to her. "And I never want anything to come between us again."

"It won't Shane. It's us, forever," she smiles back at him as she kisses him passionately again.

Scene Seven - The Tower's, Floor Eight; Eva's Condo

"How did it go with Natasha?" Will asks Eva as he brings her a cup of coffee from the kitchen.

Eva is sitting on the sofa, sets her pile of mail down beside her as she takes the coffee cup, smiles as she looks at up at Will. "It was amazing," she begins to recount her interaction with her daughter earlier at the coffee house. "We hugged and she told me that she wanted to get to know me. It was one of the best moments of my entire life."

Will can't hide his excitement as he sits down next to her. "I'm so happy for you. This is a great step forward for the two of you."

"We are still moving slowly and she is still grieving Sofia, but I think this is the right step forward. I couldn't have achieved this without you and your support," she says looking into Will's eyes. "Thank you for being here for me."

He grabs her hand, "I wouldn't be anywhere else Eva. I've really grown quiet fond of you and our time together."

"Me too," she says as she leans in and gives him a kiss.

They part and she resumes picking up her mail. She sees an unmarked envelope and arches her eyebrow. "What's that?" Will asks her as she shrugs.

She opens it and unfolds a single white piece of paper. On the paper, with letters cut out of a magazine, the note reads "I know where you are"

Eva drops the note and covers her mouth. She stands up and walks towards the window and looks outside. Will picks up the note and reads it and suddenly feels scared by the letter. "What the hell is this?" he asks as he comes up to her. "Is this some kind of a joke?"

She turns around and has tears in her eyes. She doesn't want it to be true, but the only thing that she can think of is that her abusive ex has found her. "My God Will … I think my past is coming back to haunt me!"

Scene Eight - Roboto; Chris' Office

Chris types fast and furiously at his desk working on some files that Bob has left him for the new line that Roboto is working on. He is working hard and quickly trying to forget what happened with him and Daisy earlier in the day. He can't believe that she slapped him when he kissed her. Is it so wrong that the thought that they could potentially have a future together now that he and Victoria are over? He never wanted Daisy to feel like she was his second choice and he doesn't know how to change her mind. He shakes his head as he continues to work.

"You sure are working hard," a voice calls out from the doorway to his office.

Chris turns and sees Greta standing in his doorway. "What's going on Greta?" he asks not moving from his desk, still typing quickly as he wants to get the file finished for Bob.

"I was in the neighbourhood and I thought I'd come and say hi. You seemed like you were blue last time we spoke in the park," she says as she comes in after closing the door to his office.

"Yea, well, I'm not having a good day," he quickly spits back at her.

"And why not?" she asks arching her eyebrow. "Don't tell me that fool Victoria hasn't taken you back!"

Chris looks at her, "And Daisy slapped me when I tried to kiss her! Can you believe that?"

Greta can't hide the fact that she's surprised as she recalls that recently Daisy informed that she believes that she still has feelings for her ex husband. She thought for sure that after Victoria ended things with Chris that they would reunite.

"I'm sorry to hear that Chris," Greta tells him, still surprised by the admission. "You know what I think?"

Chris looks at her as she leans over his desk and puts her finger under his chin. "What's that Greta?"

"I think you need to find yourself a real woman. One that can handle you," she smiles at him, realizing that she's flirting with him. "Now you think about that while you're working on that file," she purrs at him as she walks out of his office.

Chris watches her every move as the door closes to his office again. He shakes his head again quickly knowing that he couldn't possibly make a move on Daisy's best friend and assistant. Could he?

Scene Nine - Roboto; Bob's Office

"This is a nice surprise," Bob says as Kim enters the office holding a bag with lunch. He wasn't expecting to see her today, but is always nice to see her as they have been growing closer since Sofia's death. She has been such a great source of comfort and support to him.

"I thought you probably wouldn't get to eat if someone didn't bring you something, so I came with food," she smiles at him as she sets the bag down on his desk.

"You're so thoughtful, and you're right, I probably wouldn't have ate anything."

Kim grins at him, "See, then it's a good thing I came when I did."

He walks up and hugs her. "You've been so good to me since Sofia's death. Thank you for being here Kimberly."

She holds him closer and whispers in his ear, "I wouldn't be any where else. You have to know that."

He leans back and looks at her. "I do know that."

Before either one knows what's happening, he leans in and kisses her on the lips. She pauses at first, but soon finds herself enjoying the kiss with Bob.

Scene Ten - The Cunningham House; Mallory's Home

Police cars surround the house and the flashing red and blue lights are every where. Adam holds Dawn closely with Helen beside him. They watch as the doctors look at Mallory, who is still laying on the ground after falling out of the tree house.

Robbie comes up to them. "Are you guys okay?"

Helen nods her head, but can't bring herself to say anything. The word's from Malloy's mouth keep replaying in her mind and she can't forget them. Adam almost made love with her; Helen tries not to focus on it, but she can't help it. She squeezes Dawn a little bit tighter.

"It's okay Helen, she's safe. I told you I wouldn't let anything happen to her," Adam says, not able to take his eyes off Mallory's lifeless body.

Suddenly, Craig comes up to them. "How is she?" Robbie asks him, wanting some answers.

He shakes his head, "She broke her spinal cord when she hit the ground. I'm afraid she didn't make it."

Adam feels his eyes swell with water knowing that he is to blame for Mallory's death. He's the one that pushed her over the edge, literally. He looks back at Helen, who looks just as horrified.
