Scene One - The Black House; Adam, Helen & Dawn’s Home

Adam opens the door to the house and enters. He drops his brief case and walks into the living room, where he sees Helen and Dawn playing in the living room. He watches them for a second and realizes that Helen has picked up on being a mother like she always has been one. She interacts with Dawn so naturally, he realizes. And Dawn has really taken to being with Helen all the time. He recalls that when Dawn was first born she was extremely fussy for Cassie; now it makes sense because somehow Dawn must have known that she wasn’t with her real mother. Watching mother and daughter now, it’s like they were never separated, and Adam couldn’t be happier; he has longed for this moment for so long.

“This is a nice sight,” he smiles to his two girls as he kneels down beside them.

Helen looks up at her husband and smiles back at him. “She’s really coming along way, I think.”

“She seems to be doing very well.”

“Mama!” the young child says as she rushes into Helen’s arms. They hug and Helen looks over at Adam with tears filled in her eyes.

“Yes, pretty girl, I’m your Mama,” Helen tells her back. “And who is that? Is that Daddy?”

Dawn looks at Adam and smiles before she returns to playing with her dolls. “That was a nice surprise. I hadn’t heard her say actual words before.”

“She started Mama earlier today. I was going to tell you,” Helen replies back to her husband as she stands up. “Can I get you anything? Water or tea?”

Adam shakes his head, “Maybe just a hug and kiss from my wife. You look beautiful today.”

Helen smiles as she hugs Adam. “Thank you,” she replies to him as they share a quick kiss on the lips.

“I have a surprise for you,” he reveals as they exit their embrace.

“You do?”

“I’ve made dinner reservations at the Pampa Grill. I was hoping you and I could have a romantic night out. Just the two of us, try to reconnect?” Adam asks, hoping that Helen doesn’t shoot him down. He knows that lately every time he has made an effort to get close to Helen, she has pushed him away.

Helen eye’s bulge open, “And what about Dawn? We can’t just leave her alone.”

“Of course not,” Adam quickly tells his wife trying to calm her down. “I thought we could ask Shane to watch her. We know he would never do anything to hurt her and we know that he has asked to be a part of her life still. Come on Helen, everything will be fine. We need this time together. And Shane, he must miss Dawn.”

Helen turns around and wraps herself in her arms. She shakes her head no, “I’m sorry, I can’t go out with you Adam. I think Dawn is making such wonderful progress. The last thing we need is for Shane to come over and confuse her all over again. The last thing I want is for Dawn to have a set back. I can make us a nice dinner here if you want.”

Adam looks deflated as she tells him her reasons for not wanting to go out with him. “I’m sorry Adam, I know you have wanted to reconnect, but you have to understand that Dawn has to be our top priority right now.”

Adam turns around from his wife, “Yea, you’ve made that loud and clear.”

“Adam, please …”

“I’m going out for awhile. I dunno when I’ll back.”

Before Helen can reply, she hears the front door slam shut. She looks at Dawn and smiles at her daughter, trying to hide the fact that she hates what happened just now between her and Adam.

Scene Two - The Pampa Grill

“Thank you for meeting me darling,” Dominick says to Leah as she sits across from him at his table, which is surrounded by lush green plants. “It was urgent that we spoke.”

Leah arches her eyebrow thinking she knows what this is about. She did, after all, get an urgent call from Bob the other day telling her that things at Roboto would be heating up because Dominick announced he was the CEO of the numbered company that was now going to rival Roboto. She is surprised that her father went about it in such an underhanded way, but she is sure that he has an explanation. She also knows that there’s no love loss between Bob and her father.

“I don’t have long, I’m afraid. I’m going to meet Robbie here for dinner soon,” Leah tells him back as she takes a drink of her water.

“How is Robbie?” Dominick asks quickly. “I mean, I’m sure ofia’s death is still raw for him.”

Leah nods, “He hides it well. He doesn’t like expressing his feelings, which worries me. I can only believe him when he tells me that everything is okay with him.”

“He’s lucky to have you,” Dominick smiles back over at her. “But to get to the real reason that I called you here, I have a proposition for you.”

Leah looks at her father with curiosity, “Okay, I’m listening. This sounds interesting.”

Dominick chuckles, “I want you to come work with me, at Robertson Enterprises.”

Leah’s mouth falls open and she covers it quickly.

“You’re a very talented executive Leah. I know what you’ve done at Roboto and frankly, I could use you at Robertson. You’d be a great addition to my team,” Dominick informs her, hoping that she’ll accept his offer.

“Daddy, thank you so much for the offer,” she tells him as she grabs his hand. “But I have to turn you down. I can’t work for you.”

Dominick sighs and falls back into the booth that he’s sitting in. “I don’t mean to hurt you, I really don’t. It’s just … Now is not a good time for me to leave Roboto. Bob just lost his wife; Robbie just lost his mother; I can’t test that water anymore than it already has been. Right now they need stability. You understand, don’t you?”

Dominick smiles at his daughter and grabs her hand again. “Of course I do. You’re a good wife to Robbie. Make sure he always knows how much you love him.”

“I will Daddy. I should get going though, we’ll talk soon?” she says as she stands up and leans over to give him a quick kiss on his cheek.

“I love you Leah,” he tells her as she leaves the table, even though he is disappointed that she won’t be joining him at his company.

“You look absolutely beautiful,” Liam tells Robin as they sit across from each other at another table with in the restaurant.

She puts her glass of red wine down and smiles over at her date. “Thank you,” she replies, as she touches her scar-free cheek. “I’m just glad that this nightmare is over you know?”

Liam looks closer at her face and nods, “I can’t even tell you were ever scarred. The doctors did an amazing job.”

“I’m so blessed that my father called in the specialist from New York. Otherwise, I would have had to leave and we wouldn’t be here together tonight.”

“And that would be a shame,” Liam grins at her. “I must admit, I was a little surprised to get the phone call from you.”

“You were?” Robin asks surprised.

“Yup. We hadn’t spoken in awhile, and I thought the friendship boat had passed after your mother left town. I’m glad that it didn’t though.”

Robin blushes a little and smiles at him. “You’ve always been so good to me Liam. I guess I just wanted to be around someone that treated me well for a change.”

“I would love to show you how well I could treat you,” Liam leans in closer to the table as he grabs her hand. “Why don’t we head back to my place?”

Robin gulps and pulls her hand away, pretending to move her hair behind her ear. “Thanks Liam, but I’m still just testing the waters here. I don’t want to rush into anything. I am still married, after all.”

“Yea, that’s cool. Just know that I’m game whenever you’re ready.”

As they continue to talk, Leah walks by the table and notices Liam holding Robin’s hand. She quickly walks by unseen by Robin or Liam, but she feels her heart skip a beat inside her heart. She knew that Robin was planning on having another date with Liam, but seeing them together, she can’t help but think that her secret may be close to coming out. She realizes that she has to speak to Liam and make sure that he will never say anything about the paternity test.

“Hey, are you okay?” Robbie asks his wife as he comes up behind her. “You look like you saw a ghost.”

Leah hugs her husband, “Yea, I’m fine. Sorry. I’m glad we are here having dinner tonight. I want to be close to my husband. Shall we get a table?”

“After you my love,” he replies to her, still wondering what’s going on with his wife.

Reese arrives at Dominick’s table stands there for a second, as he doesn’t want to interrupt Dominick reading a file that he has in his hands. Reese finally clears his throat so Dominick will notice him standing there.

“Oh, you must be Reese Wilkins?” Dominick says extending his hand to him. “Dominick Robertson, please have a seat.”

Reese shakes his hand then sits across from Dominick. “I must admit, I was a bit surprised to hear that you wanted to meet me here Mr. Robertson. I don’t believe we’ve ever actually met before.”

“No we haven’t, but I knew your father quiet well. He was a good man,” Dominick tells Reese, who puts his head down as he thinks of Preston.

“He was. I miss him every day,” he replies softly. “And I hear you were close to Sofia Calimo. My condolences.”

“Thank you. Shall we get down to business then?” Dominick asks Reese, who nods his head. “I’d like to offer you a job with my new company.”

Reese arches his eye brows, surprised by what he is hearing. “I heard that you just launched a new company. Robertson Enterprises?”

“That’s right,” Dominick smiles, proud of his name being in the company. “I’m launching a new perfume and associated with the perfume will be a fashion line. However, I need a model to be the featured star of the fashion line. I’d like that model to be you.”

Reese is genuinely surprised. “Wow, me? A male model?”

“I can tell you are surprised,” Dominick replies back to him. “Look, I realize you may not have the experience, but that will come in time. I have a great female model that I’m hoping will say yes, and you are the look that I’m going for with my male demographic. I’ve drawn up some paper work, take a look at it and let me know?”

He hands Reese some documents and Reese quickly reads them over. “This looks fantastic,” he says as he looks at Dominick. “Thank you so much for the offer Mr. Robertson, I’ll do it! I’ll take the position!”

“Perfect!” Dominick smiles as he shakes Reese’s hand. He knows that there’s no way he will let Bob lead the industry anymore. By pairing his perfume with a fashion line, he’ll blow Roboto out of the water, and he finally be able to prove to everyone that he can compete with Bob, and he had Sofia’s heart, or at least part of it.

“I don’t have bed head do I?” Madeline grins across the table from Cory, knowing that they just finished having hot, passionate sex before coming to the restaurant for a bite to eat.

“Nah, you look beautiful, as always Madeline, don’t worry about it,” he replies to her as he takes a drink of his wine.

“You’re so kind to me,” she smiles back at him.

“Just being honest,” he says as he puts his menu down, which as he does he happens to see Robin and Liam at a near by table. He can’t help but stare as Liam is holding Robin’s hand on the table. He gulps not realizing that Robin had moved on so quickly. He felt bad when Robin arrived at the penthouse the other day and discovered Madeline there only wearing a towel, and she seemed crushed at the sight. He had no idea she was seeing someone else already.

“Cory? Are you okay?” Madeline asks him, noticing that he drifted away from her.

“Yea, sorry. What’s on your mind?” he asks her, trying not to look over at Robin and Liam again.

She grabs his hand and smiles, “I was wondering about us. You and I.”

Cory arches his eye brow. “What about us?”

“I dunno, like … where are we going?” she asks, trying to play it casually.

Cory sighs and looks at her. “I don’t want to hurt you Madeline. I really don’t,” he continues. “But I can’t make any promises to you. I have no idea where this is going. I like you. I like hanging out with you, but I’m still married to Robin. I don’t know what will happen in the future.”

Madeline clams up as that wasn’t the answer she was hoping for. Still on some level, she is happy that he was honest with her. “Okay, let’s just continue to have fun together.”

“Okay,” Cory replies to her as he takes another drink of his wine, not realizing that he crushed Madeline’s spirit.

Scene Three - Twin Peaks General Hospital; The Waiting Room

“So she admitted to you that she has an eating disorder?” a shocked Chris asks Daisy, who just finished recounting her visit with Trenyce the previous night.

Daisy nods to him, “Yea, she’s been forcing herself to throw up. I did some research, that specific disease is called Bulimia. However, she was also anorexic because she wasn’t eating anything at times.”

“Wow,” Chris replies, still dumbfounded by the news that Daisy just laid on him. “Everything in our lives seemed to be getting back on track. I wonder what pushed her over this edge?”

“I don’t know. I didn’t want to ask her too many questions,” Daisy confesses, just grateful that Trenyce opened up at all. “I’m sure in time we can get more of the truth from her.”

“I hope so. We need to make sure that she doesn’t go down this path again.”

“I agree, but you know it’s made me realize something really important too.”

“What’s that?” he asks her as their eyes lock.

“All this fighting that has been happening, you know between you, Victoria and Vinny. It’s all so pointless Chris. This is what matters, you know? Our family has to be healthy. Nothing else matters.”

Chris grabs her hand, “I know. You’re right. Our family is what matters.”

From the entrance way to the waiting room, Greta stands and watches the two exs interact. She smiles when she sees Chris grab Daisy’s hand, as she remembers the other day Daisy telling that she may still have feelings for Chris. Greta slowly walks away, not wanting to interrupt them. She walks over to Trenyce’s hospital room and opens the door.

“Are you awake?” Greta asks as she enters the hospital room.

Trenyce turns her head and sees Greta, “Hi Greta. I didn’t realize you were here too.”

“I came because your Aunt is my best friend. If she needs me, I’m there for her,” Greta replies to Trenyce as she sits next to her. “How are you feeling, really?”

Trenyce looks back up at the ceiling. “Alright, I suppose.”

“It’s okay Trenyce, you can tell me. I was there once.”

Trenyce looks back at Greta, “What? What do you mean?”

“You heard me. I was in the bed you are in once,” Greta tells her slowly. “I was 85 pounds before my father figured out that I was starving myself. The girls in my high school were so mean to me. I was already an outcast because I was one of the only black girls in the school. But to also have a bootie didn’t go over well. So I stopped eating. That was along time ago, and I got better. And I am comfortable with myself now. But I know that you’re not just okay. So tell me, how are you, really?”

Trenyce feels her eyes swell with water and she grabs Greta’s hand. “It makes it easier knowing someone really understands. I guess I’m embarrassed. I never wanted to hurt my Aunt. And I can’t imagine what Andrew is thinking. He doesn’t know why his Mommy is gone, but he knows that I haven’t been home the last few days. That scares me. I want to get better so I can go home and be a good mother to my little boy.”

“You will be going home Trenyce. You need to have a support system, I hope I can be in that group,” Greta tells her. “You can call me anytime. If nothing else, I understand what you’re going through.”

“Thank you,” Trenyce replies as a tear falls down her cheek.

Scene Four - Twin Peaks General Hospital; Victoria’s Office

“Yes, Donovan, I’m sure that it’s okay,” Victoria says into her phone receiver. “I wouldn’t want you staying in a hotel for very long, and I have that extra bedroom at my condo … I’m not going to take no for an answer! Plus, it’ll be nice for us to really catch up again if you’re living with me … Perfect! I knew you’d come around … Yes, make yourself at home, I shouldn’t be too late … Okay bye.”

She hangs up the phone and smiles. At first having her brother come back to town was troublesome for her because she thought if he found her that maybe her father had found her as well. After he made it clear that he hasn’t seen their father in years either, she realized that it would be nice to get to know him again. She has enjoyed having family around and someone to take her mind off the Vinny and Chris dramas that have been going on for far too long. She is concerned that Donovan may reveal her real name, Marbella Moretti, but she will deal with that when she has too.

She hears a knock on the office door so she looks up, “Come in.”

Eva opens the office door and walks into her office. “Victoria! I’m so glad we could finally arrange for us to have this meeting,” Eva says to her as she comes into the office and moves up to the desk.

Victoria stands up and shakes Eva’s hand quickly, “Please have a seat. I’m glad we could squeeze this in as well. It has been a long time in the coming.”

“It certainly has,” Eva smiles as she quickly looks around the office. “This is a nice office you have.”

“Yea, I’ve had it for years. Since I first came to GH,” Victoria replies to her. “I must confess to you Eva, I really don’t have any complaints or questions or anything for you. I’m not sure what you were expecting from this meet and greet.”

Eva smiles back at her, “You’re not the first one that has told me that,” she chuckles. “I guess I just wanted to be able to put a face to the names of my staff and ensure that everything is going well with you.”

“I appreciate that, I really do,” Victoria smiles back at her. “And like I said, everything from my end is going well.”

And then it hits Eva. As she sits there and watches Victoria, it dawns on her: she thinks she knows Victoria from some where. She can’t place it, exactly, but she thinks she has seen Victoria before. Eva shakes her head and returns her focus to Victoria. “Okay, well I won’t keep you. Let me know if you need anything. Anything at all.”

“I will, thank you,” Victoria smiles, unaware of Eva’s thought process.

Eva walks out of the office and turns back and looks into the office one more time. She waves to Victoria before walking off. “There’s no way I could know Victoria. I’ve only been in Twin Peaks a few years. She’s been in Twin Peaks her entire life,” Eva whispers to herself, still unsettled by the fact that she think she knows Victoria from some where. As she walks, it continues to haunt her. She knows that face … but how?

Scene Five - Twin Peaks University

“Mr. Black?" Mallory calls out in the hallway of TPU as she sees Adam opening his classroom door. “Why are you here so late?”

Adam looks at Mallory as she comes up to him and sighs. While he doesn’t say anything to her, seeing her is the last thing that he needs right now. After another rejection from Helen, he doesn’t want to be tempted by the young woman in front of him.

“I had some marking to do, so I came back,” Adam lies to her. Truth be told, he had no where else to go. “Why are you here?”

“There was a late cheerleading practice, it just ended. You seem upset, are you okay?” Mallory asks him, noticing his funny mood.

“I’m fine,” Adam says as he finishes opening the door and walking into the classroom. She follows him into the room.

“Are you sure?” she asks him as she takes off her sweater, which reveals a tight blouse that shows off her large breasts. She immediately feels Adam’s eyes on her. “I could help you if you’re not.”

“I am okay Mallory. You should head home before your parents start to worry about you,” he says as he sits on the edge of his desk.

She comes up to him and puts her hands on his shoulders, slowly starting to massage them. “You feel so tense Mr. Black,” she purrs as she places herself between his legs. She takes one of his arms and places is around her back. “Are you sure there’s nothing I can do to make you feel better?”

Adam feels himself get drawn into her trance. He finds his hand slowly moving down her back to her butt and his lips moving closer to hers. Before he knows what he’s doing, he’s kissing her passionately on the lips.
