An Undisclosed Parking Lot

Chris pulls his SUV into a parking stall and turns off the engine. His heart is racing a million miles per minute as he recalls being at the coffeehouse earlier and he saw an ad on the Twin Peaks Sun website on the classifieds page. He, immediately, wondered if the ad was a way for him to make more money, which is what Trenyce has been asking him for. He didn't realize that they were in such dire circumstances until they were at the Sugarbowl and they went into overdraft protection as a result.

"This could be a way for me to make money," he whispers to himself. "The only thing is, I can never tell Trenyce about it. She would never understand this…but the pay is good."

He takes another deep breath as he tries to control his heartrate. "I…I can just tell Trey that I got a new contract; she'll believe that. And in the meantime, this can be my little secret. No harm, no foul."

He finds himself nodding as if he is convincing himself that what he is doing is the right thing. "Yea, that's what I'll do," he tells himself as he opens the door to his SUV. "I need to make this money for Trey and our family. This is the right thing to do."

The One Day House; Second Floor Office's; Ethan's Office

"I can't believe that you actually told your family that we are engaged," Abby grins over to Ethan as they sit next to one another on the sofa in his office. Ethan just told Abby that he told his family, which included Jeff, Leah, and Dominick, that they are going to be married. Abby knows that his family, especially Leah, would be firmly against the idea of them getting married. "World war three hasn't started, so that is a good sign?"

Ethan chuckles back to her. "It went as well as to be expected," he nods back to her. "Dominick and Leah were not thrilled, but I told them that this was happening regardless and I wanted my family's support."

"How did Jeff take it?"

Ethan shrugs back to her. "Surprisingly well," he admits to him. "Maybe because he is with Victoria and no one seems to approve of that? I don't know, but my Dad was probably the one who handled it the best."

"That's great," Abby smiles to him. "At least someone is happy for us."

"What about you? Have you told your family?"

"I called my Dad," Abby nods back to him. "He is over the moon because he has always loved you. I haven't had the chance to talk to Cheresa yet. But I did tell Max."

"Max?" Ethan arches his eyebrow back to her. "Why would you tell him?"

Abby gulps back to him as she thinks about the steamy kiss that she and Max shared recently. She knows that they can't go down that path again, but she did want him to hear the news from her. "I ran into him and considering we have a son together, I thought he should hear it from me."

"I supposed that's fair. You know what's next, right?" Ethan chuckles to her.

"What?"

"We get to plan a wedding!"

"My favorite part," Abby giggles back to him. She leans over and kisses him passionately. "Make love to me, Ethan. Let's celebrate in style?"

He crawls on top of her and starts kissing her passionately. "You don't have to tell me twice."

Robertson Enterprises

Victoria sits behind her desk and is typing into her laptop quickly. She is reviewing the latest spring numbers from the RELax launch; the numbers aren't as strong as the original launch last winter, but she knew that would be the case. She can't help but think about the original launch as it exposed her and Jeff's affair. They've come so far since then as they have gone public with their relationship, which Leah and Bryce are not pleased about.

Recently, however, she was pressed by Jeff to reveal if she framed Leah for the missing funds from Robertson Enterprises last year; she, finally, admitted that it was her, but Jeff hasn't left her yet. In fact, they just made love a day earlier.

"I was so worried I was going to lose you by telling you the truth," Victoria whispers to herself as she looks at a picture of her and Jeff on her cell phone. "But you're still here, and that makes me so happy. I guess this will just end now, because no one else will ever know what I did. You decided to be with me and that is all that matters."

The Sugarbowl

Felicia opens the door to the coffeehouse and scurries inside. She decided to do some afternoon shopping just to get out of the house and ended up at the coffeehouse for a latte, which will be a nice afternoon treat for her. After she orders, she happens to peer to the back booth where she sees Frederick sitting alone. She arches her eyebrow at the sight of her husband as the last time she saw him, she demanded that she wanted a divorce and she slapped him across the face for everything that he had put her through.

After she collects her drink, she finds herself moving to the booth where Frederick is sitting. "I hope you got the present I had sent over for you," she purses her lips together.

Frederick looks up from his phone. "Ah, Felicia, it's lovely to see you."

"Did you get them? Did you get my divorce papers?" Felicia asks him ignoring his comments to her.

"Any good lawyer would have followed up with you on when they were delivered," Frederick chuckles back to her. "I guess using your grandson wasn't the smartest idea."

"He did exactly what I wanted, so he is the best lawyer I could have asked for," Felicia replies to him. "Please sign them, Frederick. Let's not delay this any further, okay?"

"The only problem, my dear sweet wife, is that I don't want a divorce," Frederick informs her. "So, I will not be signing them any time soon. And there is not a damn thing you can do about that."

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"I can't believe that this is finally happening," an excited Helen gushes to Adam and Cheresa as they stand outside of Dawn's hospital room. She is trying not to get emotional but she is finding herself swell with tears in her eyes as Cheresa told them that Frederick was able to help get Dawn out of her brainwashed status; her and Adam raced to the hospital once they learned this information as they want to see their daughter for themselves. "All of our prayers, they have been answered."

"Let's go in and see Dawn to ensure that Frederick wasn't making this up?" Adam suggests to his wife and Cheresa. "I know I want to see my daughter."

"Okay, let's go," Cheresa tells them as she prepares to open the door. "But if she starts to get overwhelmed, we might need to limit it to one visitor at a time."

"Let's hope that's not the case," Helen replies to her as Cheresa opens the door. The three usher into the room and Dawn looks over at her family from the hospital bed.

"Mom, Dad," Dawn smiles back at them. "Hi. Cheresa…hi!"

They rush over to Dawn and take turns hugging her. "Oh my, you're back, you're really back," Helen says as tears flow down her cheeks.

"We have been praying for this for so long," Adam tells his daughter.

"I know, and I'm back," Dawn nods back to them before she grabs Cheresa's hand. "Hi, I've missed you."

"I've…I've missed you too," Cheresa smiles back to her. "More than you'll ever know."

The Pier

The there is a large part of the pier that has been blocked off with yellow police tap as it is a crime scene since it is the area that Paige found Tara's body floating in the river. Simona is present as she is looking for any sort of evidence that might help her identify who the killer may be; the fact is, however, they don't know that the location where the body was found is the same location as the murder itself. With the river having heavy currents, Tara might have been killed somewhere else, but she thought this would be a great place to start.

"What did you find?" Simona asks Sergio, who comes up to his sister.

"By the railing," Sergio replies to her quickly. "There is some black clothing that tore and got caught in the railing. It looks to be like the same clothing that Tara was wearing when her body was found."

"Ah," Simona nods back to him. "So the murder did happen here?"

"It would appear that way."

"Makes sense," Simona tells him. "Those buildings behind the walkway are the storage lockers, which means there are no windows, so no one would have seen the crime, unless someone was walking by."

"What are the odds that we have a witness?" Sergio chuckles to her.

"Probably not very good," Simona tells him. "Let's go back to the railing. Maybe there is something more there."

The siblings walk towards until the reach the railing. Simona can see the black fabric in the railing. "We will need to collect this for evidence," she tells her brother before she bends down and puts on a blue plastic glove. "What is there?"

She stands tall again and holds an earring in her hand which Sergio can see. "This might belong to Tara or the killer."

"Not Tara," Sergio tells her. "I read the report, Tara wasn't wearing any jewelry."

"That means, this could be our connection to the killer," Simona looks back at him with intent.

Twin Peaks General Hospital

"Answer me, Stephanie," a furious Jacob glares back at the doctor with intent as they stand in the waiting room of the hospital. They are at the hospital because Stephanie and Cassie got into a fight which left Cassie hurt; Jacob was just asking Stephanie what caused the injury. "What happened between you and my wife that she got hurt?"

Stephanie gulps heavily as she knows that Cassie saw her and Jacob kiss and they had a heated confrontation, where Cassie threatened to expose Stephanie secret of being a transwoman; that's when Stephanie stopped Cassie from leaving and a fight broke out. Shortly after, Cassie tripped and was knocked unconscious.

"I, uh, well…" she begins to explain before a nurse comes into the waiting room.

"I am sorry to interrupt Mr. Calimo but your wife is asking to see you," she explains as Jacob makes eye contact with her.

Jacob looks back at Stephanie. "This isn't over, Stephanie," he tells her before he rushes off to find Cassie's room. Stephanie breathes a sigh of relief and finds herself following Jacob.

Jacob, meanwhile, opens the door to Cassie's hospital room. "Hey, how are you?"

Cassie smiles at the sight of her husband, who sits on the edge of her bed. "They say I have a concussion so they are keeping me here overnight for observations. Otherwise, I'm fine, perfectly fine."

"Thank God," Jacob pulls her into a hug. "I was so worried about you."

At the doorway, Stephanie watches Jacob embrace his wife. She locks eyes with Cassie, who glares back at her, still not ready to tell Jacob that she lost the baby that they she was carrying.

The Richardson Estate; Meggan, Logan, & Donovan's Home

Logan storms into the living room of his family home and groans when he sees his parents huddled together. He had thought Jeff had left but his father is back and he can only imagine what Meggan is feeding him with now. Logan had left to go see Simona to tell her that arresting Andy was a mistake, but she cut their conversation short because she found out that Tara was murdered and that took higher priority.

"What's going on here?" Logan demands to know from his parents.

"Oh Logan, thank God you're home," Meggan breathes a sigh of relief. "I…I called your father because when you stormed out of here, I got worried about you. I'm glad that you're home and that you're safe."

"I live here, I was going to come back eventually," Logan spits at her. "But if you think you can put on this caring mother act and I'm going to forgive you for what you've done, you're dead wrong."

"I see you're still upset," Jeff tells his on. "I…I think if we all just sit down and talk about this, we can find out what is the best course of action for all of us."

"The best course of action is to get Andy out of jail!" Logan tells them. "He didn't rape anyone, especially not me!"

"I..I…" Meggan starts to say but she is interrupted by a phone call. She picks up her cell phone. "Hello? Yes, this is Meggan Richardson…what? Already? Okay, yes, we will be right there."

Jeff and Logan look back at her. "Who was that?" Jeff asks his ex-wife.

"It was the courthouse," she begins to explain. "Because of how serious these charges against Andy are, there is an emergency trial and it's about to start. The Judge, he wants all three of us there. We…we have to go."
